We have used their services for years. If we missed a service or went too long, the bugs come back in force. There is an undeniable difference when we have had our home and property treated. Their treatment always works very well. They will also come back out and treat again if there are any straggler bugs. I also love their weed treatments. We have a great looking yard thanks to them, even with all the rain! I highly recommend! Their technicians are always so helpful, friendly, and go the extra mile. The two techs I am most fond of are Josh and Thomas. They understand the quality I expect for each bi-monthly spray. They spray every corner and along every baseboard in my home to ensure the best quality solution to keeping bugs out. They are also very polite, and quick at performing their duties.This is possible because before each visit, I as the customer, also take the responsibility to move all furniture away from the walls, and move all objects off the floor in the closets, bathrooms, and everywhere else that I know may be an obstacle that the tech needs to get around. This ensures that both I and the tech do our jobs to ensure a quality experience working together with a quality solution provided to keeping bugs out. Thank you Josh and Thomas, you both rock 🙌!

This five star is strictly based on their techs who come out. One in particular named Josh (photo is with pet snake) is the reason we stayed with this company. He has helped fit us into his schedule. He is always kind to us, our kids and our dogs. Even when one of our dogs is a jumper. This last time he even came with personalized Christmas cards from his family to ours. There is another tech also named Josh who is great as well. Good service is hard to find. Kudos and holiday bonuses to these ppl!!

I feared I had termites last April May and I was relieved when they allowed me to send in pictures of the little critters and identify that in fact they were ants. I signed up for one year every other month and I’ve been very happy with their service. I like that the pesticides are not harmful to pets and children or even to me as an adult. I have used Preventive Pest Control since the last 1990's early 2000's. In this I have had many of their products applied to my properties This company has always met every need and concern that I have expressed. My fees have only changed if I were to upgrade a service and they even transfered my services to a new home when I moved at no extra charge. I have never incountered any type of infestation of bugs or rodents, only an occasional bug or mouse but only on the exterior of both of my homes. And that is usually after a heavy rain. I only have to call and they are here within a couple of days. Their office staff is class "A" and their technicians are on time and very friendly and knowledgeable in the field. I hope This company is around for another 25 years.

We is the quarterly subscription and it is always on time professional and has gotten the job done better than any pest control product from the hardware store. This is an excellent local company that I trust which stands by its service and will reservice your property free of charge if they do not meet the (reasonably) expected outcome. My household has contracted with the company for person control and weed control for nearly two years, and we are extremely satisfied with their professionalism and quality. The weed service is impeccable. The pest service will kill the infamous Albuquerque roaches easily, though it does not seem to be as effective on spiders and ants. Nonetheless, we would be worse off without it.

John has come out the last couple times and has been amazing. He's friendly and personable but Also makes sure the job gets done. He was thorough and took care of all our pest problems. He even came back and got on the roof when we had hornets coming in our sky light. He was out not even a month before and everything looked good. Until a bunch of hornets decided to build a nest close to our skylight and take frequent trips isde. They got out here quick to take care of it. And it was covered under the warranty. Would definitely recommend John to everyone.

I've used PPC for over 20 years, first for pest control and later for pre-emergent weed control. They have always been very responsive when I needed a retreatment, due to ants or weeds showing up. I've had two2 issues with pre-emergent overspray killing my grass, first the perimeter, after which they replaced the grass and added notes to my service orders, informing the service techs to use the backpack sprayer, rather than the truck-mounted hose, for more focused application. They do have a policy to not spray within three3 feet of vegetation you don't want affected, however I have a 3-foot rock border, between my flower bed and my grass, which tends to attract weeds, thus the service order notes. This worked for around 3 years, until a recent pre-emergent application was done, and the service notes were missed by the tech, resulting in overspray killing a large area of my grass, which did not recover, showing how well the pre-emergent works. After an initial disagreement over what had happened, PPC assigned a customer service manager who resolved the issue immediately, replacing the dead grass and providing a reminder to the techs to follow the service order notes. I am a very satisfied customer and recommend PPC to anyone asking for the services they provide.

I was at home when the technician came by. He asked if I was having any issues and I mentioned that I was starting to see ants in the kitchen. He sprayed inside and out, showed me where the colonies were outside and left bait traps for the kitchen. If I'm still seeing ants after 2 weeks I can call them back and they'll respray at no charge. I recently had an unfortunate incident when my condominium porches were sprayed by PPC under contract with my HOA. Because of health conditions for both myself and my pet, I did not want to be sprayed. This was not PPC’s error insomuch as we were not advised of the planned spraying by our property manager. As a result I had to dispose of a brand new outdoor rug that got insecticide on it, creating truly serious health risks for my dog and me. The commercial division of PPC was incredibly kind and compassionate, reimbursing me for my new replacement rug and adding my unit to the Do Not Spray list. I don’t know many commercial vendors these days that will take such pains to keep their clients and customers happy. Hats off to Mike and his team for going the extra mile for me. I’ve never been in this kind of position and certainly have never had it handled so gracefully. I am very appreciative!

I thought when we got cockroaches 4 years ago we were stuck with them for life since our apartments wouldn't do anything about the horrid infestation. We just bought a house a few months ago and thought we cleaned and trashed every infested item but they still came with us. It has been 2 weeks since they sprayed the first time and it's like seeing a light at the end of a tunnel. Hundreds dead everywhere, I didn't even think we brought this many but gone are the days of fighting roaches off my food while I try to cook or eat! They go above and beyond every time including driving all the way back to my house when I failed to be there on time to bring my dogs inside. They also take notes on what matters to me. It's been 3 weeks since our initial treatment and we're still seeing spiders around the outer perimeter of our home. Part of their service is the ability of them to return and repeat the treatment if we still see bugs. Well, I called (albeit after hours) and left a voicemail stating that we still had bugs and to please contact me to arrange a follow up treatment. That was a week ago and I still haven't heard from them. I also don't like their very one sided contract that essentially ropes me into keeping them for a year. At this point I would be hard pressed to recommend them. The only reason they're not a 2 star rating is because our technician was a nice guy.

When I moved to New Mexico, I didn’t realize how serious the cockroaches could be. I had never dealt with them before so I was really freaked out and called PPC and the girl who answered I think could hear the distress in my voice and got someone out within 24 hours to do my first service. I was still struggling with some roaches after my first service which I expected because the place had never been treated. I called back to schedule a follow up based on the remaining issues and they got me Scheduled right away. Just had my second service and am already feeling a sigh of relief. Both service guys were so soft spoken and calm, made me feel so much better and both explained exactly what kind of timeframes to expect activity and cockroach death and what to do if the problem persisted. As a female home alone sometimes, have a male in the house can feel scary but honestly I felt so safe and comfortable around both service guys they sent out. Every time I’ve called the office, the people are super nice and never sound stressed and genuinely sound like they care that I get help with roaches. I've been using PPC for over 25 years at my home. I've only needed interior treatment for ants 2 or 3 times and not for at least 3 years. I started noticing small ants in my kitchen yesterday and was lucky I already had a service visit scheduled for today. 2 techs came and spent more time outside than I can ever remember, as the usual visits are less than 10 minutes. I was impressed with the attention to detail outside, followed by an inside treatment, blowing the non-poisonous powder into the walls, to hopefully take care of the ants. When the new tech spilled the powder in the kitchen, the senior tech did an ok job cleaning up, using wipes, however I now have a light haze on my bamboo wood floors I will need to address. I think a small cordless vacuum would be a good addition to the service vehicle, as the powder would have been quickly removed without any residue. I do appreciate the attempt to clean up the mess and the politeness of both techs.

Honestly, at first, I was not very happy with Preventive Pest Control. Each time they came to spray, I felt as if they rushed to do their job and were not thorough. Also, after each spray, there were so many sugar ants and centipedes and strange, huge, weird black spiders. They were all over the house! I was told that the first two sprayings this would happen, but then later it would get better. Well… it didn’t! So this Thursday Sean from Preventive Pest Control came to spray. I told him how disappointed I was with the company and how the guys before him always were in a rush to do their job, especially for what I pay. He was very kind and listened to my complaints. Then he explained how they only have so much time for every home they spray. He must have seen how frustrated I was and said he would do extra thoroughly work. He grabbed his shovel and found three huge colonies of ants! He sprayed the heck out of each colony and also saw the source of what was bringing them. My neighbor has a fruit tree that these ants love. UHG!!!! I REALLY was happy with Sean. He came into the house and sprayed every corner of the house, both inside and out. I have been a customer of Preventive Pest Control for several years and use their pest and weed services. I have never felt compelled to write a review until now. This summer we've experienced an ant invasion in our backyard. We have lived in this house for 20 years and have never seen this ant activity before. It made grilling and sitting outside unpleasant. I used various ant powders and bait I purchased online and at home stores and nothing worked. Preventive Pest Control's technician came out last Saturday and since the service, the ants are gone. I've been having my house sprayed for bugs through Preventive since July 2019, and we haven't had any issues. Recently we replaced our carpet with wood flooring, and while ripping up the carpet, there were no dead bugs to be seen. Overall, I've been very happy with my service over the years I've had it. They are very good about rescheduling service dates if necessary and making additional visits if needed. The price for their service is very reasonable as compared to other businesses. My only complaints are that the text messaging system they had previously led to some misunderstanding about actual service dates and times. But it appears that they have modified this. Only other complaint is how they dealt with a issue I had with mice. They would only put out snap traps that were not safe for my pets or the pets of my neighbors, since the traps could blow off of the walls and a pet could set it off. Overall though, I've been very pleased to deal with Preventive Pest for years now.

I had ants in the kitchen which prompted me to call Preventive, about 2 years ago, and I haven't had any pest problems since. Any time between services there have been any pests I just call them and they send someone out with no problems. Everyone that has been to my house has been very helpful and friendly. They made some suggestions as to how to help keep pests from entering my house, which I followed, and so far so good. This last service visit Nate came out. He noticed that I had some weeds in the front yard and suggested their weed control program. I was very hesitant, as I usually pull the weeds, and call it a day. Nate assured me that their weed control is a game changer. After a bit of Q&A, I went ahead and told him to sign me up for the weed service, which is very reasonably priced. I figure the time, sweat, and back aches that I will save, will be more than worth the money. As I have just had the weed service done, I can't say one way or the other as to how well it works, but Nate says he vouches for it not because he works there, but because he has seen the results. He said give it a week, the weeds will die and be ready to rake up, and if anything springs up, they will come out and spray again. I will have to write a follow up review once I see the results, but I am confident it will work just as they said their pest prevention would. 7 day follow-up - The weeds are definitely dead, although I could not rake them up unfortunately. A very few came up with the rake but not nearly enough. That being said, the weeds did pull up easily, which was a pleasant surprise. I will follow-up in the future as to how well it controls the weeds, but my guess is that there won't be any. Thanks again to Nate for talking me into this service, as I believe this will be the last time I have to pull weeds! *the weeds in the lower right corner of the pictures are in my neighbor's yard (they are not dead.

My family had a real problem with ants and roaches entering our house for years, but none of the services I tried could get rid of them. This included Terminix, from whom I got a refund due to a lack of results. We also tried to get rid of them ourselves with no luck. Finally, I decided to do better research and try a company with good online reviews. I'm so glad I did! There hasn't been a roach all year and the ants were gone too, which at this point seems like a major miracle! There have been two very small recurrences of a few ants getting in, but they promptly came over free of charge to retreat and that took care of the problem. We used to be with Preventive Pest a couple years back and the service was excellent! We never had issues with ants or roaches when we were here at home to let them spray all areas; However we did haveissues with the scheduling because they would show up whenever they wanted and would miss the back yard (then the roaches would come) and would have to schedule a time frame and then not show during the time frame. We left Preventive, went with another company but would constantly have to supplement with spray ourselves and decided to go back to Preventive. So far, they've been more than helpful to make sure scheduling issues are resolved and after the first spray, we did have a huge trail of ants a few days later but, I called them and they sent out a technician that day and he took care of the issue. So far, I'm happy and am ant, wasp and roach free!

Update: Chesly, the GM, got back with me about the charges and said he would remove the erroneous billing them from my account. I have updated the review from 1 star to 5 star to reflect this customer service action and the original good trapping work they did. Original review below: PPC attempted to trap some skunks on our property. I pre-paid for them to set the traps and even provided bait for them. The traps did not catch the skunks so they came back on my property without permission to retrieve the empty traps. They then billed me a disposal fee even though they did not catch any of the wildlife. I was not told this during discussions and it was not in the contract. The technician even confided that their billing practices were confusing and makes many customers upset. Be very careful with PPC, they are not forthright or honest with their billing processes.

I am new to Albuquerque and this company saved my sanity! I am not used to cockroaches or ants in my house so I reached out to a few companies for pricing and they were outrageous. I decided to give it one last try and I found Lady Bug. I reached out to them online for a quote and I received a call back the next day. This was on a Thursday and I had a gentleman at my house on Saturday. The gentleman that came to my house was very professional and friendly and did a great job explaining all of the bug stuff (most of it I won't remember but it was helpful to understand why I have such an issue)! The day after he sprayed I was finding multiple dead cockroaches and other bugs (don't want to know what they were), laying around my back yard. I have not seen a single ant, cockroach, or spider in my house (or outside) since then! I highly recommend this company. They are fantastic!!!

I looked up on Angie’slist for a pest control provider because I needed to get a yearly spraying inside and out. Angie’slist sent me the names of three high rated providers. I contacted Preventative and they set up a time for two days from the date I called. They told me the time the pest control specialist, Michael Lujan, would arrive and how much it would cost. It was a reasonable price. The specialist showed up at the designated time, explained to me what he would be doing and then went about spraying. He was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The specialist sprayed for almost a hour or so (he even put a small, clear container near the sink which would take care of any ants. I paid the bill that had been quoted to me earlier, and he went to his next job. So far, so good. I haven’t seen anything inside and only have seen a couple dead roaches outside on the back porch. I will hire again.

We have been using PPC for almost 20 years. We live in an historic neighborhood where the roaches are prolific. We only have them spray outside (not on the windows cause it dirties them with spots). We ask them to spray a barrier along the alley since the beautiful tree lined street behind us has even more roaches that try to visit us. I ask them to spray into the hollow end where my neighbor's cinder brick yard wall butts up against our wall since roaches love that spot. They never spray if we are not home to lock up our dogs. They often call to schedule and occasionally show up. We are always happy to see them. They come once every two months. They have sprayed bushes that got attacked by beetles. They used to put granules in the lawn for insects but we asked them not to. We rather not poison the birds that eat those bugs. They have stopped ant problems, mice problems and roaches that came up a seldom used bath tub drain. They have done early sprayings when needed (usually if a gully washer came after they sprayed and undid their work). They have done all this never with additional charges. Always prompt and courteous. Don't think using pest control means you will never see a roach. We do see roaches. Dead Ones! We wish they could spray every house in our neighborhood!

Alan did the pest inspection for my condo purchase, and I was blown away by the thoroughness of the report. Most pest inspectors walk around, barely look, charge you $100, and write nothing but a slip of paper. Alan wrote a detailed report with photos, found several issues to note (luckily nothing major) and even looked for other visible damage on the property, and basically wrote up half of a full home inspection! (which, if you do together through Zsako, you get a discount!) Their combined reports helped me gain significant concessions from the seller. Don't use anyone else for a home purchase. This is the only pest inspector I've used that's worth paying for.

These are not just glowing comments about their performance, these are FACTS ! I did have problems with ants in my kitchen, den and a bathroom. Food was involved with two of them. In each case, a technician came to my house . They identified the ants, explained to me how they work and then set up a treatment in each case, which eliminated the problem.
