Being a former Division 1 athlete, I always enjoyed strength training, but I didn’t really see the purpose of it after competing at a collegiate level. Fast forward a couple of months joining G-Strength was one of the best decisions I could have made. I’m not only stronger, but I’m more confident in myself. The atmosphere is great, the coaches are awesome and everyone at the gym pushes you to be better. As soon as you walk through the doors the energy is high and you are welcomed – I highly recommend checking this gym out!
It can be nerve wracking to try a new workout routine and/or go to a new gym, but that's not the case whatsoever at G- Strength. The trainers are incredibly friendly, patient, and thorough in their knowledge.
Even during the small group classes I've received lots of personalized attention and feedback. All of the trainers listen to what you're trying to accomplish and help you get there. And the rest of those in the class have been nothing short of encouraging. The small groups are never overwhelmingly large, making them feel intimate and not all all intimidating.
And the results speak for themselves -- after just a month I've absolutely noticed my body getting stronger and transforming before my eyes. I signed up for a second month with no hesitancy. 100% recommend!!
My experience at G-Strength has been superb from the trainers understanding my goals/needs. The team of trainers are great motivators and teachers of their work to ensure you'll do the exercises in a healthy matter and correct to mitigate injuries. I've learned a tremendous amount regarding strength building and eating healthier in order to reach my goals efficiently all due to the trainers input. In general, the small group meetings are welcoming and enjoyable as a person who usually likes to do things by myself. The atmosphere is fantastic and would certainly recommend to all individuals whether a beginner to strength building, or higher level athlete as the trainers understand your physiology on an individual level. Looking forward to the growth of G-Strength.
I wanted to start strength training as a complement to my yoga practice and joined G-Strength a month ago, and I could not be happier with my decision. I absolutely love the small group training format, and working with a trainer has been priceless. Daniel brings the perfect blend of professionalism and encouragement, while also pushing me to my potential. My performance has skyrocketed and I'm working with weights that I never thought I'd reach so quickly (started at 15-20lb goblet squats Week 1 and progressed to 40lbs in just a month, who am I?!). The direction on form and progression is invaluable. I especially wanted to work smart with the time I have, and the 60 minute classes and workouts with a focus on compound exercises are perfect for my schedule. Could not be happier and I'll keep coming here for as long as I'm in Philly!
I came to G-Strength without weight lifting experience and wanted a place where I could build strength under the direction of professionals. I'm about 10 months into my membership and could not be happier. Daniel and team provide just enough guidance and motivation to help push me closer to my goals without being overbearing or intimidating. Their new Queen Village location is massive and provides a great atmosphere for small group workouts. Highly recommend it!
I’ve been coming to G-Strength since March of 2022 and it was my best decision of the year! The past 8 months I have seen my body change not only building muscle and feeling stronger but helping with my mental health too! Gian and his team of trainers are the best. I’ve been mostly working with Jared and he is extremely welcoming, patient and knowledgeable about all things strength training and push’s us to what we are comfortable with! Not to mention other gym goers, all are so friendly! I really enjoy the small class size too! Up to 6 ppl can join a class :) Cheers to G-Strength and Looking forward to what the new year will bring!
After about two years without a gym, I’ve been at G Strength for about six weeks now - and I’m loving it! The coaches are personable, patient and super knowledgeable. It can be nerve wracking to join a new gym, but the G Strength team made the transition easy. I look forward to going to the gym now, which isn’t something I’ve experienced in a while.
I’ve been going go G strength for about 6 weeks now and I am already so impressed with my results! As a woman, weightlifting can be intimidating but I feel so comfortable & empowered at G strength. I always hated the gym but now I always look forward to going and my body feels amazing. All the trainers are awesome and so helpful. Can’t say enough great things! 🙏🏼
G Strength is the best!!! I started because I wanted to slim down for my wedding, but I had no idea how strong I would feel as a result. Dan is an AMAZING coach, always pushing us to improve without advancing too quickly or unsafely. I also love the community it's given me!!! Highly highly recommend G Strength and Dan!!

This place is incredible. When I started going at the beginning of June, I’d never been to a gym before - now, I go three times a week because of G-Strength. It did wonders for my confidence and health, both mentally and physically. The coaches, especially Daniel and Giancarlo, are super friendly, helpful, and amazing. The 6-person classes give a sense of community, while allowing the coaches to help people individually. They made sure I was making progress every class, and always encouraging me to work harder, with huge results. When I first started, I could barely do a 45lb trap bar deadlift - but by the end of the summer, I’d deadlifted 210lbs on the trap bar! This is a great place for anyone looking to get into the gym, or looking for a new gym.
Great gym with a small class atmosphere. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and always available to make suggestions. Close community with the people that regularly attend! Hands down the best gym experience in the City for new lifter or experienced!

Gian is the best trainer I've had the pleasure of working with. I was looking for a trainer that would understood who I was and acknowledge where I was at in the phase of working out. He totally kicks my ass each workout session but it's so worth it. He's funny, encouraging and each time I leave feel better. I feel like I've accomplished so much since started working out with Gian. So proud of him and his new gym. The classes are great, beyond reasonable prices and he focus on each individual the same as though it was one-on-one trainer. He's definitely one of the best in Philly and I'm so glad to have found him. His personality also makes him a great trainer. Thank Gian!
I am not a gym person. I had never lifted weights. I hate working out. But now I rearrange my schedule to get my 3 sessions in each week at G-Strength. There is so much to love about this place. The coaching staff is so supportive. Daniel got me through those critical weeks where everything hurt, helping to make modifications when I couldn't master the exercise, and always encouraging me when I felt defeated. Signing up with Gian and G-Strength has been one of the best decisions for me.
A few years ago I had a snowboarding injury that left me with two broken wrists. While I have been able to gain most of my mobility back, I’ve still been limited on what I can do in the gym. The team at G-Strength has been extremely helpful, giving me tips and modifications that keep me safe and pain-free while working out. The small group training is the perfect amount of attention and motivation I need. It might feel like an "intimidating" gym setting but the trainers are so welcoming and friendly! I’m really happy I found a place like this in the city.
I joined G-Strength in November 2021 and I absolutely love it. I go to the Queen Village location. I have been a runner for 10+ years and have run marathons but I did no strength training, wasn’t flexible and had no upper body strength. A friend told me about G-Strength and I am so glad she did. The vibe is friendly, supportive and not intimidating. You can show up as a novice (me) and never feel embarrassed…they will work with you and help you get stronger at your pace. I am getting stronger week by week and feeling very proud that I am finally investing in getting stronger and healthier. I primarily go to Daniel’s morning classes and he is so great! Chloe is great too!
I’ve been going to G-Strength (Queen Village) since October 2021. I moved to Philly that summer and was looking for a (physical) gym that would provide something similar to the kettlebell strength training I’d been doing for a few years. G-Strength was the closest to what I wanted in terms of strength training and conditioning. We’ve mostly been working with barbells and dumbbells which works just as well. I've had chronic knee pain for a while now and I've noticed a HUGE difference in pain level if I go to classes regularly.
The small group personal training model was new for me too and it’s proved to be very clever! The classes are intimate enough that the instructors can provide personal feedback and tips but autonomous enough that it never feels like someone is hovering. The training programs are also switched up about every six weeks which makes the classes fun, refreshing and challenging. Everyone in the class really pushes and cheers each other on.
I have taken classes with Tyler and Chloe and they have both been spectacular particularly when it comes to modifying and teaching form. There are also a lot of class times to choose from but if you need a more popular time, it’s always good to book early. Giancarlo, the owner, is incredibly accessible and empathetic. He knows all the students by name and clearly loves his job.
The only thing about G-Strength that confused me was the pricing model. It’s not written anywhere (but I haven’t looked that hard) and It’s a bit pricey. However, for someone who needs the discipline, accountability and social aspect of a boutique gym, G-Strength is worth it.
Great place to train. My son started training there about a year ago. As a parent I was nervous about him starting a weight training program. The staff has been great. They monitor closely, teach proper technique, and ensure safety. My son has shown great progress and enjoys the great atmosphere created by the G Strength team.
G-Strength is by far the best gym experience I’ve ever had! The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and meet you where you are — I had relatively little strength training experience before joining and have been taught safe and sound fundamentals, while also being encouraged to do more than I thought I could. If you are looking for a serious program in an unpretentious and inclusive setting, this is the place for you!
G strength is a really really good gym. All of the coaches are really nice and will let you know if your form is incorrect. I also enjoy the atmosphere here at G strength. A lot of friendly people.
G-strength is such a fun and motivating environment to workout at. The trainers are knowledgable and they will guide you through every step of the way. They've also done such a great job defining workout routines for all levels. Excited to keep working on my goals at this gym! 10/10 recommend
I had such a rewarding experience going to G strength every week! It’s a very inclusive environment and they work with you where you’re at without judgement. They make sure your form and muscle engagement is correct and you’re not overdoing it or injuring yourself, but they also push you to go beyond your comfort zone and increase your weight when needed.
After about a year of lifting on my own, I hit a wall. I wasn’t seeing progress and was losing motivation. I came to g-strength where they immediately found problems with my form, and helped me correct them! I’ve only been going for a few months, but I’m getting stronger! Great vibes!

I joined G-Strength after moving to Philadelphia a few months ago, and I really can’t recommend it enough! The trainers are wonderful — very personable, encouraging, and dedicated to helping you push your limits. They go the extra mile to take into consideration any past injuries and to help you improve your technique and form. You’ll also be impressed by what a supportive atmosphere the owners build at the gym.
I cannot say enough about how awesome G-Strength is. When I was considering joining I felt intimidated. Like, strength training and lifting was maybe not for me. But at the same time I was sick of the traditional gym format. I scheduled an evaluation to check it out and was so impressed that I joined on the spot and loved it ever since. The trainers are fantastic. They are engaged and give you the encouragement you need to do your best. Even if you can’t figure out the barbell weight math, they swoop in and make it perfect, haha, it happens. The workouts are strategic and never more than you can handle, yet the trainers are right there to instruct you to make it more challenging if you need. So the customization is perfect. All levels of experience and strength building are present at each session, which in my opinion, helps motivate you while keeping it grounded and real. Honestly, the best gym ever.
I cannot say enough good things about G-Strength. The quality of training is a thousand times better than what you get at a typical gym. Gian is so knowledgeable and he designs the workouts so that they constantly challenge you and take you to the next level. He really knows how to help people find the best in themselves and then adapt their lifestyle to match. My habits have completely changed thanks to G-Strength and not only do I look better, but I feel motivated to show up, work hard, and have fun. Started last month with no prior strength training experience and everyone has been extremely helpful. Awesome environment with great people and coaches I couldn't recommend it enough.
Perfect gym for beginners and pros alike. Best training in Philly and beyond... Hands down. Gian and the other trainers are professional, great to work with, extremely attentive, and as nice as they come. I came in as a beginner, and got both a ton of help with form and a lot of motivational support. I was also pleasantly surprised with the concern around safety and form compared to other trainers I've worked with. The small group format really works for me, and I find most everyone in the sessions to be equally supportive and kind -- following in Gian's footsteps. Great value and a nice facility: can't ask for much more.
Love G-Strength and the staff! My 14 year old son loves working out here! Gian is very patient and understanding. He cares about your goals and will do whatever he can to make sure you achieve them. I've been attending classes for about 3 months now after hearing wonderful reviews about G-Strength from my sister-in-law and deciding to finally join. As someone who has never been a "gym" person and really someone who has never stuck with too many exercise routines for long, I can honestly say I am so glad to have become apart of this gym. The overall atmosphere of the gym is fun and all the trainers, as well as attendees, are encouraging and motivating. I never feel intimidated as one of the more novice people in the class and Gian and his staff are always patient and willing to review anything with me as many times as I need. I look forward to attending classes at G-strength and to making continued personal progress. To anyone else who considers themselves a “non-gym” person, I challenge you to give G-strength a try!

I'm new to Philly and joined G-Strength after a year out of the gym because of COVID-- this gym is great about being COVID-safe while getting in an effective workout! I also have an old injury and the trainers have been fantastic at getting me back in shape & strong safely. I love the apps they use to track your progress and appointment booking is very easy with all the time slots they have. There are folks training at all levels here and I always feel comfortable and have fun!

I’ve been working out with Gian 1-1 for a while now and highly would highly recommend Gian to anyone looking for a personal trainer. My goal was to get back into shape after not working out for a while and gaining some weight. Before I started, I had some concerns about getting injured while working out. However, it quickly became apparent that Gian is very knowledgeable and quick to adapt or change an exercise at the slightest expression of pain. I’ve worked out with other trainers in the past, but he’s by far the best trainer I’ve had, from not only a knowledge, but motivation and attention perspective as well.
The queen village location is fantastic! My son has working out 2x a week for the last 3 months. I’ve seen a difference and so has he! He loves the trainers, the workout and small class size. It’s truly a gem. I highly recommend!!
G-Strength is top level training with a personal touch. I’ve put on 20 lbs of muscle in the short two months I’ve been a member and I feel better than I ever have since I started working out years ago. I was skeptical of joining the gym again after the pandemic, but this place does a great job limiting the amount of people in the facility and making sure each person gets the most attention possible. I would highly recommend to anyone whether you’re an athlete, or a normal person looking to get in shape!
I have been going to G-Strength for a little over 2 months (8 weeks), and have seen drastically better results in these past two months, compared to the YEARS I have spent money on a gym membership. Not only have I gotten substantially stronger in terms of weights and reps, but have also seen a visible change in my muscle mass and even toning, all throughout my body. Not to mention, the staff are all extremely passionate, caring, and always accessible. The G-strength coaches have SUPER patiently taught me the fundamental and did not quit until I completely understood, and are always extremely quick to text back if I have any questions at all, even when it comes to other things such as diet and recovery. The only thing I wish I knew earlier is how kind everyone is, even other members; G-Strength has a very community-like feel, and for some reason I was under the impression that it would be scary to be in the same group as someone lifting 500 lbs, but they have established a culture that would never tolerate this. If you want to see a real, quick, and healthy improvement, this is the place to be. In 6 months, you'll have wished that you started 6 months ago.
G-Strength is so much more than a gym, it is a community. Of course, when you sign up for a gym you expect the coaches to be knowledgeable, helpful and motivating and you get all of that at G-strength. The most important thing to me is the community… my 6am coach and gym friends encourage me, push me and motivate me. If I miss a day or a week I get a text from Gian asking me if I’m okay. It is really so much more than a gym. I get to see myself getting stronger while having a great community and making sure I am held accountable.
Great small group gym with dedicated personal attention. Trainers are all very friendly, knowledgeable, motivating, and just enjoyable to work with. Workouts are consistently rotated so the program never gets stale. Great mix of welcoming people without that uncomfortable “gym nut/body builder” vibe.
I started going to G Strength 6 months ago, and in that time I have gotten so much stronger than I was ever able to get working out on my own. I had a personal trainer before joining g strength, and the quality of work outs, attention to correct form and personalized attention provided by Gian and the other coaches in small group training far surpasses the (much more expensive) personal training I had. I look forward to going to classes every week because the environment is so encouraging and fun and I am able to lift more and do more physically than I ever have been able to in my life because of the G Strength coaches. This place is the real judgement free zone and it actually gets you results.
Everything you would want when going to a gym. Each workout is carefully thought out by Gian who is a master at his craft. The environment at G-Strength is the perfect mix of motivation while also giving it a family environment. No matter if you are a beginner or have been working out your whole life, you will find value and improve your health by joining G-Strength. I'm on my 3rd month at G-Strength now and it is by far the best training experience I've ever had. I was skeptical about the group workout format at first, but you definitely get all the attention you need from the trainers and the group environment makes workouts a lot of fun. No need to be shy if it's been a while since you lifted weights, the people that workout here are by no means meatheads or gym rats, just ordinary people working to strengthen their bodies. Gian, the owner and main trainer, does a great job pushing you while also catering the workout to your needs. I came to G-Strength because I kept hitting walls with my personal workouts and giving myself minor injuries. G-Strength has helped me push past those walls and I'm lifting more than ever.
I've been going to G Strength for a little over a month now. My friend recommended it to me and I would 100% recommend it to anyone I know! Gian runs an extremely welcoming gym! As a woman, I've always been super intimidated by the heavy weight section of the gym and G Strength makes this SO accessible for anybody. The small classes also give you a sense of community and inclusion, 10/10!
I'm a former CrossFitter who has been going to G-Strength for a month. My experience has been excellent. Classes are small and the coaches are focused on proper form. I've been able to get back to basics and start building my strength back after neglecting my fitness during the lockdowns. I really can't recommend Gian and his team enough.
G-Strength is the BEST! I am an old guy, never really lifted before, and I’ve learned so much there. They motivate me to work harder and push me to do my best every workout. The best part is the approach is low key and not at all intimidating for an old guy who has never worked with weights before. Very happy at G-Strength!
I’ve attended many gyms over the years, and G-Strength stands above the rest. The staff is professional and knowledgeable, the facility is clean and contains the latest equipment, and I do not feel like “just a number” the way I do at other gyms. If you are looking for a way to set new personal strength records, I would recommend G-Strength without hesitation.
Gian is beyond knowledgeable. He has been working with my son, who just turned 13, for a few months now. After the initial physical evaluation of his goals and skills, he customized a perfect workout plan specifically for his baseball training. He focuses on strength, explosive power, form and mental goals. My son looks forward to his twice a week sessions. As someone who has been working out with a trainer for years, there is no other gym that I would recommend for someone who is serious about sports and wants to do more .
I’ve been working out with G-Strength for about 6 months. In this short time I’ve seen significant changes in my muscle tone and strength, more than I’ve been able to accomplish on my own or with other trainers. G is fantastic, if you have a specific goal, he will get you there! He’s very knowledgeable not only about physical fitness but also nutrition. Workouts are never boring, he’s always challenging you and mixing it up with different exercises to get you the most out of your workouts. Finding G-Strength was an absolute win!
I am SO glad my friend recommended this gym to me. I was stuck in a workout rut and tired of working out and not seeing results. Now, I actually enjoy working out because I’m seeing results. This gym has a ton of class availability which is crucial for my work schedule. The class size is usually small and they always have more than one coach so it truly feels like you have a personal trainer. The culture Gian has built feels like family and you’re each holding each other accountable. Do not be intimidated by the equipment...this class is for all skill levels. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to make a positive life change.
There’s not many gyms left that genuinely care as much about their clients as much as the team at G Strength does. They genuinely want each and every person to achieve their fitness goals (whatever they may be) and will work with you and motivate you through the process. G-Strength is the best possible mix of old school weight-lifting and a group fitness class. Giancarlo customizes weight amounts and work-out plans for the individual instead of following a specific regiment for everyone, which is great for people who have sustained injuries over the years. Going to classes twice a week for the past 3-4 months I've noticed dramatic changes in my overall fitness and weight. Best gym in the city.
Transitioning from being a collegiate athlete to professional. I knew I had to step up my training. After doing some research, I found G-Strength and I can say that I picked the perfect gym. The trainers push me to work harder in order to reach my goals during each session. I’ve been at G-Strength for a month and I’m already seeing results that are helping me perform better within my sport. The atmosphere is great and trainers are excellent.
My son played high school baseball and had been looking for a personal trainer that could help him build muscle and strength without injury, someone who really knew what they were talking about Giann and his crew were been amazing! My son gained muscle and more importantly, confidence, which helped him transition into college ball. I never saw someone so excited about going to the gym! G-Strength is an amazing gym. Small place with a big heart. Workouts are always great, clear, and effective. You do the workouts with a team, so that helps push you, but the coaches are always there to help you with your form, your individual goals, your injuries, etc. So it's the best of both worlds for sure. Lots of time-slots to choose from on a daily basis. Always clean. Always fun. Worth the price for sure.

I was looking for a gym like this for so long to help with my back pain, strengthen, and become stronger overall. I have always been intimidated by this type of training, mostly because I didn't have a clue what I was doing. Gian is awesome and takes into account any injuries as well as being super patient for newbies! I can't believe how wrong my form has been even for a simple squat! The smaller classes are also ideal to make sure your form is correct and taking the time with each person, which prevents any injury. I love G-strength gym and would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to get stronger, strengthen, and feel good while working with a knowledgable and fun trainer!

I love G-Strength! I've been a member for about 1.5 years and have seen amazing results from the beginning. The trainers are professional and always give great direction for improving form. After a few years of mostly self-directed training in college I'd been plateauing for a while, but after a short month of G-Strength I'm already seeing improvements in my big lifts. I joined this gym because I wanted to see how strength training would elevate my fitness program to get ready for my 50th birthday. G-Strength is a Top Organization is the Philly Area. High class operation, Gian and I go back to high school. I have had the absolute pleasure the past few months being under his training program via Virtual classes and small group training. As he Is a perfect gentlemen, along with his right hand man Ty Curtis, these guys really know what they are talking about. Over all just really solid human beings, that care about their members. I have lost over ten pounds, my body has changed, and has never felt so good in a long time due to these guys. I’m grateful and blessed to be apart of the G-Strength Family! Been working out with the guys at G-Strength for about 6 months and really love it. It is an entirely different workout experience than any other program I have ever participated in. The trainers do a ton of work to offer a comprehensive training program that is regularly adjusted to make sure nothing gets stale and the gains continue. Their commitment to their clients is unmatched. Whatever your goals are, they will do whatever they can to help you accomplish them.
Gian from G Strength has been training me for just over two years. Prior to my workouts with G Strength I was in good shape, but had been to a weight room only a handful of times. I also suffered from muscle spasms in my neck a few times a year that physical therapy, resistance band exercises, and chiropractor visits only seemed to treat temporarily. My goal with G Strength was to increase my maximum weights in key lifts and knock out my muscle spasm, all while maintaining my body weight. Mission accomplished! Due to his extensive knowledge and experience with strength training, fitness, and nutrition,Gian helped me far exceed my goals. I haven't had a neck muscle spasm in nearly two years, and my body weight is holding near my starting weight. As an added bonus I have more energy, especially on lift days. Gian was accommodating of my busy schedule and listened carefully to feedback I had about training programs along the way, frequently making changes on the fly. The G Strength program has been so effective I have signed up for another year.
G-Strength is hands down the best gym in Philly. Even though I took group sessions at the gym it still felt like private training sessions because G takes the time to focus on everyone. Each day the workout changes and rotates on a cycle which makes for ideal results for your body. I highly recommend G-Strength to anyone who is looking to get in shape the right and safe way.
I came to G-Strength because I’m looking to gain more muscle and build-up for the Military. Tyler and Savannah really push me to do my best. I was an absolute beginner and they helped me get better and better each week! Over the past couple months I’ve been attending I’m already seeing results! I just wish I found out about G-Strength much earlier!
I started with G-Strength doing online strength training classes when I was 7 1/2 months pregnant. They were able to give me modifications and were so nice about it and happy to accommodate. And did it in a way that I don't feel like it took time away from the others in the class. And the workouts were challenging without being too intense or stressful on my body. Can't wait to start back with them once I'm ready to work out again.
Gian is an incredible trainer. His tenacity is both inspiring and motivating. He truly wants nothing but the best for his clients. You can tell he gets great joy in his clients' successes. I came to Gian about a year ago, with one goal in mind: to get stronger. Now, I can't thank him enough for all the progress we have made thus far. Not only has he helped me surpass all of my expectations, but he has helped build a confidence and stamina within me that I did not know existed. What's even better is that we have fun doing it! Having always wanted to do a pull-up, I can now do three! Never being able to really squat before, I now look forward to it every week! And the best part about the whole G-strength experience is that it is genuine. He genuinely wants you to do your best and will help you get wherever it is you want to go. Gian doesn't feed into what's most popular but instead believes and promotes what is actually best for his clients. He practices what he preaches, and I am forever grateful for him and the original gym on Washington Square. But now with an even bigger and better location, the possibilities are endless! “I recommend this gym to anyone!” just doesn’t seem to do G-Strength justice. With moving around, I have belonged to a number of similar gyms but this one will always stand out. The evaluation process prior to starting a class is a key point for preventing injuries. It seems I have been squatting incorrectly for years which had been causing me back pain; Gian noticed it right away and corrected my form. I felt welcomed, supported, and challenged from the minute I walked through the doors. For someone with a rotating schedule of shift work, the flexible hours available were exactly what I needed (and often what I struggle to find in a gym of this quality.) I left every session feeling accomplished and ready to get back at it the next day. In just three months I noticed a vast improvement. Give it a try, there’s no pressure to sign up but you’ll definitely want to. So yeah... you could say “I recommend this gym to everyone.”

I've been going to G-Strength for a little over three months and have seen such a difference in my strength, flexibility, endurance, & weight loss! Gian was helpful working with my shoulder that had lost some mobility since having surgery 6 years ago. He also has an easy meal plan to help weight loss become uncomplicated & fast! It helps that Gian makes sessions fun and simple to get through, especially for a newbie to exercise like myself, by being informative and so nice. G-Strength accommodates for training with friends, as well, so my fiancé started going with me and has seen a great difference in his idea of exercise and nutrition! Welcoming environment that makes you feel comfortable no matter your fitness level. The coaches are informative and supportive. They guide you through your workouts - which are small group sessions - and make sure that your form and technique are correct, while also pushing you to your limits in a safe manner. G-Strength is not your average gym. It's also not "just a gym" which has become increasingly clear right now. When Pennsylvania required non-essential businesses to close due to COVID-19, Gian, the owner, immediately put everyone's memberships on hold. Without anyone asking. Yes, you read that correctly. At one of the most trying times for a small business owner, Gian made (what was probably) a very tough decision and put the well-being of his clients first. He then quickly transitioned the in-person small group training sessions to online Zoom workouts. He had one on one calls with every single client to discuss with the changes, to find out what home equipment we owned, and to ask if we had any questions or needed anything. Now, there are three daily options for classes - 7AM, noon, and 6PM. The team at G-Strength had to design a new program that would meet everyone's needs and allow for the lack of access to the normal equipment. Not only did they design a new program, but they also are meeting the needs of those with energetic children at home by offering a kids "workout" program at 3PM. I'm sure parents are thankful for having a short break in their day where they can work from home uninterrupted. Gian has also hosted social events both in person (before the pandemic), as well as online (happy hours and trivia nights) acknowledging that social interaction and community is extremely important to mental health, especially right now.
The focus of the programming at this gym is on improving strength thru lifting. If you are a beginner or the kind of person who avoids weights, I promise it isn't an intimidating environment. There is zero shame in starting with no weight or low weight. The focus is on the right weight for you, the one that is challenging but you can still complete the movement with proper form. Clients are all ages and all levels.
The owner, Gian, cares deeply about helping clients meet their goals if you didn't pick up on that already. The entire training staff is very attentive to making sure you are hitting your form correctly, and does a great job of offering feasible alternatives for people with varying capabilities WITHOUT removing intensity. If you are unsure about checking them out, I highly recommend at the very least trying out their intro week or right now, dropping in on one of the online classes. G-strength not only is a great workout, but it is a great community where people are truly excited, energized, and happy to be there. It is also the only workout studio I have ever been to in which people are excited to work out at 5AM and 6AM. While many other group classes also provide a good workout, G-strength is different in many ways, especially that the class sizes are small (typically 2-6 people), there are 1-2 trainers who are helping people with form and providing advice, and there is a genuine interest in making sure people have the correct form, and are pushing themselves. This training truly stands out, and is exceptional.
G is awesome. I've been working out with Gian 2-3 times/week for the past six months. I was impressed from day one how he came to my level (total beginner) and helped craft a plan around my capabilities. He listens to preferences but pushes you out of your comfort zone. I've been amazed by my physical transformation over the past few months and can't wait to continue the process with Gian!
I’ve been working out with Gian for a few months now. He is a great trainer and has an extensive amount of knowledge. Always has an answer for any problem I’m having (weak knees, sore back etc.) He always has a workout or stretch that will help. I highly recommend the group classes. I already have seen results and I feel much better than I did before. Looking forward to seeing my results after hitting a year at Gstength.
I am in my Third week of training at G strength. I would tell anyone to go! The trainers teach & craft the work out to your skill level. I have not lifted weights in 15 years. I’ve had great results, better then what I was doing before and feel so much stronger in such a short amount of time! 5stars!

I completed the Balanced Habits eating program through G-Strength. This program sparked my enthusiasm because I didn't have to cut out any food group, I just learned how to eat in moderation and at the right times. The program along with weekly meetings with Gian made it easy stay on track and achieve my goals. As the weight came off my workouts improved which made the experience even better. I even was able to lose weight on a two week vacation! I strongly recommend this program and plan to continue this as it is easily adaptable to sustain in every day life.
Had a great experience here. I love working out at this gym. It’s clean, the equipment is awesome, and most importantly the vibe encourages you to push yourself and makes it easy to have a good, productive workout. As someone new to personal training and regimented workouts, this place is a perfect fit. It's an extremely welcoming environment with friendly staff, top notch equipment, and a great training plan. They take COVID19 precautions seriously, therefore allowing patrons to continue with their physical fitness plans while protecting themselves during a pandemic. Each trainer has their owner personal style, which allows for variety at each session. Great music playlists too!
Gian is incredibly knowledgeable as a trainer, and runs his business with amazing professionalism, accountability, and obvious passion. Regardless of fitness level/experience, his small-group training sessions are a great way to either learn or brush up on proper technique, with personalized attention where you need it. I am currently playing baseball for Temple University and a former student-athlete at the William Penn Charter School. I had a problem with my shoulder and lower back so I needed a one-on-one experience with a trainer. I was referred to Gian and decided to give him a try. I was so impressed by his skill and knowledge that I was driven to come every single week! Gian worked hard to make sure that I had a great program to compliment my back and shoulder injuries. He made my bench press, squat, and deadlift numbers so much better than the first week and the results of it all were amazing! My shoulder feels better and same with my lower back! I could not have asked for a better way to spend my baseball off-season! Thank you for teaching me all that you did! I remember when G strength just started out and Now he has his own gym. When I first started with G I was having back problems and always felt tired during and after my basketball games. Within the first month both problems were gone. He showed me proper technique which lead to the massive change and me feeling better. G also gave me a small diet plan to help with me getting back in shape. It was so simple and easy to follow and works no matter your body type or weight. I lost over 10lbs within the first 2 months with working out with G. He is very perfessional and consistent with his training. He finds out what your goals are and caters the workouts towards them. He is easy to work with and knows what is best for you. By far the best trainer to have in your corner!
This place is a hidden gem! It has been hard getting back into a workout routine since Covid, but G-Strengh makes it easier! Hard workouts, knowledgeable coaches, and overall relaxed environment make it a great place to train!

I live in Connecticut, but was still able to do G-Strength's home workouts. They are fantastic, with instructional videos and more than enough variety to make sure things never get stale. I saw results, and would recommend G-Strength to anybody looking to better their body and mind!

It also isn’t like other gyms where you’re just thrown into a workout or don’t have a trainer period. Every session pushes you to the be the best you can be and nothing less. When I say I started from the bottom of knowing how to work out I am not exaggerating.. I couldn't even body weight squat. Gian took his time with me, showed me the basics, and now 4 months later I am shocked at what I can do during our workouts and I actually have fun! He will motivate you because he too wants to see you succeed and get results.
My 16 year old son has been training at G Strength since April and his strength has increased substantially. He plays baseball and since he started training his exit velocity and throwing velocity have increased 5 mph. His physique is noticeably leaner and muscular since his training began.

A great trainer, I struggled lifting heavier weights but after I came to Giancarlo he got me to lift weights regularly and ever since then I've been steadly increasing my weights. Would recommend to anyone trying to get fit.

Joining G-Strength was easily the best decision of 2022. At the time, I didn't really know what strength training entailed, but I knew I needed a fitness option that would get me in better shape and keep me interested. Nine months later, I'm in the best shape of my life!
It's a great environment if you're new to fitness classes - the small class size, personal attention from the trainers, and welcoming atmosphere made it easy to transition from no exercise routine to going to class three days a week. I particularly appreciate Giancarlo and Dan's focus on correct form, which has helped me take on greater challenges week after week. They've done a lot to create an inclusive, positive environment, and have built a friendly, supportive community. Highly recommended!
