Love this place. Staff showed me how to use the machines since I hadn't been in gym in over 20 years. Always plenty of machines available so I don't have to wait for anything. As a newbie, I appreciate having knowledgeable people to show me the ropes

Love my club in Algiers. On Friday, December 3rd walked into the gym and it was freezing! First time ever. Been a member since September 2022. I was told the temperature is controlled by corporate. I understand the clubs are franchised. Could not access on line. I may be the only complaint, but I don't believe so. Other members may shrug it off. I cannot. Someone is playing with the thermostat. My nose and hands are very cold. Even after working out for 10 minutes still COLD! This should bw taken care of immediately. I desire to remain a member and pray this situation can bw resolved. Thank you. Even the staff is COLD but have no control. Please, please, please fix this! And please don't insult me by saying it has always been this temperature.

This planet fitness is relaxed and hardly ever busy compared to the others in the area. I enjoy working out here because of all the various equipment they have. I only wish they provided towels and had more area for free weights.

The welcome that I get when I walk in. makes me feel really good. The atmosphere is amazing and refreshing. my workout is very relaxing because there's no disruption at any time. I enjoy my time every time I come there.

They made the best of the space available when laying out the equipment. Staff is friendly and helpful. Music is decent, but really loud in the small locker rooms. They have the hydro-massage loungers instead of beds :(

A little longer to travel than the Gretna location. Equipment is different, smaller and not the same types of stationery bikes. Hope the Gretna location reopens soon.

The space itself is a little bit small, but this planet fitness has much nicer machines than the other planet fitness I used to go to. They are higher quality machines that do a great job of isolating the muscles you're targeting. Fantastic place to work out!

I love that I can go to the gym at my own convenience and stay as long as I want. The staff is friendly and they keep the machines clean. They even just installed a safety plexiglass in between each cardio machine. There are multiple exercise machines so you rarely have to wait for any particular machine. Nice big gym!

Planet Fitness Algiers is a really good place to workout. The team members are always friendly and greet you with a smile when you arrive. There is a lot of equipment that is routinely maintained. PF has everything that I value in a fitness club.

I've started going to this gym since it opened instead of the Harvey/Metairie locations. They have the most updated machines and an actual area that is empty so you can stretch and do your own floor activities. Always clean and no complaints from me! #100lbsdown

It was a nice experience for me to walk around and you know look and see how and everything was it keeps it clean and everybody stayed the distance and everything why you asked me is more pleasant now did I stand exercise hell no I look at all that machinery and I got tired maybe I'll go back next week maybe ;-) ;-)

Joined about two weeks ago and loving it. They have every type of exercise equipment you could need. From free weights, specialized weight machines, cardio, and more. Eight different tv channels to watch while on the treadmills, etc. A 30 minute workout zone that is very effective. I'm 61 and there are a wide variety of shapes, sizes and ages and everyone seems to be in their own zone so you can exercise without judgement. The staff is always cheerie and helpful. NO CONTRACTS which is why I joined.

Planet fitness is always a ok gym. The lunk alarm is pretty annoying though to be honest. Saw someone put down weight on machine and it made a slight sound and they rung the alarm. Great cardio place but if you're lifting weight I definitely recommend a different gym.
