I owe a lot to Bar Method in helping me achieve my sculpting and toning goals. I’ve been taking Bar Method classes for so many years. All of the instructors are very helpful and enthusiastic. I always feel like I’m part of a family especially when instructors gets to know every student. The exercises are challenging but definitely feasible. It never feels routine especially when new exercises are incorporated with original ones taking us to higher levels. No matter how long of an absence I’ve had from the studio, I always feel like I’m back home. Thank you Bar Method!

Lovely studio space and wonderful people who work and teach there! I transferred from another studio after covid and life changes meant my schedule wasn’t well-aligned with the other location. They have Zoom classes, which I love, because I don’t have to drive anywhere and can still get real-time feedback and corrections from the instructors when I have my camera on. Plus, I leave every class feeling like I truly got a good workout in. I live about an hour, to hour and half away from the physical studio space, but I make it a goal to go take class in-person at least once per week!

Having been a long time Bar Method client on the east coast, I've been so happy to make the Bar Method Weho my new home. The front desk staff and teachers are all so nice. All classes from zoom to in-person are all challenging. I mostly do in-person but love the zoom feature when I'm traveling. The studio/teachers/clients make the Bar Method Weho a welcoming environment. I would highly recommend anyone add barre to their fitness routine (especially those with previous injuries due to the low impact nature of the workout.)

I’ve been an on-and-off Bar Method visitor for years in different cities and states but the studio at West Hollywood has far and away cemented my love for the workout. During the pandemic the online classes have provided such a great sense of routine, predictability, challenge, and community that I’m sure I’ll be a member for good! All the teachers are wonderful. Notably, the studio has offerings (even on Zoom) throughout the day and week, which sets it apart from other studios that have gone online. I love Bar Method and I especially love this studio!

I have taken a couple of classes at the Bar Method West Hollywood so far. One in person and a couple over the Zoom. I loved the studio, very bright, clean and modern looking. The owner, Mimi was extremely helpful and friendly. The instructor were also very helpful and on point with the tips she was providing and the personal attention. I strongly recommend this place. The Zoom class was also very convenient and I still got a great workout. I would strongly suggest Bar Method!

My wife persuaded me to join the Bar Method since the early stage of the COVID pandemic, and I am glad she did. She has been a member for over 10 years. The Bar method zoom classes are a great way to get a full body workout in less than a hour, without requiring much equipment. All the instructors and demonstrators are well trained, friendly, and encouraging. Due to an abdominal surgery in early August, I stopped taking the class for about 8 weeks. I restarted my class last week and with the exception of some muscle soreness for the first day (which is a good thing), I am on the mend. I highly recommend Bar Method, especially the West Hollywood Studio. For those who prefer live classes, the studio also offers live classes.

I loved my class - I met Mimi, the owner for the first time! and the class was amazing! She has run the Bar Method for years like a home business and her personal touch is everywhere! The studio is so warm and welcoming, The exercises are never the same but challenging and fun - the hour flies by. I usually take Jen's and Elizabeth's classes but I'm so happy there is now a Sunday afternoon class and Libby is a wonderful teacher, too, as are all the teachers there.

I have been going to this studio more than a year now and it is amazing. I saw the changes in my body instantly when I first started and since then I am working out to keep my shape. They have really good experienced instructors, and very welcoming stuff. The studios are always clean and pieceful. I started online classes a couple of weeks ago to try and tone up and it’s been absolutely amazing. The classes are great. I’ve been doing them 5 days a week. They are well organized, convenient, challenging and the instructors are excellent. They really watch you and provide feedback on your body position / posture corrections, so I feel safe doing them from home. I already see a difference in my body.

I wanted to update my old review with the same amount of stars. After 6 years I can truly say that Bar Method West Hollywood is truly an extraordinary place. Not only did the workout essentially save my back due to it's deep focus on core stability, but the teachers and staff are truly wonderful. Even after the quick pivot to Zoom during the pandemic, I always feel like I am getting personalized corrections and that the attention to detail and form of every student is addressed as needed. I also love the warm and welcoming community and cannot recommend it enough.

I absolutely thank The Bar Method West Hollywood for keeping my spirits up and body sculpted during this pandemic. I joined Bar Method WeHo's online community in July 2020 when I realized I needed to find a more permanent option for online workouts since my physical location (in Colorado) unfortunately closed. Despite being one hour ahead (Mountain Time vs. Pacific Time), I've found the online classes to work with my schedule. It helps that there are multiple options to choose from per day. If you can't make a "live" online class, the reruns are posted on our community Instagram and Facebook pages for you to take at your leisure. I prefer the "live" online classes though, as the instructors all know my name and provide corrections & compliments to hold me accountable. All of the instructors, demos who demo the online classes, and entire team at The Bar Method WeHo have been so professional, friendly, and welcoming. I urge you to join this community. I can't imagine what this pandemic would be without The Bar Method West Hollywood!

I finally tried a Bar Method class virtually and it was a great experience. Each instructor I took a class from was friendly, professional and very helpful. You can join the class 15 min early to chat. They help you adjust if necessary online as well. I honestly felt like I was in the studio! They were all so patient and kind especially with a newbie like me.

I love the atmosphere, the studio, the friendliness of the desk person, the teacher - in this case, Jennifer - the workout itself, which is stellar! The order of the exercises, adjustments, which are always personal. Jennifer always observes the slightest of movements. This is the best barre workout ever and makes me feel great when I leave. When anyone asks me which barre workout to take, among all the possible workouts, I recommend The Bar Method.

I began Bar Method in August, and was pleased to find this to be the perfect modality of exercise for me, and one that I've become so very passionate about continuing!! My love for Bar Method really became solidified once I began taking Jessie Schneiderman's classes; I traveled between the West LA, Brentwood, and West Hollywood locations and attended several instructors' classes, only to find that I naturally made it a point to attend Jessie's classes on Mondays and Thursdays (almost religiously)! Her students in her classes, like me, also come religiously to take class with her, because her charisma, purposeful focus on teaching form and technique, and strong rapport with each student are so endearing and incredibly appreciated. She will not stop until her students really feel the purpose of the exercise-- we legitimately lose track of time sometimes because she is so focused on helping each of us! Also, I track my calories burned with every barre class, and found it very interesting that my calories burned during her classes are usually significantly higher than when I take class with someone else! She really is motivating from the inside-out!!! :) I was disappointed to eventually find out that she no longer teaches on Mondays, and was wondering if it would be at all possible to have more opportunities to take class with her. I'm sure if you ask anyone else in her regular 6:30 and 7:45 classes, they would request for the same! :) Anyway, I wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity to be a member of your studio. Bar Method has really changed my life from the inside-out-- I have lost 20 pounds, and try to attend class almost daily because it has become a necessary and vital part of my self-care ritual and daily routine.

Emily remembered every student’s name and would let us know individually where our form was amazing and where we could improve. All the instructors here are fantastic but shout out to Nick and his saturday morning basics classes. With him i went from knowing nothing to feeling confident and coming in every day. You'll work hard and sweat but you'll also feel on top of the world. I moved away and had to find a new gym but to this day there are certain songs that make me feel the urge to tuck and dip!

I am obsessed with bar method for many reasons! First, the workout: it is a perfect mix of arms, legs, glutes, and core, and I have seen changes in my strength and muscle tone in all of these areas since starting bar. The class is fast paced and fun and I always feel challenged and sore after. I really appreciate how the exercises are developed by someone with a background in physical therapy, to achieve low-impact, balanced exercises that are safe and protective for all of our joints, while also being super challenging and yielding results. Second, the AMAZING instructors!! The instructors, in my opinion, are what make bar method unique, and keep me coming back. They go through intensive training with anatomy classes etc to make sure that us students are in proper alignment to safely and efficiently strengthen and tone ourselves! They make an extra effort to learn our names in order to provide personalized training. They provide hands-on adjustments to help with proper form. They are all so friendly and welcoming and I always feel encouraged to do better while taking every class. Lastly, the community. The front desk staff is so helpful and friendly, teachers lingering after and before class are great, the fun group challenges/sales make bar method a company I want to support, and a place I am inspired by and excited to keep coming back to. This place is great for all kinds of people looking for all levels of exercise. If you're looking for a supportive work out community that provides positive feedback look to Nick or Joyce as teachers. If you're looking for a no nonsense teacher who will never be pleased, they've got that too! If the class is too hard, they have an easy beginner class (and tons of adaptations of all of the exercises), but if you find the class is too easy, they have advanced class offerings to push yourself harder. All around great place to get into a routine!

I love Bar Method. The Teachers are all so friendly and helpful and positive. I never feel shamed if I can't do everything perfectly, I keep coming back, I think it has been 14 years and though I try other bar type classes sometimes, Bar Method is the best, I like the familiarity. The receptionists are competent, courteous and friendly, and the facility is well maintained and recently underwent a renovation making it even more welcoming and student friendly. I've been coming here for more than four years and the workouts are still excellent. Many of the teachers are Master Teachers, which means that they teach teachers all over the country. I took a Bar Express class with Jennifer Keyes on Friday and it was excellent as always. She takes the time to get to know everyone's name and really works on making sure that everyone's form is top notch. The class is 45 minutes and we got a great workout in that short amount of time! I also love all of the stretches during the class. The facilities are great and there's a shower so you can go before work and take a quick shower if you get sweaty. The front desk staff is super friendly and welcoming!

I love everything about Bar Method, beginning with Mimi's very helpful correspondence any time I've been in need and your willingness to work with me whenever I've needed to have my account suspended, then re-started at the same price I had before. THANK YOU for that, it means so much! Also the exercise itself is just the best. I've always hated exercise but I look forward to this one about as much as I can possibly ever look forward to any exercise, which is saying a lot. I love all your instructors, who have always been so kind and helpful to me, and I love the variety of locations. Everything is always so clean and pristine, and thankfully the classes are not overly crowded most of the time. The only thing I wish were different is that you'd have later classes on Sunday at places other than just WeHo. Jen K was AMAZING! I went with my sister-in-law and niece, all first timers. First, we were greeted by the sweetest gal ever at the front desk (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name). Then we met Jenn. I've never had an instructor for any type of class take the time to introduce themselves and go over possible limitations the way she did.She also remembered our names during class... That too impressed me.My sister-in-law has some injuries due to a car accident that Jen K took in to consideration every step of the way, making suggestions and adjusting positions.She was so helpful with showing us proper form to get the most from the class. Jen K is a fabulous instructor. Finally, I received a follow-up email from her checking in. What!!! That pushed our first time experience over the top. A very welcoming studio and, from what I have seen so far, an incredible staff. Will definitely be back!

The studio is warm and welcoming. The teachers are encouraging and inspiring. New students are well taken care of--starting at checkin. Remarkably, the teachers remember every students name and use it to make lots of form corrections (great for injuries) and to offer encouragement throughout class. If you concentrate on your form and work through your breaking point, you will quickly see results of a more graceful body. This workout focuses on lots tiny, controlled movements of your own body weight. This structure is meant to lengthen and lean muscles. I am so happy I found them in time to change my body for my wedding, and I'm so grateful for the wonderful atmosphere that keeps me coming back long after.

A great way to get toned! The express courses I took were quick and gave me a wonderful work-out. I got my heart rate up, broke a sweat, and was sore the next day (but not TOO sore). All good things! The ‘micro-movements’ of these courses really pack a punch.
