Amazing workout and lovely space! The instructors are fun and motivating. They give clear directions and help to correct form when needed. Toughest workout I’ve done! Also I love the atmosphere while you’re working out.

You will feel strong, challenged & accomplished every class. The instructors are so dynamic & welcoming. Great people each class & all fitness levels. It's not the average studio/gym. You'll be obsessed with the sensation of the neon lights! No windows, no mirrors or clocks to distract you - just you & your machine. It's therapeutic af & combats the gloomy Oregon days with a fun atmosphere & hype music. I've been going to Chromacore for about a year now when it was a pop up studio & have been hooked ever since. Now that the new studio is open I'm even more hooked.

This is an amazing workout! The front desk staff are very warm and welcoming and the instructor, Mia was so friendly and helpful for this first timer. I consider myself fairly fit but discovered after one class how many muscle groups I had not even touched. This is an all body workout! The studio space is clean and bright. I definitely would recommend Firebrand Sports to anyone looking for a quality workout experience.

Hands down the best Lagree Pilates studio in all of Portland! I am obsessed with this studio, due to both the awesome workout you get and the truly wonderful instructors. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and you get a great low impact total body workout. Chromacore has multiple master Lagree instructors who really know what they are doing and make sure you have correct form for maximum burn!

I was so excited to get into this drop in class at Firebrand during my business trip! I hadn’t been back since the start of the pandemic and I felt super comfortable and confident in the safety practices at the gym. Communication is always responsive and the instructors know their stuff! I LOVE CHROMACORE <3 There’s no workout like it. It’s very challenging, I sweat a lot, and afterward, I feel amazing and can’t wait to go back! I've been going for about six months now, and my core and squat form/strength have really-really improved. I used to tip over doing squats when trying to go low and had lower back pain during core exercises, but not anymore ;) 100% because of these classes. Recently my boyfriend has been going to improve his squat form too. I highly recommend going to each of the coach’s classes because they each have their style. They're all so friendly, welcoming, and attentive to your form, which I appreciate so much. They will offer alternative options for less or more intensity so any level can get the most out of the workout. 100000% addicted!

Love this place. They are so kind and welcoming and they made me feel like a regular from my 2nd visit. Nicole is great at giving cues if you're newer, and Sydney has really kicked my butt with difficult workouts. I started doing Lagree consistently when I lived in Chicago, and I generally highly recommend the workout! Firebrand in particular has such a welcoming community that I really love coming here.

The attention to detail at this club is fantastic. We were greeted by friendly staff and they even written our names on some lockers for us and left a small thank you card inside. I loved how they were working with other small businesses for pop ups. There was a woman offering tea samples in the lobby when we left and a good selection of cool clothing by another company. The artwork was fresh and the environment inviting. I look forward to taking more classes here in the future. It was the unique fitness experience I was craving.

Firebrand is amazing! All the instructors are incredible! I appreciate their focus on form in every class. I am hooked to the rowing classes and am starting to get into Lagree more (which is a crazy hard but fantastic workout!!!) I loved the personnel, the size of the facilities, the instructors were great, and the workouts were excellent. I was able to pay a flat rate for unlimited 2 weeks to squeeze in 3 workouts for my short 3.5 day trip to Portland for a conference. Nothing like a Nitro class in the morning to get my brain charged for a day of learning!

The Team at Firebrand was incredibly welcoming and you can tell they really care about and enjoy what they do. I took a class (with my coworkers from Tangelo) taught by Sara, and she was vey attentive to all participants, but especially to those of us who were new to Lagree - her attentiveness made me feel comfortable, safe, and confident. The facility is very clean and Firebrand is taking additional precautions for COVID to ensure a safe environment for employees and clients alike. As somebody whose workouts largely incorporate HIIT and endurance training, I can see how Lagree would be a great addition to my fitness routine.

If you want to get fit and get your ass kicked this is the place to do it. Legree Fitness is unlike any other workout you'll find and is never the same. Urban Rowing is a great cardio, zero impact workout and the Cycle classes are on the most unique bikes you'll ever use in a spin class. Great and professional instructors, friendly staff, clean and welcoming space, you will walk out of there feeling exhausted and accomplished every time

Firebrand Sports is an incredible fitness studio. Classes are intense and never exceed 45 minutes. They offer Lagree Fitness, which has been an incredible discovery. For cardio, I usually take their rowing class and if you need HIIT, they offer a creative and fun session called Triple Threat. The instructors are each unique in their approach and much can be gained from taking a class with each one of them. There is always someone smiling and greeting at the door. I highly recommend this fitness studio!

The Lagree classes are a great mix of cardio and Pilates, and the Firebarre and Urban Row classes have been an awesome addition to my cardio workouts. I started coming here on Class Pass for the Lagree class and feel in love. The instructors are amazing, friendly, attentive, helpful, encouraging, and knowledgable. Being a member here has changed my fitness level and kept me on track. I also love that the classes are smaller so you really get to interact with the instructors and meet people in class. If you have questions or need help they are always there 10 min before class to help. The classes they offer are like no other ones around the Portland area, its made me try new things that I would have never done otherwise. I highly recomment Firebrand.

I never thought I would join a specialty gym, but once I went to Firebrand I was hooked! The pyrolates/Lagree fitness class is excellent if you are looking for strength both physically and mentally. Love the cycle, row and barre options to get cardio in. The instructors are all awesome and really fun people, and care about you getting the most out of your workouts!

Firebrand offers a friendly, energetic environment where you're constantly be physically challenged. Every workout is different and you're able to adjust to make it your own. I've been a member for 3 months - I've seen a significant improvement in my strength and toning. Highly recommended!

I couldn’t be happier that I found Firebrand!!! I’m not one to stick with any workout routine AT ALL, so for me to be still excited and willing to work out after 10 months is a really big deal. The Lagree method is a really great low impact/high intensity workout. Because you protect your joints during every exercise, I’ve even taken a few classes with a sprained ankle and surprisingly it didn’t even hurt (driving to class was harder on the ankle then taking the class) Is it challenging? Yes Is it confusing? Yes, only at first. Is it worth it? YES! Stick with it and you will amaze yourself!

Best instructors, best facility, amazing clients, and the most aggressive burn I've found in any other workout ever before. Pyrolates is the star class, but rowing, cycling, and firebarre are equally challenging and results driven. And it somehow only keeps getting harder...

I go to a lot of workout studios around Portland, OR but no one offers the variety like Firebrand Sports does! Pyrolates, Cycle, Urban Row and Firebarre! The Pyrolates class (also known as Lagree Fitness) is an extremely challenging workout that forces you to become stronger physically and mentally! I have seen a ton of changes in my body since coming here and have lost several inches from this class as well! Not only are the workouts challenging, but the instructors are really fun people and once you join it is more of a community than just a place to work out! :)

Additionally, the location is very easy to get to and from via public transportation, and the changing area and shower are always clean. Infomation on the website from how to prepare and real descriptions of the class; the workouts are addictively challenging. Being able to register using the MindBody App and a reliable Waitlist Text with an update; which made planning your day easier. Added perks to your workout experience. Book a class via MindBody App The Staff & The Instructors are AMAZING - Each unique and all rockstars Fellow Members - Encouraging and Friendly Equipment - initial draw (LaGree) and now I am interested in checking out the rowing class. Facility is very Clean with a Fresh Open Space Portland Juice Company right inside! Fresh Juice - after class! Socks and such for purchase and brands you like. So happy to have taken the step to sign up for a class and now I am in my 10 class package (sign up) which will soon turn into membership.

I love this studio. I'm obsessed with Lagree. The cycling bikes are very nice (but not a huge fan of the cramped space). The new row studio is very cool as well. I'm not as huge of a fan of FireBarre just because I'm not into neon lighting, and I prefer other barre studios, but still a great workout! If I still lived in Portland, I would come here all the time.

UPDATED 1/8/2023 The Chromachore team as moved to their permanent digs and WOW, it is worth the wait. The atmosphere is well-planned and thoughtful, from the colorful yet soothing lighting to the roomy, new Lagree stations and ample parking. For Lagree enthusiasts, this studio hosts the brand new Evo2 machines. I believe this is the only studio in the US to have these bad boys. The platforms are larger and the springs are controlled by the instructor, allowing for seamless transitions between exercises. The machines also have pacing lights (!) to support the 4-count cadence of each movement... no cheating or rushing! I've taken classes at the new studio with Matt thus far and look forward to working with Sydney, Katie, and Mia Donna. Though each session is a full-body workout each instructor brings a unique perspective with their music and schedule of exercises. Thanks again to Sarah and the team for an excellent experience! My review of the Chromacore pop-up (Spring thru Winter 2022) is below and is unchanged. From 04/2022 I am beyond thrilled that Sarah and her team are offering Lagree classes again! My fitness needed a jumpstart after two years of desk and couch time. The workout is efficient and challenging. The instructors I've had thus far have been knowledgeable, ready to issue gentle corrections when needed, and very encouraging. Thanks Chromacore crew!
