I can't say enough good things about Crossfit Icehouse. It's the best gym in town with elite, dedicated and passionate coaches. Coach Sara and Courtney have really found their niche, they care about the whole you and strive to make all aspects of your live better, starting with fitness. I love being able to go to a place where I feel instantly comfortable and able to be my best self. The programming is strong and if you stick to it you will see benefits in ways you weren't expecting. Something that's unique about this place is the community. When you join Icehouse you join and extended family. If you're on the fence about checking out Icehouse or worried that crossfit isn't for you, consider this your wake up call. This place is truly special and we're waiting for you to be a part of it.

I dropped in three times over the course of a week while I was in town for business. I wasn't sure what to expect walking in, but quickly discovered that Sara and Courtney run a great facility. They're professional, friendly, down-to-earth people, good coaches who emphasize safety and proper lifting technique in their classes. I was glad to see they are very attentive to their members in class, they stay engaged the whole hour, and offer encouragement and feedback throughout the class. They have high quality equipment and take good care of their space. Overall, the atmosphere and energy of the gym are good. It's a good place to get a good workout. If I'm back in Fargo, I'll stop in again for sure.

Wow! I am so impressed by this gym! The staff is friendly and so helpful...and the atmosphere is not intimidating at all! You get a personal trainer that provides you with customized workouts so you can achieve your goals!! I have already seen improvements in strength in less than a month! Those personalized workouts have helped my knee injury a bunch by strengthening other muscles! Man what a place!!! Thanks for all you guys do!!!

Being an artist my whole life I have never and I mean NEVER considered myself an athlete. The coaches and fellow athletes instantly made me feel welcome. The programming is unlike anything I’ve seen at other gyms, you guys, it is written specifically for me and what my body needs! I live with fibromyalgia and getting to workout without massive flair ups is huge!!! I cannot recommend this gym enough!

CrossFit Icehouse is amazing! Personally, I lacked the motivation to workout and stay healthy and this gym gave me that motivation back. I have a background in sports but there are people of all different abilities and we all help one another. It's a positive atmosphere where the coaches want to see you do well and don't just care about whether you've paid or not. This gym brought me back to life! Definitely recommend to anyone looking to get back into shape or just spice up their current workout routine. 5 stars ✨

Incredible coaches and community. As a relatively non-athletic person looking to add structure and strength-training to my half-a$$ed, solitary cardio routine, I was initially nervous about the physical demands and class-based routine of a CrossFit gym. I'm so glad I overcame my hesitation. Sarah and Courtney offer insight on everything from how to improve your back squats by curling a toe, to how to make a space for fitness and positive attitude in your everyday life. The community they've built reflects those insights, and their commitment to growth shows in their bright, welcoming new space. Every class manages to be both familiar and new enough to stay interesting. Over the past six months, I've noticed remarkable improvements in my running, my everyday strength and flexibility, and my overall health. I can't recommend CrossFit Icehouse highly enough!

Amazing place to workout! Coaches are extremely knowledgeable and motivating! They can modify your workouts to your fitness level, and increase them as you improve. I hated going to gyms before because I always felt self-conscious about the shape I was in, but decided to give this place a try. I am so glad I did, this is the most non-judgemental place I have ever worked out at, the community is so supportive and friendly, nothing but high fives and smiles at the end of a workout because you all finished! I will never go anywhere else!!

Initial reaction was humbleness. The coaches, Sara and Courtney were terrific. They accommodated your skill/fitness level, they were encouraging, and they gave you their undivided attention. As I grew with the gym they continued this philosophy and also pushed you, they decided to add this guy name Jake 😜 and his attitude and enthusiasm further reinforced the way this gym is ran and should be ran! I am proud to call these guys my friends and call the gym my second home.

The atmosphere is competitive in the best way possible where everybody is pushing each other to be the best that they can be to reach their goals. While I've always loved playing sports, I never enjoyed simply working out (e.g. lifting weights, going for a run, etc...) until I found Icehouse. I was very reluctant to try crossfit for a number of reasons, but Courtney and Sara earned my trust and I now look forward to going as much as possible. They have created an environment that is supportive and fun. I am in far better shape than I was when I started, and I'm enjoying myself far more than I ever expected. The coaches are also very focused on safety, which is important to me. I love this place!

CrossFit Icehouse quickly became my home away from home, and being in the best shape of my adult life is just an added bonus!! The cost of crossfit usually causes people to hesitate, but it's definitely worth every penny! When I had a regular gym membership, I would maybe get there 2-3 times a week... however, at Icehouse I am usually there 5 times a week, and on weekends when possible! It's extremely addicting, in the best possible way! Don't hesitate, drop in and check it out!!

Icehouse is great, highly recommend for any level of skill. They will scale the workouts to be exactly your level and it is a very positive environment. I am not one that usually has the motivation to do fitness on my own, but with Icehouse you go in for an hour and are usually sore the next day just doing what they tell you. The only planning you have to do is to show up. The coaches are very knowledgeable. If you have any hesitation or are intimidated or lazy about fitness, don't worry they will support you here. They seem to know the science of exercise. I would recommend to give it a try.

When I first joined Icehouse over a year ago I was nervous - I had read a lot about the potential to get hurt doing crossfit, and I had never really lifted weights before (I spent the first three months figuring out which name went with which lift). Sara and Courtney (owners and coaches) are meticulous about safety and proper training. They continue to tweak my lifting form, but I'm now confident in what I do at the gym (I'm also a lot stronger). They create a space where you can ask questions that feel dumb, but aren't. If you're new to crossfit, this is the place to start. Going to a class at Icehouse means that I'll get a much better workout than I would on my own at a gym. But the best part is that I don't have to think about what that workout will be. I show up and Sara or Courtney will tell me what to do and how to do it. It's like having a personal trainer without paying the price of a personal trainer or suffering through a workout alone. The coaches know their stuff and will help figure out what you're capable of doing. I've been surprised by how much this gym has become a happy place for me. The space is brand new and amazing, and the people are supportive. I'm not sure I would have stuck with crossfit if I had started at another gym. If you're skeptical or uncertain, this might be the gym for you.

I'm not a competitive person. I didnt play sports growing up and my fitness background is working out on the elliptical when I had a free membership in college. So in other words I wasn't too sure about Crossfit. However, Icehouse Crossfit is amazing. I went to friends and family week a year ago and experienced not only a really intense but doable workout (everything is scaleable) but an amazing camaraderie. The Icehouse Coaches have created a community that's welcoming and fun. A few months later I joined bootcamp and eventually became a member. My only regret is not joining earlier.

The community at this gym is excellent and the coaches are all first rate. You'll get a hard workout here, but you're never pushed past your limits and it's fine to try and fail. The coaches always keep your safety in mind. Give it a try. You'll probably like it.

I was nervous to even try because I was so out of shape, and now I am amazed at what I can do less than a year later. If you can't do a movement, the coaches offer alternatives that challenge you without being easy. The coaches are incredible. The other members are amazing. Anyone can do this. And this is the place to do it.

If you think you know what crossfit is already because you do a lot of research on Facebook, I would ask that you drop your expectations of what you think you'll find. I thought I would not be able to work-out at a crossfit gym because I've had 3 knees surgeries. Wrong. I thought I couldn't do it, because I skipped leg day for 24 years. Wrong. I thought I wouldn't like it because it's a gym and they lift weights. Wrong. If you want to get in shape, have fun while doing it, never have to wonder what "work out" you should do, become a part of a community, get crazy, loud, fun, weird...and at the same time surprise yourself at what your body can do... Then maybe you should set up a meeting. Sara and Courtney are 2 amazing coaches and people!

The group training classes also gave me the opportunity to meet some other people in the community who are positive and striving to be the best versions of themselves.
