We purchased our home 3 years ago, immediately started extermination services with Pest Defense as we saw their truck at the neighbors doing his service and love that we made a great choice. The service person assigned to me called me early. They were supposed to come after 5. When he called I told him and he was very nice and said he could wait and that he wasn't busy. I told him I was getting out early by chance and would meet him at 12:30. When he hadn't shown up. I called him and he said he made a mistake on the address. He rushed over and cometwd everything. I was impressed that even though there were a few issues, he kept his cool and did his job. Afterwards, he explained what he did. He was very professional and it turned into a good experience.

I was home so that wasOK, I explained that he was o do the rocks for any infestation, after a few minutes I went out to open the garage so that could be sprayed but he was gone. The roach problem was simple to cure once we realized they were coming up the drain in the guest shower - no ones used it in almost a year! Good tips on how to handle these issues and the Co. did their own inspection with recommendations on how to deal with the issues. We’re more than satisfied with their assistance in controlling the problem.

Pest Defense Solutions were the only ones in town who were able to get rid of our ant problem. We'd used the big name guys and the small, no one had been able to get rid of the sugar ants, but then I called and talked to Justin and he came by the house, treated the inside and outside and we've been ant-free for over two years!! These guys are personable and all the crews do a phenomenal job. Most exterminators only spray a thin bead but Pest Defense makes sure that anything with more than 2 legs isn't coming to your door. We've been REALLY happy with Pest Defense. Their exterminators are always dressed professionally, and they're very helpful and respectful. They come when they're supposed to, and they get the job done. They beat the (ever-increasing) price of the big-name pest control company, and they haven't increased our price in the YEARS that we've been with them. If we see bugs in between services (which is rare), we just call and they come back for free, usually within a day or two. We have been using this service for the last 3 years. They come every other month to spray and keep the ants and cockroches out of our home. Recently, we had a huge amount of ants inside, and although they were not swarming on food, they seemed to be everywhere, all the time. Pest defense came out multiple times (all included, no additional charge) and finally found the ant home under the rocks in our front yard, and the trail tunneling under our home and coming up into a closet. He worked very hard on a very hot day for nearly 30 min to get rid of that huge colony, and we haven't had an ant inside since. We experienced, like many places in Albuquerque, a large increase of black widow spiders this year, 2014. Considering having pets and my penchant for working in the garden, we felt we needed to have someone come over and spray. We called Pest Defense and Garrett Sego came over to our home and assessed the situation. We decided to go for a one time treatment and were very happy with the results. The spray itself was pet friendly but we opted to keep the dogs and cat in the house until the spray dried. Garrett and his crew really noticed our black widow webs and spent extra time spraying rock beds and under the eaves. We'll call again whenever we need this kind of service.

My husband and I were afraid that we had termites, carpenter ants, or some other home-destroying pest. I called Pest Defense Solutions and actually got a human being on the line right away. She was pleasant and arranged for Garrett Sego to come out within the hour. Garret was also pleasant and professional. After thoroughly checking out the problem, he determined that it was not a pest problem and gave a plausible alternate explanation for what we were seeing. Garret did not charge for his time, since he did not do any treatment and said he was on his way back to the office anyway. We will be sure to call Pest Defense Solutions if/when we have problems with bugs or other pests in the future.
