Reviews of B/SPOKE Downtown Boston

After visiting over 2 dozen spin studios around the US, I can pretty confidently say this is the best spin class in the whole country. I’ve been coming back for years and will make sure I pop in ever time I’m in Boston.
The instructors are super high energy, the playlist are FIRE and the bathroom products are very high quality. Honestly I would come back just to discover new music. They also don’t charge extra for shoes. What more could you want?

I have taken only 2 classes with Justin & Marissa and both have been fantastic! I had so much fun, and got in a great workout. Both of them were so helpful as I am new to spin, very excited to keep coming back

This place is the best spin studio in Boston and it even won awards for it too. I lost over 25 pounds in six months going here. The staff is super friendly and get to know your name. They go above and beyond to help you out. The instructors are just amazing and motivating. I've been doing spin off and on for years at 3 other places and this is by far the best studio I've ever been to by a long shot. The bikes are great, free shoes, towel service, sparkling clean locker rooms with everything you need in it. The music is loud and bumping and keeps you going to the best. I can't say enough great things about this place so I'll stop now. Just go and you won't be disappointed and you will get in shape.

B/SPOKE is a really great indoor cycling facility. I took advantage of the Gilt City new member promotion that gave you 4 classes for $59. My instructor Molly was really inspiring, had a really great voice, and was good at giving me the beat that I should be cycling on. I was thoroughly distracted from the fact that I was working out, which is awesome. The facility is right off of Downtown Crossing and seems to be in a relatively business district; perfect for people who are trying to work out before or after work. The locker room and bathroom spaces are small and can be overcrowded during peak hours, but the staff are incredibly nice and helpful.

I was in Boston for a business trip and B/SPOKE was recommended to me as an effective, early morning workout. I have visited several different cycle studios in New York, so I was interested to check it out. I was beyond impressed, not only with the facility which provided Aesop soap (heaven) and two vanity bars to get ready for work, but also with the staff & other riders. Everyone was super helpful and welcoming, I got the impression that most of the riders frequent there regularly, but I didn't have a feeling of being an outsider. I was greeted promptly, given a quick tour and thoroughly set up on the bike. Before starting, the instructor Ali even double checked that I had weights I was comfortable using for the arm section --> thank you! The class was fantastic: music, build up and focus on total body workout (which I often find is lacking) were on point! I left refreshed and energized & felt like I had a really solid workout before a day of meetings. I will absolutely be returning during future trips; thanks for making my first experience a great one!

Love B/SPOKE cycling classes! They are super fun and definitely a great workout! I left the class drenched in sweat and my Fitbit registered over 600 calories burned! Great music and great atmosphere! Will be coming back!

Amazing studio! I'm a cycling instructor from out of state and attended Kelly's hip hop ride while visiting. Super fun playlist and challenging and accessible ride structure. Really nice ride room and locker room as well. Went to soulcycle first and wishing I would have gone to B/SPOKE instead! Seems like a great community and had a really warm, welcoming vibe. Hoping to get in one more ride before we leave. LOVED IT!

I love B/Spoke. Location is key for me and the studio is steps away from South Station and closest to my work, which makes it more than convenient to hop on a spin bike before or after a long work day. The studio has 4 showers for the ladies, which is of key importance. Great instructors, superb music choices and you will definitely break a sweat while having fun.

B/Spoke is the best spin class in town--FOR REALZ (they were voted Best of Boston 2015, so you don't even have to take my word for it!) The environment is pretty chill on the outside, but as soon as they close that door it's time to get to work. The instructors are challenging, but super fun They encourage you to push yourself while your ride to the rhythm of the music. Before you know it, your 45 minute class will be over and you'll be wishing you signed up for their 60 minute class because of how much fun you just had.

Not only does this studio have the best instructors in the city with the best playlists and the most helpful staff, but it somehow manages to always smell like the cleanest slice of heaven ever, DESPITE hosting a swarm of sweaty riders at any given time. The studio is also BEAUTIFULLY designed- minimalist touches that allow for maximum optimization of the space. I have been going to b/spoke regularly since they opened and have yet to have a less than stellar experience. The class sequences are well thought out and challenging. The desk staff is very professional and efficient. The owners have a strong presence in the studio, are very approachable, and do a great job cultivating and being inclusive of their community. Morning and evening classes are especially convenient if you work or live downtown, and the weekend classes are easily accessible as the area is quiet on those days. I would recommend this studio for any rider despite experience or skill level.

I can't recommend this studio enough! I live in London and whenever I come home to Boston I arrange my schedule so I can make it to B/SPOKE. The instructors know their stuff, have really really great playlists and it's clear they take their jobs seriously while having an absolute blast at the same time. Aly is my absolute favorite- you just can't beat her class. Not to mention the actual space is beautiful and you have all the essentials you need in the changing room and showers. GO!

U have never done a cycling class like this. I was working at Metro Meeting Centers and took this class the morning before a conference. The class with Chelsea was AMAZING and I want more! Also, the amenities in the ladies restroom were incredible. What an experience!

Move over SoulCycle... this is definitely the best Premium indoor cycling studio in the greater Boston area. It’s locally owned and operated but is so on key with merchandise and branding that it feels like it is a chain. They have another location in Wellesley that also has a training studio for off the bike workouts.

B/Spoke is the only place I would consider indoor cycling in Boston. High intensity, high energy, and high quality with fantastic instructors that keep you challenged, excited, and - most importantly when it comes to fitness - coming back for more!
Rebecca Churt
This studio is amazing. The instructors rock! Their bathrooms are clean. The music is the best. A combination that makes this all around the best spin class studio in Boston.
Katherine Randall
My favorite spin class gym in the city. Instructors and staff are the right mix of encouraging, friendly, and will push you to your goals
Cara Shorey
Love this place! The classes keep you focused and work your entire body. When you're done, they have everything you need to clean up too!
Carmen Chan
Favorite spin studio. Instructors with the best playlists. Intimate spin room with cool lights.
