Coach Sione and his staff do an amazing job with the kids. Most places just cram a bunch of kids in these classes just for the money. Coach Sione and his staff take the time to teach each kid individually. The whole staff at UCTC make you feel comfortable and are very professional. I highly recommend for kids and Adults.

My boys have been doing the kids boxing class and since I was there anyway I figured I might as well use the time to attend the Burnout Kickboxing class. I mountain bike and cycle regularly and my main fitness goal is to lose weight to help improve my hill climbing speed on the bike. Kickboxing is a high intensity full body workout and I feel like it has improved my core strength and stability. It really has become the cherry on top of all my regular training, plus it's a ton of fun to punch and kick things. Heather Mills has a very fun and positive coaching style which helps motivate me to always work hard. I never fail to leave the gym dripping sweat with a huge smile on my face.

I was interested in kickboxing but a nervous to try. I signed up for a class with Ultimate Combat Training Center, I took my first class today and wow, I instantly fell in love with the place! The staff made me feel welcome and comfortable from the second I walked in the doors. I love the environment also of their spot, it is open, clean and had quality equipment. I will be signing up for a membership and can't wait to join this community!

This gym has some of the most patient and motivating trainers. I love their boxing classes for coach Sione. He knows the art of boxing and is passionate to teach it to you. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for boxing without Sione as my coach. I’ve also attended Olivia’s strength and conditioning classes and have seen such improvement in my form and my body. Her classes as well as her park workouts have helped me gain the endurance I need for boxing and feel overall strong. I’ve learned to read my body and she’s just excellent at training you to get where you want to be. Overall, love this gym! Great vibe and customer service. It’s like a big family.

I have been going to UCTC for about 2 years now and hands down best decision I have ever made. All the trainers are amazing and will take the time to get to know you as a person, teach you the right technique and they are all extremely patient. I have gained amazing friends from this gym, it has become a second home to me. The new gym is amazing, very clean and organized. We only planned to bring our boys here till rugby season starts in a few months. We’ve decided to leave them in boxing/ jiu jitsu and skip rugby till football season starts and then come back afterwards. We love the atmosphere and staff. It def feels more like a family! We plan to continue to bring our boys here long term.

I highly recommend Olivia's "strength & conditioning" class if you are looking to tone and stay healthy and or Sione's boxing class to gain that inner confidence and speed!

My wife and I both joined about 2 weeks ago! It has been nothing but great. Every instructor is personable and cares about you. They will make sure that you have good form and know what your doing. I love that we are all there for different reasons and no one feels judged at all! You are welcomed by not only the staff but by all the other people there to work out. It really does feel like one big family! I get a good work out every single time and it doesn't get boring at all!

This is a really great gym because of all of the different classes offered in one place, the Instructors are all great and friendly. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for any of the people at the front desk. When you walk into an establishment it is basic customer service 101 to A) Smile B) Make eye contact and C) Welcome or at the very least say hello to every customer that walks in. Honestly, if you hate people, please don’t opt for a front desk job Anywhere, as it is absolutely awful for business to have an unwelcoming, unfriendly front desk staff (you are the first impression of the business, essentially the face of it as well). Please ensure that the people offering memberships are also well informed of what the memberships entail and assist potential members in making the best choice, not just expect each to figure it out and take their money. Once again, the instructors are all awesome, friendly and professional - It is simply the front desk that is not personable or friendly.

I moved in to Salt Lake recently with my wife from Kuwait. I usually am a very active person and love working out. I drove past the gym one day and decided to give it a try. Next thing was I got a years membership and I have absolutely ZERO regrets. The trainers are awesome. The classes are so much fun, and each trainer will push you to your ultimate best. I am starting to notice a great difference and most importantly I feel so healthy. Everyone is very friendly, supportive and awesome. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to get in shape, meet amazing people and have fun along the way. Its a great place to meet new friends and have fun. Its more than a community, its a family.

I have been working out regularly at a large national gym for over a year now and have been able to loose some weight and and get in better condition, however my results had begun to plateau. After only a few workouts at UCTC with the "I Love Kickboxing" classes I experienced significant weight loss and I am finding more strength when doing my weight training. These workouts are awesome and really target my core and and cardiovascular conditioning. They have also improved my balance and swing on the golf course. I highly recommend these classes for anyone, young to old, male or female. They also make a great couples experience.

I love the instructor and the people there. Sione is awesome. Overall the staff is friendly and great. The only reason I am giving 4 and not 5 stars is that the owner needs to be more responsive. He doesn't respond to phone calls. Getting a response on email has also been difficult.

This gym is becoming my sanctuary! Love the trainers and the people! Awesome workouts and a huge support of your goals. They really care and treat you like family! I have been going to I Love Kickboxing since February 18, 2016 3-5 times a week. Kickboxing is my new favorite hobby, (I'm probably a bit addicted!) I have also tried the Muay Thia and the boxing classes too.... love them! I knew my hard work was really paying off when I went to go lift weights with a friend of mine 2 months later and have her notice the definition in my arms and be able to rock the hanging leg raise machine because of the strength in my abs I have been developing! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone who wants to get an incredible workout and feel like a bad ass while doing it!!!!!

I've never worked this hard in my life. It's incredible! I know all the reviews say how great the staff are but I have to say the same, you couldn't ask for a better group of people to lead the gym. Every class is different and pointers are always given during class to keep you safe and getting the best work out. I love this place, so glad I joined!

This is one of the best gyms I have signed up for. They offer a variety of classes such as kickboxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian jitsu, etc. I have only been trying the kickboxing classes and they are amazing. The instructors are very friendly and always push your limits. Each instructor has their own style and unique personality but they all share the same values - making sure the classes are fun, challenging and motivational! They also have gray playlists that cheer you up! You will see significant change in your body and strength after a couple months. The first class is free so you should give it a try! I'm sure you won't be able to resist and keep coming back ;)

I wanted to give myself a full month of coming to this gym before giving it a thorough review. Before coming to this gym, I've noticed that the majority of the negative reviews have been about the membership pricing and the contracts people signed. I will address that but I think the more important part of this review is actually how the classes are and how well they are. I've only been doing BJJ and Muay Thai so here we go. BJJ: I did not come in with experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. However, the staff were welcoming and also the more advanced students are very kind and helpful as well. It takes a good three months for things to start sticking and to start being able to use the techniques in a productive way. So I am taking classes almost everyday or 3 times a week to be able to actually learn it. The BJJ classes here are the No Gi and Gi class. The instructors are knowledgeable as well. They are happy to show you how to correctly do the technique. I also like the fact that the latest class for BJJ is at 8, so people getting off work late or whatever can come in and get some grappling in. The majority of the BJJ students are male, and it is a male dominated martial art, but don't let that intimidate you from doing this, because it is very fun and rewarding. Muay Thai: So I do have experience in Muay Thai from Easton in Denver. I've only done Muay Thai for two years at Easton so my critique of Ultimates program is going to align with how Easton is run. Personally, I think Ultimates Muay Thai program and the way that it is ran could improve. I think that they should separate the newer people into a beginners Muay Thai/kickboxing class like Easton does, that way we can avoid injuries and improper form. I noticed that in Ultimates Muay Thai classes, the beginners or newer people struggle with holding the Thai pads which can be dangerous. Also I think it's a good foundation, if there were a beginners class, that the newer people can learn hot to kick and punch properly. I notice some people still don't kick or punch properly so i would love to just have more opportunities and workshops to fix those things. Even after two years I struggle with those things. At Easton, they incorporated a lot of Muay Thai in their kickboxing programs, and then once students felt good then they moved onto Muay Thai. I also took their sparring class, and it was okay, however I did not know the level of difficulty and intensity people were going for and I found out quick that this was an intense sparring session. I would love for them to perhaps introduce a tech sparring course to ease people into sparring all out because again, I think it can pose a danger for someone who is under trained. I am being bias here but I would love for them to adopt Easton's training program but that's just me! Lol Membership: I was properly explained about the membership and pricing by the manager and understood what I was getting into. I think a lot of the misconceptions come from miscommunication and lack of speaking up when there is an issue. You sign a contract, so make sure to read it carefully. I know gyms in general have a bad reputation because of sketchy contracts but I didn't see that happening at this gym. The pricing is also pretty reasonable for a martial arts gym, and they offer a lot of classes. Obviously it is cheaper if you do the 12 month contract, they want to lock you in so your a member for life kind of deal. Overall, the gym is great. It's family oriented, people are friendly, and the atmosphere is fun and friendly. They also recently expanded their space so there's a lot more room to play.

Kickboxing has changed my life. The staff is awesome, always finding ways to keep you motivated. Every day I look forward in attending the class, it’s the perfect way to have some fun while you tone and shed those pounds. Not only have I lost weight but I'm toning at the same time. I was getting really bored with my gym so my friend said that I go with her to Ultimate Combat Training Center's kickboxing classes. I enjoyed it so much that I quit my gym membership and take kickboxing classes regularly now! I've noticed results in just a few weeks and I feel better than ever! I love that I'm learning self defense moves while getting a great workout. I highly recommend to all!!

I've been going to UCTC since Feb 2015 and I love it!! It has helped reduce my stress levels with work, caring for my 91-year old mother with Alzheimer's, and the general stresses of life. I would recommend anyone who wants to have fun, relieve stress, and meet some wonderful people, to join. Awesome trainers who will encourage you, tease you, and help you with anything. I wish I had done this sooner!!

This place has a great atmosphere the people are great very motivating people I started here about a year ago and have lost over 60 pounds and am now in the best shape of my life. The Muay Thai class with nick is so awesome you get a great workout plus learn how to defend your self and with Freddy I believe that is how you spell his name he breaks down each movement of strikes to improve your technical performance, the jiu Kitsu class is also a great experience learning to defend your self on the ground and really improves your core strength, the Boxing class with sione is really really fun it plus it is a great workout. And the owner is a really great guy mike and aj had made an amazing place where it feels like a second home and a really big bad ass family:).

Have been going now for about 3 months. I love it. Great workout, lost of different classes, quality management, quality people. Not sure what the jerk off who gave it 1 star and said nothing is here for. And the other guy who is clearly a competitor or some other self serving ahole, should not be allowed by Google to rate a place he has never been. The owners and instructors are awesome people who are kind and care about their customers. I have seen nothing to suggest otherwise. If you do come in and take a class, ask anyone there what they think, I am pretty sure I am not alone on this..Just don't listen to some loser who has never been there.

I have been coming here since last may. I was a bit nervous because I have a hip condition, but they helped to develop exercises that I could do that would strengthen my hip. It has become a second home and I feel a lot stronger inside and out because I took a chance on something new. BTW: I have no hip pain anymore and have more stability when I move because I took the time to strengthen the area with their help. I love the new schedule because it provides so many opportunities for me to go.It's my new mini-family that helps and supports us in all that we do, not just in our exercising. It's more than a gym, it's a big fun crazy family!

Best place ever! I've been training here for about six months and the changes I've seen in my body is incredible, not only have I lost weight but I'm also getting definition! Attending any of the classes offered here (Kickboxing, Boxing, Muay Thai, Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, MMA) are much more fun than going to a regular gym with the same ol' routine. The trainers are extremely helpful, friendly, and motivating and the members are friendly and encouraging, as well. Not only are you getting a great workout, but you're meeting new friends too! The schedule at UCTC allows you to get your workout in at anytime of the day. You can start your day at UCTC and end it there too! They also hold theme nights once a month that you can dress up for. It's super fun to go to! If you're looking for a new, high-energy workout, I highly recommend UCTC! Be prepared to get your sweat on and have a great time while doing it!

Equipped for all your training needs, if you want to do MMA, boxing, BJJ, muay thai, you can get it all from the UCTC. Every class is like having your own personal trainer with out paying 60+ dollars an hour for it. Amazing results and you will love every minute, even when you feel like dying.

Let me say this, the building is nice with good equipment and the tools you need to train hard and get the job done. The front desk lady though, don't even remember her name, she put a bad taste in my mouth from the beginning. I dropped in on the place on recommendation and felt alienated almost immediately. I'm going to tell you why I felt this way. I came to the school only to check out the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program. I informed the front desk lady of this...maybe her name was Olivia? Anyway, I informed her that I'm new in town and just wanted to see the class and watch which she somehow interpreted as me wanting to train that day. I clarify that no, I just want to observe the class. She gets it finally, then gives me a tour of the gym, which is a nice place!!! However I don't care about the rest, I'm just here for the BJJ. She introduces me to a female instructor who seemed nice but seemed like she felt she had more important things to do. Then I was introduced to a black belt who was teaching fundamentals and he gave me the treatment I expect when looking at BJJ schools. He was courteous, curious and engaging. I observed the class and it was a solid BJJ setting with a good vibe. Overall, the issue I had with the place really was the vibe. As a long time BJJ practitioner who has trained at gyms all over the world, the vibe I got here from the front desk lady was one of pure business, a bit of what came off as stuck up arrogance and total cluelessness to BJJ etiquette for practitioners visiting a gym for the first time wanting to meet fellow jiujiteiros and what not haha. I would recommend the place based off what I saw, but based off of the sterile business focus vibe and negative vibe i received from front desk lady, its not somewhere I feel I'd want to train personally. So take this review for what its worth. Seems like a great place to train and if you like it, then hey, go for it, OSSSSSSS

I burn an average of 650-700 calories an hour in the Sunday morning class with Matt W. It’s a solid push for whatever level of fitness you may be. He’ll take you to church! The instructors, who are always friendly and helpful, break down the combos for beginners in both the Fitness kickboxing and the Muay Thai classes, which focus on more form and combat specificity.

My name is David, and I am currently looking for a place to learn Militarized Combative training without having to join the military. Kind of like Bill Wolfe's training in Alberta Canada (I would name a US company, but I do not want to advertise within this review). But as I was perusing the reviews, I realized that "Jack Frost" and "Andres Campos" gave reviews that were a little unfair. So, I wanted to give a 5-star because I admire the response from the owner, that looks and sounds genuine. I have never been in a physical quarrel in my life, except for against my brother, and I feel like now is the time to learn some things, in addition to dancing, which I am terrible at. I am a patriot through and through and kind of want to get good at ground fighting, and self-defense... thoughts? Recommendations?
