I love coming to Bar Method; I feel amazing after every class and the atmosphere is like a group of friends all encouraging each other during an intense sweat sesh. My body feels better, I feel stronger, and it really becomes an addiction. All of the bar ladies makes sure everyone has a safe and great time....will come forever. ♥️

Let me be clear, I was NOT in shape even a little bit before I came to bar method. I’ve only been here for 3 weeks but I can already see abs coming in and my calves are returning to the glory of my younger days. I can’t wait to see what I can become!
Classes are medium sized but feel very personal. All the instructors know you by name and will correct and challenge you.
Edit: almost one year later and I still can’t say enough good things about this location! There is a real sense of community amongst the members and instructors which helps hold you accountable. In the almost year I’ve been coming here, I’ve lost inches off my waist, hips and thighs and I’m feeling stronger than ever.

I have been taking classes at The Bar Method Tampa since January 2014, and I have to say that almost 8 years later I still absolutely LOVE this studio and workout! Even after all of this time I still find the workout to be challenging and super effective, and I absolutely love the instructors, the community and the studio atmosphere. There is so much positivity at the studio, and it makes me actually look forward to working out every day. I am so grateful that I found this studio and this amazing community, I highly recommend trying a class there!

I've been working out at the Bar Method for over four years now. There's a reason I've been there so long! The women who run the studio are wonderful: supportive, knowledgeable, highly trained, and will kick your butt ! This is a very hands on approach to HIIT training that incorporates dance, pilates, cardio, and free weights. It's not a dance class, it's BETTER.
I came to the Bar Method after having my second child. I now have defined, toned arms and ABS ! ABS ! after TWO KIDS !! (and at 40-something)
Come try a class. You won't be disappointed.

I am having a great time getting my workout in. This place is very motivating, personalized (because they positively correct your form so it’s productive). I have been coming since October and just signed up for a year. I am really happy that all the instructors are super professional and each a little different.

From my first Bar Method class back in March, I was immediately hooked. For so many reasons. The studio is so beautiful and always kept super clean. Everyone that works there is extremely attentive to each member and will go above and beyond to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and has an experience tailored towards their own goals. During the class, instructors are very encouraging and helpful. I am already feeling so much stronger and can see a visible difference in my body and can't wait to continue going to classes! I chose to purchase a Club Bar membership and love all of the benefits that come with it. I have started bringing my friends and 10/10 would recommend trying out the studio for anyone looking for an effective, efficient workout.

I've been doing Bar Method for a little over a year now and I cannot rave enough about this place. All of the staff and instructors are extremely sweet and encouraging and the classes are phenomenal. The instructors really assist if you need to modify a position or a move for whatever reason (health reasons, pregnancy, etc.) and are always providing constructive feedback for how to improve your move, which I love. I've been to a few barre studios before and this is hands down the one where I feel most accepted, at home, and not judged at all! Everyone needs to give them a try! And your body will thank you :)

I am not super fit, but the employees at Bar always make every body feel welcome. I bought an unlimited month on Black Friday and have gone several times in the last week. It is low impact but you will SWEAT. Try it out for a fun workout.

I love the Bar Method! I have been doing it for over a year and it is still fun and challenging! It is an addicting workout with great benefits. In every class, you work every muscle and you see results fast! I like that the instructors are actively involved in guiding you and adjusting you so you do the workout correctly and safely, it's almost like having a personal trainer. This way you get an effective workout and you get the most out of your workout. The instructors are super funny and motivating. Bar Method is definitely my happy place!

I never enjoyed working out until I found The Bar Method and now I am seriously obsessed. I look forward to class every time I go! The workout focuses so much on form that it forces me to literally only think about my movements while I'm there, so it's a total mindfulness experience in addition to a challenging workout. The instructors are all so nice and not intimidating at all--they make a point to learn your name right away so you instantly feel like you're a part of this "community." If you're curious definitely check it out--they often do free class promos and community events--and I am sure you will love it.

Life changing! I have been going to Bar Method for years and it never gets old! I love how the moves challenge my body and mind! I totally recommend it for anyone no matter what fitness level because they really focus on form to make sure you are safe, doing the moves correctly and effectively! Also, the community is amazing! I have never been one to enjoy working out but once I started taking classes at Bar Method I knew this was the work out routine for me. I started back in January with a 10-day trial and I fell in love! I couldn't believe that just after 10 classes I was able to see and feel a difference in my body. I just recently started my first month of unlimited classes and I'm so happy to be back at it. All of the staff along with the other ladies taking the classes are so nice and helpful. I've tried two other barre fitness studios here in Tampa and by far Bar Method is the BEST! Highly recommend trying it out! :)

I have been coming to Bar Method a while now. I use it to supplement my workouts. At first I used it to get ready for my wedding because I was bored with what I was doing and wanted to try something new. Now I just add on to what I am already doing to mix up my routine.
I like it because I have a dance background and it has very similar exercises to those of ballet. Although you do not need dance experience to take bar method, it lets me tap back into those muscles I forgot. They have classes ranging from basic to advanced. I mostly come to bar move and have tried bar restore. Those are my two favorites. I wish they had more of the move/advanced classes at times that I could make with my traditional work schedule.
The class has all ranges of exercise levels and is low impact. Don’t let that deter you because it is hard! It uses muscle tension and isomeric holds to get deep in the muscle. That’s why I like it. It challenges my physique in a different way. I am 100 classes in (which it took me 2 years to do) and still feel the workouts. Mo is my favorite teacher followed by Lucia. They are opposite in their styles though!
My only area of opportunity for them is there is a little favoritism at times. You can tell that they cater to their club members vs those that come occasionally. I have hit a milestone recently and it went unnoticed. Just an observation! I still like the teachers there and they are all really nice and fun. I miss the dance classes they had sometimes! I would love to come more when my budget/schedule allows me too. For now I manage one time a week sometimes two.

I started going to The Bar Method when I was given the gift of an unlimited month. I have been working out my entire life (running, lifting, yoga, etc.), but gave up most of that when I started Bar Method, and I'm so happy I have!!! I love the feeling I get after a class, so much so that I force myself out of bed at 530 AM some mornings! The studio is clean, the classes are challenging, but most of all the teachers and staff are amazing! Their focus on each student during class makes the workout feel personalized and fun, as if you're working out with a bunch of friends instead of strangers. The challenge of making a work out both fun and productive has been achieved by The Bar Method!!! So thankful I was given an unlimited month as a gift :)

The Bar Method is not only a great work out but feels like a second home. I have never been a gym person and never understood "those people" that HAD to go to get their workout in on a regular basis. A tough yet manageable workout, The Bar Method easily accommodates to all ranges of physical abilities with modifications as needed. Plenty of class times to choose from to fit every schedule. The staff is incredibly friendly, supportive, and motivational. I noticed differences in my body after the third class. Although not drastic it was just the push I need to want to go more. Within two weeks I noticed positive improvements in my attitude, strength, posture, endurance, and eating habits. Never did I believe I would be someone who loves to workout but now I'm addicted!

I've always struggled with finding my rhythm in any workout, fitness class and never felt it in my abs, until Bar Method. The facility is great with also offering lockable lockers, showers, private bathrooms and so clean. The instructors are amazing and always help the best they can to make sure everyone benefits in the class especially Jenny, the owner. You can't go wrong giving this a try and getting hooked. Your first few classes you will definitely feel it. With time you will start to enjoy the shake and knowing that your body is improving. I'm already seeing muscles that I haven't seen before.

Love the atmosphere of Bar Method. The staff is the greatest. They know you by name when you walk in. The group of people who go are nice too. You feel very welcome. I love going to Bar Method Tampa. Like many people, after years of running and other high impact (and often injury causing) workouts, I was searching for something that was low impact but effective. My muscles are noticeable leaner and stronger from these classes. But my favorite thing about Bar Method Tampa is the wonderful staff. While I love the workout, I honestly believe that the main reason I keep showing up for class is these ladies! The front desk staff and instructors know everyone who comes to the studio by name, and I know I can always count on the awesome instructors to motivate me to keep on pushing or to make me laugh right when I'm on the verge of giving up on a tough exercise. Wonderful environment where you can strengthen, heal, and transform your body with the guidance of the extraordinary studio instructors. You are given corrections and modifications to maintain proper alignment and prevent injury. I’ve had terrible injuries this year including a broken leg and ankle which atrophied horribly and I’ve developed strength and confidence I’ve never had. I was about to start pharmacy school and knew I needed to find a workout that I could really stick to. I knew that once I got busy I would have a hard time getting to the gym or on a run like I had time to in college. The Bar Method makes the most of my hour both mentally and physically so I always make time for it!
The past year at the Bar Method has done exactly what I hoped it would – provided an opportunity to maintain and improve fitness AND the best mental break from studying. Sometimes in college I would feel guilty the whole time I worked out for taking away so much study time. At Bar Method class I don’t have time to think about it since I’m constantly going through the checklist – posture, shoulders, abs, tuck, repeat! It’s the best way to rest my mind from outside stressors. I also love the community at the studio. I always appreciate when the instructors and staff ask me about what’s going on in my life and I’ve enjoyed getting to know wonderful clients too!
Since I came from a dance background, I knew all about the lean, elongated muscles we aim for in Bar Method. In high school and college I added on activities that gave more of the ‘bulk’ muscle. I have loved the opportunity to reconnect with the isometric movements and stretching and it has really changed the way my muscles look and feel.

Everyone at the studio is so welcoming and friendly. The staff seems to genuinely care about you and within a couple of classes they all know you by name. The workout is definitely a challenge and although it takes time to figure out exactly what you're supposed to be doing, it's a judgement free zone while you're on the learning curve. The amenities are great too (love having the showers available) and the app makes signing up for classes super easy. Overall, it's been a great experience!

I can not explain the love I have for this group of amazing people! I was able to go to bar method regularly a few years ago when my sister Alexis was an ambassador (her words) I went from an XL to a medium shirt in like 3 months going 3x a week. And didn't really lose weight but INCHES! I have never felt healthier. I wish I could afford to go back regularly again because I've put on more weight after my youngest but with COVID I can't really budget it in. Please please please give this place a try. It will change your life, health, and happiness!

When I came down to Tampa for a job interview and saw a Bar Method studio right across the street from my potential office, I knew it had to be fate. If I could easily incorporate barre into my new life and long work hours, I knew the transition would be easier. So here I am and I'm loving the Bar Method! I averaged about 5 classes a week when I did barre before (at another studio...there was no Bar Method in Philadelphia) so I'm hopping right back into it. I didn't love my first Level 1 class because I thought it was a pretty slow, but my second Mixed Level class with Becky was definitely more my pace and level of challenge. The studio is beautiful, clean, and spacious. There are showers and lockers with locks. They even have a hair ties if you forget yours and a K-cup machine if you need your morning cup of joe! The owner, Jeanette, is receptive to feedback, which I really appreciate. And they do cool fundraising events for good causes. The price is a bargain (at least compared to what I'm used to paying in Philly). I highly recommend you give the Bar Method a try!

I started going to the Bar Method about 4 years ago. I was just recently engaged and decided to attend a bridal event with one of my girl friends put on at the studio. Immediately after my first class I knew this was the exercise I needed to get in shape for my wedding! It was a little pricey so we bounced around different studios with groupons/new member deals but ultimately we just weren't as happy as we were at the Bar Method. Both my bridesmaid and I went back and signed up as members. The Bar Method got us through my wedding and hers and I must say I felt extremely happy with my wedding dress bod. Here we are nearly four years later and we are both still avid Bar Method-ers. The instructors are the best and make you feel like you're at home - they never make you feel stupid or uncomfortable and the workouts speak for themselves. It's worth every penny. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

I went to the Bar Method on a whim with a local moms group and fell in LOVE! Obviously my out of shape post baby body had to work really hard just to complete the workout but the instructors are upbeat and motivating and most importantly there to help you achieve your goals safely, they are huge on posture and form and will help you adjust as needed to keep your body safe while also getting the upmost from your workout. I signed up for the unlimited that same day and returned every day after, even twice one day! My body began to crave the muscle burning intensity and quickly has become the best “me time”! I truly feel these exercises are working on my body, mind, and spirit and I feel so much better after every class! I highly recommend these classes for any and all skill level, they will help you get where you want to be, the best investment is in something that makes you both happier and healthier and I know Bar Method achieves both of those things!

As someone who is NOT a workout fanatic, I've been absolutely loving Bar Method. I appreciate that it's clearly directed but you're not being barked orders at, you feel it working in your body, but everything is safe and low impact, plus the staff and members are all super fun and friendly. I am not athletic or particularly coordinated but since day one, I never felt like I was making a fool of myself since every exercise has it's own ways to modify if you need to work up to that level or challenge yourself if you're wanting to increase the effort. I've only been going a short while and can already see my posture and flexibility improving and I'm fitting into once snug shorts a little bit more comfortably!

The Bar Method is absolutely the best workout I have encountered in a long time. I have gone to gyms, personal trainers, and the latest group classes all hoping that I would see a visual change in my body and appearance. Only being apart of the The Bar Method for the last six weeks, I began to feel the changes internally -- I knew something was different. Slowly the changes have sprung forward and my hello-goodbye arms are toning and disappearing; my jeans are loose in the thighs and around my stomach area; and yes I see the beginning of a six-pack from all of the ab workout. If you are considering trying a barre style workout come to Bar Method first. I first signed up after purchasing a Groupon about a year and a half ago, I was going to the gym regularly but wanted to change things up and gave Bar Method a try. Admittedly I didn't love it, I added it into my workout regime, going about twice a week and doing only cardio during the rest of the week. Six months later I went again with a friend and decided to give it another try and really commit to going the recommended three times a week. Within a month my body was more toned and I cancelled my other gym membership. A year later I still go at least three times a week and have honestly never been in better shape. It is not a cheap workout but it is effective, I was paying $40 a month at my other gym but not getting much in return, with Bar Method I never second guess the money I pay each month because I notice the results every day. Some people think it is a workout twirling in front of a ballet bar or think it is a workout that will only tone certain body parts, both of those are misconceptions, Bar Method combines several techniques to give you a full body workout. The instructors are helpful and make sure you get the most out of every class, they pay attention to your progress and weak spots to help you modify and reach your potential. Hopefully after reading this (because you must be interested in taking a class if you are still reading my novel sized review) you want to come in and try a Bar Method class, you won't be disappointed.

No waiting for machines to be freed up or thinking of how many reps, or how much weight to use, you basically have a personal trainer, in a group setting. I love this studio. I've tried other "bar(re) brands" - the instructors at Bar Method Tampa make you work while fixing your form, helping you learn better body awareness, encouraging you, and making you laugh. I expected that my muscle tone and flexibility would improve (and these have) - I didn't realize how much my posture would improve. This has made such a difference in reducing shoulder and hip pain I get from working long hours at my desk!

Love this place!!! The instructors are like highly encouraging drill sergeants making you laugh and sweat at the same time. They are in your face while telling you what a great butt you have. Because they tweak your positioning as needed, you will feel a DEFINITE difference in your body. I went thinking it would be comparable to the years of ballet I had. Yeah, NO. This is a workout and a half with no tutus in sight. LOVE IT!!!

Ijust recently joined the Bar Method at the beginning of July. I love it. I have been going 4-5 times a week. All of the instructors are great and help me to improve each class. I am starting to see some results with my body starting to tone. I am looking forward to see how I improve by the end of the first month.

I love going to the bar method because the instructors encourage me throughout class and push me to work harder. Even on days when I don't feel like working out, I can always convince myself to go to class because I know the workout will go by quickly, yet be very effective. I like being able to plan my class schedule ahead of time on the app and I have made friends who sign up to go to class with me, which help keep me accountable and make me continue to show up and work my butt off.

The Bar Method makes working out enjoyable - I don't know how they did it but honestly, it's amazing. These are seemingly simple workouts but they really kick your butt while giving you a nice one - and the best part is, you barely sweat! They have several showers and restrooms, plenty of mirror space which are all very clean. It's a very updated and cute studio and the staff always somehow remembers everyone's names. I definitely recommend all my friends give it a try.

Love the classes as they are challenging but safe for your joints, tendons, and ligaments. I had ACL surgery so I’m very picky about taking classes that have safety in mind but still give a great workout. I love that they offer noon classes because I work at night and can’t wake up early enough for the morning ones. Everyone here is super friendly, the front desk, instructors, and the members who come in to workout. They’ve fostered a great community here so I will continue to take classes! Also if you have gympass through your employer they are on there which makes it more affordable.

I love going to the Bar Method Tampa. All the instructors are great, it's a great facility, and the classes give you a real workout! It is a little pricey, but the classes are small and you definitely get adjustments and specialized attention from each instructor so it's definitely worth it.

There are not enough great things to say about barre. Not only is it an amazing workout that you work muscles you’ve never worked before but the girls that teach are all so wonderful and fun that you just keep coming back.
I have done so many other workouts but ended up not sticking with them. It’s one thing to workout but it’s another to workout and have fun. And I’ve been going consistently for over a year now and see so much improvement in my posture, my muscles, my strength, everything!
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a tough workout. Everyone I talk to thinks it’s so easy and doesn’t understand how you actually get a workout from it. TRY IT and you will see how great it is. Your butt, thighs, hamstrings, arms, abs, posture and confidence will thank you later. :)

I have been attending classes for a little over the month and I LOVE IT! The space is super clean, there are showers available, and you can store your belongings in lockers during class. The staff is extremely helpful and works one on one with you while still teaching an entire group. I travel a lot, and I'm a Bar Method veteran. I do it for the simple reason that the first day of the ski season, I can ski right down the mountain without all the thigh burn. Burn now in class, so you don't burn later on the snow when you're trying to have fun! Plus, the flexibility work is massively important.
One thing I have learned is, every Bar Method is exactly the same, which is really important!
In addition to being just as great as every other Bar Method location, the wonderful team in Tampa is just extra friendly and helpful.
