I just joined the gym and my kids take swim Lessons here. So far I like the gym as for as the variety of equipment. I just wished the showers and the locker room and bathrooms were clean. It looks like no one cares about the shower stalls. Also I wish they would take into consideration that there are kids and family so if they could have better choice of music that are family friendly would be great. I was shocked to hear a song last week that was very provocative. Trying to raise good kids so please play music without foul language.

1440 is a great place to workout! My membership allows me to get a workout in at multiple locations around town and I can bring a guest every time. Plus it’s open 24/7 which works great with my schedule.

Absolutely love the equipment here and the staff is so friendly every time I come into the gym! Wish some of the machines were more updated just because they are a little run down, but that doesn't effect my workout too much just gross to look at sometimes.

Have been a member at over 20 different gyms. I've been at the gym at least 5 days a week for over 11 years and this gym has everything I need. Staff always has the time to say hello and whenever I've had questions they make time to speak with me. Have referred a few friends who also like this gym and have even made a few new friends.

It’s a pretty good gym. I like the music selections even though Karen’s wine about it being “provocative.” They really do need to step up their game on cleaning everything though. Showers are gross.

one of the best fitness centers in the area hands down perfect for beginners up to high intermediate fairly clean all around not just the facilities everywhere is well maintained machines are well maintained (I believe all work perfectly) staff very friendly and everyone is well served with a smile. this site is the best fitness 1440 they got everything necessary and contrary to some of their competitors they're not contract sharks they actually work with you I was a member there a few months and it worked out perfectly for me as it was close to where I worked at the time. went back today and the manager Mike took care of my issue of ending my membership even though this month payment already posted last Saturday. there are plenty of gyms nearby I probably tried most. this one will never fail you. the only reason I canceled my membership is cause I can't make the commute. don't hesitate! sign up they got all the machines you need to hit all body parts full strength room cardio machines indoor pool an epic forgot-everything-and-feel-the-burn room with a movie theater like projector sporting bad azz movies everyday (must check out!) sometimes they offer water with lemon slices and coffee if not they got filtered water machine and towels for those coming to kill it. one of the biggest sauna rooms kids play room ... great friendly staff and no bs-service management. seriously this place is really fun and fairly exceeds what you'd expect for very reasonable fee and doesn't get too crowded (well only rarely like Monday post work hours like every other gym) even then you can still get at least few things done. I don't ever post reviews but this one I needed when I was shopping for for a deal around the area. stay strong 👊

I have been a club member for the past two years. All the employees have always been helpful & cheerful. I do however wish the boxing equipment would be more accessible as it used to be. I encourage everyone to check the club out!! There is a pool & hot tub. The staff try to keep the club very clean which is appreciated.

I love this gym. They have a lot of great amenities like the Sauna, pool, fitness classes, and the body scan. I have Been a member over a year and this has been the best gym experience. I got Focus and consistent, now I’m down 20 pounds and counting. I have enjoyed the relationships that I have Built while being a regular at the gym.

Loved when I came. But when I moved. I called twice to cancel my membership. Still was charged. Had my credit company put a block on them from withdrawing anymore. But was resolved after my 3rd phone call w manager. Told me I would have to come in for any gym membership next time. Thanks to whoever handle that.

Everyone is nice. I was transferred to this gym as my regular one closed. It is sorta small inside but the equipment is good, the place is clean, hand towels are provided and there is an onsite cafe. Overall, I like being here. Just wish there more bottles of sanitizer around. Now, you have to hunt for one.

This is one of the best healthcare facilities in all of middle Tennessee, Nashville! Clean, well equipped, all the weight training equipment available, very large pool, large jacuzzi, nursery, both dry and wet saunas, personal trainers, programs for all ages. The management has no peer, accommodating, considerate, helpful, very friendly staff. The clientele is very eclectic and multicultural. They take Silver Sneakers. This 1440 helped me to survive and recover from a broken hip and has been indispensable in helping me lose weight and control my diabetic condition. I’m 68, it’s not an exaggeration to say I’d likely be dead if not for this gym. I think of it as a blessing. (I am not related to any of the management or staff and do not own stock in 1440.)

Overall it’s a nice place to work out with many activities. staff is always nice and helpful, the only reason I took a star away is because they don’t clean the pool as often as it should. the water is always murky and a bit salty. sometimes theres dirt and the wall of the pool is gray with dirt. since the building itself used to be a YMCA I remember how the pool was always kept clean so it’s a bit disappointing that the new owners are not keeping that up

I have been a member since summer of 2017, and1440 feels like home to me. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure their members have a clean facility to work out in. Regarding the recent pandemic, they have ensured that there are tons of disinfectant spray and hand sanitizers readily available to wipe down equipment and hands after use. If you want a community focused gym backed by customers of all walks of life, this is the place. I can't wait for the sauna to return!

I have worked out here for a couple of months. I absolutely love it! The staff from the beginning, have been very friendly, helpful and encouraging. I have enjoyed the pilates, target 24 and spin classes and also love doing my own workouts....so much top of the line equipment and variety of equipment to choose from! The gym is always very clean and the smoothies I have tried are really tasty! The cost of a membership is beyond reasonable for all that they offer!! This is just an awesome community centered gym where anyone could feel comfortable working out!!

Best gym in Nashville HANDS DOWN… the owner gave me a hydration drink bc I told him I felt dehydrated from the weekend, and he was incredible to get along with. The trainers are PHENOMENAL, if you need one ask for the legendary JUSTIN. It’s a little packed but you gotta get in where you fit in!!! The energy in here is unmatched than anywhere else I’ve been to.

I went in wanting to try out the daily pass for 10 dollars but they were nice enough to let me try it for free since it was my first day. I really enjoyed my time, the staff is very friendly, the equipment is clean, they have tv you can watch, a swimming pool to cool off, a sauna and a downstairs area where you can watch a movie and workout in the dark. I'll definitely be joining the elite membership but don't take my word for it, go in and have fun. I never felt pressured while I was (trying) heavy lifting and everyone was having a great time. Remember you gotta start somewhere and this is a wonderful place for you to start your journey.

Fitness 1440 is an amazing place with kind and understanding staff. Not many gyms have things for children to do that is what I love about this place. I was extremely excited to take my girls to dance class or swim. Although I didn't get to due to getting sick I hope to in the future. I highly recommend this gym to anyone they are always willing to help folks in any way they can, and ready to answer any questions you may have. I think when you sign up you also get a personal trainer for free for a visit. Fitness 1440 has some great classes as well on the schedule. I feel in love with this place the first time I walked in..recieved warm and welcoming greeting. I didn't just feel like a number or that they are just looking to make money they truly do care for their clients or customers. Fitness 1440 does go the extra mile for folks! I truly do love what they do here...i have walked into other gyms and never got a hello before but this place always welcomes ya with a smile 😃& acknowledges the individual that you are..go to FITNESS 1440 FOLKS I promise ya wont have any regrets. Amazing Facility! The staff are always smiling and encouraging. A time like this where health concerns are of great consideration the staff is constantly wiping down everything human hands come into contact with. Also, there are an abundance of Sanitation Bottles within the entire facility for good measure. The gym has everything you need! No complaints.

It's not a bad little gym. For anyone wanting to go in and come out, this gym works. I will say (as a whole) the facility should be bigger to have more room for more free weights and machines. Besides that, they have different classes for everyone. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I was content with my time there.

Fitness 1440 @411 Metroplex Dr. Nashville, TN 37211 is extremely amazing, every staff member I had the pleasure to come acquainted with goes above and beyond to assure you feel welcomed and just like 1 big gym family. Even when there were circumstances I was unable to attend, they showed so much concern and was looking out. I have been to a few different classes, which all were amazing, but with trying to be consistent and focused, even if some routines needed to modified due to health conditions, instructors Rashonda and Elaine are amazing and I have been able to obtain more energy, not to mention been able to do more challenges I thought I could not obtain due to my chronic injuries, even my doctor has given me props and has been amazed of my healthy turn around since I have been a member there. I just want to say thank you team/family, ya'll are all amazing and keep up the great work... oh and I am a picky eater, not by choice, and don't forger the Cafe with Jermaine and family, they haven't missed a mark and it is healthy, ya'll... come join us, you will really enjoy every moment!!!

Fitness 1440 has wonderful customer service, great child care and a very clean gym. Every time I leave and arrive there is always someone there to greet you. Not only do they always have smiles on their faces but they also have friendly people in their child care class. The convenience of being able to workout and trust that my daughter is in good care makes a workout even more enjoyable. All of the equipment is clean and they always have sanitizer spray and paper towels available. Lastly, I love their dance fitness class, water aerobics class, and the fact that they have fresh fruit available for their members! I love Fitness 1440!

I love this gym! It’s true what everyone else says, it’s like home. You walk in and you’re greeted with a smile and a warm hello, the staff is glad to see you, you can just tell. It’s not like other places where folks say “welcome” and the concept never reaches their face. These ppl mean it.! The place is exceptionally clean, especially the locker rooms/showers and pool/hot tub. If you’re looking for a great gym, look no further. You’ve found it!

Great gym with a great staff. I like this gym because it’s not a huge fitness center, depending on the location but it is also never over crowded. The workout areas are always clean and organized and I never have to go hunting around the room for more weights to use at whatever station I am at. There is even space outside at the location in Mt Juliet to take your cardio workout to the next level. I gave 4 stars because I don’t think my current location has a sauna which becomes useful for me in the cold months.

First started going to Fitness 1440 on Metroplex when I arrived to Nashville, enjoyed going there after work. Then I started going to the one on E Thompson and it was where I felt the most comfortable. Staff was great, always with a great attitude. If I lived in Nashville still I would definitely be going there again

i really love the different varieties of equipment and exercise programs they have. the cost of the membership at the time was kind of expensive with all the completion around it, not to mention if you wanted a personal trainer. although the Gym is a really great place and has conducive energy to work out, if they would lower there membership price, or include a personal trainer for 60 days, of dedication they might keep members, and gain more people to come.

I never like going to the gym, been member of 3 other gyms with no success and no guidance. I by chance saw that Fitness1440 opened and thought why not. I was impressed from the time I walked in the door. Staff is very friendly and they take the time to speak and know you by name. The equipment is great and there is plenty to get yourself and keep yourself in shape. So glad I joined and now look forward to going to the gym for the first time. Feels like a big family no one judging and all are there to help you reach your goals.

I love 1440. I have previously held memberships at the YMCA, planet fitness, Workout Anytime and the MAC, however, 1440 has been my favorite! By the way, this gym is open 24 hours! The trainers and the owners are all very nice. I train with Ryan (who is Amazing) but all of the trainers there seem to love what they do and are really there for their clients. If you're looking for a new gym, I definitely encourage you to stop by 1440 to check it out.

I unexpectedly had to move back to east TN and had to cancel my membership. I hated to do it. They’re so great! I met Nelson years ago when he first opened his doors, he was as passionate then as he is today. His facility has all the high end equipment you'd expect to see and the staff to match. The Personal Trainers are exceptional and will dedicate themselves to you reaching whatever goals you set for your health and fitness. Out of all the options you have in the area 1440 is the best of all of them. They are so good that our Company has maintained a partnership with him from the beginning and will continue as long as they are open.

I love Fitness 1440 on Harding! The staff is friendly, and it is one of the few (if any?) gyms in Nashville that has everything I need there: exercise equipment, track, hot tub, pool, sauna. Because of that, I was very sad, when after many years, the YMCA that used to occupy the building closed. So I was really excited when it reopened as Fitness 1440! I'm very grateful!

My partner Dean and i have been working out at this fitness center since September 2016. It is a great place to to get fit. Everyone, and I mean, EVERYONE who works there is friendly and helpful. We signed up with Markus for personal training and he has completely changed our idea of working out. When we started Dean would take his music and i would take my kindle. We thought we were having a good workout if we spent 40 minutes on a bike or treadmill and a few machines. One week with Markus showed us just how wrong we were. I will be 68 this year and I was starting to get short of breath with the slightest effort. We were both having trouble sleeping. Those days are behind us! We want to thank everyone at the center for making us welcome and helping us get fit!!

Just joined a month ago. Been going during my lunch breaks during the week. Great place to workout! Friendly staff always greets you when you walk in and assist with any questions. Plenty of equipment compared to members, you'll never be waiting on a machine or weights. They also have an awesome cafe in the building, where I've ate and loved the sandwich and salad. While I like working out here and the equipment, it’s is EXTREMELY CROWDED unless you go early or on the weekend. Also the total disregard for others and monopolization of equipment that they allow their trainers to employ during peak hours is deplorable. Good gym, great equipment, too many people.

Fantastic gym, fantastic staff, fantastic equipment. Everyone here is super nice and genuinely cares about ur well being. I joined from a gym in brentwood and have not regretted it at all. This place has a full basketball court, pool and a smoothy cafe. The trainers are top notch as well! I consider myself pretty fit but decided to try the free training session anyways, and that hour long workout was the best ive had in months

overall, this is a decent place to workout. they have a men’s sauna and steam room and public spa tub. at times though, the steam room has a musty, moldy odor. probably due to infrequent cleaning and/or disinfecting. generally, the workout room is not ioverly crowed but the music can be a little loud and not in my particular taste.

The good: Equipment is great and they offer a lot more than any PF could. Staff is friendly and willing to help. The Bad: Some Trainers seem way to pushy to get you into a training program. If you tell them you can't afford it right now they push to get you to commit. I know this is probably how these trainers are paid however the four walls (Shelter, Food, Utilities, and Transportation) of life must be taken care of first. I just want to go in work out and get advice if I don't need a trainer to tell me what works and what doesn't. Being a trainer and health care professional myself I can create my own plan. The whole thing is it takes commitment and motivation and that motivation is different for everyone so a trainers one size fits all approach isn't going to do it for me.

Been there for a month now and this place is great. You get two personal training sessions for free when you sign up and getting a personal trainer is extremely affordable. They have an indoor basketball court which I use to warm up which helps me not hate myself (as much) for getting up off the couch and trying to get fit.

The place is fair enough, you get what you paid for. THey are improving everyday since i start coming here. They have scan 3d and new devices to keep track of how many calories you burn. the Pool is good, sometimes the hot tube is an issue since a lot of times is not clean enough. THe staf is good, and I do recommend get some training with Mardae, ask for him he train you very well. and He really cares about your health
