Mary Louise King is a very sweet & loving person who gives herself genuinely to all her students, we all love her! I personally take the Silver Sneakers & yoga classes from her. She has always explained the exercises beforehand & went through them all with us. She is a terrific instructor! My strength , flexibility & balance has improved tremendously! I have had various injuries in my body & had to use canes for 2 years & have been off them for a year! I know my exercising had help in every way to recuperate! I give thanks to Mary Louise King in my improvements & my work in doing them too!

Mary Louise is a vibrant, caring trainer. I enjoy her classes at the South Charleston Rec Center. Between Pilates and other exercises I get a tremendous work out. Just before I began talking her classes I was awaiting an appointment with my doctor. I was concerned that I had no energy and wanted to sleep all the time. Fortunately I began going to Mary Louise’s class and this is no longer a problem! We are encouraged to do our best and can do our exercises at our own level. So glad I began attending!

Mary Louise is an excellent instructor and very knowledgeable about yoga and pilates. Her classes are both invigorating and relaxing at the same time! She is very encouraging and also has a kind heart. It is nice that she offers modifications in case a move is too difficult for someone, this makes her classes relevant for a wide variety of fitness levels. She’s the best!!! 😊

When I retired 3 years ago I joined Mary Louise's chair fitness class which made a difference right away in how I felt. Then the coronavirus shutdowns started and I got away from exercising in a group setting . Recently I was excited when a friend recently asked me to come with her to a chair yoga class. I was excited to see Mary Louise teaching it. She has an encouraging way of teaching that makes me want to return. She is very descriptive so I know what to do. She also changes things around so that it makes it more engaging. It is now on my calendar weekly to attend and may go to some of her other classes.

Awesome training with weight loss snd strength results! And I’m 71! Given MaryLouise’s many certifications in Yoga, Pilates, Personal Training & Silver Sneakers, I feel confident with her. Her explanations of muscular skeletal and energy flow with the vagus nerve and even nutritional tips have all positively impacted my muscle building and stretching to avoid and help overcome existing obstacles. With COVID, I haven’t been to the gym since March 2020 and I was taking classes there every day. MaryLouise has enabled me to continue my strength and flexibility. AND I have lost weight and am no longer taking my blood pressure med. MaryLouise delivers all this with a big smile and lots of fun!

She has been so helpful to me this year. I have had several surgeries. Each one left me weak. She has been able to council me and provide exercises that I was able to do at home in the absences of a gym. I find her rates to be EXTREMELY responsible for private lessons. The environment is private and safe. If you are looking for someone that offers several different services, I think you should give her a try. She has several different certifications. I hope this will help someone else.
