I had a gent named Steven come to the house. Guy was fantastic. Knowledgeable and answered every single question I asked. I can’t speak to the service, seeing that I can’t tell if what was performed took. However, what I can say is that the inspection was thorough. Addressed all of my concerns and was tactful when placing traps and bait. HIGHLY recommend!

The project was to take 5 days & they finished it in 3! They cleaned out the attic & basement of rodents & replaced insulation. They did the same for the basement. They sealed up holes around the perimeter of the house & in my garage. Hoping I won’t have anymore problems with mice! They were a great crew!

I would like to give a big recommendation to David from a branch 910. I’ve used orkin for 1 year. Tonight was the second time David has come to my house. I wish he was able to come every day. He was punctual and very friendly. I have a huge fear of bugs and he treated the total inside and outside of my house with no questions asked. He was very informative regarding insects and gave ideas on what we could be doing differently. You can tell he cares about his work and puts in tremendous effort to make his customers happy. We had a infestation of fly on summer. Orkins did solved the problem. We did sign a contract for four months. The only problem is they were quick to charge you, but they don't come fast as they charge you.

For the first treatment, the technician was a professional, prompt and thorough. We’re very happy we chose Orkin as our service provider for our rodent problem at home. They should be back in a month, then every other month for continued preventative treatments. They are also the most affordable extermination provider. Updated: we’ve had Orkin for a few months now. And they are still the best provider. Courteous, professional, thorough. Great selection on our part!

Leaving this review for my grandmother. Stephen/Steven (I’m not sure how it’s spelled) helped her out and she was very happy with him. He did a thorough investigation, took his time, and answered all of her questions. She was originally upset and complained because orkin did not arrive on time but she apologizes for that because Stephen/steven was so kind and helpful when they did show up. I believe he was really over booked. She says she will recommend this company to people in the future

Although there is an ongoing issue with “guests” getting into our attic occasionally, the people that they hire to come and spray are incredibly nice and happy. Several times I’ve witnessed them interacting with my dog and cat and singing to themselves while doing their work. They are always smiling and incredibly polite.

We began this relationship on TWO rough notes. One reschedule after confirmation. The second event was much more aggravation. I waiting for my newly prescribed appointment on a Saturday. Fifteen minutes after the later arrival time I received a call from the technician. He was running 2-3 hours behind. He stated his first customer took longer. No problem. He should have called me then so I could have rescheduled. Very annoying. No discount offered like the first scheduling issue. Just finished. Looking to see excellent results as the cost isn’t the cheapest. Seem to use a more location focused treatment plan rather than spray everything. 7/15 - after the rocky start Orkin has been very reliable. The tech that has come to my house has been super nice and thorough. Ants are much better controlled and the woodpeckers have gone to another diner! Highly recommended.

Generally, service personnel show up when scheduled although last month the person never showed on the scheduled day and the company didn't follow up. My major concern, however, is that they send a different technician each time -- so there's no continuity in understanding our particular on-going needs. This is different than when I first began service from Orkin -- for about a year, or possibly more, we had the same fellow providing the service. So I would say that I am disappointed although I understand that there may be a labor shortage presently. I hope that there can be some correction going forward.

Had a couple roaches pop up around the house, called orkin right away, they came out in 2 days and treated the whole house. They were very helpful and set me up with a monthly plan at a reasonable price. Would recommend them. Very professional and answered any questions I had.

Orkin came out less than 24 hours after I called for help with a mouse infestation in my elderly parents’ home. The tech Corey arrived promptly and assessed the situation. He had a wonderful manner with my parents who didn’t quite understand the situation and can be a little suspicious of others. He used matter-of-fact language with some very effective humor to reassure them. I was really impressed by this. He quickly found several possible entry points inside and out and blocked them up. He laid traps throughout the basement including the suspended ceiling. Very efficient, professional, and thorough job. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could!

Orkin is fantastic! My local office servicing Arlington ( maybe located in Wilmington??? ) couldn’t be better. I have been with them for seven years plus and they have been consistently good. My technician Jeremy is terrific and couldn’t be beat!!! Now I have Craig and he is equally fantastic!!! Today he remembered to bring me all the glue traps to hold me through until the Coronavirus died down and he can once again come in and do the interior of my house instead of just taking care of the exterior. Again Orkin remains to be terrific!! Very consistent and professional and effective. Would recommend them to anyone!!! I now have a new technician and his second internal visit was quite good. Very thorough and I am very pleased. I would like his manager, Dave, to know this. They are honest, respectful. We have always had the best Orkin Service Workers. I like them so much I have recommended them to my 4 married daughters and sisters also co-workers. Eric the Orkin Service Technician was great today he came a little early which I loved (the office called to make sure that was OK with my schedule), he was courteous and knowledgeable and showed me where he thought the issue was with pests getting into my home so I could rectify the problem. The level of professionalism from the Orkin Team was admirable in nature. When Matt and Creg came to my house to clean and seal my basement crawl space, they made sure I was aware and satisfied every step of the process. Matt took his time to explain what he intended to do to take care of the problem. They took extra care of the areas in my house where they walked making sure my floors remained clean. Joe, the person who supervised the project was diligent, quick to respond to my phone call and it was obvious he wanted to deliver the best customer care possible. The technician is great. He does whatever is asked of him. My question is, why do I have to explain what needs to be done every time someone comes here. It is obvious to me that when my house has been treated without me being present, it does not get done correctly. I have to explain what needs to be done. Why are your technicians not informed before they get here as to what needs to be done. If I hear the comment “I’m here for your carpenter ant treatment once more...”. I had a carpenter ant problem 1 time years ago. My biggest problem had and always will be the hornet and wasp problem and mice. I’m going to give this new technician a chance because he seems to be intelligent and wants to do his job. The last few people you have sent have been HORRIBLE. Again this young man seems to be on the ball. I don’t even know why I bother responding to this request. I don’t think anyone reads them. Have a good day and stay safe.

Very happy with Orkin’s service .. we tried doing it ourselves with products bought at the hardware store. We had very little to no results with their products . We decided to call Orkin and have them come out.. The results were amazing.. I was horrified by the amount of bodies that we ended up finding after just the first application.. Quite pleased with the service today. Technician came within time frame promised. He was very pleasant, explained fully what his plan was, and carried out the plan efficiently. It was raining and main concern was a bee/hornet nest but he still took care of it. Also looked at a couple of issues in my tenant’s apartment and basement and quickly addressed these. I can call back if the problems are not taken care of, particularly the bee issue in the next couple of days

Orkin came to my house for an initial visit to treat my house for ants and mice. He seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. He came on time. He thoroughly sprayed inside and outside for ants. He found and plugged up some holes where he found droppings and other evidence of mice entering. He also put some mouse traps in the basement. So overall his visit went well.

The technician (Omowande) came on the early side of the time frame and spent about 2 hours spraying and investigating the problem. He reassured me and my family that he would take of everything!

They are very good at asking if there are any problems. Geordie they come out or while they are out treating the perimeter and i find the cost very reasonable for the piece of mind it brings

We originally had seasonal mice and started a program to rectify. During inspection notice carpenter ant activity in attic. So we needed to add to the situation. We had totally renovated our home 3 yrs ago but somehow these problems arrived. Since our third treatment we are seeing results of no activity and are very pleased with our situation. Going forward is prevention , the technician works in a very clean and professional manner.

Caleb took care of my issue with a mouse. He explained what he was going to do and did it. He even lugged my shop vac up my attic stairs for me so that I could clean the area and lugged it back down. Scott was very helpful. He did a complete review of the specific issues at my house and property. He walked me through all of the technical issues and options and fully explained the costs involved. After we agreed to a path forward he implemented the work thoroughly and quickly. Furthemore he organized a followup another group to review the existing insulation which has been compromised by the rodent invasion. I expect them to show up tommorrow due the severity of the damage. Scott said he would speak to the other group this evening to pass on all of the information he obtained from his investigation and his remediation.

As an experienced homeowner, one thing I learned is that insects and rodents want to live in our home as much as us. Last week I noticed a hornet nest under a corner eve. Because Orkin performs regular visits I was able to wait until an Orkin service person arrived to remove the threat. With due diligence and many service visits, infestations can be eliminated before they become major problems.

We had a major carpenter ant infestation on one of the walls in the garage. After tearing apart the wall and remediating it , we wanted to have a pest control interaction done to prevent this in future. So contacted Orkins, they scheduled this quickly. The initial visit was done and he sprayed the insecticide all round the house and placed traps in the house as well. After a day, instead of ant, the trap found a small mouse trapped, which was a surprise as we never knew about this. We called Orkins as this was after the contract was signed, they came in promptly the next day. The tech reviewed the site and found no major infestation but only in the place where the small mouse was found, which could have been one run off from garage as we had been doing some construction and contractors were constantly opening and closing the garage door to enter the house. Anyways he placed the trap for mouse as well and reviewed all other corners in the house including attic. we were quite pleased with the service. This is expensive but worth the expense to have piece of mind to know that we have someone to be contacted for any pest in the house.

Technician Alex Soriano went above and beyond in helping us diagnose and treat our pest problem. That said, the team at the hub office was reluctant to send him (or anyone) out to our home in the first place, because our problem was not one where they thought we'd end up signing on for recurring service - which is where Orkin makes their money. Still, Alex was a consummate professional if only for a single visit, and I would recommend him to anyone - if you can get the office to send him your way!

Mr. Vega #1489900 was very thorough down to wearing his plastic gloves to lay down the traps. He didn’t leave a room or place uncovered. I'd be happy to give 5 stars if our problem with fleas we had inherited from former tenants is actually solved but in not so sure since the tech came to do a follow up which took 2 minutes at the most shining a flashlight in a few places. That to me is not a follow up on a severe issue. My cat and dog were treated and wearing flea collars but the dog has been licking like crazy her stomach is raw and I have a cone on her. Is that protocol? 90 seconds with a flashlight to find nearly microscopic bugs? The apartment next door had the fleas.. orkin sprayed here but the landlord chose to not spray the originally heavily infested side. ... that I'm concerned with and expected an actual follow up. As I said happy to give 5 stars and will change my review if they are really gone. But if they are not, do we receive another visit?

Had to call them once to take care of hornets nest. The first time they came they didn't take care of the problem right. Then getting them to come again was slow. Finally they took care of it. But also it wasn't cheap at all. Overall, not too impressed. Probably will call them again only if I have to.

Did not interact with technician. Inside of home was not checked nor treated. Must've missed him. Service has gotten very expensive. $145 per quarter is pricey. Not much bang for the buck, unfortunately. I may be looking at locally sourced pest control companies as an alternative.

Too expensive for what he did, 300.00 and the kicker was we had to supply the garbage bags. The rep was nice enough. But for what he did not worth what we where charged. Buyer beware. These where at shoulder height in a tree.

Had a football sized wasp nest growing in the wall that was removed for a fairly good price. However, I asked them to remove some larvae filled comb that was left and I found it still there after I came back later to clean up. I would've had them come back out to do it but I just removed it myself since it was all dead at least. Otherwise, I'd have rotting hive in the wall for god knows how long. Good job with killing them all, but poor job cleaning it out.
