Luis Irizarry did an excellent job examine termite activities for my house. He not only looked outside, but also went into my crawl space. He answered all my questions with patient and even put on shoe protections without me asking. He went above and beyond, when I had an additional question that he couldn’t answer on the spot, he took the time to find out the answer and contacted me afterwards. So this 5 star is specifically for him! I do want to note that on my second day, they sent a tech to do the actual installation for the termite service. The girl seems to be in a hurry and got impatient when I asked questions and raised concern regarding how many stations should be put around my house.

We’ve been very pleased with Miche Pest Control’s service. My son inadvertently disturbed a yellow jacket nest in the wooded area of our property and he and his friend were stung over 24 times each. We were not certain of the exact location of the nest, but we gave the Miche technician our best guess and he was able to locate and get rid of the nest. He also volunteered to come back in a few days to make sure the yellow jackets are completely gone. He also let us know that he spotted a copperhead sunning itself on a log on our property and cautioned us to be very careful. We appreciate the conscientious and thorough service we received.

Please note this review is for the specific technician, Xavier, that treated my home today and not the company as a whole. Xavier was excellent at communicating his arrival time and thoroughly examined the issues I've been having with carpenter bees nesting in the wood in the exterior structure outside my home. He pointed out that the bees had been nesting under my deck and my previous pest control company and previous Miche technicians missed the mark on that one. In addition to his thorough inspection, he also listened to and rectified an administrative customer issue for me that the company had assured me was fixed. He was patient and went above my customer service expectations. As for Miche Pest Control, their administrative process, sales, and main customer service points of contacts are disorganized and what I initially signed up for was not honored and I ended up paying additional fees for service that were promised to me during the sales pitch. I will not be renewing with them when my contract ends, that's if the original terms of my contract are honored. However, Xavier was fantastic today and a true professional! Xavier gets a 5 star rating but the company zero stars!

Miche Pest Control is a locally owned full service pest company based in Virginia, with offices around the beltway. Their prices are slightly higher than what you'll pay a national brand like Orkin. However this is more than made up for in availability, transparency and a caring attitude. I highly recommend them.

Service: Initial General Extermination. This was Miche Pest Control's first visit to our home, less than 24 hours after signing up with their service! Although I missed it, I received a text first, letting me know that he (Orlando) was on his way! Orlando was very professional and courteous the entire time; very patient with any questions that I had and answered very thoroughly. He did a thorough 'cleaning' of the front and back yard and appeared to be hitting all the possible trouble areas for any pests. He spent a good amount of time doing his job; didn't seem to rush through the yard like our previous company. After Orlando was done, he made sure to let me know and gave me the chance to ask any other questions before he left. For their first visit, I was very, very pleased with the service and highly recommend!

Today’s service (3/11/22( went well. Two (2) silver traps were removed. No activity. Only 3 baited traps remain. One in garage and two outside. No activity except for one exterior trap. Just a small nibble. Looks like our interior issue is totally resolved and the external one is at 95% resolution rate. Today’s technician was definitely one of the better one. He provided outstanding customer service!!! Today’s (1/25) service was a follow up to the service that was supposed to happen on 1/22. Same technician (Orlando) said he came here on Saturday. We were home and looking out the window and available to provide interior and backyard access all Saturday morning. If this support was all that we received I would not have favorable comments about Miche. I think the service is pricey however, up to Saturday, I justified the cost based upon the quality of service and customer support. Fortunately, the previous technicians were excellent and provided outstanding service. I was surprised that Orlando was the tech sent today after I complained about him on Saturday. I hope that Orlando is never sent back. He was respectful though.

Darin Freeman was the technician that came out to provide service. He was absolutely phenomenal! My wife and I experienced a couple of mice sightings right before the holiday. We called before Thanksgiving and Miche was able to get us on the books for the next available business day, which was Monday. Darin came out and inspected everything, and listened to us very carefully. He then educated us on why we may be getting mice, and how they function. He closed up all areas and inspected for any missed holes. He provided us with a number of sticky traps to help. Darin was the epitome of customer service. If I should have any future pest problems, I will be asking for Darin by name.

Another company I won't name came and plugged up some holes, but they kept coming. These two men may have found the problem. If they didn't find all the problems, that remains to be seen, but they found several significant entry points the other company missed. 2/5 Stars - Our technician Antwan was on time and friendly. He provided the first service at our new town home. Unfortunately, in his haste, he sprayed over power cords and our Fios ONT box in our garage, knocking out our fiber connection. Some boxes along the inside of our garage also soaked with chemicals (as we just moved in 3 weeks ago). Hoping that this isn't a regular thing and that quality of service can be improved! Update after 24 hours - 5 Stars for Customer Service - I understand that accidents happen, and Miche Pest Control provided a positive customer experience after handling my concerns.

I am over the top happy with Miche Pest Control. I was having an issue with spiders inside and outside along with mice and voles in the backyard. Since their initial treatment, most of the issues have gone away. We have had a few spiders return (what can you do when it's outside) and it only takes a phone call and a serviceman comes back out to treat the problem. It has been 4 months since the initial treatment and I have not seen as much as a spider or bug inside. The usual spring ant invasion didn't happen. I was initially skeptical because they came to the door to convince me to let them do my service, but I could not be happier. Since the mouse/vole issue (I was trapped in the shed by a mouse at the door), I finally trust going in the backyard again.

I was in pest control for six years, and I'm happy to have Kelsey come to our home for services, anytime, and thrilled with the way that Miché Pest Control handles our account, service, and its business: if my experience is representative of normal business. They followed through with their promise of the sweeping of the eaves, treatment for ants with a granular product around the home, and the liquid treatment of the foundation and entry points. She also used a long lasting dust product around the exterior, where lights or utility lines breached the siding. I was very impressed. I highly recommend this service to any who are looking for a local, family owned alternative to the national and international corporate names in pest control.
