Fern Creek CF has an awesome community and welcoming staff. Workouts are scaled for all abilities. Lots of equipment (GHD's, Air Runners, Bike and Ski Ergs, ECHO and Assault Bikes, Ropes for climbing, Rings for Muscle Ups) by top of the line companies (Rogue, C2, AbMat), that is maintained and facility is well kept. Large rig set up with plenty of space and options for doing any style of pull ups. Oly lifting platforms and set up in the back of the facility. Showers are also available.

I started here after my old box had to close back in the spring. The coaches and members have been extremely welcoming. The owners and coaches are quite knowledgeable, with years of experience, are happy to answer questions and are always providing feed back to help me learn and improve. I've recently got involved in their nutrition coaching and its been really helpful and eye opening. Before Crossfit, I was never a fan of the gym and could never be consistent. Now my top priority is making sure I make it to my class time, it's my favorite part of the day.

I started here a few months ago after my old box had to close suddenly. The staff and people here were extremely welcoming. They treat you like a member of the family and the community is really great! The owners and coaches are top notch. They are extremely knowledgeable, with years of experience, and are happy to answer my many questions. They also have really high quality equipment. I've recently got involved in their nutrition counseling and its really been helping me meet my health goals. I used to hate going to the gym and working out, but since joining here the gym is my favorite place, it just feels like home.

Fern Creek Crossfit is a great place where the staff is awesome, considerate, and very knowledgeable on fitness and explains all movements for your workout. And sees that that are being performed in a safe and accurate manner. The people who workout are as welcoming as they come. They make you feel you have been working out with them forever. Best place to begin your fitness journey! Can’t definitely say it’s been life changing. I started not knowing anything about fitness, but through this gym I’ve gained not only strength but knowledge as well. I’ve learned about nutrition and how to not only lose weight but maintain. I cannot say enough good things about the coaches and other members. They hold me accountable and always push my further than I think I can go. I’ve never looked forward to going to the gym or working out as much as I love attending this gym. Everyday is different and I learn something new every time I’m there. The competitor atmosphere pushes me to work my hardest and never give up. Truly an amazing place to go if you’re looking to start your own journey.

Amazing coaches, great leadership, and awesome owners! The atmosphere is very welcoming and yet they will push you to your limits! There are all shapes and sizes, all fitness levels, and a diverse group of people that make the killer workout experience less intimidating. Definitely recommend!

My experience with Fern Creek Crossfit has been nothing but a positive one. It is a well-equipped and maintained gym. The owners are constantly buying new equipment to ensure that there is never a limitation on the workouts that are prescribed. I enjoy and respect the coaching staff. They cater to new and advanced athletes. The community of athletes that go to this is gym are some of the nicest people that you will meet. I have always felt welcome and would encourage you to pay them a visit. Fern Creek Crossfit is a great place if you are thinking about making a positive change in your life.

After my original Box closed due to COVID, my former coach encouraged me and my other crossFit fam to join Fern Creek. At first I was very hesitant going to a new location. However, soon after my first class, I was highly impressed. Given that I work in healthcare, I value coaches who also value high quality, professional coaching with skilled knowledge of the body in regards to technique, with ability to grade an exercise according to personal needs ( ie. disability). Not only that, these coaches genuinely care about YOU, they try to get to know YOU so they can better help you meet personal goals. I have never had such support from a gym/coaches like I have had at Fern Creek. It is one place I would encourage anyone who may be contemplating on trying out CrossFit (at any skill level) to give a try, they will NOT disappoint. In all my years of trying different avenues of gyms to better my health, Fern Creek Crossfit has been the place where not only did I find a fit family who also values health and wellness, I found a place of support and a fun environment that I look forward to going to without dread. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.

Such a great community of healthy individuals that help you reach your fitness goals. Then Fern Creek Crossfit is the place for you. I started going to classes in November, and it has been great! All the coaches are top notch, they challenge, encourage and motivate me.Everyone at Fern Creek Crossfit make you feel like a part of a community. Thank you to all the coaches and members, you all make working out enjoyable...as enjoyable as burpees, the assault bike and lunges can be. FCCF is a great place to go if you feel like you want to be stronger, or healthier, or just more active in your life. Anyone and I do mean ANYONE can do this! I’m not small (280+#s) and I’m not as fit as I want to be. I can’t even do a single pull-up. (Yet) but I still get in there and do the work and scale the workouts to my abilities. There is a strong support network of coaches who will guide me and make sure I’m doing the movements properly. Don’t wait for a New Years resolution to start working on a new you!!!

I've attended classes with pretty much every coach this year, and all coaches run class the same way. This makes it easy to pop in to whatever time slot you need to and feel comfortable right away. This is my first CrossFit gym, and FCCF always provides scaling options for me if I am not yet able to perform the movements in the workout. FCCF currently uses the SugarWOD app to publish the workout and track scores, and it's fun using the app to keep up with other member's results for each WOD.

I joined Fern Creek CrossFit the morning of January 2 2018. I needed to make a change and I knew that CrossFit was the answer. As of today, my 1 month mark in, Ive lost over 8lbs of fat, gained a little more than a pound of muscle and feel 10x better than a month ago. It’s hard work, but that’s why it works. The coaches are all great and work with you to adjust the workouts to meet you where you are. That’s important! Anyone can do this, you just have to decide you want that change. And in my opinion the folks at FCCF, are the best.

In the middle of 2019 our first Crossfit box closed abruptly. We attended the original box about 2 1/2 years; we had great community there. Reluctantly, we began the search for a new Crossfit gym in the Jeffersontown and Ferncreek area. As we headed to dinner one evening, we spotted a guy running with a 45 pound plate at the corner of Bardstown Rd. and Hudson lane... we both said Crossfitter! After dinner we stopped at Fern Creek Crossfit to inquire about membership. First, we were warmly greeted when we entered and Coach Eric Lawson made us feel welcomed, answering all our questions. We began a short time later. Second, the folks at FCCF welcomed us from day one as part of the family. Third, we continue to see improvements in our fitness through the programming at this box. Fourth, What I like is that I’m 53 and ALL the coaches help me scale appropriately but also encourage me so that I improve even more. Coaching Community Commitment and Conscientious is how I would describe my box! We LOVE the folks at Fern Creek Crossfit. Come and be a part of our family!!

Love the community! ANYONE can do this - there's modifications for everything! I am 7.5 months pregnant and still come 3-4 days every week. Definitely recommend. Coaching is great, workouts are great, childcare offered at 5:30pm class.
