I tried a couple of other pest control companies and did not get a call back. Scott at Orkin called me the same day I put in my request and made an appointment within a few days to check out our bed bug problem. He was very knowledgeable and let us know our options on getting rid of them. We chose the heat option. They arrived an hour earlier than scheduled and got to work. Scott was amazing! And his partner also. Very kind, professional and thorough. They guarantee their work for 30 days and follow up after a week. So far we have noticed no bed bugs. I am so thankful to them and will definitely use them again for my pest control needs.

We have had them treat multiple times for ants, and we still get ants every do often like clockwork. Their treatments are very temporary, and they tend to leave a mess behind with the way they treat for ants. Whatever they are using for a perimeter spray around the house to keep spiders and bugs out is killing the grass, and I'm worried about the safety of my dog being around it.

I have a terrible fly problem. They are small flies but I have hundreds of them on my patio. The Orkin employee came and assessed the problem and said he would do all he could to get rid of them! My initial request was to get rid of a very busy gopher in my yard. Arrived well within the time the Tech said he would and got right down to business. The exterminator, she was so thorough and stayed such a long time to get everything even to bees nests in the shed. Made an appointment through the call center. Representative said that they would be out in the afternoon the next day. They never showed. Called local office to see what was up and they said they never go the communication from call center. I called orkin to start new services because my previous pest company had communication issues. Made new appointment with orkin so I guess we will see if they can pull it together. The day before the appointment I received two phone calls. The first one was to let me know the 2 hour window the techs would be out and that was great. The second call was a reassurance call that I had made the right choice in choosing Orkin and apologies about the communication from the call center and that was impressive. I received a call the morning of the service from the regional manager Kyle letting me know that he and another tech that he was training and who was going to be our service tech going forward would be here in 30 minutes. I apologize for not remembering the new techs name. The visit when extremely well. They listen to my concerns about other companies and assured me that they will take steps to communicate and provide great customer service. They then listen to me about my pest problems and put a plan in place. Other than the issue with the call center that I don't recommend calling, the experience from when I made the second appointment to the end of the service call was great! I'm glad I made the second appointment and feel like I will be taken care of.

The results of this visit are the continuation of lack of visible rodent activity on my property. When Orkin was hired in the first place there were gopher burrows and holes across my back yard. Since my contract began, the critters have abandoned my yard and my yard is rodent-free. There is vacant land beyond my fence, and it usually has rodent mounds beginning around this time, but Orkin has kept them out of my property! Thank you Orkin!

I had an infection of Elm seed bugs and Earwigs. First they came on time inspected the house. Had an honest analysis of the situation and proposed several plans. I chose a 1 time treatment that included treating for elm bugs, earwigs, and removing hornets nests and spiders. At service day. I received a call as expected. The service took more or less 1 hour. He explained to me the procedure and inspected the house again. Over all I highly recommend this company. Very nice stuff and very professional, nor pushy, fair and worthwhile.

We have used Orkin for the last 3 years for our quarterly bug spray and to treat termites we found on our property the 1st year we lived here. Great job on the termite and the bug spraying started good but the last year not so much. Had to call after every service to have them come back to spray our shop and sweep the cobwebs, which was included in our package. We have cameras around our property so we could see that he was never spraying our shop or sweeping even after we called for them to come out a 2nd time. We have since cancelled our quarterly treatment. In regards to our annual termite inspection we prepaid for the service in Oct and it took 3 phone calls and 2 months for them to come out and do the inspection. I have contacted Orkin several times and the office staff has always been great and responsive. Only so much they can do. We are keeping them for the termite treatment as it is a 10 year service and we haven't found anyone that treats for termites as well as they do, yet. Everyone is super nice but their services are lacking.

I have had carpenter ants in the past. They don't go away if you spray several times on one year. They probably won't go away unless you have treatments several times every year. The carpenter ants were actually eating my house! Professional treatment is absolutely a must. Orkin treats my house several times each year. Orkin has always done a wonderful job. As long as I have Orkin, I don't have carpenter ants eating my house.

I got a reminder call the day before. On the day of, they called to let me know that they were at the stop before mine, so they would be arriving shortly. They were on time, a little early even. They talked to me for a minute about what was happening to confirm we were on the same page, and offered to answer any questions. I had to leave, so I let them do their thing (only outside stuff) while I was gone. When I got back, they had already finished and left. Things looked great (they removed cobwebs and stuff). 1 day later, there are noticeably less bugs inside the house. No complaints.

Had a mouse in the attic and Kyle came out the same day we called. Crawled up in the attack to check and set a trap. Very professional, responsive, and helpful. Knows his stuff. We will be using Orkin for pest control because Kyle was so helpful. He’ll send the techs to do the rest of the work but he got on it right then. Peace of mind for us! Review updated: since we had a good experience with mouse removal, we now also use airline for year round pest control. Each quarter they spray for bugs. Safe for our dog and cat and very nice and professional technicians. I recommend them for big and rodent control.

The technician was very nice, but he seemed rushed and did not take the necessary time to ensure we got thorough treatment. I don't think the service provides value for the price; a ten minute spray of the perimeter of the home for over $100 is just a rip off. The rep did not explain what he was doing. We had a treatment previously and are still having issues with the pests. We were contacted by the company to resolve the situation after posting this review. Update: The manager came two weeks later and did a very thorough inspection and treatment. He sprayed areas that were missed initially like window jams and exterior of windows. Much happier now that it was addressed.

We were very pleased. We have had a problem this year with ants bothering our horses. They keep coming around the barn and the arena and we can't seem t get rid of them. The technician walked the barn and the house area, about 4 acres and found several nests which he treated as well as spraying around the barn, the corrals, and the arena. He also treated a huge wasps nest that we could not reach and another we didn't know about in the barn. All for $175. A bargain. When he finished, he reported back on what he found and what he had done. He was very pleasant and polite. Definitely a five star experience. We asked them to come back on 30 days for a second treatment because these ants have been stubborn.

So.. other than these concerns, I have to say at least the product does work very well. And if you feel they need to come back and touch up some areas, they do it at no cost to you. I just spent about 20 minutes & lost all the comments. Will be briefer this time. We had bed bug problems so chose the heat treatment which appears to be the only way to kill the "critters". Pleasant southern personality. He is a keeper. The guys had a grueling job. Don't know how they do it. Arrived promptly at the scheduled time of 8 AM & took them 13 hours to get the process completely. The were very thorough. Things were in disarray which we weren't expecting. Thought there would be more organization. Feel the client should be apprised of this. Also, have had a tough time w/ the white powder spread (sprinkled) along the baseboards. Can't figure how it ended up all over the furniture in the living room, family room & basement. It does not just wipe off. Has to be vacuumed & then wiped. Very time consuming. It appears to be oily & wonder how that will eventually affect the fabric on some of the furniture. We were told it would be sprinkled along the baseboards. Do not know how it ended up on the furniture. Maybe attention should be paid to that aspect of things. It was a process we knew we needed to do & are dealing positively w/ the cleanup process. Have gotten rid of a lot of things & donated a lot to the local WICAP business. This must be our precursor to moving. It will be easier when we do that. Thank you.
