Good parking, clean facility, not very busy on a Saturday around noon maybe two dozen people. A larger then the other one in Boise Idaho. Surprising for such a large facility it only has two fans for circulation compared to smaller facilities that do have three or four. The ceiling here is painted black which we find in about 50% of the planet Fitness facilities across the United States. The ones that have white painted ceilings make all the difference, there's much less lighting and it's a brighter atmosphere inside, helps with the utility bills of course.

I've been to several gyms over my adulthood, and this is by far the best. It has the absolute best equipment and multiple machines. There is never a shortage of space, and the atmosphere is awesome! They sport a Judgment Free Zone which is spot on. They have an ISSA certified fitness trainer for free! Big shout out to Mercedes and all of the staff who keep the place so clean and friendly. We love it there! The prices cannot be beat. For all this gym offers, I'd expect to pay more. I'm so impressed! Absolutely five stars!

Here's what I would like. How about not only waving your enrollment fee but also waiving the annual fee when you initially start up. I don't mind paying the monthly fee and 'then' continue the annual fee next year. So many businesses seem to be out for money. Why not catch us a break. You're going to make a lot of money in the long run anyways. I'm just saying.. you'll make the money you desire through the true desire to give them an initial break with money.

I love my planet fitness!!!! I love the convenient location and they're open 24/7, except for major holidays and even then they are only closed for a short amount of time so I can get right back to working out!!! The staff here are friendly and willing to help me with my fitness goals!!! I love the televisions!!!! They go all the way across the cardio type machines so I can watch while I sweat and doing that actually makes the time go by pretty quickly!! I did ten more minutes than I intended to one time because I got interested in a show that I'd never seen before. Bring your headphones so you can plug them in and you can choose your channel so you can listen while you work out. That's for the cardio machines!!! I love how clean the whole gym is!! There are lockers out front and in both bathrooms. Speaking of the bathrooms, they're so clean and huge!!! There are showers and a huge dressing area, so you could come right from work or head out without being sweaty from your gym time!!! I really enjoy being a black card member that gets me into the tanning area or the massage chairs!!!! It's such a great benefit that I enjoy very much!! I feel like I get a whole lot for my money at planet fitness! You should come in and talk to one of the staff members about getting your own membership!!!!

I’m conflicted. On the one hand I enjoy coming here early in the morning. I think it went under new changes with either management or new employees but the girl with long brown hair and glasses I come in with a smile to her (6:30am) today and she doesn’t move her mouth or even look at me. She looked like she got up with a bad attitude and I don’t know what I did. I waited for her to greet me back at least with a smile from this employee and all I got was a cold turn the other way. Is she new here because I’ve never seen her. Is it because I had a motorcycle helmet? Tell me what I did wrong and I’ll fix it but any employee I’ve talked or run into has never treated me with a cold behavior and that is just a toxic attitude. I won’t come here at 6:30 in the morning if she is gonna keep this up when I come in to work out. I mean it’s not necessary, really. Smile. It’s a good day!😁 I thought I could change her pouty mood with a smile. Nothing more I can do if she won’t greet a customer. Just keep standing there mopey. Your doing great!

Black card membership is a great deal. 24.99 for all clubs, tanning booths and beds, hydro massage and regular massage chairs and red light therapy booth. You can get trainer consult, haven't done that yet. Clean, mask policy when moving around, not when ur on machines

Previous reviews spoke of an unfriendly staff. I’m a new member three weeks - talked with 4 different staff. All friendly, helpful (as a new employee could be, in one case), and sincere. Nice change from Seattle private club. Sure, less exclusive, but more “real” and comfortable. Clean, well maintained, courtesy from visitors and staff alike. Unless you want specialized (cross-fit focused) or intensive personal, this is your place.

The rating is really a 3.5, and not meant to discourage new/future members, but hopefully shakes up several employees that were hired to pull their weight and EARN their wage and make this PF a place to look forward to visiting. I've been going to gyms for more than 40 yrs; this is my 2nd go round as a Black card member with PF. Large facility, several sections of equipment and spacing is good; house music a bit loud for those trying to listen to their own, machines are clean, but 2 of 4 paper towel machines in weight lifting area were empty on this afternoon, although 4 staff were behind or near the front desk, 🙄. Unfortunately staffing everywhere is an issue in our current culture, it's no different at PF. To many lazy employees standing around chatting, (never part of one's job description) when they should help the few (actually only 2) staff that keep busy cleaning up after members use the tanning or massage areas. Some members must figure it's not their job to clean after themselves, especially in the mens locker room sink area. I will be posting photos if it's not changed by my next visit.

I feel like my biggest gripe right now is the random switch back to closing sat and sun. It actually almost made me switch gyms. Aside from that this gym is pretty clean and tbh the staff always seems super friendly. They always remember my partner and I (probably cuz we are there 5 days a week) but still. Some of the really low reviews left here are laughable at best. Complaining about mask mandates or "hidden charges" because they can't read or follow rules. Anyway it's a cool place with some cool people.

Great facility! Lots of equipment and a fair amount of amenities. The locker rooms are quite large and the women's locker has 5 showers, which is nice! The staff is cheery and the place is always clean. This place does request mask use while not working out, but a lot of their patrons don't follow that unfortunately, there are a lot of people walking around without masks viewing TVs. Overall, a nice gym and if you're worried about the pandemic, I recommend going during their slower times, which the staff will let you know when that is upon request.

A great place for beginners, a nice cheap alternative to other more expensive gyms. Only major grievance is the switch from 24/7 to 24/5, I used to look forward to going to the gym after a long day at work on the weekends but now since they close at 7 on the weekends I cant go on the weekends anymore

Very clean. Probably more from the members than the staff, as the only guy I saw was watching YouTube videos about guitars. But the locker rooms are super clean too, and that's definitely from staff. Showers aren't covered in mildew like other gyms in the valley. Can't say about the tanning rooms or hydromassage chairs, as that's for the Black Members. 🤔 Oh, and their app is super helpful. It shows you how crowded the gym is, in case you want to stay home until it clears out a bit. It's actually very accurate. Not to mention it will walk you through how to do the exercises at the machines or stations.

Ive been going to this gym everyday for the last 3 months and i love it! The weekday AM staff makes my day. They are so nice and always greet me with a smile. Especially the guy with the cool mustache he is always staying busy and making sure the gym is clean! They all deserve raises!

Tonight Was my first time Going to the gym and it was the best experience ever and im so glad I chose this PF. Shout out to Deanna at the front desk for being so helpful and explaining things to me. Great equipment! Great amentities with the black card! Will continue coming back during the week! Highly recommend.

Planet Fitness offers every aspect of training that I require to maintain my desired level of training. I have been a member for many years. While traveling to other areas of the country I have used Planet Fitness gyms while away form my home town. This amenity is included in the membership fee. The Milwaukee facility in central Boise is absolutely and extremely clean. The staff very friendly and always helpful. The fee to be a Black Member is very reasonable to maintain membership through out the year even though I use only 4 - 6 months. The Milwaukee facility is spacious and makes me feel very safe to use even though we are in CoVid conditions. The facility also has many alternative equipment for upper body and recumbent designed equipment for individuals with physical limitations. I appreciate this gym very much! I highly recommend membership.

Very friendly location! If you're looking for a gym that won't judge you, this is the place to go! Their policy of a judge free zone is strict, and most people will help you get to know all the equipment and how to use them. So don't be shy to ask how to use everything properly.

This is my 9th planet fitness i have visited this year of 2020. and some of them have been in sketchy areas with questionable equipment. But I have to say this particular Franchise ranks high on the list of gyms I enjoy to go. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive. Its located in a great part of this city next to malls and plenty of other shopping spots so it makes the parking lot very well lit up so you feel safe going from your car inside the gym and visa versa. The equipment is very well maintained and the staff frequently comes by to sanitize. Oh did i mention that the staff takes on the obligation of cleaning the tanning beds and black card spa areas!! Thats a huge perk and takes the responsibility of cleaning the tanning beds and booths off of me!!

Love love this gym! I go in the morning, and it's never too busy - I'm able to use any of the machines I want without having to wait. All of the weight machines are spaced out, so it's easy to social distance, and half of the cardio machines are blocked off. The locker rooms are huge and very clean, I loved being able to shower before going to work in pre-covid times. I also love the free trainer option - Rachel is a great resource in helping you meet your fitness goals! I live closer to the Orchard location, but I happily drive the extra 5 minutes to go to Milwaukee instead. As a bigger girl, I never feel intimidated or insecure going here, and I am so so thankful for that!

Planet Fitness has been my favorite gym I've ever gone to. It's super affordable and never overly crowded, but still has all the necessary gym equipment I want. There are gyms closer to my house but I make the extra drive because I love this gym so much!

Just started back in the gym, and have had great communication with the staff from the start. Josh took the time to answer all my questions while showing me all the amenities. He politely excused himself to assist another member while I waited for the mobile app to download, and then walked me through the app features. Afterword, he introduced me to gym trainer Rachel, and she explained her role and programs available at this location. While at the gym, I have noticed staff continually wiping down stations and equipment for members protection. Boise does have Covid masking orders in place, and the staff at this location ask that each member mask up in common areas while not actively working out. They have also placed some equipment out of use to help with social distancing requirements. So far, my experience with the PF staff and members has been positive at this location.

Always under staffed. Can no longer recommend this location. They only care about getting new members not taking care of current ones. I would recommend finding a different gym. Updated: I am updating this review and changing my rating because there are a couple of staff members that do an exceptional job.

Excellent staff, super clean and well kept facility, nice clean showers, and never super busy! I only wish they had a dedicated squat rack, but smith machines are OK and get the job done. Don't forget -- every single member has access to classes with the trainer (Shaun) and can ask him any questions they may have. He's great!

Incredible new facility. Design is very impressive. The lockers have USB ports for charging your devices while you workout. The variety of machines will leave you in awe. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful.

I like going to a place where I can wo and not be judged and ppl are friendly as well the staff. You can watch ppl do their certain exercises and they don't get upset. Only thing missing are the trainers. They don't follow up once you get going when they say they will.
