I hired Jason and Los Angeles Personal Training to help me get stronger (and fit in my old pants) after having two babies. Jason was super responsive and professional. He asked what my goals were and talked me through the process and sent the information in writing as well. He provided an 8-week postpartum diet, cardio, and strength plan. It allowed for modifications as a breastfeeding mother and was very doable, though it required a lot of dedication as expected. I worked with personal trainer Dennis who is very knowledgeable, prompt, and flexible with training times. They are both bodybuilders and are very knowledgeable about diet and fitness, including knowledge beyond just heavy lifting. I am fitter and stronger than I was before having both babies and they have refreshed my dietary habits such that I have been able to maintain my weight during the holidays with ease.

It’s been a great experience training over the past 3 months. Jason provided a detailed nutrition plan at the start and Dennis has been an excellent trainer. They both have bodybuilding experience so they know better than anyone how to transform your body. After a phone conversation with Jason, he sent a trainer to my home, Alisa who was very knowledgable about fitness and nutrition. She brings weights, bands and other equipment with her each session. I have been training for only three weeks and I am extremely pleased with my results, as far as strength, stamina and posture. Jason’s a really great trainer. I do the virtual personal training program because I know form, I just don’t have the knowledge to build my own plan. Jason’s always been very responsive whenever I have questions. He doesn’t give you a cookie-cutter plan; I have a few physical limitations and my gym doesn’t have the widest variety of equipment and he was very understanding and helped find the right exercise substitutions.
I found the diet plan really helpful because it’s flexible enough where I can try different foods, but specific enough about how much and when to eat so I actually see results. Be clear with your goals and stick to what he says and you’ll definitely be happy with where you are in just a few months.

I live in Chicago so I used Jason's online personal training. It was a great experience especially for the price. He would monitor my workouts each week and let me know if I should be able to go heavier on an exercise based on everything else I was doing. He'd also review my recorded diet and tell me where to tweak things. He was also good about reminding me to update my weight and progress pics, and he'd adjust the workouts or diet based on that. He was honest about how much weight/muscle I should expect to gain and didn't try to make huge promises just to get business.

Jason is results-oriented, and he knows exactly what it is going to take to achieve the results you want. Training with Jason Kozma has been a real learning experience.
When I started my 8 week fitness/nutritional plan with him, I was “skinny-fat” I only ate a real meal once or twice a day and never lifted weights. He taught me how and what to eat and how to sculpt my body. I weigh exactly the same as when I started but lost fat and gained muscle. I went from 18% body fat to 13% Jason always made the workouts fun but effective.

Jason and his team are the trainers to go to if you are serious about strengthening your body and losing weight. After back surgery and having 2 kids a few years ago, I had gained weight and lost both core strength and my back was very weak. Jason created an eating plan that resulted in me losing 14lbs in 8 weeks (simply by following the plan) and his colleague Brandon was able to significantly increase both my core and back strength. During Covid, I got a bit lazy with working out, which would normally be running on the treadmill at the gym 2-3x per week. I had such low energy that the idea of working out felt like such a chore. I had gained about 5lbs in 4 months and I wanted to jump start my energy and also utilize this down time to try something I had never done before!
I found Jason online and read all the amazing reviews on how fast he could transform someone's body into exactly what they wanted. I love fast results, but I also did not think I would be able to lose a ton of weight as I was starting at 134lbs / 5'7. Boy, was I wrong! I have been working out with Jason for 6 weeks now and have lost 10lbs, I feel stronger than ever, I can see muscle definition in all areas of my body that I have never been able to see before.
Jason outlines a personalized nutrition program that felt hard the first week, but now I don't think I would ever go back to how I was originally eating. I stopped craving any foods I wasn't able to have after only a few days. The nutrition program definitely plays a large role in your end results, very important to follow properly.
I had no experience in weight lifting/muscle training because I normally only did cardio. After 6 weeks, I can say my body looks extremely strong, toned and lean. Which is exactly what I had asked from Jason in our first meeting!
5 stars all the way, I will continue working out with Jason, because I love the way I feel and look! If you tell him what your end goal is, however crazy you may think it seems, he will create the plan to get you there in a matter of weeks! You will not be disappointed!

I read that Jason was one of the best trainers out there and definitely he is. He gave me an appropriate nutritional menu plan and it works. He motivates me to push past my perceived limits to get a result. Every workout is intense but every workout is also different. He utilized free weights as well as weighted machines to build my strengths. I have incredible energy, my balance and flexibility have improved immensely. His goal is clearly to get his clients as healthy and fit as possible. I highly recommend him!!!

Here is my story which ultimately led me to meeting, Jason, amazing trainer/transformer:
My journey all started with a low thyroid condition combined with needing to take steroids for a related inflammatory health condition. As a result I had gained an extreme amount of weight. I had tried out different trainers in LA, some very expensive. Over a one year period my weight didn't even go down even 1 pound. Frustrated, I almost gave up, but then I came across Jason's website one day as I was searching for experts in weight loss. I decided to meet with him, and set up a consultation. In that one consult Jason blew me away with his immense scientific knowledge! He explained to me why I wasn't losing weight, despite all my work with those LA trainers. Jason laid out a complete program for me to follow that combined his pioneering weight training and work out techniques with specific supplements and a detailed nutrition program that was customized to my issues (thyroid, female hormone imbalance and age). He also gave my program all written up in a folder, including homework to send to him of my meals, etc (all included in his training fee!). Blown away! I am in the medical field myself, and I was surprised that he knew even more than the doctors I have been going to who didn't seem to have a clue on how to help me lose my weight or feel better.
As I embarked on Jason's program, I began to have more energy. Friends told me I was starting to glow, and wanted to know my secret. Every week working with Jason, I would lose weight on the scale, and by 6 weeks I lost 27 POUNDS with Jason!!!!!! Whoa, I am in complete shock! When other trainers I worked with over one full year couldn't make a difference, Jason helped me transform my body and my life within a short span of time! And I am happy to say I am continuing to make positive changes in my weight, my muscles, the way I carry myself and my energy. God Bless you Jason!
It's a treat to work out with Jason as he is very serious about technique and posture. He is very attentive to my form when we work out, and is "no nonsense". Over time he has also been my confidante... a real life coach. I can say he truly cares about his clients. I looked up his credentials, and he has been a Mr. America himself with so much in-depth knowledge about the body, muscles, metabolism, hormones and physiology, and has helped so many clients not only feel healthier and strong, but also win their own fitness contests too! One day I would love to try for a contest with Jason's guidance.
I normally don't write reviews but felt compelled to let everyone know about my journey in the hopes it may inspire someone else who thought there wasn't any hope. From someone who never wanted to get out of bed due to my health issues to someone who now has energy, who has shed so much weight, who loves her body now.... I am feeling so much better about myself and self esteem. I have never felt or looked better. I trained with Jason for over 3 years. During those years I have never felt or looked better. As I have gotten older, the importance of living a healthy lifestyle has dramatically increased. The demands of work make the process even more difficult.
However, Jason manages to find a program that works with anyone's chedule no matter how demanding. Besides organizing the very best workouts for me, he also organized a diet plan and followed up diligently to make adjustments to ensure I met my goals. Anyone who is serious about being healthy, feeling good and looking great should call Jason.
My only regret today is that I have moved to China for work and I can not convince Jason to follow suit to continue training me.

A plan that really works! It's been a year now since my journey with Jason began. I'm still sticking with it. I lost 20lbs and have kept it off. If you can open your mind and follow his instruction, it will work for you. Diets fail due to lack of guidance. Progress in the gym fails due to diet problems. Jason can help you with both. It drives me nuts to see fat people work so hard in the gym but stay fat. Jason's plans get results. I look better but I also feel a million times better AND STRONGER!

I have wanted to work out and get into the habit of going to the gym for a long time now. I found Jason on google and he connected me with Jerry. Jerry trains me and I work with Jason on my diet to make sure I am exercising and getting all the foods/supplements I need for my body. It's the best thing I've done!!!!!! Now I know how to properly use the equipment and I will be able to go to the gym on my own. My body has been changing slowly. I lost a little weight, but my body is just turning the fat into muscle at this point. Which is completely fine. My weight is not a problem for me, but my muscle composition is so much better now. My waist is thinner and my arms are more toned. I used to be uncomfortable wearing sleeveless clothing and now I am able to dress as I like without feeling insecure. Training with Jason Kozma will be the best money you’ll ever invest in yourself. Jason will analyze your weight, bodyfat, and measurements to create a custom meal plan and exercise program based on your fitness goals. While training if he sees that you need an adjustment to your meal plan he will do so. Show up focused, do what he says, eat what he says, and you will get the results you want.
In March 2018 I reached a wall in current meal prep and fitness plan. I just couldn’t lose the weight I wanted to before my sister’s Bachelorette in June! Desperate, I turned to Jason, who I wanted to train with for years. I followed his meal plan 87% of the time, worked out with him as instructed 3 times a week, and worked out on my own about 2-3 times a week. From March 25, 2018 to June 15, 2018 I lost 18.5 lbs and 10% body fat!!! I will continue to train with Jason to decrease body fat and gain muscle. Not only have I seen immediate results with Jason (despite having a thyroid problem), but he's also kind-of funny and not a complete pain in the ass to be around. :) Seriously though: he attends to nutrition, weight loss, and strength training with focused precision. I've been working with Jason for two months, and started a program with him after hitting a plateau with my former exercise routine (mostly pilates, a bit of cardio) and not seeing results. I didn't have a lot to lose, but did end up losing ~6 lbs and 6% body fat.
I've worked with several trainers in the past, and none have given me the results I was looking for. I have a tendency to befriend my trainers and negotiate with them on days when I'm feeling tired or off. Jason doesn't let me do any of that (which sucks in the moment but is better for you in the long run!). He's strict about the exercises and generally knows what you can handle (but will adjust if you're in pain or really struggling), and also knows what exercises to avoid depending on your goals.
I followed his meal plan 100% for about 3 weeks, then about 75-80% for the rest of the 5 weeks. Even with not being fully compliant, I still saw meaningful results. I look forward to continuing to work with Jason and to attaining even better results!

P.S.: I should point out that when I met you I was trying unsuccessfully to lose weight on a 1000 calorie a day diet. While training with you for my first NPC bikini contest we had me losing fat while eating 2641 calories a day at 5 weeks out! We had gone from 22% body fat at the beginning to 13% at that point, to 10% on show day. Amazing!
