When you think of a gym and lifting weights it might be a bit intimidating. Studio Element is very different, maybe because I'm there with a trainer, but the gym feels more welcoming. It is not an intimidating place to be. I've enjoyed weight lifting on and off for years but never had a personal trainer. Having someone correct your form and encourage you to do things you would not do on your own is very helpful. Always look forward to going and leave knowing I got a good workout in. Thank you Jay and the team!

I’ve had the privilege of working with Caleb now for almost 6 months. He is absolutely phenomenal. I cannot recommend him and this gym strongly enough. Caleb is so unbelievable skilled and is always trying to learn more. I never thought that I would actually have so much fun while working out, but every workout is fun and very challenging. I can not recommend him highly enough. He’s helped to make weightlifting and exercises very specific for what you’re trying to achieve. Just talk to him about what your goals and he will work extremely hard to help you reach them. The facility overall is extremely clean. The people are great, and the environment is really approachable and not intimidating at all. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for and I’ve looked at probably 25-30 gyms/workout centers in the area. Studio Element is the freaking best. I’ve also enjoyed working with Adelaide, Chris, and Nicole. All of them are so talented as well. They are really nice and encouraging. They’ve picked us up for a session in the rare circumstance that Caleb was on vacation or if we needed to rearrange our schedule and only had a certain time time we could work out.

STOP READING/SESRCHING AND BOOK THIS GYM NOW. Seriously, I cannot recommend Studio Element highly enough. I’ve been going there for three months now and actually look forward to going in each time. The trainers are motivating and extremely knowledgeable. Caleb is our main trainer and he is outstanding, energetic/fun, and insanely knowledgeable. He has an incredible amount of experience and has won weight lifting competitions in the past. I strongly recommend him. He is professional, easy going, and clearly loves what he does. His passion for wanting to help you improve shows. His correction and attention to form have prevented injury and helped ensure that different muscle groups aren’t engaged. I’ve also had the opportunity to train a lot with Adelaide. She is great too! She is very encouraging and very good with correcting form to help prevent injury. The entire team here is the real deal. I’ve tried every gym that I could to find the right fit, and none compared to Studio Element. The biggest selling point for me was when I met with Jay (the owner) and did NOT receive the ever so popular high pressure sales. You could tell that they stood behind their model.

Jim has been fantastic to work with and has helped me accomplish something that would have been much more difficult and taken much longer on my own. Having worked out with personal trainers for past decade, initially for weight management, then competition figure training and now for fitness with consideration of health issues; Studio Element staff are professional, down-to-earth, and trained in their field of expertise. Customer Service is key to a great business.I don’t enjoy airing out bad traits that needs to be remove. Yes, I’ve been with you guys but I guess not long to be a value customer.You’re facility is good, customer service good, but it was small and the trainer didn’t listen to my concerns completely about my limits which worried me. P.S You could’ve just ask nicely about my experience instead of pointing fingers..

I think what I like best about my experience at Studio Element is that they make working out a fun experience. My trainer is Levi and he is a knowledgeable,thoughtful,and caring instructor. I always walk out feeling better. I had a serious shoulder injury a few years back and I was trying to re habilitate my shoulder at some of the best private studios in Chicago before moving to St Louis in January of 2014. Having found Studio Element, I can honestly say that Jay and Levi have worked diligently to create a customized strength program. I have regained much of my agility and strength. More importantly I am getting back in to shape, whereas a few months ago I felt rather hopeless. What a great group of people.....having fun and feeling better is how I would describe Studio Element!

Been going to Studio Element for over year now. The owner and personal trainers are good peeps. This was my first experience with a personal trainer and I have been very happy with the results. I am in the best shape I have been in for as long as I can remember. Jay and his team at Studio Element are total professionals with the most comprehensive training program, including complete nutrition consultation, fitness assessment, and personal training. I worked with Jay for over a year and he helped me achieve results with weight loss, strength, and overall fitness/health, while his on-staff nutritionist helped me understand the foods I should be eating for maximum health and overall well-being. The studio is nice and private and everyone is friendly. It's a very relaxing and fun environment.

One of my favorite things is that Studio Element takes past injuries and limitations into account when formulating workouts. The exercises are well thought out and, in addition to improving your overall fitness, the trainers help you strengthen previously injured areas.

I recently underwent bariatric surgery. Doctor says exercise is critical, but I've never been a fit person, so a gym was very intimidating. I contacted Jay Seifert, and told him my situation. He put me on a very specific workout routine that he manages one-on-one with me. After only a few months there, I now have more strength and endurance then I've had in 15 years! Jay and the entire staff at Studio Element are professional and encouraging. They have made me feel comfortable with the process. Heck, I've even come to enjoy working out! Never thought I'd say that!

I've been training here for several months now and really love it. The facility has a convenient location, easy parking, and is very clean. I train with Alex who is a fantastic trainer. He is very professional, detail oriented, always prepared and gives you his full attention, watches every rep and really makes every work out count. This is a very cozy and effective training studio. I have been training with Jay since the beginning of the year and I always enjoy the atmosphere in the studio. Other clients seem to really enjoy their trainer as well and multiple have been coming to Studio Element for a long time. Jay and the Studio Element team is like training with a family who are encouraging you and challenging you to be the best you. Studio Element has all of the basics like: - an excellent location close to the highway and close to stores I go to anyway - a comfortable space with a small locker room including a shower - an area with several treadmills for warmup / down - an area for stretching & massage - a private room to take starting / progress measurements That said, the way they separate themselves, though, is the staff. Jay and the trainers work with your goals (fat loss, muscle gain, toning) and customize appropriately, and the atmosphere is laid-back and much like a family. They have Studio Element open events and support local community events. They help you push yourself to your edge, and keep you encouraged! The pre-workout warm up and post-workout warm down and stretch help prevent injury and... Seriously that stretch at the end is one of the most invaluable steps. I would highly recommend the Studio Element team!

I purchased a Groupon to try Studio Element. They set me up with Nicole and she made me feel very comfortable and welcome. She planned a challenging training session for me and mixed it up each time utilizing different equipment. Who knew I could do box jumps. The staff were all very friendly and motivating. The space was always kept clean and had great equipment in excellent condition.

If you are looking for a positive experience in personal training look no further. I have had nothing but an excellent experience with this company. All of the trainers are very respectful and really know their stuff! When you walk into their training facilty you can tell right away that you have joined the right place as they treat everyone like family. Now a little background about me, I was down on weight, I had been a very active person in college but with my first job I started to live a very sedentary lifestyle. I was down 25lbs from where I was in college, I wanted to change that but I didn't know how. I had never worked out a day in my life. I was just very active in sports growing up. So I was looking for a place so I could start making healthier life choices and really learn about technique and different exercises. I did some research and found that Studio Elements had very positive reviews so I thought I would give it a try. I submited my contact information to them and was contacted faster than I honestly would have expected. My first meeting with them was a fantastic experience. Jay, the owner and I talked about what my goals were in joining such a program and how we could try to accomplish those goals. I decided this was the place I wanted to be to better myself. Fast forward 5 months and I have gained 30lbs, I am at a healthy weight of 160lbs. I can not tell you how life changing this decision has been for me. I never thought I would be able to get to the point I am now but everyone there pushes you to be your best, I have never felt better. A big Thank You to the entire staff at Studio Elements Personal Training for the great experiences I've had!

I was a member of Studio Element for the Last Smallest Winnder Contest. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the experience was. Everyone, and I mean everyone was so supportive, and helpful. Brianna was my trainer, and I loved working with her. She genuinely cared about what I was going through, and when I got frustrated when I didn't lose like I expected she got frustrated to, but helped me work through it all. Even the other trainers were always very encouraging. Whenever Jay was there He waould always ask me how I was doing, and still today, even though I haven't been at the gym for months, he still will send me messages and asks how I am doing. Leah was wonderful to work with on my diet. I had struggles, we all do, but Leahhelped me figure out what was best for me to eat. As I stated before everyone at Studio Element was wonderful, and I loved my experience working out there. Jay and his staff are wonderful! I have gotten to work with two separate trainers (Harrison and Jeremiah) and a nutritionist and all experiences were wonderful. It's a welcoming environment but the trainers are serious about helping you achieve your results. Highly recommended!

This place is a small space for working out with a personal trainer. There are never too many people here, the staff is extremely friendly, and recent renovations have made good use out of the small area. They have a super cool scanner that measures body fat percentage and BMI among many other things so you can set your goals in a myriad of ways. They also have well trained nutritionists who will help you outside of the gym using a food tracking app, if you choose that option. I personally chose this place because they took the time to know my limits, my motivations, and my weaknesses and also because Jay, who I met during my free consult, was such an inspiring and friendly guy.

I loved Studio Element and my trainer, Nicole! I am a 38 year old mom of two. I work full time, am married. I have a busy life. I started coming to Studio Element in February, 2014 because I wanted to gain my strength back. I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in March, 2011, had 5 months of chemo, a double mastectomy, and 7 weeks of radiation. I was diagnosed with lympheadema in my right arm immediately after (a common side effect of mastectomy) and have had to wear compression sleeves on my right arm and compression gloves on my right hand. I have had limited range of motion since the mastectomy. I was afraid to start working out but anxious to get started. Over 4 months, I have regained all range of motion in my right arm and hand. I can play basketball again! I have the strength and stamina and ability now! I also run now. All because Nicole worked with me to softly push my limits. She knew exactly what to do. She pushed me hard without yelling at me or barking orders. I have visible muscles now! I can plank for a long time! I can do pushups!! I have more energy, a greater sense of peace, and my oncologists are very happy with the health benefits from my workouts! And I can run, which I was never able to do before. I am now getting ready for my first 5k, which isn't much for some people but a lot for me. I highly, highly recommend this studio and Nicole. They have changed my life.

Caring and knowledgeable training staff are extremely helpful. They have a routine for whatever goals you may have and I like that they combine exercises so that you work multiple parts of your body in one. Can't beat their trial package and they reward you for coming back and referrals.

If you, like me, hate working out, this is your place. These guys actually make it enjoyable, if you can believe that. All trainers are degreed, so you're dealing with solid, quality folks who know their stuff. Since 2006 they've been my trainers, and when the muscles are "sore" -- which is almost always -- it's the "good sore", not the "bad sore". So if you want someone to make you feel the "good sore", run on in. Or, rather, walk, then run or jog on their treadmills and try to pull over the adult monkey bars (ugh!). Resistance, endurance, body-weight, lateral, core, flexibility: these are but a few of the training types encouraged and offered. Get yourself shaped up. Do it for your children, as did I.

The hardest part about working out is "self-motivation" and then once at the gym, deciding what to work on "upper body/ lower body/ how many sets etc,,". Leave all that to great trainers at "Studio Element" and just enjoy the results.
