I would and have recommended this gym to others, I’ve been using this location for two years consistently and have had no issue with the gym. I’m typically greeted when I enter and when I leave, and there’s somebody always available to help you even if they are not at the front desk 24/7 you can call the front desk phone and you’ll be assisted shortly after, as for the equipment itself, everything is kept as clean as it could be, I regularly see employees wiping down equipment and dusting anything that needs it, off. I’ve had no issues with the employees in my time using this location, I keep simple gym etiquette and don’t get bothered a bit. As for the locker and shower area, I’d say both areas are well kept clean (I regularly use both). I’ve given a 10/10 because of the gym environment, cleanliness and staff. As I’m somebody who understands that the employees can’t change things such as other “gym-goers” leaving weights in certain areas or not re-racking their weights after using them, for the price, this gym competes on or above the same level as other gyms that typically cost more.

I love this location! And the employee Ashley that works the overnight/early morning shift is so pleasant! She’s always so welcoming at 5am which makes it nice coming in for your workout so early in the day! I recommend this gym. Nice and clean.

Honestly, I really enjoyed this place and my experience. Love the hydro bed and massage chair they are really good touches to have, especially after a really hard workout. It was my first time but I can't wait until my next time.

Planet fitness is clean. They have plenty of machines and waits to workout with they have different programs. Everytime I go there's never more than 10 people there, this place can accommodate a lot more than that. The staff is friendly and more than willing to show you how to use any equipment that you don't know how to use. Black card members even have access to tanning booths and massage chairs. There are multi televisions with different channels on them that you can either Bluetooth or plug into on any machine to listen to they also have radio that you can plug into on any machine and listen to it's a good environment to workout

The gym is nice! But when I asked the so called personal trainer would he train me, he replied I don't want you to waste my time or yours! So I told him never mind. He didn't seem interested! I really would like to make a complaint. I was never even shown around I guess I have to figure it out myself.

I love this gym! Even with being short staffed they do great! The staff is friendly and everyone who's there to workout typically stays to themselves. It's nice because you will see the same faces and seeing everyone train regularly is motivating because you know you're working out with people who take their goals seriously. It is diverse, inclusive, and as a woman, I know I am 100% safe here.

The Ames Street establishment is clean. The employees are very nice & It has a lot of machines to workout on. The 1 thing I would improve on is the outside lighting. It is very dark with lots of blind spots. It has a very creepy feeling to it. I don't attend this location too often, which is close to my residence, because of how unsafe it feels.

I'm still leaving 5 stars because 1 person is not going to define this place and others, me and my mother have been going for quite some years. Excellent place to do workouts, and is a real judge free zone. Gym is very clean and the young ladies up desk and other staff are nice. However, the new trainer with the eyedrop tattoos is rude and disrespectful. He humiliated an elderly woman in front of people saying that she was crazy only because she didn't want to wear her mask, (when himself and other people wasn't wearing them too.) He was being very rude with me and my mother as well up front desk one time and that definitely made us uncomfortable.... Everytime whenever we go he starring hard at us and honestly we don't tolerate that kind of bs. It's disappointing to us because this planet fitness is the closest one and the best.

Clean, smells great when you walk in which is highly unusual for a gym!! Tanning beds are new with new bulbs and honestly no way you can beat their monthly price. Tanning salon alone is well over 80 a month to tan 3to 5 times a week . Great deal

Been a member little over a month now, staff is always polite and professional. As far as atmosphere goes, most of us kinda keep to ourselves and do our own thing trying not to bother anyone. Healthy mix of people age and fitness levels. I certainly recommend.

I love this gym! Been going here for almost two years and I’ve always had a great experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is kept very clean and sparkling. I can’t help but notice that Eric is always the one who is staying on top of everything, keeping the establishment clean and orderly. He’s also very helpful and kind whenever I need assistance. He is wonderful at his job and Planet Fitness is lucky to have him!

The gym atmosphere is great the other folks working out have become friends that I'm happy to see when I come in. This place is great. The gym is very well equipped and every piece of equipment works. It’s very clean, even immaculate, well maintained and I did not see one out of order sign. I travel a lot so I have worked out in in a lot of places. This Planet Fitness is one of the best gyms I’ve used. Jill, the assistant manager is a great asset. She is very well informed, her knowledge and attitude helps to create a nice environment for a good workout. The clients and staff seem to like it here. The next time I’m in Omaha, this is where I’m working out.

As a beginner, this is a nice place to do cardio and weight train. Friendly staff and the other patrons keep to themselves unless solicited. Like at most gyms, bring a lock for anything going in a locker. Intermediate users might miss some weight equipment that they were hoping to use, like a Jammer. Priced for an easy foot in the door.

I got my membership online and it said be ready to meet our friendly staff and get a tour. Unfortunately, my first time going was not as pleasant as it said it would be online. It was a Sunday around noon that I went in and I only saw one person working. She had to answer the phone and try to get my "signed in" for the first time. It took almost 45min. This was WITHOUT a tour. She could not leave the front(which I understand stand) I didn't ask her too either. I'm just hoping that someone called out because that was alot for that lady to do all by herself. Since then, I have been here 4times and they were properly staffed thank goodness! I asked the second time that I went for a tour of the back. They were more than helpful! He answered all my questions. The staff members that I have met so far have been super awesome! Keep it up guys!

Was great. Went downhill after it reopened. Members slamming weights, talking on their phones hogging weight machines, playing music on speakers, shouting, not wiping. The new staff doesn't seem to care. The last straw for me was cleaning supplies not being kept up, during a pandemic. I'm going to try a different location.

He is very knowledgeable and professional, he pays attention to you while you exercise and makes sure you are getting the most out of your visit. So far, this is my favorite location in Omaha. I really liked the locker rooms here. It's got some great natural light- not as much as Bellevue but way more than 36th and 84th. Cool vibe; good parking.

Like Nike people say " just do it" it's $10/month, price of a daily full burger meal. They have up to date equipments, awesome and super clean bathrooms and shower rooms. Love the massage chair and the hydro massage. Never tried the cryo therapy yet. And they have a nice staff 24/7 I love that gym.
