If you are looking for an excellent gym and highly motivated trainers that will create a program based on your specific health and fitness goals, then I highly recommend Black Clover Fitness! Trevor (owner) responds quickly to inquiries, evaluating your needs and identifying your goals. He will set you with a successful trainer and program. He makes you feel like part of the family immediately.
As someone who had not done any type of exercise for many years, private/semiprivate training was just what I needed to get started working toward my fitness goals.
Working with Jordan over the past several months has been awesome! His patience and friendliness make you feel comfortable immediately. He has such a positive outlook and that is conveyed throughout every workout. The individualized program that he has created and continues to build on has been instrumental in me achieving great gains in strength, coordination, flexibility, and endurance! After every training session, I feel accomplished and empowered. Today, I am participating in fitness activities that I could not do a year ago! It just took a partnership with a great gym and trainer!

Black Clover Fitness is an excellent gym with knowledgeable, positive, and motivational trainers! As someone who had little to no gym experience when joining BCF almost two years ago, I can attest to how amazing the trainers are. They took the time to educate me on how to use equipment properly and what to focus on in order to reach my goals. They did all of this without belittling me or making me feel like I didn't belong. I have gained knowledge, strength, confidence, and friendships since joining. Additionally, the atmosphere is extremely positive! I enjoy going to BCF in the mornings and seeing the bright smiles from the other gym members and the trainers. BCF is the place to be!

This gym is like no other that I’ve been a member. The trainers are phenomenal. Jordan is extremely knowledgeable and crazy positive/supportive when it comes to his clients. You might enter the gym in a rotten mood but you will not leave with one. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who asks.

With the hard work and dedication of my trainer, Nick, I met my initial goal in the first 3 months and was then encouraged to make new goals. They strive to make you challenge yourself and reach your full potential. There is no need to settle for status quo.
The added bonus is the wonderful people you meet. The trainers and other members are so much fun to be around and work with. As hard and challenging as the workouts are, it is always an upbeat, pleasant atmosphere.

I have been going to Black Clover for nearly 2 years. Brice is my trainer and he is great! He is extremely knowledgeable about fitness, which not only includes the workouts, but overall fitness as well. He is very approachable and fun, and shares his knowledge willingly. He has a talent for knowing how much each person can push towards their fitness goals, so I feel safe doing the workouts he asks of me. The overall atmosphere is very positive. The people in my class are friendly and supportive - varying ranges of fitness from those just starting out to those who are pretty darn serious about it. I fit right in the middle. :-)

The thought of joining a gym was both scary and intimidating. But what I have found at Black Clover Fitness is acceptance and a cooperative spirit. Corey, the owner, is very interested in me as a person and helping me develop the skills for lifelong health. Luke, my personal trainer, is positive, funny and very reassuring. Working out with him has made me feel confident and better about myself. I would definitely recommend BCF as a place to grow and become the best person you can be.

I have been working out with Trevor since March of 2019. He is so motivating and pushes you to your limit! I have seen so many changes in my body since I have started. I used to get bored with workouts but Trevor is so creative! The workouts are different everyday and always challenging. I started out going 3 days a week. The workouts are so addicting that I now go 5 days a week! I cannot say enough about how great Trevor is and how much I enjoy going to Black Clover!

Black Clover fitness saved my life. I was 57 years old when I joined Black Clover over three years ago. I knew Corey and I honestly figured I was too old to be involved in anything that resembled a "boot camp", but Corey challenged a couple of us to give it a try and see if we didn't improve our bodies, both physically and mentally. I admit it was certainly tough to get back into shape, but the workouts were challenging and for the most part fun.
18 months ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I also have an ongoing problem with neuropathy with my feet. It would have been easy to quit, feel sorry for myself, and just let everything go. With the encouragement of Trevor, I continued to workout during all my treatments and surgeries and I say to this day that those workouts helped me get through what could have been a very depressing time in my life and I tell everyone who will listen that Black Clover and particularly Trevor "saved my life."
The thing about Black Clover is that all the trainers really care about you and want to see you succeed. They give you the tools to meet your goals and they hold you accountable to the goals you set. The best testament to this is the number of people (of all ages) who have continued to train here for a long time.. I cannot recommend anyone higher than Black Clover.

I’ve always been fitness minded, but a significant illness got me out of shape and out of motivation. I came to Black Clover looking to get both back. I’ve been working out with Trevor for almost a year and have lost all the weight I was trying to and also have significantly lost body fat as a result of the fitness training and nutritional guidance Trevor has provided. I have several challenges with my diet due to my illness, but Trevor has been fantastic about providing alternatives on what and how I should eat to drop body fat and build lean muscle. He also has been a reliable and solid accountability partner, ensuring that I am sticking to my workouts and to my food plan and changing things when necessary to ensure I keep making progress toward my goals. Workouts are never the same and never boring. They are challenging enough to keep me interested and not so challenging that I will get frustrated. Trevor tailors each workout to my specific fitness level, but DOES push me, which I need. I definitely am seeing results. I have more energy through the day, I feel better overall, and I am in the best shape in my 40’s than I’ve ever been in.
I appreciate the smaller facility and more intimate atmosphere as compared to the large gyms in Omaha. You get hands on, personalized, focused attention without the chaotic energy of a typical gym. The facility itself is clean and the equipment is awesome. Trevor has a fantastic attitude, and is encouraging, energetic and extremely knowledgeable with both fitness and nutrition. All of the other trainers I’ve worked with there have been equally as helpful and encouraging as well.
My only request is that they add an on staff massage therapist and a sauna. :)

I have been working out with Trevor at Black Clover Fitness for 4 years. I am in my 60's and have never been able to commit myself to a fitness regimen for more than a few weeks at a time. Usually when loosing a few pounds. Now, I am not only committed but I am excited about my regular workouts. They are always different, never boring. Trevor pushes me beyond what I would ever do on my own. I am in better shape now than I was in my 30's or 40's. I intend to keep going for as long as I can. My goal is to maintain a reasonable weight and remain strong as long as the good Lord allows. Trevor always hold me accountable and yet respects my personal goals. I cannot say enough good about my experience at BCF!

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would definitely rate Black Clover Fitness as a 10. It’s an awesome program and I’ve seen great results. The personal trainers do a fantastic job and most importantly, I think exercise should be fun and there’s a fun element to it. For someone looking to hire Black Clover Fitness – looking for someone to go to for personal training, I would definitely tell them that Black Clover Fitness is a great facility to consider. One of the things I really like about it is the program is always mixing it up, it’s always something different. Every week when you walk in, there’s a new set of exercises or different approach to the exercises so it keeps it fun. I’ve seen great results myself so I can testify to the fact that the program works – keeping your muscles thinking and changing. When I went to Black Clover Fitness I was looking for something different. I was in a little bit of a rut doing the same fitness routine every day on a regular basis and I didn’t have a lot of weight training in my routine at the time. This is a great program to mix things up!

The gang at Black Clover is AWESOME. Energetic, motivating, knowledgeable, accountable and the list goes on. They're everything you would want in a trainer. The workouts and nutritional guidance is are never the same, so it NEVER GETS OLD!!!
I've been a member over 2.5 yrs and the variety of the workouts are what keeps your body always guessing while burning fat and building muscle. No matter age or gender they have tailored workouts to meet the needs of all demographics. I am very pleased with the results I have obtained and recommend anyone who is bored with 'same ole thing' give them a shot, you won't be sorry. Keep up the good work!!!

I have been coming to Black Clover Fitness for about 2 years. The results I have seen are night and day compared to the previous gyms and work out routines I have tried in the past. I have lost nearly 50 pounds and increased my muscle mass considerably. Upon starting they got me on a nutrition program where I ate the same foods I had but in the right proportion. Upon joining it was explained to me that this is a lifestyle change and that is how I have approached it. My energy level and overall health have increased dramatically and I have no problem keeping up with my 9 and 11 year old kids. The staff is GREAT and I look forward to my workouts. Upon getting to work afterwards I am energized and ready to GO! I would highly recommend BCF to anyone serious about getting in better shape.

I've trimmed my body fat down and put on muscle I thought i never had. The Black Clover staff is truly dedicated to changing people's lives. I started going to BCF about 5 months ago and really like it. The facility is nice and clean. Trainers and owner are reliable and friendly. Their clients are friendly as well and make newbies feel welcome. Nice range of ages and fitness levels. You have set times and days to work out which holds you accountable. Corey offers different options as far as contract length and how many times per week. No, it is not an open come-when-you-want gym. The one star review is not fair as they are not that type of a gym and don't claim to be!

Black Clover Fitness is great! I have been working out with BCF for 4 years, and will continue to do so well into the future. During the past 4 years, I have had the opportunity to work out with most of the trainers. Each one has an individual style, but the results are always the same, namely, a loss of pounds and inches, and a gain of confidence! The trainers at BCF are friendly and encouraging, and the other participants share those same qualities.
While training at the Maple location, Peter and Nick helped me to continue to work out throughout my entire pregnancy, only stopping two weeks before my daughter was born. They made adjustments when needed, and as a result, I was able to keep both my pregnancy weight gain and blood pressure in a healthy range.
I was sad to leave Peter and Nick when I switched locations, but I didn't need to worry. Jordon has continued to push me with intense workouts and a renewed focus on nutrition, and as a result, I have continued to lose both pounds and inches. It's a new workout each and every session, and I have never been bored. Exhausted? Yes. Bored? No.
BCF has helped to make me stronger (both mentally and physically), my endurance has improved, and I make better decisions when it comes to nutrition. It's hard work, but the trainers at BCF make it fun. I highly recommend Black Clover Fitness!

BCF is great! The workouts are challenging and fun at the same time. I especially like the variety of sessions from week to week! Peter is my trainer and he is the reason it has been such a positive experience. I have been going there for 15 months and have never consistently maintained a work out program for this long until now. Check them out!

I truly enjoyed working out at Black Clover and my trainer Corey! The workouts were never the same and I could expect to pushed and worked hard. I decided to try Black Clover because of its location at 192nd & Q and some health issues, I needed a little more individualized attention. It is a great facility I will go back!!

Facilities: Both locations have the latest in equipment, a lot of which is not standard for a regular gym (ex: rock climbing grips for pull ups, TRX systems, power plate, etc.). For me, personally, it was also important that they have dumb bells over 100 lbs. Most of the individuals working out there don't need this amount of weight, and most of the work outs don't allow for that level of heavy lifting, but it is nice to have them for when they are needed or when I'm working out independently. The work out area is always extremely clean, with fresh towels available to everyone.
Trainers: The trainers all have good dispositions and friendly attitudes. I am always greeted by a trainer even if they are not the usual trainer I work under. My trainer, Peter, is well educated and does a great job altering planned work outs for my own needs. Peter is also very flexible and works with me if I need to change my plans due to work or home needs. The trainers all have excellent ongoing communication with the members. I have observed Peter and Jordan to show excellent people skills when working out individuals that would be considered 'challenging' (for whatever reason) to most of us.
Workouts: The work outs are primarily done in group format under the supervision of one trainer, though there may be two trainers/groups utilizing the gym area. The work outs are tough and push me harder than I would working out on my own. They are primarily stamina based, with higher reps and short rests that often utilize the theory of Max Interval Training. The work outs change their focus/style weekly (great for 'muscle confusion') and all members are sent an email by their trainer of what style of work out to expect for the following week. The facilities are also available to you during hours of operation whenever you would like to do an independent work out.
Owner: Corey is often in the facilities doing one-on-one training and available for you to speak with in person. He seems to strike a laudible balance of giving his trainers independence to run their groups as they see fit, while creating a personal relationship with each location and its members. You will work more with your trainer than the owner most likely, but he is available and approachable to everyone at Black Clover.
Members: Let's be honest, it's a huge plus that you miss a lot of the mouth-breathers you see in gyms regularly. My experience has been that most of the people I meet at BCF are friendly and equally interested in obtaining a quality work out experience. You are likely to see people working out hard as opposed to gazing in the mirror, hording equipment, slamming/dropping weights, incessently socializing, or doing something dangerous to themselves and/or you. The volume of people also helps to reduce other issues like stress on the equipment, and the bathrooms (nothing is wet and smelly).
The negatives: I love working out at BCF, but every gym has negatives to be fair. The cost is considerable compared to normal gym memberships, though extremely competitive if you are seeking a work out experience that involves a personal trainer. BCF helps me with accountability and maintaining an ongoing work out routine; if that is not an issue for you then the cost may not be worth it. I wish there were 4 group workouts per week rather than 3 for the price you pay, but again, the gym is available to you whenever it is open, so that's just nitpicking.
Also, if your goal is power lifting and/or focus on strength gains then you will likely not be interested in the regular group work outs. A one-on-one training experience may be better tailored to those goals, and I do know they are building programs based on the needs of young atheletes.
Lastly, the facilities are closed on Sundays. That really doesn't detract from the intended experience BCF offers its members, but for many professionals the weekends are a small window to get in that extra work out or cardio.

I have been working out at BCF for almost three years. My wife worked with Corey Cain one-on-one to "stay vertical." She had a spinal tumor in her 20's that was removed successfully. After the tumor, radiation treatment followed. In her 50's she started losing her ability to climb stars, had neuropathy in her feet and back pain, all as a result of the radiation. After getting a diagnosis, the doctors said she would be in a wheelchair in 6 months. That was over four years ago and she is still vertical thanks in part to Corey's help.
After seeing what Corey had accomplished helping my wife, I started working out in his bootcamp program in the wee hours of the morning. Shortly after I joined BCF doing block training with a smaller group of people The progress I made focusing on increasing my fitness level for cycling was dramatic. The trainers are great and have made working out something I look forward - not something to endure. The other aspect of BCF that makes it all worth while is the people I get to work out with. No egos, all working to accomplish their specific goals and all pushing each other. I have seen transformations my BCF partners that inspire me to keep going.
I have now lost 30 pounds, lots of inches and gained muscle mass. Being in my late 50s, I maintain a level of fitness I wish I had in my 30s.
Corey has assmbled an amazing group of talented trainers that believe in his core principle - making life better. Trevor, Jordan, Peter, MC and Ashley are fantastic trainers and I have been able to work with each one. They know how and when to push - just a fantastic group of people to work with. What I also appreciate about Corey is that he applies this principle to the people that work for him and it shows in the care and effort they make in helping all of us achieve our goals.

It's not just a workout, but they also educated me on nutrition habits. Trevor reminds me that you can't out exercise a bad diet and that is so true.
