I come here twice a week in the morning. The management staff is amazing. The other day, there was an issue with one of the cars in the parking lot and the front desk employee talked to every single person in the gym till he found the owner so they were aware of what was going on. Today, I left my headphones on the treadmill and the same employee was so friendly and helped me find them. I love it here - would never go to another gym.

This was an amazing gym! I loved how when I signed up the manager was kind friendly and more than happy to help me. I was sad to leave because I’m moving, but Kaden was more than happy to help me cancel. I felt no pressure to sign up, to stay or anything. 10/10 will join another planet fitness in the future.

I love this location, the employees in the front desk are nice and always ready to help me when I need. I wish It could have pools. but the Water Massage chair is amazing!!!

This is really well taken care of compared to the Planet Fitness that is right down on 4th south. It's spacious and the layout is well designed and thought out. The Black Card Spa is really very nice has many of the amenities found in more expensive gyms. There is also a leather seating area to sit and relax after your workout. The cleanliness of the fitness area is fantastic, and great in the locker room. I have yet to see any serious concerns. Overall, this gym has renewed my faith in PF I only wish that the 4th south location looked and felt like this one. For now I will continue to drive past one PF location en route to this location.

Great gym, especially for the price. I go after midnight when there's not many people there. The employees are great and friendly, and the place is always pretty much spotlessly clean. Good selection of free weights and machines as well. You won't be setting any body building records by going here, but it's pretty much perfect for starting out or maintaining.

This Planet Fitness isn't so bad, lots of space and plenty of machines to use. The time I went wasn't busy at all and that made the workout all the better. Unlike its counterpart downtown, I recommend this location over the downtown location which is to small, always busy and not enough space to move around in.

Awesome gym, taken the best of all the predecessors (i.e. other big national gyms). One recommendation: drill a small hole in your water bottle holders. There was a bit of water trapped in one, ruined my phone...

Friend recently informed me about the reputation surrounding PF - but I can’t really find any faults. Unbeatable price for the basic plan. Good gym in starting my fitness journey. I love that it’s never that packed & all around clean. Friendly staff. Only wish they had more of those Smith machines. For Cardio & free weights it’s def all I need.

You already know! Gotta get that pump in tho! I spend a good amount of time here, and progressing like the beast I'm meant to be! What is life if you're not fully mentally and physically healthy? Not for me, that's for sure! Planets but bad at all doe, free massage beds, and tanning... Love the tanning cause I ain't trying to be all see through white and ish.. So ya, improve your life! We only get this one, and the healthier mind and body, even the better yo!! Operation stop being so lazy is just a membership away!!

I rarely ever come across an HONEST GYM. This gym in south salt lake exceeded my expectations by 100%. I’m thankful they have great management who actually cares about the health of the community an dedicated to provide such a great spot to workout! They also don’t do no charge backs or shady billing tactics to your bank account. But I only recommend everyone to stay alert with the remaining funds in their account so they give you a fee for not being able to charge your bank. So far this gym has been honesty and professional. The people are great, they clean the equipment regularly abiding to COVID protocol. And the equipment looks new. This is the first time Planet Fitness has made such a refreshing impression to me. Thank you to the staff for staying dedicated!!

Clean, friendly people work here. I like the variety of work out equipment this place offers. First time here and I wasn’t disappointed. I like that they’re open 24 hours. I’ve only been here in the AM so not sure how the crowd is in the PM. Only 1 suggestion for anyone coming here: don’t leave anything in your vehicle that might attract a smash and grab opportunity. This morning I saw 3 different places in the parking lot where there were piles of broken glass.

I loved going here but then I moved and had asked then to cancel my membership and apparently it's was never cancelled and I just got a notification ten months later saying I owed over 150.00 in fees and the girl I spoke with was very rude and unhelpful and threatened to hang up on me because I was upset and wanted to speak to her manager... Thankfully I did hold to speak to the manager and everything was resolved but I think they should have done class on customer service for the reps so as to not make a bag situation even worse. Thank you to whoever the manager was for being so helpful and resolving this issue for me .

UPDATE: So I guess the hours just updated and reduced to what's called 24/5, specifically Friday now closes at 9pm and Sat/Sun at 7pm. This is a bummer since I like to go later after the work rush, which can last until 8pm which gives me less than an hour to squeeze my workout in. This is also a bummer for Sunday since I like to get in a late evening workout when nobody is around, but with them closing at 7pm I'm no longer able to do that. With that said, I still really enjoy coming here and I understand if financially it doesn't make sense to keep 24/7 hours, but it's a bummer non the less. But I'll keep the 5/5 rating for the reasons below. Lots of machines, good atmosphere, everything is nice and clean and the staff are always really friendly which is awesome!

As a Planet Fitness Black Card member, this is the best PF I've been to. It feels very clean and big and I can (usually) get to any weights or machine that I want without having to wait. I go in the early mornings. Great facility and friendly staff.

Great workout place!! Everything is well spaced and organized. It doesn't feel cramped and not too many people when I went. Was a nice quiet environment and everyone social distances and machinery and equipment well spaced for it. There's a lot of cool member benefits that provide multiple different things from tanning, to body healing and what not for the membership that just costs a little more but worth all the perks.. even free trainer on scheduled classes are included.. It's also open 24 hours als so its just all around amazing!!!

Absolutely love my gym. The attendants are kind and helpful. I just wish we had a push sled. The black card amenities are worth it especially since I travel so much. Update: Flexible post COVID policies, still have a great staff, PF South Salt Lake is still my go to. Clean facility, but I still would like a sled and a hex bar...a girl can wish

Very nice atmosphere, machines are very clean and well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and will help. The social distancing is very good they limit 1-2 treadmills between people. I'm very happy with being a member here!

I am amazed at this location. I CONSISTENTLY feel like I get royal treatment. I'm a great-grandma and get confused at times...but there is always kind help available. I have always been treated with the utmost respect. As a bonus, it's super clean and filled with extra nice gym goers!

I have been going to Planet Fitness for years. I love the atmosphere and the people who work their their personal trainer is awesome!! Since COVID they have done a great job making sure everyone stays safe, by adding distancing between usable machines, requiring masks, cleaning surfaces, and so much more. I workout best when I can do it with other people. I don't feel their COVID precautions have caused any negative to this. My only issue is that with this pandemic I have had to work more and have not been able to get in almost everyday as I used to. I always feel up lifted and confident after working out at Planet Fitness. It is such a great environment.

Great planet fitness and I have been to a lot of planet fitness around the country. Staff is super friendly and the place is always spotless. It's relatively new so all the machines are new and there is a ton of space. There are four Smith machines and even when they're all taken, I usually only have to wait 5 minutes before someone is done. Big spacious weight area, tons of ab machines, basically everything you could want!

UPDATE: increasing to 3 stars from the initial 1 star i gave because Preston called me back and told me he’d refund the full balance i was owed after i posted this review. He rudely still told me that i “can’t prove i came in to cancel so he’s taking my word for it” even after he made me figure out the exact day that i was there to cancel so that he could “review the cameras.” It should not take a bad review to do the right thing for hour customers, and you shouldn’t treat your customers like criminals if you really can just look at the cameras to find out the truth. Just so the right thing in the first place. I shouldn’t have to fight for my money in the middle of a pandemic because your employee messed up. Original post: I cancelled my membership in July after they finally reopened, and was till charged for every single month until November. When I called to have it fixed, there was never a manager available to talk to about having it refunded. I was always told that either Preston or Zack (assistant manager and manager) would call me back to handle the situation, but never received a call, so I had to call back every single day for over a week, because every day I was told there wouldn’t be a manager and they’d call me back. When I FINALLY got a the assistant supervisor Preston on the phone, he told me he would only refund some of them because I can’t prove that I came in to cancel. I can’t prove it because they never provided me anything saying I cancelled, because it turned out they never cancelled me in the first place. How was I supposed to know that normally they give an email? When I asked if it was cancelled, I was only told “it’s taken care of” by the person at the desk. Poor customer service, zero follow up with customers, and incompetence by staff who supposedly cancelled me, but ultimately still cost me over $200 more in charges AFTER I cancelled. Go to a different planet fitness if you must. Another brand entirely is preferable. But Zack and Preston at this location are crooks. (By the way, I STILL haven’t gotten an email confirming I was cancelled)

I'm a Black Card member and use this club plus 2 others. The staff here is most helpful. Plenty of machines to keep the 6' rule. It was difficult during April, May during shutdown to keep the healthy exercise program going. I'm thankful to have PF available to stay healthy.

The new facility is fantastic. I have a black card and found myself traveling to other PF locations although their old locatoin was closer to me. It was small, crouded, never could get to equpiment I wanted. This place is really great, Bravo, well done. Great equipment selections, clean facility. I always see staff wiping down machines and stocking gym goers needs like paper towels. There is space to do functional training outside of standard gym equipment which I really appreciate. The large ceiling fans are really nice in the cardio area to keep air flowing when working up a sweat. The locker rooms are more than ample. The showers and changing rooms could be kept a quite a bit clearner.. But overall, they've exceeded my expectations and am thrilled to have a PF super close to my work!

The facilities here are very nice and new I have no complaints at all. I moved to this location because it is a short 5 minute drive from my work so I can go work out at the end of my work day. My one and only complaint comparing it to my old Tville location is the employees in the evening when I'm there from 5 to 7 pm. These girls are lifeless, dull and unhelpful. They do not greet you or say anything when you leave. Such a bummer because besides that its the perfect gym. Who put these girls up front? I work with the public, love what I do and always have a smile on my face, you wont see that from those two.

Great gym! I love this gym. It's in a convenient location, and Planet Fitness has the most reasonable membership prices I've ever seen. I also like how involved this location is with the community - I see them doing fundraisers and drives a couple times a year. The only downside with this location is the difficulty in finding a parking spot at times. I blame that more on the location in general - it's in the middle of a shopping complex, and when Cafe Rio took a spot across from the gym the entire parking complex got a lot more crowded.

10 bucks a month and I never go. That is my fault though. I lack the motivation. The price is great though and so are the facilities. At least I'm not paying 30 a month somewhere else to not go to the gym. I call it a win in my book and that is that. No complaints about it from me. If you plan on actually going to the gym, there is a lot to offer, so I would say it is worth it.

This gym is my happy place, I don't understand how anyone could write a bad review! No hidden fees, excellent customer service- seriously every employee is more than willing to help with any questions about payments or general questions about how to use equipment. This gym is clean and never once have I walked up to broken equipment or had to wait to use anything. They have tanning beds, red light therapy, massage chairs, and a hydro massage lay down bed! However I would really like to see this place get a sauna and a pool and then they would truelly have my heart! Love working out here, will always be my favorite part of the day!

This gym is heckin' nice. I was sad when i found out it's further away from my home but the new equipment and cozy interior make up for it. The staff is friendly and helpful and the new equipment doesnt have any issues so far. I hope the members take good care of this new location. Everything is in great condition. When this gym moved it kept my review of the old location so I have updated it to reflect this new location on 635 s 3300 e.

I love this gym. The location is great for me. I’m not looking for a social experience when I workout, just the opportunity for a good workout - both cardio and resistance and this gym provides it. My complaint is that the owners don’t invest in their business. The gym needs remodeling and additional machines -TRX, stair-stepper, etc. The massage chairs have seen better days. It’s been this way for a while.

I've been a member at this location on and off for the past couple years. No issues with billing, the facility is clean, and the staff are kind and welcoming. Cancelling is easy and never a hassle. Does get busy during peak hours and I wish they had a stair master. Overall, it has been a good experience.

I love Planet Fitness the reason why I like it so much is because they have several different locations and I can go to any of them. they also have the black room which allows me to go back and get massages I can get a HydroMassage, and I can also get a massage in a chair. I can have unlimited massages with my membership. I probably go at least 10 times a month, at times I'll go 15. The staff here is great, knowledgeable about the equipment. they show they really care about their patrons. You also have a personal trainer available to you as long as you make an appointment. Thank God I didn't go to Vasa

I've been here for over a year, and it's a perfect fit for me. The whole "judgment-free zone" culture feels like a real thing. Everyone there just focuses on their own thing, and nobody is there to outdo anybody else. As someone who just wants to stay fit and isn't looking to get ripped, I enjoy it. Staff is nice, equipment is always clean and working, and there is a full wall of televisions set at different channels. Good place for a good price, and great for the average joe looking to stay in shape.

I would like to especially point out a gentleman named James at the front desk here in Millcreek. What an amazing person, not only is he on top of the cleanliness of Planet but he goes above and beyond to ensure I have a positive experience. I highly recommend the Millcreek location exclusively due to staff and the clean atmosphere.

Wish they would take out a chunk of cardio machines to make more room for abs/stretching, that area is always crammed. Other than that, great gym! I never have to fight for space or worry about getting on a broken machine. Locker rooms are private and clean, staff is always nice

It's good, better than Vasa, maybe not as good as 24 Hour was, but it's kept clean and maintained, which is a breath of fresh air, the staff is very nice, and they have a great non-lunk attitude. I just wish they had a better selection of machines based on a sequential workout per body area.

Not the best maintained PF I've been to. The few pieces of equipment you can put plates on are always left a mess. Plates are left on for the next user to have to remove. Employees (not all, there are a couple hard working ones) just stand there and leave it. It's great they have an actual leg press (unlike many other PFs) but oh wait, there are a bunch of plates on it no matter what time of day you come. Want to use the Black Card member area for tan or massage I would recommend cleaning before use. Also, the doors don't lock so anyone can walk in and steal your stuff or walk in on you tanning. Other than that there is a lot of equipment, dumbbells go heavier than most PF locations which is nice (up to 75lbs). If you're a fan of the PF dress code, it isn't highly enforced here. Tanya, the manager, is really good. She listenes when I expressed my concerns and was willing to work with me on a membership issue. She was very professional. Keeping it cleaner and more organized would get the review 4 stars.

Always greeted with smiles and asking how I am & not in a (it's my job to ask way) it's always clean and never busy. They go out of way to help out when needed as well. I wish they would rotate workout machines with the other pf gyms so everyone can changed up their workouts . I go to all the pf depending where im at that day or of I know I want a certain workout I will go to the gym with that equipment _just hate driving for that reason_ But overall there's always pros & cone to every gym!

Restrooms are awesome. Place is clean. Only downside is your machines are not connected to the internet. I have the life fitness app and tried to scan the codes to sign in on them and none of them were connected to the internet. What gives??

Weird place. Joined because my work hours increased exponentially and I needed something super convenient with flexible hours. It’s strange because they don’t have basic gym equipment, such as squat racks (only smith machines) and stair masters (but they do have like 50 treadmills). It’s convenient and nothing is objectively wrong with it. Just weird.

Don't tell anyone but this is the most laid back Planet Fitness. I travel from Downtown Salt Lake just for this location. Equipment and beds are always available. Just wish they'd switch from paper towels to hand dryers

Hours listed say 24 hours a day. Even on the door of the gym it says 24 hours a day Monday-Friday. This is not true, the gym closes earlier on Friday and is not open 24 hours a day on the weekend. It’s a fine gym and the manager Zach is great, but I wish the listed hours were correct as I’ve shown up and the gym is closed before.

This planet fitness location is great - the staff is friendly, overall very clean, and aside from a few peak times during the day, it’s not too crowded. The only bad part about this location is the parking, too many businesses sharing the parking lot.

The best thing about this gym is the giant industrial fan that spans about a third of the ceiling. It keeps the cardio area so cool which makes running so much easier. They have dumbells, Smith machines, cable machines, and a 30 minute circuit area. For cardio, they have treadmills, ellipticals, different kinds of bikes, and gliders. The gym is clean and the staff is friendly. They have plenty of cleaning stations across the gym

Well today (08/20/16) they decided to close early for a staff party. Which that's good they're showing appreciation for their staff. But the they're typically open till 7pm, they decided to close at 5pm. Sorta irked me a little, since it's not a holiday. And they could've just as easily just stayed open normal hours and had their party at 7pm which is a reasonable time. But instead they've decided to alienate customers who are paying a membership fee to have access to the facility and equipment during business hours. I'm probably going to start looking at VASA.

This location has GOT to get more (2-3 more) spin bikes (there is only 1, and it’s almost always being used), a hip flexor machine, and at least 2 rowing machines. Also needs a set of medicine balls in the stretching area in the back. There’s more than enough ellipticals to swap out for these additional options. I live right by here, and I would give this great location 5 stars if they would expand their workout options with these additional machines. I’ve been to other PF locations, they can do it.... c’mon Millcreek!

Comparing this gym to the Sugarhouse 24 hour fitness I hope will prove useful to someone. 1. Cleaner (inside & out) ...even when busy! 2. More fans to keep you cool 3. Tanning 4. Much more parking and street lights to moderate traffic. Instead of just one stop sign. Who wants to wait in traffic after working out? These are the pros when considering the Millcreek PF over the Sugarhouse 24. Both locations have had reported vehicle break-ins so lock your ride and personal items while working out, duh! Oh and anyone who doesn't take the time to review your contract before signing is foolin...just glance over the sentences that have the "$" sign in them. If you want a gym that charges more per month and is really crowded and dirty, but hey! It'll be open all the time with optional aerobic classes, childcare, a pool, sauna, and hot tub then by all means sign up at 24.

The staff at the front desk involve playing on their personal phone. After my work out trying to get the staff to answer a question they were no where to be found. There where several others waiting to get help also. And some members just left upset.
