Do you want a top of the line gym? Yes! Do you want a top of the line gym where the owners, management, trainers and staff are interactive? Yes. This is what makes Foleys different than any other gym out there. Mike and Joe are on the floor non stop smiling, encouraging you to keep pushing forward. Dana and Adam make sure to say hi every time even if they are super busy. It’s such a welcoming and evolving gym. 10/10 hands down.

The gym itself is one of the finest and largest around. All of the equipment is always kept in pristine condition. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. It is by far the best gym in the area.

This is the nicest gym I have personally ever been too. The guidance that is available to help you achieve your fitness goals is second to none. The facility is very clean, professional and always in great working order. They offer everything from allowing you to work out alone or group fitness classes to nutrition and personal training services. I highly recommend everyone check out this gym you will not be disappointed!

I joined Foley’s a year ago and its been the only gym I’ve actually enjoyed being at. Tons of equipment, squat racks, free weights, steam room and sauna and much more. The atmosphere is supportive and welcoming, not to mention the cafe is so good! The staff is very helpful and kind, same goes with the members. I’ve actually asked a couple strangers to help me with equipment that i was unfamiliar with using to help me and they did and were super nice about it! (They also have staff that can show you how to use the equipment if need be, I just chose to struggle like an idiot😂) Ive been to NXGen, Planet Fitness, Saco Sport and Fitness, and even a local gym by my house, nothing has kept me going like Foley’s. 15/10 recommend! 👍🏽

I cannot say enough positive remarks about how much I love Foley’s - the friendly and professional and passionate staff, the cleanliness, the space, equipment, and the wholistic approach to health (nutrition, etc.). It is also so nice to see such a diverse population all focused on health and well-being. I feel so fortunate to have found Foley’s and love being a member! ❤️

Truly the best fitness center I've ever been apart of, it absolutely checks every box for the things that make a gym great. Cleanliness, organization, friendly staff and friendly people in attendance always. The equipment is top notch and is almost never broken, they have everything repaired immediately. No need to look elsewhere for your fitness needs. Thanks for making it such a great fitness experience.

Foley’s is the best gym in our area! It is well organized with plenty of equipment. It’s cleanliness is second to none. They have plenty of staff and the owners are always visible on the floor! The members are very friendly. It gives me the experience I am looking for in a gym!

Hands down one of the best gyms I have ever been to. After training at Foleys for about two years (and at one point commuting from Augusta,ME 5 days a week to train at Foleys), I now live in San Diego and I can honestly say, Foley's is better than ANYTHING out here in my area. The equipment at Foley's is top notch and always clean. The layout of the facility is brilliant and well spaced. Rarely do you have to wait for equipment to be available during your training sessions. The atmosphere caters to experienced bodybuilders as well as novice lifters. Truly one of a kind fitness center. If you're considering getting a gym membership, don't make a mistake, don't hesitate, go to Foley's!

Cant say enough good things about this gym. I encourage all my friends to go here. By far, I think its the nicest cleanest gym in Southern Maine or Maine in general. Not only clean, but doesnt smell bad, alot of equipment thats well maintained and most important a great atmosphere. Iv struggled with consistently going to the gym but foleys is the only gym I ENJOY going to.

If you grew up in the late 70s and 80s and were inspired to lift your heart out by watching Rocky and Pumping Iron; over playing your ACDC, Survivor or any “feel the burn” movie soundtrack cassette than welcome home! The gym is just like you remember with a mix of old school machines and free weights with the addition of the latest and greatest technology (think Ivan Drago). The gym is huge with lots of windows, high ceilings and tons of equipment which is easily accessible. This is a very clean facility with plenty of classes, trainers and a nice area to relax where they offer you protein shakes and more. Mike Foley is the real deal, loves what he does and will customize a nutrition plan for your specific needs; it works if you just show up and make a commitment to a more fit and healthy you. The minute you walk in the staff is friendly and those working out range from respectful young professionals, to older folks like me who appreciate a touch of old school but excited to learn something new without injury. The price is competitive and very reasonable based on all the talking points within this review.

I was NEVER a fitness buff or gym go-er before Foleys. I joined because my roommate had joined but it made me fall in love with fitness. Foley's is more then a gym, its FOLEY'S! They have a culture and energy here that I've never felt anywhere else. Everyone is there to reach their own personal goals and it makes you want to push yourself even more. Mike and Joe are so humble and friendly. They say hello to every person and make the time to talk to all sorts of different members- from moms, to body builders, to people like me! Their smoothie bar is so convenient and affordable! All members are so respectful and great at wiping everything down. They have done an amazing job at keeping a humble and supportive atmosphere at Foley's. Top trainers, amazing class selections, HUGE top-of-the-line facility, and did I mention a sauna AND a steam room?!

Foley's Fitness has so much to offer to all ages. It has state of the art equipments. You will not ever get bored working out. If you just want to use the equipments, attend work out classes, including spin classes(my personal favorite). It has such friendly atmosphere! Thank you Mike Foley for your vision! It's a complete fitness center. We joined as a family of 4 since it opened.

Great, high quality equipment, including pieces from brands like Arsenal strength, however, I wish the hours were better. Especially on weekends, closing at 7 is just too early. I’d love to have 24/7 access, and at least up to midnight would be nice.

I’m not one to usually write reviews. I had a 7 month stay in the Portland Maine area for work and was lucky enough to cross paths with Foleys fitness center. Awesome staff and a fantastic Gym environment. Even if it’s slightly out of your way, I highly recommend joining this gym.

Just joined 2 days ago and it was the best gym I've been to yet. Very clean, tons of equipment with free weights, lots of new cardio equipment. Staff was also very nice and helpful. 5 stars!

I met the owners today. Very nice guys who shared a lot on what they're bringing to Scarborough. Complete free weight selections, turf with sleds, a wide variety of machines, spinning class and more. Memberships are a great value at this time and they will be open at 4 am on weekdays for those who have no time once the rest of the world is up and working. Foley's will be another great fitness option in Scarborough.

State of the art facility, very clean and comfortable workout environment! The protein shakes are amazing, little on the pricey side but it was so good I didn't care. Very convenient to have a smoothie bar on site if you forget your protein. Will be returning for sure and I highly recommend checking it out!

I watched via Facebook Mike's journey in opening his dream gym. Then, BOOM, Covid happened. I felt so badly for him and his team. But, today I went and did the "Boot Camp" with Kristi and I couldn't have been more impressed. Everyone is mindful of distancing, everyone is wiping down equipment after use, and the class itself was simply amazing. I just know I'll be sore tomorrow, which I love. Great organization, stunning facility, clean as a whistle, employees are constantly cleaning surfaces, staff is mindful and the clientele are all so friendly and encouraging. I plan to do the boot camp every Saturday morning for the foreseeable future. And once Covid is over (if it's ever over) I plan to join the gym and get a private trainer. My hours are strange, I get off work at 2:00 during the week, so there really aren't classes at that time. So, private trainer will have to be the way. And, I'm quite excited and looking forward to getting back into amazing shape. Thank you Foley's Fitness for giving me the encouragement I needed.

Easy access to Route 1 and the I-95. Parking lot has enough spaces for the busiest times of the day. Facility is very large and there is no wait time for machines as well as free weights. Crossfit/Powerlifting area is very spacious as well as the area for classes on the turf. Great Job, Mike!

Whatever your fitness need, your nutritional goals you can make progress at Foley's. I work with Pam Bither who has changed my life and given me a great quality of life. Foley's is head and shoulders above alternatives.

Having worked in the fitness Industry for the last 15+ years, this gym values their members, goes above and beyond with customer service and shows appreciation for their employees. With Covid, they were prompt in their response and quickly modified things to make everyone feel safe. They have done wonders for the community.

Great gym, great atmosphere, great equipment. Sauna, steam room, turf. Try to avoid 5-7pm on weekdays, it can get a little too busy to tolerate.

I recently sighted up for foleys fitness center and the layout it nicely spaced out. The equipment is top notch, the staff is always friendly and willing to answer questions you have. Mike Foley the owner is very nice to talk to and super knowledgeable about food and nutrition. I would highly recommend this fitness center to anyone looking to get more in tune with fitness knowledge.
