Looking for a safe, supportive community to get a great workout in? Fit4MomHonolulu is helping me form healthy habits, build strength and endurance, and ultimately more confidence in taking care of the wellbeing of myself and my family. From Stroller Strides to Stroller Barre and run club, I love that I can have an hour to exercise with my 15month old without searching for childcare, but what really makes me a fan of Fit4Mom is the bodyback program. It is rigorous, but doing the high intensity interval training in a community of moms with supports for meal planning and workout videos, I am more motivated and healthy than ever and can see noticeable changes. I will definitely be signing up for the next 8 week series! First class is always free, all abilities welcome.

The first time I learned about Fit4mom Honolulu, I saw a bunch of women having fun and exercising together while pushing their babies in strollers. I knew that was something I wanted to try. I signed up for my first Fit4mom stroller strides class for free with my 2 year old and I was hooked! Fast forward to 5 sessions (8 weeks each) of the body back program and my son and I still look forward to the workouts and playtime. I feel stronger, more energetic and overall healthier. The community of supportive moms inspire and motivate me to continue a healthy lifestyle with my family. Fit4mom has been a blessing to me and my family for so many reasons. It is not just a fitness program, it offers challenging workouts while knowledgeable coaches teach us about nutrition, accountability and healthy habits. As a mom, we give so much of ourselves to everyone else. Fit4mom allows me to focus on myself, guilt free!

I have been a member of Fit4Mom Honolulu for just over 3 years. The variety of classes offered (from expectant mom workouts, to stroller workouts with children, to working out without children) the options are endless. The best part about Fit4Mom is that it is a community of like-minded, welcoming moms at all fitness levels. The instructors are amazing at giving you modifications to make the workout more or less challenging. Takara (the owner) has scheduled multiple locations and times for classes which helps both working moms and stay-at -home moms find the perfect schedule to meet their needs. Come check out a class!

I have been a member of the Fit4Mom Honolulu Family since fall 2015! I love that the classes can adapt to your changing family needs! I started with Stroller Strides when my youngest was still a toddler. It’s so rewarding to get an amazing workout in with your little one beside you! Now that my daughter is older I am a firm believer in the Fit4Mom Body Back program! Body Back is not just a one time 8-week session and then you’re done type of program. Rather it’s a roadmap that provides you with the building blocks to create sustainable lifestyle changes! I am currently in my third consecutive session and I plan to keep going for at least a full year. I am a completely different person than I was 8 months ago and I can’t wait to see what lies ahead further down the road!

Fit4Mom is not just about fitness, it's about syncing up with other moms and building a supportive community that honors the journey of motherhood. I started attending Fit4Baby classes at 8 weeks pregnant! The moms I worked out with have become a pillar of support, information, and fun. The workouts/classes are challenging, fun, and helped me get in shape for labor & postpartum recovery. The BodyBack program got me into pre-pregnancy shorts and yoga pants within 5 weeks of being in the program. It's one of the best groups I've ever been a part of... it has been my HAPPY during quarantine as classes are now available online and through a digital library.

I have been with Fit4Mom Honolulu for a bit over a year! This is my 4th Body Back session. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE it. That’s why I am still around. I love that we are all moms, so we understand each other. I wasn’t athletic at all before I joined Fit4mom Honolulu. This program transforms me more than I can imagine. I can finally say that I love running and I can run fast. WHAT?? I love eating the food I made. I can’t imagine that I used to be only cook 5 times a year just about 1 year ago. On top of that, you are loved by the people who workout aside you. They are truly happy for you and your changes. No judgment. See for yourself. You won’t regret it.

I rarely (never) write reviews, but Fit4Mom has literally changed my life. I started with their Stroller Strides classes after I had my first child, and I continued when I had my second. The owner, Takara, is well organized and knows how to nurture her village with positive, respectful and fun instructors who are incredibly supportive. The moms in the village are equally as supportive and never make you feel ashamed for showing up late or having a bad day. If your kid has a tantrum (they all do), nobody judges you. The kids and babies can play together after workouts, which is always a plus.
When I went back to work full-time, I joined the Body Back program. Again, this was life-changing. The program is not focused on losing weight or physical appearances (although improvements do happen). It is about reclaiming your body as your own and, for me, has brought back the version of myself I forgot was there all along. I have learned how to be a better mom by being a better person overall and can feel the improvements not only in the physical sense but also social-emotional aspects. The skills I have learned from this program have become lifestyle changes, and I feel truly blessed to have been a part of it. Again, the village is incredibly supportive and feels like a sisterhood. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you, Takara and Fit 4 Mom Honolulu. I only wish you could clone yourself and open in Cleveland for my sister, too :)

I participated in my first 8 week Body Back program and the results have been amazing! After years of struggling with my weight I am finally seeing results and I feel better. This program is the real deal and its not just about fitness and a strong workout routine. This program encompasses nutrition, sleep and self care all of which help you reach your goals! The community and leadership are very supportive and encouraging. I would highly recommend this program. I have even recommended it to others in the state they live in.

What an incredible group designed for moms! I completed a Body Back session with Takara as my instructor and I am so pleased with the whole experience. This program offers challenging, dripping sweat workouts to learning how to eat better and helps you understand what your body needs to perform at its best. Fit4mom Honolulu makes exercise and creating your village of friends with kids easy. I started fit4mom Honolulu when I was pregnant. The fit4baby prenatal exercise classes gave me energy during my pregnancy and helped me during my long labor. Stroller strides slowly got me back into exercising after baby was born. The body back program has been transformative, not only for my body but also my mind and spirit. Have gained organization skills. For example, healthy meal prepping has become a habit that helps our family eat healthy all week long and saves us money we used to spend eating out. Have also made friends for both myself and baby and have strengthened friendships. I have noticed a increase in my energy levels and have a more positive outlook on my life, thanks to the regular doses of endorphins : ) I am also fitting my pre-baby clothes! Fit4mom has created programs and classes for whatever stage of motherhood you are in. Prenatal, stroller, and exercise classes with a play group for keiki to be entertained while you exercise. Come play with us! I promise you won’t regret it.

Excellent program! Body Back is just what I needed when I needed it. I started Fit for Mom program with Stroller Strides when my son was about 10 weeks old. I have attended two days per week and definitely feel stronger and the bonus was making a wonderful group of mom friends. My son is 17 months now and I was ready for a new challenge. Body Back was an excellent step up in Intensity and investment of time. I love the focus on eating healthy foods. It all just makes so much sense without being fussy or inducing guilt or shame. The information and weekly challenges are parsed out in doses that are challenging but do able. I have found the structure of B.B. to be inspired and motivating. I have done way more that I thought I would when I started. It is all so fun I find myself wanting to do more and be involved. I love that each week offers a different workout and variety fitness challenges. It keeps it fresh. It’s so much more than a work out.

STROLLER STRIDES:
Baby stays in the stroller while mom works out - and that workout includes singing songs, moving locations, the instructors blow bubbles, etc - so the kiddos stay happy! After having my first child, this group saved me from the isolation that motherhood can sometimes bring. These mamas are so welcoming, non-judgmental, and a wonderful mix of people. There’s a play date after every class so the kids become friends too!
FIT4BABY:
When I became pregnant with my second baby, this class was an obvious choice for me. Kept me fit and active with pregnancy-safe exercises, and it was great connecting with the other preggo moms. I went to class right up till the night before I went into labor - and the delivery was so easy!
BODY BACK:
And when you’re ready to take it to the next level, DO THIS PROGAM. It’s life-changing. You get an intense workout while your kids play supervised within your sight. You get nutrition coaching, accountability, and most importantly, a supportive group of mamas that lift you up and motivate you in the best way possible. The way I feed my family and show them how to lead a healthy lifestyle has forever changed because of this program.

I saw the ads on FB that they have an open house offering one free Body Back (B.B.) class so I went for a try.
It's an one hour workout, twice to three times a week for a total of 8 weeks. (The third class is complimentary) During this one hour, you will have 15 minutes warm up, 30 Mimi of HIIT workout and 15 minutes of cool down. Don't think 30 minutes of workout is short, the instructor/owner, Takara, will make sure you get your exercise. I'm sure you body will be sore.
The package comes with 2-3 classes a week and Takara makes the program so fun. She will give you different assignment each week to make sure you workout 5 days a week. She also teach you how to eat right, portion control, prepare your weekly meals, handle stress, and sleep well. The most important is the people that you workout with are all mamas who's so understanding and supporting each other. The best part is at some location, there’s FREE ON SITE BABYSITTING SERVICE. You can workout and watch your kids playing at the same time and it’s FREE FREE FREE. Omg, where are you find this kind of service on the island!
I'm so happy I found this program, it's even better than training for the full marathon.
If you are serious about change your body, if you are struggling about your weight after having kids, you definitely wanna join B.B. class. Find the best class and location to fit your schedule, stick with the program and show up at each class. I guarantee you will see the result in 8 weeks. It's the most well-spent fitness program I've ever had.
