This is the best gym I’ve ever been a guest of! In the years Ive been coming here I’ve never had a desire to switch. The facilities are top tier and always so clean and accessible. The owner and staff feel like family, they are so nice and helpful, I always look forward to seeing them when I come in to work out. I love that it’s literally never closed, you can work out any time that suits your schedule. I’ve attended a few classes out of the many they offer and the coaches/trainers are super knowledgeable, friendly and have a great wealth of experience, so you know you’re getting the most out of the classes here. The spirit of this club is laid back and welcoming. People love it here and so do I. I’m confident that if you give this place a try, you’ll be glad you did! Stop by and see what I’m talking about . Best little gym in Seattle!

Been with this gym since I first moved here. It has most if not all the equipment you will need to do all your workouts, plus they have classes you can take which are included in your membership. Management is fantastic and the people here are also great. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a well managed, clean gym with absolutely what you need to stay in shape.

Overall a great find! I love that the gym is 24/7, the staff are very friendly, it never feels too crowded, it has plenty of amenities, and they host fun events. Also, when I signed up, I told them I was only in Seattle for a few months before I moved back to NY and they were happily able to put in an automatic membership cancellation so I didn’t have to worry about anything when I left. Great gym in a great location and would highly recommend!

I love the Fremont Health Club. They have everything you need to do a great workout and I never have issues with it being too crowded. I love that it's so clean and nice and the price for the membership is excellent. I also have had a really great experience whenever I need help from the staff.

Seriously really good. Hospitable staff, kind members, solid equipment, and I haven't tried the classes but I bet they're pretty good too. Ended up leaving due to the quantity of powerlifting equipment and quiet hours, but these are non-problems. You will have a great experience here.

If you're in Seattle for a short stay, this gym is a great option. Lots of short-term payment options, friendly and helpful owner and staff, and a terrific health club, all around.

Truly the best gym for the best price. Its never too crowded which helps me focus, always open, the air inside is fresh, has a beautiful view of lake union and downtown, constantly adding new machines and tools, the people are so friendly and the owner is so nice! So worth it!

Love this gym! Have been going here for five years now. They have everything you need equipment-wise, and there's plenty of space for you to do your own workouts if you're not into using the machines. Everyone is really friendly and approachable. If you're looking for a local gym, look no further!

Great gym for any sort of workout. They have workout classes, parking garage and a great stuff. Not a busy gym, so you never really have to wait for any equipment. Super recommend!!!

This is a lovely place, and it's made a great first impression on me. There is a large variety of equipment and it's all well-kept. Most importantly, however, is how kind and welcoming the staff is. The owner personally gave me a tour of the gym and was super friendly. I feel as though I'm genuinely cared for here, which is a much better feeling as compared to other gyms. I'm a new member but I can see myself working out here for a very long time. Couldn't recommend more highly.

If I could give them 10+ stars, I would! Equipment is in excellent condition, personnel are helpful and friendly, and management has a professional, no-pressure approach to membership. I highly recommend this gym for those living long-term in the area as well as those on shorter-term visits - this club has something for everyone!

Fremont health club is awesome. The lady that runs it is super nice. They have tons of classes. Equipment is pretty good (I wouldn't mind one more bench press setup and a newer set of bumper plates for deadlifting. Otherwise has everything you need). Feels like the place actually has a soul. Great gym that'll fit most everyone who wants to get in better shape.

I love love love this gym, not only is a great place to work out but it has been so crucial for my life in Seattle. All the friends I have made since I moved to Seattle 5 years ago have started here. The staff is very nice and knowledgable. The gym has all the machines and space you need to do your own thing and pretty much any type of workout. They also offer a variety of classes throughout the day.

Honestly why would anyone for to Anytime across the street when this locally owned gem of a gym is here. They are so nice at the front desk, the gym is rarely busy, and they truly trust their members. I never feel like my items in the locker room are unsafe, everyone keeps socially distanced, and there’s plenty of rooms to do your own thing. I love it! Also they provide towels!

Hidden gem! we went here for a day because we were in town for the weekend. The staff was SO nice. the trainers gave us tips when we asked. they let us use towels. clean and good spacing of equipment.

Fremont Health Club is a gym that has what I was looking for. It provides different types of equipment and weights for any workout you want to do. The gym facilities are well-maintained. The gym offers different classes and personal training. I love and enjoy the Barre and Pilates classes and my instructors too. The instructors and trainers are well-trained, experienced, and knowledgeable. Finally, I am very happy to be part of this locally-owned gym which makes me feel part of the community every time I go.

Locally owned and very well kept. Fremont Health Club has everything you need for basic gym workouts. The gym floor is never too busy and classes are kept to a max of 10 people. This ensures a more personal experience and better workout. No swimming pool, cycling room, or TRX studio. However, the location, price, and freedom of the gym are well worth it.

Absolutely love this gym! Such a great community of people here that really motivate you. A lot of different classes to choose from (pre-Covid) that should meet anyone’s needs. They are always open to hear what the guests think and need in regards to classes, class schedules, machines, etc. Locally owned. Family atmosphere that will keep you coming back! Top notch instructors and trainers. Clean equipment.

FHC offers a remarkably refreshing atmosphere for anyone tired of being harassed by judgy personal trainers or other members in larger, corporate gyms. The overall value of the membership is outstanding. I have been a member here for over a year and there are no personal trainers on the floor interrupting your workout and the other members treat each other respectfully and truly mind their own business. What I like the most about the club is the variety of all level fitness classes offered daily with seriously top notch instructors. I get bored easily but sure enough every week each class has different exercises that challenge the body and the brain. I really appreciate the instructors here that make a concerted effort to offer ques throughout the class so that I know I am using good technique and form. This facility may not be the most upscale in design compared to others, but it is clean, well maintained, and has everything you might need.

Been going to this gym for years. Staff is very friendly, the classes are good, enough equipment to do most exercises (though limits on quantity can bog things down), always clean. My only complaint is that paying for monthly parking(which is reasonably priced) is kind of a necessity depending on when you want to go, because finding street parking during the afternoon is essentially impossible. That's probably more of a complaint about Seattle, as opposed to the gym.

FHC is a really excellent gym with affordable rates - all the equipment you need to get healthy, and a ton of classes. Not only that, but it's a locally managed gym and the staff are just fantastic. Highly recommended!

24 hour access, clean and consistently well-maintained equipment, reasonable rates, and very friendly staff. I think it's a testament to both the staff and the integrity of the members using the equipment to not abuse the machines, and take prompt care in fixing them. I love that there's 24 hour access as sometimes the best end to a stressful shift is an hour and a half at the gym to decompress. Part of what I love about the gym is that it feels kind of tucked away/hidden, and you don't feel like you're on parade to be judged by the passerby walking by like other Seattle gyms. It's almost like a reward for being a local Fremont-ian. There are two smaller activity rooms where they have classes (though due to my schedule I haven't been able to attend any yet). Bathrooms are out in the hall, and the changing rooms are inside the gym, but are pretty small, though I've been fortunate to have maybe only had 6-9 people total in the gym when I've gone, and I always come already dressed down, so I've never found that to be a real issue for me, but I suppose it could be for some. I also can't remember if there was a shower in the changing room, but I don't believe there is one. Nevertheless, I live so close that I haven't been too upset about this particular amenity. In the gym, there's your standard weight and resistance machines, barbells, stability balls, medicine balls, hula hoops, step boxes, a punching bag/speed bag areas, dead-lift station, bench press, and a ton of free weights. There's multiple stair-climbers, stationary bikes, including 2 bikes with virtual reality screens; same goes for the ellipticals - many of which are iPod capable. There are 5 or 6 treadmills, and several TVs by the treadmills and free weights - all with accessible remotes for members to change the channels. You've also got two main areas where you can do floor mat exercises. If I had to come up with any major downside, it'd be that the Wifi isn't great. Even being password protected, and with hardly any members in the gym, I think I spent more time trying to buffer a song to load on Spotify than the length of the actual song. But to be fair, even the signs with the Wifi passwords admit that they're looking to improve it, so we'll see. So I've given up on the Wifi thing for now, and try to come more prepared with set playlists already downloaded on my phone, or begrudgingly use my 4G data.

FHC has a great community vibe and well maintained machines and equipment. There's not much you can't do here if you get a little creative and while the classes aren't my thing, friends say they are great. I like the free extras too, like towel service and lockers. Oh, and they have parking if you drive which can be pretty clutch.
