Queen City is wonderful! They offer a wide variety of classes at different times throughout the day and week. I’ve been to each one at least once and have never been disappointed. The staff are all so welcoming and knowledgeable, not to mention the super cute clothing/gear they sell. Definitely recommend!

Very inviting and great atmosphere. They inform you of how each class works and what to expect. This was my first experience at taking this type of class and was very happy at the results! The first time my shoulders and neck were pain free. I highly recommend trying all their classes to see which one works best for you.

I think this is by far the best workout studio in Burlington area. The business model is top notch. They couple amazingly attentive teachers with really challenging and rewarding exercises. My favorite classes are HIIT+ and Abs of Boom!! I feel like QCY has given me the support I need to take my fitness to the next level. Plus, the heated classes make you feel so great. No one else is doing this. You need to come by!

A friend introduced me to yoga and specifically Queen City Yoga two years ago this month. It was life changing and I am forever grateful! I have been an athlete all my life and was a bit skeptical, but I fell in love. The addition of Pilates at the studio has been such a nice compliment, but yoga has my true heart. I will say the combo has given me my butt back : ) Every single teacher is phenomenal in energy, instruction and warmth. The studio is functionally perfect, fun, inviting and affirming. Just go!

Queen City Yoga is my home away from home, and I LOVE it here! QCY is a hidden gem in Burlington and I can confidently say it’s one of the best studios in the area. When I signed up for my first inferno hot pilates class, I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into, and thought about canceling and going home- two month later I’m taking 2-3 IHP classes a week! Each instructor has their own way of welcoming you and making you feel like you’re a part of the QCY community from day one. No matter what your experience level is, there’s never any judgement or expectations for what you bring to your mat each class. I’m a newbie to the practice and have only felt comfortable and supported by all. Yes, it can be cramped. Yes, the Tuesday evening IHP class will be packed. But that’s the fun! Finally, in addition to all the other aspects, the staff/teachers here are AMAZING! They are always kind and helpful and flexible, and this makes a subtle but HUGE impact on my experience. Marla and Deshawn have truly done a fantastic job in making this one of the best Yoga studios in the area and I highly recommend you check Queen City Yoga out and join the ROYAL FAMILY!

The thought of working out in a hot room and getting super sweaty was unappealing and terrified me but I decided to give Queen City a try after some friends could not praise this studio enough. My first IHP class was hard as hell but I found out that I actually enjoyed sweating it out with awesome and supportive people by my side. I have grown to love the instructors and the classes have become my escape. I feel so great after every class. Marla likes to tell her classes that their goal is to help as many people as possible. Thank you Marla because we can feel that warmth and attitude in every class we take!

Queen City Yoga makes yoga and pilates very fun! I enjoy the energy level in this space because it motivates you to push yourself and do your best. This is a very supportive and welcoming studio with incredibly knowledgable instructors. The owner Marla is great at engaging with students and providing helpful feedback about alignment and form. The studio itself is really cool looking inside too, and kept very clean.

Anxiety (my main reason for starting) has affected my daily life and would at most times keep me from these experiences. I moved here after traveling and teaching yoga for over a handful of years. I've been able to see and experience a plethora of hot and not-hot yoga studios, as well as, interact with staff. I have found my home here in this yoga studio and community because of the cleanliness, presence of each staff member including desk help and cleaners that are engaging and exuberant, and the overall attentiveness to details including monthly activities such as healthy habits and team building competitions, emailed posture tips about alignment, and adding plants, defusers, and popsicles to make the environment therapeutic and fun. It certainly is a one-of-a-kind business and yoga community, and you are welcome to try it out for yourself. If there were more stars, I'd give it so.

I started coming to class after a back injury three years ago. This was/is the only form of exercise that does not aggravate that injury. All of the instructors are wonderful. The studio offers a wide array of classes. Most importantly, the classes are offered at various times during the day. I recommend to anyone and everyone.

I don’t usually write reviews but Queen City Yoga warrants one. I have always been active and have tried (and regularly attended) most types of popular workouts over the years (I.e. cross fit, boot camp, spin, step, weight lifting, barre, pilates, TRX, etc). While I have always managed to get a good workout, I never *really* enjoyed my workouts. They were just more of a means to a healthier end. And then I got injured. A dear friend had been raving about Queen City, and had recently started to take their relatively new Inferno Hot Pilates classes. I was intrigued and decided to try it. I didn’t have high expectations as I had taken Bikram before and have never felt especially comfortable in yoga studios. But I figured the heat would do my injury a bit of good, perhaps they would let me modify...and if nothing else, I would have a nice visit with my friend after class. :) I took my first hot Pilates class and knew it was for me. It was hot, very high intensity and low impact on my (aging) joints. And that core work! It was just what I needed. In a matter of two months, I have become stronger than I have been in ages, leaner than I have been since having children, and my endurance is at an all time high. My skin (and my head!) is clearer, I sleep better, and I feel accomplished after every class because I worked really hard yet I never dread going to class because it is FUN. (There is music! And lights! :)) But more importantly, it is the first time in a very long time that I have noticed that I don’t focus so much on how I look but how I feel. I feel healthy, strong and capable...and that is quite empowering! And as wonderful as all of this is, the BEST part of Queen City is the people. Which is surprising to say the least, as a yoga studio has never really been my comfort zone. Marla, the owner, is GENUINELY kind and helpful. I am blown away how she has been able to organically create such a feeling of inclusivity among so many different (and exceptional!) people. I never feel judged. I never feel like I have to apologize for anything. I always feel comfortable being me. Ideally, this should be the norm, but realistically, it’s not. And I truly enjoy all of the people who go there. I don’t use the word ‘community’ lightly...but it is just that. I often shy away from ‘community’ because I have associated it with a certain sense of obligation and pressure. QCY isn’t like that. It’s more of a ‘come as you are’ and let’s have some fun and support one another. A Cheers—just in a studio rather than at a bar. :) Every time I enter QCY to sign in, they stop and say hello to me. Every. Single. Time. ALL of teachers are authentic, approachable, relatable and consistent. They celebrate with us, don’t take themselves too seriously and keep it real. And it is the people part that makes QCY extraordinary. And they have popsicles! :) Try it. Seriously. You will be SO glad you did.

I can’t possibly express enough gratitude for the crew at QCY and all that they do. Practicing at this studio has literally been life changing. I’m stronger physically and mentally and I am seeing real results. The overall vibe is immaculate and I feel right at home when I’m in class with any of the phenomenal instructors who teach here. I’ve been practicing at this studio for the past 3 years, and it has been such a blessing. The teachers are kind and very engaged in the yoga practice, pilates, and alignment. There are many workshops, educational offerings and support in addition to the classes offered. The studio is new and offers a HVAC system which can effectively control heat and humidity, there are antimicrobial floors to practice on, ‘happy lights’ which give vitamin D, kombucha is always on top, and there is FREE childcare Saturday mornings. It really can’t get any better! It’s my dream studio.

We just moved here and my girlfriend found this place and it’s pretty awesome. I’ve been to a few Bikram classes around the country but I’m not a yogi by any standards:) Just had my first Bikram class and Mindy the instructor was terrific! She brought a welcoming excitement with great positivity. Seriously great class that kicked my butt.

Queen City Yoga, and its queen Marla, and All the instructors, are there to cure what ails you. QCY offers a variety of three different yoga series all of which integrate with each other to support and build upon each other. I can only handle the Bikram method so far but others love the Hot Pilates class while others enjoy the 26+. The studio is newly built and the instructors are top notch. I was in Marla’s class this morning and while i have been doing the Bikram practice for a lot of years now (off and on), today i picked up three - 1,2,3! - new details all of which help immensely - thank you Marla! A couple of classes ago there was another eye opening body adjustment - thank you Alex. There is always something new to work on and build upon, and all the instructors devotion to that end is ever present. I am so grateful for all i learn, release, and gain in there. I go to hot pilates Class. I do hard physical labor for a living and I found muscles that I didn't even know I had. The exercises have greatly improved my back and knees. I can kneel with out pain! Great for creating muscular balance and core strength.
