This is my local Planet Fitness. I enjoy going here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is normally pretty clean. They make sure to keep sanitation items readily available. They have a variety of cardio machines, weight machines, free weights, body weight only exercise area and much more. Other gyms in the area will run you upwards of $50. You can get a standard membership here for around $10 or an upgraded black card for around $20 or so. You have use of their TV or audio while there. They have nice bathroom and shower facilities. You are able to tan and use the massage beds with an upgraded membership. Also, you get discounts on drinks and snack items. A few times a month they will give out free food. Pizza, donuts, bagels, or the like. They have a personal trainer you can meet with for free. There are also classes. My only complaint here would be how frequently certain equipment is not useable, and how long it takes to get a repaired. That may be beyond their control. Also, occasionally ladies bathroom facilities experience some issues, but nothing serious.

Nice pf. The showers had good pressure and hot water. Changing area had a chair but no hook for backpack. Lots of open equipment and a great clock that showed the minute in dotted lights around the outside that was visible everywhere. Nice number controlled lockers and good spacing of equipment. Also had monkey bar section in 360 area which is an extra.

I am enjoying the variety of options available as far as equipment goes. And all 5 times I have been there, it has not been super busy. They also ran a special for a free Amazon Halo wristband when I signed up, and I'm very happy with it, too.

You won't find a better value, or more affordable gym membership anywhere. Unless you're a hard core bodybuilder, power lifter, or competitor, this is the place for you. Although PF provides mostly machines, there are 2 sets of dumbbells from 5lbs. to about 100lbs. There are 3 Smith machines with benches, a rack of fixed free weights up to 60lbs., and 4 benches in the dumbbell section. There is a plethora of weight machines, treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes available. The staff is friendly and hardworking, and the facility is cleaned 2 or 3 times daily. This is a remarkable value at 10.00 per month for a basic membership.

This planet fintness was okay, but as always I feel like they get that yearly member fee added real quick on peoples accounts. Honestly it’s a good cheap gym and what else could you ask for. It tends to fill up with people from time to time but what gym doesnt. Employees could seem more enthusiastic, but maybe wages aren’t fair enough for them. I would come back most likely.

Clean gym, staff is nice for the most part. They do have a age limit but they usually let underage kids in even when they have rules for nobody under 13 and they take up machines and play on them. Last time I was their they were 2 kids maybe 9 and 10 on treadmills and almost got hurt and adults couldn't work out because they were all over playing.

When they say Judgement free zone they mean it! I don't feel so anxiety filled when I step in there. I am treated as if we've been friends for ages and they want to see me succeed. I've not been going there long but I am planning to go there for awhile.

I love the gym PF in general. I think their set up is great, equipment, everything. This location however is one of the worst I've been too. I've asked to have my home gym moved to a different location at least a dozen times to no avail. The hydro beds are not the cleanest, nor are the tanning beds. The GM here on Friday's is completely cold and not at all customer friendly. When having a billing issue he actually wanted to go through my entire bank statement instead of just looking at PFs billing! I still love PF but I'll be much happier when my home gym is the location I want it to be.

I was very happy when an affordable gym opened near me. I have not been disappointed and have been a member since. The front desk staff is friendly but in all honesty what keeps me going back to this gym is the personal trainer Andrew. I have been working with him now for some time and could not recommend a better trainer. He has stuck with me and kept me motivated on my entire journey. From injury, through the surgery and the tremendous task of losing all the weight. When I started working out with him I weighed well over three hundred pounds. Today I bounce between 155 and 165. He knows when to push and when extra motivation is needed. He keeps things fun and is always positive. The workouts are always great and new things are added to keep them challenging. I would not be where I am today without him. He is and always will be my go to person for fitness advice and training. I can honestly not thank or praise his work enough. Go see him. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely love this location and the trainer, Andrew. I started at a different location and recently switched to working out here, it is much better environment. Everyone is always super friendly/helpful, especially Andrew. He has helped take my workout to the next level and is constantly helping improve my technique. Love this place. Visited Wichita for a couple of days for work so I decided to try it. I was welcomed by Kayla super sweet and super professional. She welcomed me to the place, and made me feel like my PF back home. Brandon is also a great guy. Highly recommend this place. Super clean and not cluttered . I'm currently a black card member and I've gone to all the PF locations in the Wichita area. This location is BY FAR the best location in the area. The staff are amazing and the atmosphere is great. The biggest reason why I love this location is the trainer, Andrew. I've dealt with other trainers in the past and Andrew is the absolute best. He's patient and keeps you motivated to reach your goals. He sees your potiental even when you can't. If your feeling like your stuck, he'll get you back up again. This guy is hands down the best trainer I've ever had the privilege of training with. He has a client for life with me. Thank you PF for having a trainer like him. *High five!*

Of the 4 PF locations in Wichita, 31st & Seneca is the BEST! The ENTIRE staff is friendly & the seasoned staff like Ian, Adam, & Alejandro, greet me by name when I check-in. Ian is a terrific manager & has built a great staff. The absolute best part about this gym is the personal trainer, Andrew. He's very knowledgeable, supportive & motivating, and embraces my fitness goals & creates fun/challenging workouts to help me achieve those goals. Wouldn't be where I am today without his help! I have been a member for two years now and started going to the seneca one 1 year ago. The front desk staff is friendly and facility is always clean. I have used Andrew the trainer at the facility for a while and take the PF360 and have had great results. He has helped me learn a lot and advance in my fitness. I have never felt uncomfortable or bothered by him. He is always more than happy to answer questions and always encouraging! Thank you Andrew!

I've been member for year now and I really haven't had any issues, I go early mornings and it's great from the staff to other members that are regulars. Usually the fans are at a high speed and the staff are kind and will turn it down when I ask, the negative thing I'd have to say is the massage chairs seem to be wore out, I tried one for the first time in a while and it wasn't working the way it should, it would also be nice if they would get some balance balls they are great to incorporate in workouts, and would love for the tv "HGTV" was working again.!

I attend this gym every day, love the front desk staff! Clean environment and they're always so friendly! Sarah and Hunter are awesome there! I love this gym more than any other gym, however the trainer on the other hand is a different story. I can't get through a single workout without him interrupting me and always trying to talk to me. Standing on my treadmill while i'm running, following me around the gym constantly, even after I've asked him to stop multiple times. He's made me and many of my friends very uncomfortable there, whether its sexual comments, motions or even just bothering us while were training. I've brought this gym lot of attention because I really do enjoy it, but I know a lot of people that i've got to join wanting to quit because of how he acts. It's very inappropriate and unprofessional. Not to mention, he takes every weight in the entire gym for the leg press so that no on else can use them, then cant even press it! It's absolutely ridiculous. Other than him being a bother, Everyone else at the gym is fantastic!

Thank you, Alejandro for going the extra mile to get my wife and I checked in while we were out of state! My home gym is in Arkansas, and I had forgotten my club card to scan and sign in. Alejandro was quick to solve the issue by calling my home gym and retrieving my information so that I could tan and work out. He was very polite and informative even in the rush of everyone wanting to tan at the same time that he was helping me. He is amazing at multitasking, and I did not feel neglected once. After getting me checked in, he went above and beyond by giving me information about the Planet Fitness App so that I never have to worry about having an issue signing in at any other gym, not only solving my issue here at his location, but also in the future at any other location, as well. I noticed how attentive he was to the tanning beds, as well, making sure each bed was cleaned after every use, even during the rush. This establishment is very clean and very friendly, and a GREAT environment for a positive and productive workout!! I will definitely be visiting again while I am in Wichita!

I love this gym. I've been a member at the Y and Genesis but this has been my favorite, in part because I feel like I belong. The front desk staff have gotten to know me and make me feel welcome. The trainer Andrew is a stand up guy and has been key in my weight loss success. I've lost 45 lbs since starting 4 months ago following his nutrition and exercise guidelines. He promotes loosing body fat by incorporating healthy eating and exercise that will actually keep the weight off! He is very motivating and I actually look forward to working out in the PF360 classes he teaches.

i love my membership for 23 bucks a month me and my hubby wk out 3 times a week which we both work 2nd shift so the 24 hour facilities rock for our schedule i get free tanning which would cost me at least 100 a month 3 times a week alone plus we get hydro massages after evey work out the many locations make it very accessible and the staff is friendly and helpful. love this gym!!

Employees are nice, no one really bothers you while you're working out. Some of the machines, like the leg press and one of the row machines squeak like their cables need to be oiled. Employees are usually cleaning or just standing around the desk. I'm assuming there's not much else to do for them. Women's bathroom only has two available stalls out of 5. Two of the toilets have been out of order for over 7 months. Don't know what the deal is with that. Overall a great place to workout if you don't like it terribly crowded or have high anxiety.

I just wanted to share my appreciation for one very hard-working staff member at the PF on South Seneca. Tristan has always been very kind and courteous and helpful and always professional. Tonight, about 6:30pm, I got up to the counter after my workout so I could do my tanning. I asked for the standup bed eight minutes. I was told it needed cleaned real quick and then I could jump in! There were 3 employees working at the time and one disappeared, I'm guessing on break, one stood with the phone to his ear for approximately 6 minutes while Tristan helped check in and out about 14 people, went to the locker room to help one lady find the right locker with her bag in it, signed one new member up, got 2 people set up on the hydro beds and one other lady set up to tan. I stood there politely waiting for my turn in the tanning bed which would have been about 6 minutes prior except Tristan got so busy handling everything else. Once she was done with all that she looked at me and said, oh my gosh are you still waiting for tanning?!?!? I smiled and said, yep! She was extremely apologetic and went straight to the tanning room, cleaned it while still apologizing for the delay and got me in just a minute later. She never complained or showed any frustration with the situation. I would like to commend her for all of her hard work in handling a position that apparently takes three people to do, unless your name is Tristan- then it only takes 1 person. I hope whoever her manger is, reads this review because she is one hard worker! Just to add to all that, as I was done tanning and started dressing myself a man kept trying to come into my room, I said for the third time someone is in here and once I had my shirt and shorts on I open the door and said hello somebody's in here. He looked just as shocked as I was and said, "oh I'm so sorry she told me number four," and when I got up to the counter the other employee was back from her break still insisting that he go into room four which I had to say loudly, "no that's the room I was just in! Now I'm done!" I think so many times we hear all the negative reviews and so I just wanted to take the time to write a good review about a great staff member at Planet Fitness should be proud to have!

Wish they had more equipment. Pretty limited in the free weight options. If you want to bench press you'll either be using dumbbells or the smith machine. You're definitely getting what you pay for. Basic gym price for a basic gym.

Friendly staff, definitely love coming here for my workouts only thing I’d change is the program with the trainer feels like he takes over the gym when he has his classes and I’m not able to do my full workout. They recently got new row machines and I was told we were allowed to use them but feels like everytime I’m there he just has them for his classes

In 2007 I was in an auto accident. It changed my life forever. My fibromyalgia started showing symptoms along with the beginning of degenerative disc disease due to improper treatment after my accident. In less then 2 months with a personal trainer provide with membership I have accomplished more then physical therapy. Andrew has taken into consideration all my issues and guiding me to build the muscles back that have been weakend due to bigger muscles taking over. I have tried for years through physical therapy to do this. Now with the right guide I'm making big progress to my goal.
