Iron Tribe provides great workouts that are challenging but doable. I always leave thinking it was a great workout. Trainers are great and will modify any exercise that is too hard. Additionally, trainers are so attentive and make sure you're performing the exercises correctly and give encouragement. This gym works because of the accountability and the personalized food plans. The atmosphere is also great because we all root each other on and have fun while working out. There's no excuse to not reach your goals if you take the first step and join.

Looking for a way to shake up my routine, I signed up for a six week challenge at Iron Tribe Fitness and I am so happy I did! The trainers are knowledgeable and set up challenging workouts. What I’ve been most impressed with is how the trainers carefully demonstrate every move prior to the workouts, whether the class is attended by regular Tribers or not, and they have a modification for everything. That’s allowed me to continue working out despite an injury. Great group of people there, Steve is amazing, the trainers are fabulous and it truly feels like a family/Tribe.

Tomorrow I end a six week challenge through this gym and I have been incredibly impressed. The trainers on staff are knowledgeable and personable. The gym owner is actively involved in supporting his members in every way. You get personal training and personalized guidance in nutrition and diet, and an automatic community of people that are competitive, friendly, and help hold you accountable by signing up for classes together and pushing you to compete and do your best every workout.

Steve Baum and his professional trainers at Iron Tribe have significantly helped transform my mind and body over the last 8 weeks. I had made some progress by myself and with weight watchers, but wanted to go to the next level by getting stronger, gaining muscle, losing fat and eating better to manage my fitness goals and my energy throughout the day. I was also regularly hurting myself during workouts before I joined Iron Tribe and at 53 years old, my recovery from injury is very slow. Steve and his team have delivered great results. I’ve gained 5lbs of muscle, lost 10lbs of fat, went from 18.2 to 13.2 percent body fat and most importantly my diet has helped me feel better throughout the day with more energy and focus. I’ve also learned how to workout safely and continue to push myself harder than I though I could. I’d highly recommend Iron Tribe no matter what your fitness level or goals are. I’m constantly amazed at the diversity of people at the workouts. Awesome gym. Owner /trainers are all top notch pros who will really whip you into shape. Was highly impressed with their fitness knowledge and their training concept. The gym was very very clean and the atmosphere was positive and motivating. The other people were supportive and fun to be around there was a real team "we can do this" spirit that made you feel like you good while you were hurting and thinking otherwise 😂.
If you're looking for a no intimidation zone, but we'll get your butt in shape trainer/gym .. this is it.

I was skeptical about joining Iron Tribe with my arthritis and back issues. I was worried I would just hurt myself and be in worse shape. Well because of my lack of exercise for several years and previous injuries it wasn’t easy, but this time I worked through the pain. It took a while but I’m still here and going at my own pace. I’m getting stronger everyday. In the past I tend to give up when it comes to fitness but at Iron Tribe I feel the encouragement, support and the extra push I need. The Gym experience is not intimidating as I thought it would be. I feel comfortable in my own skin and Im always able to modify the exercises. The great thing about the workout is that it goes by quickly and they play great music. It never gets boring because the workouts are always changing and they’re very good about creating challenges that you can choose to partake in. Nutrition is also key and they give you all the tools you need. Not going anywhere for awhile. My health is number 1 so I can be active with my kids and enjoy life to the fullest. It’s worth every cent!!!

Iron Tribe Fitness has exceeded my expectations in every way. Every trainer, in the classes I attend, has known me by name since my second week and I witness them calling all members by name. They explain and demonstrate all of the exercises at the beginning of class, give any modifications you might need and constantly encourage us to strive for more reps, weight or better technique.
The food plan is reasonable and the accountability process is easy to follow. Steve explains scan results to keep you focused on your goals.
I have participated in fitness classes and workout programs for over half of my life, including teaching aerobics for several years, and Iron Tribe Fitness is by far the best; I encourage anyone to join and let them help you obtain your health and fitness goals.

Iron Tribe is an amazing gym. If you're looking for a gym that truly cares about you, this is it. The other tribe members and the trainers make you feel like family. They will support you, and motivate you to succeed. I had a knee injury and the trainers modified workouts in order for me to still achieve my goals without hurting myself. IT also focuses on nutrition which is huge! I highly recommend that you give Iron Tribe a chance before looking at any other gym.

I moved to St. Louis from out of town and wanted to find a gym that would work with me on my fitness goals. I was hoping to find a place to work out with a group and also find support with nutrition and weight loss. Iron Tribe has exceeded my expectations and then some! The classes are challenging and the pace is perfect--you get in, work out hard, and get out to move on with your day. Every time you come in it's different and new, no getting bored. The trainers are fun and supportive. They worked on easing me into the workouts and made sure I could safely do every move. They also offer lots of choices if you have injuries or need modifications until you build up your strength. The eating plans are great and I love having freedom to choose what I want to eat within smart guidelines. I'm so glad to have found Iron Tribe!!!

I can’t say enough about Iron Tribe Fitness. This is the gym for you if you are looking for a fitness facility that truly cares about you. The moment you walk through the door you are part of a team. The other tribe members and the trainers all make you feel like you belong. The classes are different every time so I don’t get bored. The music the other tribe members and most important the trainers keep you motivated throughout the workout. I have lower back and a shoulder problem and the workouts are modified to prevent injury yet I know I am getting stronger . I travel a lot and the Iron Tribe App gives you workouts for when you are on the road. I receive text messages checking on me when I have not been at the gym. I never had that anywhere. The other members post helpful hints on what works for them nutrition wise on the Facebook page. This is the real deal. A fitness facility with excellent trainers people who care about you and want you to succeed. I highly recommend that you give Iron Tribe Fitness a chance before joining another facility.

I joined Iron Tribe as part of a 12 week program. The caring knowledgeable team is the best! No judgment, always encouraging you and they make the workouts super fun. The best part of my journey 8 weeks in so far is not the focus on being in the gym, rather nutrition. The customized meal templates and accountability for each meal has proven to be a life changer for me. I am 42 and was a size 12 pants when I started. By following the meal templates to a T for every meal and visiting the gym only a few times a week I'm now in between a size 6 and 8 pants. I have lost 8.4% body fat and more importantly I have cut my visceral fat in half. I love my workouts from Iron Tribe! They are very fun and also very effective! The instructors are very friendly and they keep things interesting by using different equipment on the workouts. My favorite class is the 321Go, its a very fun interval workout, and you will feel it the next day!

Iron Tribe Fitness at Brentwood is the best. I took up the six week challenge after letting myself gain weight and become considerably unfit. There was no judgement, just encouragement, help and support from Steve and his knowledgeable team of trainers. That six weeks has passed and I’m down 19lbs of body fat, up 4lbs of muscle, and feeling better and fitter than I have in a long time. I even sleep better. The meal plans work, no starving yourself here. I am hooked, who knew fitness could be so much fun... I used to be very fit and toned and was very confident in my body and appearance. Due to some life changes, I stopped working out and let myself get terribly out of shape. When I saw the 6-Week Challenge on Facebook, I thought it sounded like something manageable for me to bite off. Just 6 weeks. I'm just wrapping up 12 weeks, and I have gained a lot of my confidence back. I have lost 7 lbs. of Body Fat, my body feels so much stronger, and my energy level has increased dramatically. I still have a long way to go, but I'm now equipped with what I need to make it happen.
ALL of the trainers are wonderful and offer SO much encouragement and personal attention. The people I've met there are all equally great. I highly recommend Iron Tribe to anyone wanting to get into shape, lose weight and feel better about themselves. You won't regret it!!

Had a great experience! i joined through the 6 week challenge and i have not regretted my decision. The workouts are pretty tough especially if you are trying to get back in shape but are really effective. I was also provided a meal plan, cookbook and videos which i thought was really valuable and if you needed extra help they were always available and easy to contact to provide assistance. They recommended the nudge app which i downloaded but never really used. The facility is nice and clean. Classes were easy to sign up and you can often see what the workout entails prior to signing up for that session. Trainers were awesome! they encourage you every step of the way, provide variations to different exercises (which i particularly enjoyed - especially if you have any limitations) and were very friendly. I highly recommend this place especially if you're like me, out of shape for a long time and looking to get back into it or just looking for a lifestyle change. I don't think they're are many gyms out here that not only provide high quality workouts, provide a solid detailed meal plan and the level of support to get you to your goals as this place does.

I love Outlaw Fitness! Steve is such a great owner and trainer, and he makes every workout count and burn! Although I love going into the actual gym to workout, the online classes during this pandemic have been outstanding, too. Each one is different, you don't need a lot of equipment and you still get great results. Steve knows his clients well, what their strengths and weaknesses are, how to motivate them and how to keep it fun.

Iron Tribe is the best thing that can happen to anyone that has problems with getting bored with traditional fitness. It is a great mix of cardio and weights all with extremely intelligent and motivating trainers and instructors. I've been working out at Iron Tribe now for 5 weeks and I haven't come remotely close to doing the same workout twice. It's amazing at how wide of a variety of exercises and combinations that the program has to offer. On top of that, the instructors are always open to helping modify any exercise to suit your needs if you are unable to perform a certain movement. Iron tribe is like a family. The trainers and members are all amazing people. This has been my favorite gym so far. Each class it’s like you have a personal trainer and they make sure you are doing everything properly. They helped my with strenthing my back and working on my back problems. I love it because I feel like I get in an intense workout every time I go and love that they are 45 minute classes. Would definitely recommend to other.

This has done more than just changed my appearance, it has changed my lifestyle and the way I view food. The encouragement and advice that I received along the way was so helpful. I was so intimidated to start, at first, because I hadn't been dedicated to my fitness in years. But, even during my very first class the trainers made me feel comfortable and encouraged. I loved the convenience of the early morning classes. I got a great work out and still made it to work early. Truly an awesome gym. You are always challenged with something different each time you go, and the trainers will push you to work to your full potential. Each class is effective and the trainers are engaging and friendly. I started working out with Iron Tribe during one of the Challenges that they put on back in September. I was so impressed with the Steve and the staff, that I continued on. I've never been a "gym" person; the environment and class structure is perfect. Classes are geared for folks just starting out to Pro's! In and out in less than an hour with a GREAT workout that's never the same. His nutritional guidance is excellent and the staffs ability to modify workouts if you are having issues with certain muscle aches is fantastic. I HIGHLY recommend giving Iron Tribe a try. You will not be disappointed.

The trainers watch your movements which keeps you safe and helps you connect with your body for a better, healthier and more intentional work out. Steve is an excellent, experienced trainer who offers full scale fitness advice and training. He goes above and beyond a great work out with health tips and nutrition. He is also a stickler to form, which is everything when you want to get the maximum from your work out and to prevent injury. I have found his fitness training to be much more extensive than what you see at other health facilities and highly recommend Outlaw Fitness St. Louis.

I joined Iron Tribe 5 yeas ago. I had gained weight after my kids and working a sedentary job and definitely overindulging. So, it was time to take care of myself.
My initial goal was to lose some weight. Yes I was self conscious, but only received encouragement! I taught the proper way to execute the exercises and I was taught how to eat. It matters not if you are a beginner or advanced in your expertise, the coaches teach you everything and are ALWAYS supportive, challenging each member to achieve their goals. I did not play any sports so i had no idea what to expect nor any prior experience from which to draw. Progress shows itself in many ways, weight loss, strength, nutritional education, the coaches help you realize each level of achievement and cheer you on to your next goal. What a great community!

Iron Tribe Fitness is a very well-run & well-organized fitness program that offers a daily opportunity to get a full-fledged, well-rounded workout in less than 60 minutes. The sessions -- back-to-back virtually all day on an hourly basis -- run like "clockwork" and the online (app) registration is very convenient and simple. Highly recommend checking out Iron Tribe Fitness even if you are not in the best of shape as the program is flexible and accommodating enough to meet the needs of beginners and more advanced trainees at the same time.

There is plenty of research about what it takes to create a new habit (or change a bad one), but ultimately it comes down to an identity shift. The concept of Iron Tribe is going to create the right environment for you to change your identity. There is built-in accountability - from trainers who learn your name on day 1 (or know it before you even walk in the door), to other folks working out consistently with you who encourage and challenge you, to an awesome app which lets you see what your friends are up to in their workouts - the whole experience is designed to get you to buy into your new story. Bottom line is that Iron Tribe is going to 1) meet you where you are on the fitness spectrum, 2) teach you how to do a whole range of movements that are lots more fun/effective than the classic curls/presses you've considered "working out," and 3) encourage you to change your mindset about what you're capable of. If you are intimidated by joining a gym, you should definitely consider joining a Tribe instead!

At first I wasn’t sure of this place but I quickly changed my mind. After the first meeting I knew this was a place that I can get the results I have always wanted. I usually went to the gym for an hour or so a day but with the workouts at tribe they are shorter and more efficient that you don’t need to workout for an hour a day. The trainers all make you feel very comfortable no matter what your fitness level is. I would recommend this place to anyone of any fitness level that wants to make a true commitment to their health and fitness. If you follow their plan you will be happy with the results!

Great team workouts led by awesome trainers. It’s great balance between interval training and a weight training. I advise anyone and everyone to try this gym out. If you need modifications to advance your workout or lower the level of the workout, the trainers are extremely flexible and knowledgeable.

My 6 weeks at ITF was truly transformational. I did not know my body could be pushed as far as it was and that I could get back to the weight I was freshman year of high school, but I did! One of the best programs I've been a part of. I'm a Chef and i thought i ate fairly healthy but never understood why it would take so long to lose 1 pound. Iron Tribe Fitness taught me why i wasn't losing, and how to lose more. They taught a Chef how to eat healthy and with purpose. Lost 20 pounds in less then 3 months. Have regained muscle. I have been in the fitness industry for 20 years professionally. I work with all walks of life from brittle bone children to mountain climbing athletes. Professionally I am impressed with the quality of instruction and coaching from EVERY single staff member at Iron Tribe Fitness. Their approach to fitness is unique and well executed.
I had my turn at “the top of my game” many years ago and have had ups and downs as we all do. I spent the most of the last two years with a back injury and trying to recover from it. The Iron Tribe in Brentwood owned by Steve Baum helped me safely find my inner warrior and it feels amazing. Every person, or athlete as you will be called and respected as, works to the hardest ability they can get to that day, that moment, right next to up to 18 others doing exactly the same thing. There is no competition only the comfort and camaraderie of knowing you all came there to give it your all and walk out feeling so glad you were a part of what just happened. Week 6 Has come to end and I have to say that participating in the Iron Tribe 6 week fitness challenge has been a life changing event. I have been struggling for most of my life with being over weight and not living a healthy lifestyle especially the in last twenty years. One day your 27 and 180# and then fast forward 20 years and your 47 and 254#.What in the hell happened to me??? Some how I had let the daily grind and stress of my life take away my health and well being.Last year I lost two good friends with in only a few weeks of each other. Both in their 40's,too young to die,and victims of living an unhealthy lifestyle..... just like me.Wow all of a sudden things became very real, in my face, up close and personal.Life had sucker punched me right in the face 3 times in a row. One time for each friend and the third time was the realization that I'm next if I didn't change my ways.Over the years I have had several gym memberships and tried everything from the YMCA,the $10 club, the Meathead Bro factory, various workout at home trends like P90X, and the latest diet trends. Every time failing for one reason or another.Based on my past experiences I knew I had to try something different. I had heard about Crossfit interval training and after doing some research decided to give it a try. After an internet search for Crossfit gyms within 5 miles of my home I had so many options that I was a little overwhelmed and wasn't sure I had the time or the money to gym hop and find the right one for me. Around that same time my friend Shawn had been invited to do the September Iron Tribe 6 week challenge by his sister-in-law. After a couple weeks Shawn told me" You really need to check this place out I think you will really like it". Shawn stuck to it and couple months later he invited me to do the January 6 week challenge. Thank You Shawn for being a good friend and staying on me to do this! Iron Tribe Fitness is unlike any other gym that I've been to. Steve Baum the owner runs an amazing place and I really like his business model.
He is very passionate about what he does and it shows in every part of his business. The coaches are very friendly,knowledgeable,sincere, and supportive. Everyone no matter your fitness level is welcome. We all do the same workouts. No one is better than anyone else.I have been working out 4 times a week for 6 weeks and have not done the same workout twice.This is great for results and never gets boring. The challenge has its own website with tons of information, also blogs,nutrition plans, and Body Scans to help track your progress. All this for the last six weeks and it was all completely free! Like I said it has changed my life and I'm now proud to say that I'm going to become a member and continue my Crossfit lifestyle journey at Iron Tribe Fitness!

He is constantly incorporating new workouts, new equipment, and sharing his extensive knowledge about general wellness. He recently adapted his programming to include online workouts which are convenient and challenging.

OK. I needed a change in my workout routines, and so I told Mark Richman I wanted to try the challenge - it was time! I'm 43 years old and totally felt my body was not changing and I needed something. Needed to spice things up, since running for 25 years has taken somewhat of a toll on my body.
Iron Tribe has been an amazing journey for me. I was skeptical at first for sure!! I thought my workouts and runs were way more intense and I was thinking how in the hell will this change me, because I did not feel it was as intense, but I was totally wrong!!!! After 4 weeks I felt stronger, saw more muscle and felt so freaking good, and I still had 2 more weeks of my challenge!
A lot has to do with the trainers there. Julia and Karsten have been my main trainers, and they are so helpful, and correct your form, and help you modify as needed, to keep you going! All of the trainers are super!!!! Plus just the passion and love from the Tribe members helps keep me going.
I honestly have to say that I really do not mind getting up at the ass crack of dawn to be with the Tribe!!!
I am looking forward to seeing my 6 week results and comparing them to week 1. Thank you Steve Baum and all the other Iron Tribers for being so warm and welcoming to all the "Challengers".

I’ve been a member at Iron Tribe Fitness for one year. I was super nervous when I first walked in because it seemed like a place where “real” fitness people worked out—the hard core folks. Well, there are definitely some of those folks and they’re great! There’s also normal folks, like me, who go too. ITF caters to all levels. I have improved in overall health, strength and confidence and I attribute it to ITF. The coaches are extremely helpful and personable. They encourage you to challenge yourself every time you’re there. They even take song requests! I love working out now, and that’s definitely something you wouldn’t have heard me say a year ago!

I am a 36 yr old father of two...sports my entire life...but had gotten away from the regular exercise. Throw in a diet that was literally the last priority for me, and I realized I was ducking out of pictures and experiences with my boys because I wasn't happy with how I looked.

ITF St. Louis has been life changing for me. I started working out in September of 18' so almost a year now. I have lost 52 lbs to date and feel like I got my life back. I have more energy both at work and home. I'm also more focused. Steve, Julia and all the trainers have been great to work with. I’m so pump right now, I could go for another round! If you have been thinking about it but never could make yourself do it...you’re missing it big time! I’ve never been in this shape since I was in grade school and I’m 55! If I can do it, you can too! Best investment I’ve ever done! It’s a great feeling after each workout. I started feeling tired and sore after the first 2 weeks but I got to the point that I’m tired but I want some more! Thanks to all the coaches! You know who you are!

So this will be something like my third review of Iron Tribe Fitness in Brentwood, MO, and I’m not sure what else I can say that I haven’t already said.
Perhaps the greatest testament of all would be the fact that I’m still here, after about a year, and I continually find myself pushing harder, trying to do more, feeling stronger, and encouraging others to come and give it a try, including my wife, who is pretty picky about where and how she works out. She just joined.
Regardless, I can now easily do pull-ups. I can now easily do push-ups. I can now easily maintain my weight and feel strong and have energy to deal with all the other stuff in my life such as work and kids and family.
I found a community of people who feel the same way I do - that all of us are stronger than any one of us. So perhaps my greatest thanks of all is to my fellow tribers. The trainers are great, but the community is what makes it awesome.

I did my first-ever "cross-fit" type (not cross-fit tho!) of workouts at Iron Tribe Fitness in Brentwood. Here are the things I really liked about it:
1. The instructors.
I had 3 different ones, and they were all great! The 2 women were particularly enthusiastic and friendly, in addition to being super helpful. The guy was more reserved (let's face it, the women were just flat out bubbly!) but he was extremely helpful in making sure I had the right form. When I was doing a particular move with a weight, he was clear to point out that I was using my "trap instead of my lat," and I never would've recognized that without him, because I thought I had perfect form!
2. The work-outs
I had never done this type of working out, and I really enjoyed it. It made me sore, which meant I had worked, but it didn't injure me. I have a love/hate relationship with being sore...each painful step reminds me I'm getting in shape! I typically run, bike, swim, and this worked muscles I never knew I had! Also, there was always a warm-up and a cool-down/stretch period built in to the 45 min. It wasn't all intense for 45 min! There was a lot of variety as well. Every day was something different from the previous day, and every workout had its own variety. The time flew by. I was NEVER wondering, "When are we going to move on?"
3. The people
I made quick friends with those that were there, even if I didn't learn their names. Everyone was friendly. No one was "I'm gonna trounce you!" Everyone was helpful and encouraging. There was a wide range of ages and abilities.
4. Adaptations
At my age (58), some of the exercises I physically couldn't do. In addition, some participants had had a knee surgery, or some other limitation. In every case, there was an alternate exercise you could do to improve. I can't do V-ups for example, but Julia showed me this killer alternate exercise that was painfully good, and I could actually do it, so I know I was getting stronger.
5. The flexible schedule
I did some morning workouts and some in the evenings. I like that they weren't all super early, though that is an option. I typically did the 9:30am or the 4:45pm ones.
6. The location
For me at least, it is super conveniently located. I work a suburb over, and it was easy to get there from 64/Brentwood Blvd. The facility has a shower if you need to go straight to work from there. There is also another bathroom, as well as a water fountain. They have a plethora of different exercise equipment depending on what the focus is. They also take advantage of the outside, if that's an option you like.

I started at ITF in mid October. My energy levels, eating habbits, body shape/weight and much more were a huge problem for me. Having a nutritional guideline/ template along with the awesome workouts have literally changed my life to the positive in such a short period of time.
Waking up and feeling great. Being conscious of my food choices and food intake. Unique and differnt workouts every time. (Seriously, I have not had the same workout which keeps me excited and pumped to see whats next.) These are only a few reasons why I love ITF, and keep going at least 3 to 4 times a week.
There is a PLUS... Steve and the whole staff have made me feel welcome from the minute I stepped foot in this gym. They helped me with right techniques, answered any and all questions, recommended better foods and the list goes on.
I can't say enough....the help is always a text or email away. The rest is history.. Changing my life and my habbits to the BEST version of ME.

I hate the gym.
I suppose that’s a good place to start. I’m not a big fan of the meathead mentality, and while I don’t mind exercise, I just don’t like gyms. It seems too high pressure and judgy.
But over the last month, at my beautiful wife’s behest, I’ve been going to a gym. Iron Tribe Fitness. And Mary brought me to a gym that doesn’t make me feel bad. I actually look forward to going, and now in the fifth week, I find myself trying to go more than the minimum commitment I made and WANTing to go 5 or more days a week because it’s fun. The classes are different every day. Great for my squirrel attention span. The instructors push each person to be their best without making you feel inferior (Thanks Julia, Richie, Brittney, and Karson!). It’s been a truly great experience, and turned a chore into a highlight of the day.
Oh, and it works. Fat melting, happiness rising. That is all. Be well. And if you don’t love gyms, but KNOW you need to be taking better care of yourself..... Go Tribe!

I started this workout challenge feeling very down about my fitness, I hadn’t made it a priority and it showed in my health, wellness, and overall mood. This has been an amazing journey, with remarkable changes in a short time. The biggest is the feeling that I can do this, that it’s good for me and feels good when I do. They push us hard everyday, and there have been many times I show up and think to myself “yeah right, no way I can do that.” But then I do. The coaches push each of us, and are always there to help. I’ve had so much support that includes modifications when needed, which feels very personalized. It’s been a great experience, and I can’t say how much I recommend it! Iron Tribe Fitness is absolutely amazing! Steve and all of the coaches are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, passionate, but most of caring.
I have struggled with my weight for 10+ years and have tried numerous diets, workout regiments, gym memberships, etc. Most have not worked and the few times I have had results they have been short lived. I finally reached a point in my life where I knew I needed to do something and change my life.
I looked around and found ITF and went in for a quick visit to learn more about what they do. Right off the bat I came to the conclusion that Steve was in this business for all of the right reasons and I decided to give it a shot. ITF has blown me away and has given me the blueprint that is working specifically for me based on my body composition and my desired goals. I now truly believe that the day I stepped into ITF is a day I will never forget as it was the start of a journey to get my life back.
I can’t say thank you enough to everyone at ITF including other members. I feel motivated and inspired every time I walk through the doors.
I am through six weeks of workouts and following my customized nutrition plan and I am down over 35lbs of pure fat.
