Unlike some people that used the beginning of the pandemic as an opportunity to get ahead of their fitness, I unfortunately got behind on mine. I hired Clint a year ago to fix that and the results have been satisfying. My energy has returned and I'm finally feeling really strong again! Not all my workouts are perfect but Clint has an innate ability to know which days are appropriate to push hard and which days we need to pull back. Sadly he's not selling any secret pills or potions but if you're willing to put in the work, he can help.

Wish there was an option to rate 6/5!! I’ve been training with Clint for almost 3 years and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself! After my twins were born I was feeling low energy and sluggish from carrying around extra post baby weight. I never had a gym membership and incorporated very little fitness into my daily routine. Training with Clint is what has enabled me to get into shape, feel great and have plenty of energy to get through and enjoy my day! Clint is extremely knowledgeable in his field and is constantly keeping up with current studies and developing research. Clint is a pleasure to work with. I first started working with Clint ~ 10 weeks postpartum after having my second baby. From day 1, he has customized the strength training program to meet my fitness goals, which were to lose lbs and have enough strength to carry both my kids. I’ve been working out with Clint for several months. He's totally the perfect trainer - just the right blend of discipline but with enough of a sense of humor that you don't dread working out! I had never used a personal trainer before and my incentive for getting one was the simple fact that I didn't think I knew what I was doing at the gym. I’ve gone to gyms my whole life and I’ve never actually seen progress, until now. Clint has a great attitude; a trainer who seems to actually enjoy training other people. While I’m no stranger to the gym and have worked with several Personal Trainers in the past, I’d come to a point 4 years ago where I had two tears in my shoulder then learned I need a hip replacement and was no longer able to do the same workouts I used to (without feeling pain). I have been overweight for the last 20 years, but really piled it on over the last 2 years. At 45 and in a high stress, very demanding and successful job I found it increasingly difficult to find time to do anything, or more accurately found it easier to come up with excuses. I was completely sedentary - the most exercise I would get was walking to the fridge. One day my adult son sat me down and said that if I didn't do something I would be dead by 50, and he was right.
I have been working with Clint for more than a year now, and it has completely transformed my life. I have lost the weight, am full of energy and am fit - really fit. My work has improved because, having worked out in the morning, I concentrate more during the day. The workouts are no less interesting than they were a year ago - Clint regularly mixes it up to focus on different muscle groups or just to keep it interesting. I genuinely look forward to the sessions, which is testament to Clint's skills as a trainer as I have been working with him 3 times a week for more than a year.
Clint's sessions are hard work - he doesn't let you slack off, but without all the "boot camp" rubbish, which would not exactly suit my personality type. Most importantly, they get results and Clint is a genuinely nice guy. I don't give personal recommendations lightly or very often, but I can say that Clint is an exceptional Personal Trainer and I recommend him without reservation.

I originally contacted Toned at Home because I was diagnosed with Graves Disease. Prior to my diagnoses I was always active and enjoyed working out but with all of the symptoms that go along with Graves I was struggling. I could no longer do high impact training, running or other classes at the gym that I previously enjoyed. I was not sure if a personal trainer could help but I was willing to try. THANK GOD I did!
When I first called I was asked questions about my goals, not only did Clint make me feel comfortable but he even went as far as to research Graves Disease (I was sold at this point). I have been training with Clint for 9 months and the gains have been tremendous. He is knowledgable, dependable, caring and funny (it helps get through the workouts). Although I have been tough on myself at times he never allows me to fail and he always pushes me beyond what I think my abilities are.
9 months later and my heart rate is under control, my eating habits have improved and I found out through my last round of blood work that my Graves Disease is currently in remission. When we found out the news I think Clint may have been even happier than I was! I appreciate all of Clint's hard work and I am not sure how I could repay him other than staying motivated and continuing to take care of myself for a long time! I would recommend Toned at Home and Clint to anyone!

I have been working out with Clint for the last 6 months and I can't imagine not having him as my trainer. I never lifted weights until I started working with Clint so I didn't realize how effective it is for transforming my body and burning calories. I've always been very nervous to go near the weights in the gym I belong to so I only focused on cardio, bodyweight exercises and abs, exercises I thought were easy to tackle without hurting myself. Yet I was always having knee pain...
Clint pointed out that I have been doing squats and lunges wrong this whole time on my own. This is why I needed a trainer...doing things wrong was giving me limited results and injuries! Clint has taught me so much and I have gained so much confidence in my techniques. Having Clint as my Personal Trainer has made me feel so comfortable with weights and I'm even eager to lift heavier now(and lifting heavy weights has not made me bulky either)! Clint's training method consists of hard work but simple techniques which he will teach you to master. Clint is a stickler on form so he will make sure your form is perfect before bringing you to the next level. He will constantly remind you to breathe and reiterate how your body should be positioned. He will push you to finish your sets, but in an encouraging way. His way of instructing is stern but pleasant. He really cares that you fully understand an exercise so he will explain it 5 different ways if necessary until you understand it (which was the case with me). He is patient and provides good tips to help you remember what you are supposed to be doing. He brings great energy to the session that makes you enjoy working out with him. I am SO happy with my progress and thrilled that I found Clint as my Personal Trainer!

Where do I even begin. Clint is not only a master at his art of personal training, but he is one of the most down to earth and trustworthy people you will encounter. With that said, his training is not just limited to the time together, but to the overall process. Clint is the perfect trainer! I had such anxiety about going to the gym, roughly because I always felt out of place and that I didn’t know what I was doing. I am so glad I found Clint. He personalizes each workout to what is best for me. When it gets tough and I start to lose motivation he is right there, usually with a very entertaining dance move, to get me laughing and hyped up again. Although our sessions are tough, I look forward to them and I don’t dread working out. I have been going to him for several months now and I am so impressed with the results I can already see. He answers my calls and texts quickly, which really makes me feel confident that he is always there to help me, whether it’s a rescheduling situation or questions about healthy eating. He is so passionate about his job and you can really tell he loves doing this.
Ironic Twist
I've been working out with Clint for almost 2 years. I started out with a goal to lose 20 lbs. Met with Clint 2x per week. Once the goal was met, I backed off to 1x per week, plus daily workouts at home that Clint designed for me. Amazingly, weight continued to come off. I eventually lost a total of 42 pounds and 4+ inches off my waist. I continue to see Clint 1x per week. I am slowly regaining weight, but instead of fat, it is lean muscle noticeable across my chest, shoulders, and biceps. I also have the confidence boost that comes from knowing I can defend myself thanks to my kickboxing training. Another benefit -- I'm much faster now, able to run a mile in just over 6 minutes.

Before working out with Clint, my opinion of a trainer was someone screaming at you to lift weights and calling you a puny weakling. But, this could not be further from the truth in Clint's case. This is not to say that we don't work hard, but he has perfected the right amount of positive encouragement to give during his sessions where you feel motivated instead of scolded. He also does a great job of making me laugh when I'm covered in sweat and wanting to die. I've told him about 15 times that if he was not my trainer, I would have quit already. I think that it's because he is genuinely interested in making his clients feel and look better.
I have a crazy work schedule but my weekly workouts with Clint paired with other short workouts he designs for me to do on my own during the week have yielded great results in only a few months. I plan to work with him for a very long time to come and would recommend him to anyone who is even slightly interested in getting into better shape. You could not be in better hands.

Even on days where I’m in pain he’s always able to find different variations of exercises to give me a good workout without worsening my symptoms. That is exactly what I found with Toned at Home. After meeting with Clint he factored my injuries into my workout and designed a program for me. He also keeps it interesting mixing in some boxing and interval cardio/weight training. On a nice day we move the workout outside to really change things up and challenge me.
The diet and eating schedule he developed FOR ME was realistic and easy to follow.
