It’s a little run down compared to most locations. I don’t know what it is, but it always feels gloomy inside even when it’s sunny outside. The mood is just off. On a more positive note, Planet Fitness is a great place to have a membership with. They offer two types of memberships. The Basic and the Black Card, which includes gym access, tanning (various bed types and levels), red light skin treatment (or something like that), access to massage chairs (like the ones at the mall and airport 😀), as well as, water massage beds. With tax, the fee per month is just under $24. The Basic membership includes gym access only, and is only like $10 per month.

Great staff and no pressure. We were given a great tour of the facility by Jonathan, and he explained how the fees work. I won't knock the facility for this as it's corporate, they want a credit card for your initial fee but only will allow direct debit from your checking account for your monthly fee- Foul. Very clean facility and plenty of cleaning stations for wiping down equipment so you don't have to go far. The other cudo is they are the only fitness facility that let's you go month to month with no contract, the others all require a 1 year commitment

Always my place. Inali keeps the place spotless during the weekdays. Weekends, the bathrooms and facility aren’t as clean as when Inali is there. But everyone is still super friendly.

The staff here is super friendly! Especially the two young people who are usually here in the evenings. They always greet us cheerfully and are very pleasant. This gym has also been our favorite in OKC, it’s a little out of our way since we’re currently living in downtown, but we make the drive. It’s super clean and very rarely are any of the machines down. Overall, it’s been a great experience.

I visited OKC for 2 days, but this planet fitness Gunn made me want to stay. What I love is the CLEANLINESS. The building is keen on cleaning and sanitizing. Moreover the machines were all in great condition, and there were not a lot of people there. With the global pandemic, that was a plus for me. I know it’s weird, but nowadays, no one wants to be in crowded spaces. Well, at least not me. Great location, and better customer service.

I was just this week able to return to fitness after a traumatic accident that left me unable to walk for 6 months. I went back to PF, and I was soooo happy that I met David who works at the front desk during the morning (reddish hair). He was so welcoming and kind and made me feel so great to be back. Thank you for having someone so wonderful on staff. David is just one fantastic example of how PF is a great place for all people to physically improve themselves.

The enrollment process is easy and the staff is easy to work with. Large facility with a variety of equipment which is perfect if you are seeking to social distance during your work out. I have been in much smaller facilities where it can be challenging to utilize the equipment when it is occupied by other patrons therefore that is not an issue I have encountered at Planet Fitness. I think one of the obvious benefits is the value prospect for the cost of membership particularly when you factor in the hours of operation. The upkeep and cleanliness of the facility is also good therefore I would recommend.

The gym I expected to be bigger but regardless, it's nice to have a friendly gym right around the corner from my apartment. Not to mention I'm also able to get a workout in after work with my daughter. Staff is really friendly and I appreciate them making her first experience a positive one.

The staff is friendly and always greets us with a smile. The location on NW Exlressway in OKC ust replaced their cardio equipment, so that is a plus The black card spa could use a deep cleaning, and they should consider adding a 5th smith machine (there is plenty of room to do so), as the 4 existing ones are always taken in the evenings. All in all, we are satisfied with our memberships, and find it to be a value for the price.

The location on NW Expressway in OKC does have more than it's fair share of plumbing issues. If you go there long enough it isn't all that surprising, frustrating but not surprising, when a locker room (usually the men's) is flooded or there's a CLOSED sign posted on the door due to plumbing issues. However, the staff and management care about their facility and the people who they serve. It's apparent in the amount of obvious work that they place into the place. The equipment and area is always clean, tidy, and in working condition. Recently the interior got a facelift. (Clocks however aren't their strong point. lol) And they have gotten much better about sending out emails when their hours are temporarily changing or if they close unexpectedly. There is little more irritating when one gets motivated to go to the gym, get ready for the gym, GO to the gym only to find the gym isn't open. So, I'm thankful for the communication efforts. I've been a solid member of this location for about three years now. I've been to other locations, but always gravitate back to my "home" gym. There are good people here. The diversity and inclusiveness is appreciated. I've heard people comment that they don't like PF because it doesn't have "all the equipment" needed or "the right equipment". Honestly, I'm just an average guy who is trying to stay in healthy. It has everything I need and I'm good with that. I am very appreciative to the staff and management who continue to do such an exceptional job. Thank you.

The staff at the front desk was very nice. They did a great job social distancing the machines. You can either wear a mask while working out or not. I saw the majority of the people wearing masks (me included). I felt very comfortable and was able to focus on me and my purpose for being there.

I go to Planet Fitness in every town I'm in while traveling for work and have never had a bad experience. Tanning bed is great at this location. Hydro massage chairs are super good.

Best gym in Lawton. Only thing you aren't doing are deadlifts or squats not on a smith machine or bigger dumbbells than 100. Only downside is they could use more chest machines.

I've been a member here for over a year now and it has always been great. Friendly staff, clean and well maintained equipment, and clean locker rooms. Free weights go up to 75lbs which fits my needs. If I had one complaint it would be that the paper towel dispensers out on the gym floor aren't automatic, but that's just me being a germaphobe

I only joined a couple of weeks ago, but PF is the gym I always wanted. It's clean and doesn't have that "gym" smell. All of the machines are well-maintained, and there's a wide variety of equipment available. The people are the BEST -- super friendly and helpful. I also highly recommend the hydromassage bed, too!

I love Planet Fitness. There was no pressure to buy a membership. The terms are really easy to understand with no hidden clauses etc. The price for a black card membership is $23 a month. The equipment is nice and the facility is always clean. They are open 24 hours a day so I can workout at my convenience. The staff is great. They are always helpful and very knowledgeable. The hydromassage bed is my favorite. I have tanning included with my black card membership and I used to pay $38 a month for tanning alone. I love the massage chairs after a hard workout. It has really been easy to stay motivated because they have a judgement free atmosphere.

Planet fitness has convenient locations. The filtered water bottle refill fountain is amazing. I can always find a machine to work on. The staff is mostly helpful and friendly. The showers kind of suck because there is nowhere to set or hang your shower bag or towel. Great value for the services. Free classes.

I do enjoy this gym, however I do wish the showers were updated. New shower heads and hooks/shelf would be such a great improvement,every girl in the shower area complains about this. You have to put everything on the floor of the shower. A few hundred bucks would easily fix this issue.

I have been at the NW expressway gym since December and honestly the moment I entered the staff approached me with great enthusiasm and had given me a great tour around and made it easy for me to decide to join. Through then 5 months in there has never been a moment to where I felt unhappy or out of place. First off the staff has always been respectful to me and others that I have brought in and they would tell me that they quality experience. What comforts me is when i am lifting I see the staff strolling around engaging with the members and cleaning the floor and etc. The gym is always clean and the employees always do a phenomenal job at maintaining all areas. I have been to many gyms and I can say that planet is one of my top 3. Thankyou guys for constantly motivating me and others to pursue fitness and express great moral in the gym

First impressions are that this PF isn’t bad and is clean but I prefer the other location on Hefner and May. The day I came it was much warmer than you would expect a gym to be which isn’t pleasant when you’re sweating from working out. Also prefer the hydro massage beds that lay flat unlike the ones at this location. Staff wasn’t as friendly, gym was crowded, and the nw expressway location makes in annoying to get in and out of. Think I’ll stick with the locations in Midwest City and The Village.

Price 5 starts (10$/m or 25$/m). I'm a moderate gym user. Equipment is awesome. It's typically busy, which I enjoy because it's easy to get distracted when you're doing cardio. It is a lower budget gym at the end of the day (though it feels comfortable and nice to me), but I think it's for 9/10 random people off the street who are lookin for a gym

This place is very clean and is huge. It has plenty of new machines and weights as well as tanning and massage chairs! The locker room, again, is huge with televisions as well. How anyone can complain about this gym is beyond me unless they're juice heads.

Been working out here for a few years now. They just got new machines which are great. The machines are clean, the locker room is clean, the people are friendly, and the machines aren't all squashed together which can make it difficult to move about the gym. Great place.

Terrific gym all around. Staff is friendly and they don't try to sell you anything. The gym is clean and equipment is new. And the price is super cheap! I was just reading reviews and am really surprised. Maybe they are talking about the south side location? I go to the one on NW Expressway and I've never seen it dirty or smelly and never seen weights not reracked. I have seen the latter at the Planet Fitness in Dallas when I visit there.

It isn't flashy, but they have all the basics. Price point is really good for someone like me that does not go as much as I should. My only complaint is they have a 30 min room that they don't even try to enforce.

It's a good gym but its not the best. There are no barbell benches or racks for squats, deadlifts, and bench press. There are four smith machines though. Equipment is sometimes broken down. Maintenance, staff, and crowdesness are all pretty good overall. No paper towels in the bathrooms, they were removed. There are better gyms for serious athletes...

I usually don't have a problem but today I go to use the hydromassage beds and the girl behind the counter told me that there were people on them so it would be a little bit of a wait. I said ok and sat down, almost 10 minutes go by and a different employee ( she has really short curly hair and usually wears basketball shorts) kept going over to the girls and talking to them, seemed like they were friends, then she tells the girl behind the counter to add more time to their beds. She made eye contact with me and walked off, after 20 minutes of waiting I finally got up and left. Extremely rude and unacceptable, what's the point in me paying $25 a month.

LOVE Planet Fitness. Black membership allows me to find gyms when I travel. Always clean. Never so crowded I have to wait long for machines and weights. My biggest complaint: Although they have my email and phone info on file they will not contact you when your cc/debit card expires causing unnecessary late fees more expensive than the actual monthly membership. VERY common complaint and easy to fix but they refuse. I foresee a class action lawsuit at some point. Thier profit model should not depend on penalties and late fees simular to bank checking accounts. RIDICULUS...

Hello my name is Robert Joshua Cullison and I am a black card member at Planet Fitness in Warner Robins Georgia. I recently came to Oklahoma City to visit my daughter and while I was here I thought I'd visit a Planet Fitness in the area. I chose the NW Expressway location. I was a little worrried about how I was going to be treated me being from out of state and all. But the moment I walked in I was greeted with hello's and good mornings from a very friendly staff. After telling them who I was and where I was from, they made me feel like they already knew who I was as if I was already a member with them. That was very cool. Needless to say I felt very comfortable. I then began working out and have been for the last week. I not only look forward to going up there to workout, but being greeted by staff is like seeing your friends. Now the equipment may not be as new as some of the newer clubs that have opened, but you couldn't tell the difference by the way they keep it so clean. Everytime I turn around between sets a staff member is wiping down equipment, cleaning mirrors, sweeping or vacuuming. The place is immaculate. From the gym floor to the bathrooms. There's no reason one should feel uncomfortable or not be able to get a good workout. They have everything you need. If I decide to make the move out here then I would look no further at other locations. Planet Fitness NW Expressway would be my home club. I worked out in Europe some years ago and never had a gym that gave me that feeling I had when I worked out there, until I visited Planet Fitness on S.W. 59th. As soon as I walked in I thought to myself, this is it! Del City Gold's Gym Express (now Gold's Gym), Midwest City 10gym and the Weight Room just can't compete with what Planet Fitness has to offer. The quality of the machines at Planet Fitness blows away what the competition has to offer and Planet Fitness is cheaper to join! Unfortunately for me, there's not one close enough to where I live for me to make that commitment. Thank you Adrianna for the walk through, you were a terrific host!

This place is awesome and the workers there are amazing and truly care about there customers. The place is clean and I love that is judge free zone. I also love that I get to bring my teenage son who is 15 it’s a great way for him and I to bond while being the best and healthiest versions of our selfs. I struggle with my weight off and on and a lot of gyms I can feel so intimidated going. But when i go here I feel comfortable and not embarrassed. Love it. Thank you planet fitness for being awesome. If I had a request it would be add childcare. Besides that it still earns my 5 stars!
