My husband and I have started going to classes here within the past couple of months. We have enjoyed every second of it! I have played sports most of my life and am very active. My husband has less of an active lifestyle and background, yet we are both able to get in an effective and fitness level appropriate workout within 45 minutes! We have worked with Glenn and Holly so far and they are always there to make sure we are using proper form to maximize our efforts and prevent injury. The classes build a sense of community that beats working out by yourself in a large gym chain. We love “Owning It!” each time we go and look forward to many more sweats there! I highly recommend Kvell to anyone looking to start or advance their fitness journey!

I joined Kvell Fitness because I wanted to finally invest in myself and my overall health. Everyone at the gym is very friendly and the workout groups become a mini community of support. I have had them create specific strength training to help with some long term back and hip problems and having targeted focus has produced noticeable results that will be beneficial now and in the future. I would highly recommend Kvell Fitness to anyone that wants to get into a great workout routine and meet some amazing trainers, in particular Andrew Fletcher.

I've said it before, these guys deserve 6 stars, best gym and workout experience I have ever had. I had been a Kvell member for six years, and since Covid started I spent two years doing many of the exercises I learned at Kvell in my "home gym"(garage). It feels so good to be back in the gym, being coached, feeling motivated by fellow members and coaches, meeting people, seeing and feeling immediate results. Hands down, great experience!!!

A great local gym in the Boise area featuring group fitness and personal training. Andrew + Glenn we’re both very welcoming from the moment I walked in—there is a strong sense of community and loyalty. Workouts are 45 minutes, the first 20 minutes include foam rolling and stretching, the back half includes cardio and strength, with programming that rotates every 3 weeks. A great location for a quick workout to get you moving, and a welcoming environment.

I’ve joined your typical gym before with a treadmill, bike, elliptical, along with free weights and machines. It last about 3 weeks for me. I had drove and walked by Kvell for a couple of months. It was different in the sense we’re working out in a group and there are free weights but no treadmill, bikes, or machines. I was so out of shape and no history of exercising. My first day I was exhausted after the warm up. Numerous members encouraged me to keep coming. I have. I’m still exhausted when I leave, but it is better. I’m 68 years old with two new knees. I have improved my overall condition significantly, and actually have quads and calf’s. My posture is significantly improved. I go four times a week. I started at three times then increased because I enjoy it. There are a lot of very fit people and people like me on the other end of the spectrum. People are friendly and supportive. Instructors are helpful and encouraging. Go and commit to a month, it gets better and is fun once you get going. Just get going.

I have been coming to Kvell for at least four years at least. It's probably the only thing in my life that doesn't change. I took time off to deal with some health issues but felt like I was missing something. They helped me get back into the swing of things when I came back. After a month, I felt I had found exactly what I was missing. I consider the team family. The trainers know what they are doing. They help you make safe adjustments when needed and they know when to give you that little push.

I love Kvell. I've been going for over 6 months and my fitness has increased drastically. I am in the best pre-ski season shape of my life and my bike season was so much better this year than ever before. I appreciate that the workouts change constantly and align with upcoming seasons. The coaches are great as well; extremely supportive and work to ensure efficient workouts with good form. The fact that they encourage good technique and body position over "lifting heavy" reinforces that they are working for long-term success and avoiding injury. I appreciate the accountability that a group workout session provides, so these workouts have been a great fit for me. And the fact that the class is 45 minutes and fits into my lunch break makes it less of an obstacle for me to get a great workout in on a regular basis.

I've been a member at other places and usually wound up hurting myself because I was trying to keep up with serious athletes. I'm not athletic, but I really enjoy the Kvell workouts. The warm up is thorough, and the trainers are roaming the floor at all times to instruct and monitor your form. Glen also helps to keep me focused on which exercise I should be doing rather than, well, let's just say that my mind tends to wander. Overall, Kvell is a great place to condition your body, build strength, and prepare for the upcoming rigorous gardening season! Thanks to all of the trainers. Kvell is the place to be! I just recently joined in the past few weeks and am so impressed with how accessible it is to work out here! I am someone who has always dreaded working out. I decided to try out Kvell, and am so happy I did! I want to build healthy work out habits now instead of waiting until it's too late, and this is the place to do it! The team at Kvell is all types of people and bodies- I never feel like I have to compete with others outside of my fitness realm. The level system of tailoring workouts to where you are at in your fitness goals is key to feeling like you can really do the moves. The workouts are 45 minutes- you can do anything for 45 minutes! I appreciate the coaching that happens when I am working to make sure I am doing the moves right and not going to put anything in motion to hurt myself. The coaches also know when to push you to make gains in a way that is positive and encouraging. The scheduling process is easy to sign up for classes. Things are very socially distanced in class as well. I am excited to keep up the intensity at Kvell!

He's very smart and professional, and makes working out fun! He customizes each person's plan to their specific goals and limitations. I have been going to Kvell for about a month now and I legit couldn't be happier. My personal trainer, Nik, is amazing. He makes me feel comfortable yet still challenges me to give it my all. Nik is super knowledgeable and genuinely wants to see me succeed. He teaches me HOW to best train so that I can be self reliant in my activity. The environment is always inviting and empowering. They ultimately want you to be successful. The varied class times allow me to either go before work, at lunch, or after. I have 4 kids, a full-time time demanding job, and a spouse. Finding time to invest in me is super hard. I am seeing a big change in my body already. I'm stronger and leaner. Not only do you get bang for your buck in the 45 min total body group classes, but they offer incentives for just showing up. On top of rebates for attendance, they do random prizes like massages, facials, cash + charitable donation match, etc. All the staff are friendly, encouraging, and provide the positive accountability that keeps you on track. No matter your current fitness level, Kvell has the ability to meet you where you are and help you build on that. I will be encouraging anyone who is ready to transform their bodies and minds to give Kvell a try. I don't leave many reviews so know that I mean every word of this review.

I've been working with Nik, Kvell’s personal trainer, and can’t speak highly enough of him. Nik the best! I'm a runner working through some injuries (post-PT) and Nik has helped me so much. He is careful to tailor my workouts to what I really need/want and provides corrections/information so that I get the most out of it. I have definitely increased my strength but I’ve also learned so much. I would recommend working with Nik to anyone!

I’m a 54 year old woman and started Kvell 8 months ago, going twice a week. The workouts are relatively short and make everyone (regardless of fitness level) feel included and comfortable. Total judgement free zone!!! What I’ve noticed over the last 8 months is a complete change in my muscle tone. What I mean by that is not that I’ve “bulked up” but things that used to not be firm are now firm. I have arm muscles again! Ive slowly increased the weights and level of difficulty (optional for all). My balance has gotten a lot better too which is something I’ve always struggled with. My husband and I make this into date night a couple of nights a week. Shout out to the trainers! They are great at what they do. I highly recommend Kvell!!!!

One my favorite aspects of Kvell is the coaching. Brett and all the coaches constantly circulate, monitor everyone's form and suggest corrections as necessary. They also sometimes suggest a higher or lower weight so we get the most benefit from the workout. I have limited motion in one shoulder from a skiing accident and the coaches accomodate the limitation with different exercises. I also enjoy the varied workout routines to keep things fresh. Everyone is friendly and supportive and sometimes there are a lot of laughs. I've been going there for a while and I've noticed they always greet new people and help them integrate into the program. Sometimes the newbie is even paired with an experienced person which helps the newbie learn the routines faster. I've tried other places but Kvell is by far the best.

Just before I learned about Kvell, I realized that, for fitness, the most important thing for me is to be strong. I’m hoping that being strong will enable me to fully participate in life and everything else will follow. Most fitness regimens worked for me in the past but, at 50, I seemed to have lost my response to quick dieting and sticktoitiveness. The employees at Kvell are supportive and everyone is super friendly. Classes are 45 minutes and roughly divided into a 15 minute warmup and 30 minutes of workout. This time allocation is quite doable, fun and feels great. Kvell suits all levels and adapts for injury. The defining point for me, is that I keep going back. Kvell is unique to Boise and a true gem, try it. Took a break during Covid and started back up with the personal coaching Kvell sessions, which are awesome! I have an individualized program and Nik makes sure I'm using the right form, which gives me a good foundation as my strength training progresses. Nik is great at explaining while offering encouragement and I’m loving it and staying motivated. I was hesitant to pay more for the personal sessions, but I look at it as an investment in a healthy retirement, plus it’s making me feel great now. You’re worth it too, and as I said above, try it!

Great coaches, fast results and a workout is great for anyone - from beginner to seasoned athlete, there are levels built within each movement to ensure everyone is having an experience that works best for them. Coaches are also great to help members make adjustments to their movements to avoid injury and to get the most out of the workout. Lastly, I sincerely appreciate Kvell pivoting during this never-ending pandemic by creating classes for vaccinated members that require masks. I felt my concerns were heard and I feel very safe in the gym every time I go in.

Stop searching and just go. There are a million gyms and trainers out there, figuring out which one is exhausting. You've stumbled upon a gem. I checked out Kvell and i'm hooked. It's friendly, fun, engaging and as hard as you want to make it. It's coach-led group training (unless you're doing personal stuff). You're always grouped with people so you what what to do and where to go, that's super nice. You're not just standing there confused, you're working and sweating. I've done 3 workouts so far, and I have had a trainer form-check me and give me tips on every single movement so far. Super nice and helpful. You have an app that you schedule through and I feel it makes you accountable, because you're not "in the system." The hardest part of any workout is getting off the couch. So seriously, give it a try, everyone is super supportive, zero attitude, zero judging and there to work while having fun and suffering in a good way.

Glenn has been great! I drag my sorry tail in there three times a week, and he's always upbeat. He REALLY knows his forms, and constantly helps you to do your best work for the best results. I have not worked out in many years, but I am still going, so that says a lot about how great they are! It's super quick (only 45 minutes in and out), and you really feel in all muscles groups that it's working. If you haven't had any success being motivated at box gyms, this is the place for you!

I was looking for a new gym to join. Kvell is different from an ordinary "treadmill" gym. Their programs are well rounded workouts. Strength, flexibility, balance and cardio all wrapped into one. It's so much fun!! Andrew is wonderful. He listens to what you want to achieve and puts together a personal work out plan. In addition Kvell offers a nutrition program. There are a ton of class options so it’s really easy to find one that works for my across the board schedule. I like the flow of the work outs and I feel like the way they format the work outs is more sustainable for body longevity then CrossFit.

I absolutely love this gym! Its an amazing sense of community and everyone is so positive and helpful. I did the group classes along with personal training and loved both. Andrew, the personal trainer is amazing and all of the coaches are very good at helping accommodate any special needs or preferences. The one downside I would say is that there aren't a ton of class times if you work longer hours(i.e. no 5 am class everyday), but still enough that you can go a few times a week. Overall I would definitely recommend giving it a try! I travel a lot for work and loved it enough that I am doing a virtual subscription to be able to workout with them at my next job site!

KVELL is great! I really enjoy the workouts and love that I can get full-body resistance training in a 45 minute class 2 or 3 times a week. I think Brett really understands what movements are important to increase strength and reduce injuries. While at 72 I’m very much an outlier among the Kvell clientele, I still enjoy these effective and efficient workouts, offered at different levels of ability, to build strength and lower my percentage of body fat. Since the pandemic, I’ve taken advantage of their great online workouts. While I miss the music and camaraderie of the in-person classes and the enthusiastic trainers, I’m grateful to have a safe way to continue my fitness regimen. Getting exercise is never easy. I joined Kvell several months ago with a friend I found it to be the best investment I’ve ever made in myself in a long time. Kvell makes it easy to schedule classes and there are plenty of them. Kvell is the best! I’ve been a member since 2014 and nothing can beat the staff, the workout, the members, and the total experience! I took a hiatus from the gym during peak pandemic times, but kept up the workouts from home thanks to the awesome flexibility and creativity of the owner. I returned last year and I AM SO GLAD TO BE BACK!!! The facility is super clean and the community feel of the workouts is motivating and inspiring! I love Kvell!

In the last 11 years I’ve worked for / worked out in a lot of different fitness facilities in Boise - Kvell know what they’re doing. They have every portion of their program dialed in. For me - a 45 minute class is optimal. The coaches are clearly knowledgeable and they actively show they care / believe in the program. The day I attended my second class it was a coach I hadn’t met the prior visit - he greeted me by name. Meaning he had actively reviewed the class roster and saw my photo. That’s huge. That goes beyond customer service. I’m on my second week and I continue to be impressed / look forward to classes.

Great gym! Awesome individualized training! I was looking for semi-private lessons to avoid large gym crowds. Kvell had exactly what I was looking for! The gym is spotless and the trainer’s focus on form and individual progress is motivating and effective! Highly recommended either for group classes, or for those like me looking for something smaller, semi-private lessons. The Kvell total body workout method is outstanding!

Relatively new to the Boise area and have been looking for a gym where they offer strength training and cardio in a class setting. Very happy to have found Kvell Fitness. I had an initial consultation with Andrew and that was helpful to see if this would be a good fit for me. Since then I have been going regularly and the instructors (Andrew, Glen, Holly) and classes are awesome . Good variety of strength training exercises, help from instructors on technique, friendly and good work out environment. Definitely one of the best parts of my day is getting the 45 minute workout in at Kvell.

Kvell has been a great find for me. There is excellent focus on injury prevention and stretching, which has sidelined my training in the past. I also like the fact that there are no MIRRORS in the gym, so there are no distractions. It's very easy for me to just focus on what I'm doing, and not be self conscious about the surroundings. Value-wise, I think the pricing is affordable to a 40+ crowd, and there are pricing incentives for showing up x times a month. So if you are consistently going, you pay less. Parking is easy and the scheduled workouts work well for both mornings and late afternoons. Finally, the trainers are really nice people and DON'T push supplements or other add-ons, which is refreshing. I really appreciate the opportunity to workout at Kvell and the personal attention I'm able to get, and I'm starting to actually think I might be able to get back in shape someday!

I was a bit hesitant to join due to the group setting, after having lifted weights on my own and done at-home workout programs. There is a difference between being busy and effective. I’ve had success working out on my own, but I love how the structure of Kvell takes any guesswork out of it. It’s set up well to accommodate all types of fitness levels and allows you to progress the right way with whatever your goals are. I’m a 34 year old male and I really enjoy the well-rounded, timed workouts/rest periods. The class times are flexible, and I love working out my entire body multiple times a week instead of alternating muscle groups. Also, the more you workout, the less the membership costs. You can ease in or jump in with both feet, either way, this is a great place to workout!

Ending my 3rd week of one of Kvell's challenges and it has been one of the better decisions I have made for my health. I recommend giving Kvell a try no matter what shape your in! I love that they accommodate the exercises to the level that you can do when you 1st start out, or if you have an injury to avoid further problems. I love the 45 min classes from 5 am to the evenings. I also really like that you go and do what you can without feeling like others are watching and judging you because everyone is busy doing their own best! Overall I have felt better then I have in a long time with Kvell's help on nutrition as well. Definitely check them out!

This is the best gym I've gone to. If you want to work different muscle groups every day, have a great environment, see results, and be responsible for your own journey. This is the place. Yes, you will be sore for some of the workouts. But they change things up daily and keep it interesting. At the beginning my form was terrible for most workouts. Brett, Glenn, and other trainers have helped me with this, and helped me to become a better me too. Without sounding and being disingenuous, this is honestly the best gym outline I've experienced. If used correctly you can change yourself immensely. I have and do advise all of my friends to join this journey.

I am getting a much more focused workout and most importantly a lot of help with form. The workout is tailored to my level of fitness and is a full body workout. The KVELL trainers are great with first timers. I was a little nervous before my first group training session but I didn't need to be. You are made to feel very welcome, every exercise is explained in detail, there are multiple options depending on your fitness/experience level and you get a great all-body workout in such a short time. I have been exercising, but never felt fit, nor did I get the experience I was looking for from other gyms/studios. I’ve been going to KVell consistently for 3 weeks now and I think every muscle in my body has been sore, but In the way you want it. The trainers are friendly and share feedback directly and with no judgement. The members are also welcoming! I was looking a personal training experience but in a group setting. I was also looking for a program that incorporated strength training movements along with HIIT sprinkled in. Kvell hit all of these marks. They have 3 different movement options for each exercise so you can scale your workout up or down depending on what you need. Kvell is great. I am a pretty active person who swims and plays soccer but I was a complete newcomer to working out in a "gym" environment. Everyone has made me feel really welcome and has been super helpful with teaching me the proper way to do the various movements and exercises. Prior to Kvell I was struggling getting back into a workout routine and was not self motivated the way I have been in the past. It has been a long road back from an illness and some injuries that had seen my physical health decline drastically. After a period of intensive physical therapy and rehabilitation, the next phase was to regain stength and functional mobility. After a fairly intensive search and in consultation with my physical therapist, I decided to go with Kvell Fitness. I havent regretted that decision for a minute. The first thing that made a lasting impression was the amount of assessment that went into developing a specific plan for my individual short and long terms objectives, and taking into account my current physical limitations, as well as a roadmap to working towards overcoming them. The work that has been laid out for me is challenging, but its achievable. And I receive direct coaching and encouragement from my trainer, who has done a great job adapting on the fly to mechanical limitations. I love Kvell! I have been to many fitness classes and gyms and Kvell seems very special. They really care about fitness and really want their clients to actually attend the workout classes. In order to facilitate good attendance, Kvell offers rebate to those clients that show up at least certain times a week- what a great way to motivate folks! The exercise plan varies day to day and accommodates all fitness levels... the gym is very clean too. My only call out is regarding the number of classes offered- this could be due to covid- but there are very limited classes offered on certain days, e.g. Tuesday and Thursday there are only 2 morning classes. Overall, I love getting my workout here!!

Kvell is really quite great. I was hesitant to attend any type of group fitness class, but the atmosphere and staff of Kvell assuaged my hesitations. The coaches are kind and encouraging, and they really know their stuff. I started my fitness journey at the end of March/beginning of April of this year (2021). I searched online through various programs, and decided to try Kvell. They have an amazing option, 21 days for $1. Trust me, bypass the dollar menu and choose the 21 days. It's COMPLETLEY worth it!. I'm taking it a day at a time, and I selected to continue on this journey after my first 21 days expired. I'm someone who hasn't worked out regularly for over 20 years. I don't have healthy eating habits. All of this is changing slowly, and I feel myself caring more and more each day about these healthy disciplines. I had strong reservations about joining a group of people, but have found nothing but support from the trainers and other clients. A warm hello goes a long way. :) I'm not feeling the aches and pains in my joints that I was experiencing before starting Kvell. I've gained a few pounds of weight but feel stronger and more agile. I know that as I continue to make more and more consistent healthy choices, that I am going to continue to look and feel much better! I moved to Boise recently and was looking for a new gym. A few guys at my office raved about Kvell. I love classes and group fitness so I was excited to try it out. Both Glenn and Brett have been great instructors. The class sizes are not too small and not too big. The variety of the workouts is great, you're never doing the same thing two days in a row. And I love that classes are a quick 45 minutes but you still get a hard, full body workout. It's easy to pop in on days where you don't have a ton of time to dedicate to your sweat sesh. You can even opt-in to receive daily emails from Kvell that motivate you with fitness and nutrition ideas. Kvell will definitely motivate you to meet your goals!

I stay pretty active with various activities, but have been wanting to incorporate more strength based training into my routine. I’ve found it challenging to do so at my usual gym due to the limited availability of the group weight lifting classes and the intimidation of using weights on my own. Kvell has been amazing! When I first started working out at Kvell I had some unusual restrictions due to health challenges I had been dealing with. I had also become quite weak due to too many months of partial bed rest/movement restrictions. The trainers have all been amazing to work with. They have been great at working with the restrictions my doctors had given me and helped me adjust the workouts to meet me where I was while still pushing me just enough to help me improve. I was never a person who enjoyed going to the gym but Kvell has changed that for me. I actually miss it when I can't be there. I've come a long way through the classes/trainers help. I've finally progressed to be able to do a plank on the floor instead of against the wall (that's where I was when I started at Kvell). I just completed a six week challenge and have seen some amazing changes in my mental state as well as in my body. My overall health has greatly improved over the past six weeks and I'm looking forward to my next challenge. If you are looking for something to help you become a stronger and healthier you I can't recommend these guys highly enough! They are professional, helpful, motivating, encouraging and just all around awesome! The people you will be working out with are awesome as well! I love the Kvell community. While many friends were beginning the loss of the gym when covid shut everything down Bret and team were working hard to adapt and keep us going. Yes being in the gym is ideal but they wanted to continue helping us to stay healthy and they quickly adapted and have continued to provide a great way to work out from home along with in the gym now that they are back open. I have been going to Kvell since January 2019 and have loved it. I wanted to start working out but the typical gym atmosphere was intimidating, so when I found Kvell it was just what I was hoping for. You have a personal trainer for your group at every session and they teach proper form, motivate and take the time to know everyone’s name. They have different levels of workouts depending on your fitness level. It’s a group atmosphere and only 45 minutes, which you can sign up for online. It’s a great workout with some awesome trainers. Although the classes are groups, the trainers at Kvell are great about going around observing individuals form and making suggestions ensuring you're doing the workout safely and correct to get the most benefits. Update 1 year later - I initially did a challenge at Kvell a year ago, loved the classes, but got busy with other things and decided I didn't have time to go. Well, here I am a year later and I'm so glad to be back and have realized almost anyone should be able to make time for themselves for a 45 minute class a few times a week. I've been back for a couple months and feel stronger and more fit than I've ever been. I like that Brett and the other trainers see that I'm capable of more than I think I am and push me to do more. Kvell is different, I mean when I say that. It’s not a boot camp or any other group exercise classes. It is almost like having a personal trainer and getting motivated by working out in a group. The results I'm having are also far greater than what I was expecting from a few 45 minute workouts a week. All things considered, I don't think there is any other gym that can offer both the atmosphere and the results that Kvell does. Definitely check this place out!

When I planned to spend August in Boise, I decided to use the time to practice good habits. I contacted KVELL, and I hit the jackpot by being teamed with Andrew Fletcher. From the movement assessment to our now completed 6 sessions (of 10), Andrew has motivated me to work harder than I ever have. In the past, workouts this intense would leave me sore and barely able to walk, but Andrew has some kind of magical workout b/c I am walking well and have more energy. I am 65 and overweight, yet Andrew has devised workouts to increase my balance, flexibility, and strength. He is able to break down the movements, indicating which muscles I should feel and how to best balance my weight. He corrects my form to ensure full benefit of the exercise while maintaining an upbeat, positive and fun atmosphere. Andrew is in top notch shape so I recommend him as a trainer to all, from my remedial level all the way to graduate level fitness!

This gym is absolutely amazing. It’s as close as you can get to personal training, but without the high cost. I started out at 18% body fat percentage and went down to 16% within a few weeks. I took a week off and went back up to 18%, it really works! I play sports and do a fair amount of outdoor activities, but Kvell is a perfect cross training to help me perform better in my other hobbies and prevent injury. My shoulder used to get really sore from playing tennis, but now my strength has been built to keep me going without soreness. My favorite part about Kvell is how quickly you get a killer workout in. OWN IT. I've been going to Kvell for 10 months. I honestly thought when I joined that I would workout for a couple of months, then lose interest. Or that I wouldn't like it. Or that it would be too hard. It IS hard, but only as hard as I'm ready for at each workout. The coaches know my name and greet me every time I show up, which really makes me feel like a member of the Kvell community. There's no guilt trip for missing days, just support to get back on track and positive attitude from other Kvellians. There are options for each exercise tailored for novice gym-goers and more challenging versions for experienced members - no one will find it too easy or boring! Coaches offer helpful tips on technique and encouragement to "up the weight" if I'm not looking challenged enough. I show up, I do the day's workout, and I'm done in under an hour. I am healthier now than I have been in ten years, and I have Brett and Kvell to thank for that. It's absolutely worth it!

Today I accompanied my daughter ( who is a new member) for an awesome workout at Kvell. I was completely impressed with the entire setup. The class was professionally supervised by Glen and Brett, who guided the our class in reps of core exercises. Though I consider myself (58yrs) in good shape by being an avid mountain and trail hiker, I have to admit this class kicked my butt in a good way. The class setting may seem intimidating at first, but by the end of your workout you feel like you're part of a team and I look forward to working out with the regulars that attend the classes I go to. The idea of a gym has never been appealing to me, so what I really appreciate about Kvell is that my body and mind get challenged more than in any other workout I've done, AND I don't have to be in a space that feels like a gym, with equipment that doesn't feel empowering to use. I tried Kvell after hearing about the format from a friend. I was super out of shape and very nervous about going to a new gym and worried if I’d even make it through the workout. What I like most about Kvell is not having to plan my workouts. I achieve a intense full-body workout in under and hour. Upon arrival, a good warmup is included, along with detailed instructions on the exercises for the day. The gyms are extremely clean and well maintained. The thing I enjoy most are the ever changing workouts. Just reading the description of the workouts I felt overwhelmed but honestly these are easy to understand and follow. You work at your pace (not waiting on anyone to finish so you can use equipment) and the coaches are awesome at keeping tabs on everyone. They challenge you when you need it, guide and help you perfect your form, and encourage you when you’re struggling to finish the last sets. Most gyms advertise that, but this gym truly lived it (gym isn’t even the correct word for this place- it’s so much better). Brett’s passion is palpable as are his colleagues. I love Kvell! I used to lift weights 3x a week at a small, private, office-based gym and that was OK. Used their cardio equipment 2x a week when I couldn’t get out on the trails. I love the intensity of the workouts that I get in less time than I was spending working out on my own. I've never liked gym workouts, opting for outdoor activities instead. But when I needed something to supplement my cycling I decided to give Kvell a try. I still wouldn't go back to a typical gym but I'm loving Kvell. The difference is efficient, well designed group workouts. In 45 minutes I can get an excellent all-body workout with a great group of people without the hype, pressure and other undesirable trappings of many gyms. Brett is an excellent trainer, able to keep even my uncoordinated body using proper technique to maximize effectiveness and minimize risk of injury. It's a low-pressure environment except that the program, Brett, and the other members encourage you to always strive for personal improvement. It's about perfect.

I have been going to Kvell for right at a month. I moved back to Boise and was looking for a gym/bootcamp that provided coaching and a team environment and I wasn't interested in doing cross fit. I looked at couple of other gyms and what really sold me on Kvell was the structure and cadence of the workouts, along with the hands-on coaching that the coaches provide during the workout. I had never done foam rolling before and Kvell emphasizes it as a key part of recovery. It's helped me in my recovery - and in turn - my overall performance. In addition to the foam rolling, we also do stretching every day as part of the scheduled time. As obvious as it seems, other gyms I have been to don't emphasize stretching the way they do at Kvell and I can tell it's already helping with my flexibility and athleticism. Beyond the foam rolling and stretching we then do 30 minutes of circuit training which mostly includes using body weight, dumb bells and kettle bells. I have only been going to Kvell for a month but I'm sold. Alyssa got me set up and has been great about checking in with me and making sure I'm on track. Glenn and Brett are the coaches during the time that I attend and they are both great. I feel like my form has gotten much better in a short time and it's because of their hands-on approach and encouragement. I would highly recommend Kvell to any friend or family member. If you're worried about whether or not you're a fit for Kvell, you are. The workouts that we do are and can be modified easily. There is a great mix of men and women of different ages and fitness levels. Come join the fam!

Love love love this place! I've never really been what you could call "fit". Seriously, even a basic body-weight squat has been a challenge. I've tried many other gyms in the area but couldn't get into a routine on my own. I figured I needed something a bit more guided, so I went on the hunt for something akin to group classes. I stumbled upon Kvell and almost didn't join because of the price (at least 3x any other gym I've been to!), and the location is a bit out of my way, but I decided to give their very generous 21 days for $1 promotion a try. I knew by day 3 that I was hooked. The classes are structured in a way that the coaches can help guide form, answer questions, and provide modifications if needed. Everyone (including other members) are super friendly and easy to talk to. I love how the classes change every 3 weeks, and aren't just cardio-cardio-cardio all the time. The foam rolling at the beginning of each session is always AMAZINGLY relaxing. Plus, there are people of all skill levels there, so I never feel intimidated (but I do often feel motivated -- Brett makes the higher-level stuff look so easy that I like to think one day it'll be easier for me too!). So far this has been the most consistent workout routine I've engaged in. I actually look forward to going. IMO the price is 100% worth it because I'm actually using and seeing results from the program, which is more than I can say for any of the other gyms I've tried.

I have gone through phases of being in very good shape and not. I am at a low point in my fitness and I needed help jump starting me back on track. I love that I can show up and the entire workout is planned for me. About 3 months ago, I heard an advertisement on the radio for a gym called Kvell that specialized in strengthening not only muscles, but also tendons and ligaments in order to prevent injury. I have battled injuries from basic day to day tasks for years, so my interest was piqued. Then the radio ad said I could try Kvell for 21 days for $1. I knew if anyone offered use of their gym for 21 days for only $1, they must have a winning product, so I thought I would give it a try. My experience with Kvell has been so positive. The owner, Brett, really wants people to be successful. Every workout is customized for optimal strength training and calorie burn. His staff knows me personally. They know my health challenges, and work hard to assure that I can perform the moves safely, or else they provide an optional move for me. In fact, soon after joining Kvell I had shoulder surgery. The Kvell staff encouraged me to return to Kvell as soon as I could after surgery. I was there just a few days after surgery, and they helped me find exercises that I could do even with my limitations. At my follow up visit, my surgeon was amazed at how quickly I was recovering. I gave Kvell all the credit. Brett also has an amazing nutritionist that is so knowledgeable and sweet! Since going to Kvell, my work outs and nutritional practices have set me up for success in reaching my goals. And even though my monthly payment is more than it would be at Axiom or other typical gyms, it is worth every penny. It is completely apparent that Brett puts so much time and effort into helping each member reach their fitness goals. In fact, he actually refunds part of your gym membership fees dependent upon how many times you come to class. I’ve also participated in the nutritional challenges Kvell offers. During these challenges you learn healthy nutritional habits. And you learn to be accountable for your choices. I won the very first challenge I did! I lost 10.5 inches and 9 lbs of fat in 6 weeks. I initially hesitated joining Kvell because of the monthly cost compared to a "general" gym membership. Nearly 4 years later, I have no regrets about the investment. The classes are hard and short (read: doable! You CAN get through them!) and offered at times that I can get there. When visiting family in Boise, I didn’t want to lose my workout momentum, so did a search of the gyms in the area. Kvell Fitness was highest on my list to check out. I didn’t want a formal CrossFit Box or a standard gym with cardio and weight equipment, instead I wanted a workout that focused on HIIT, Tabata, and Kettlebells. After dropping in and talking with a trainer, it felt like I found the right place. I was able to get quickly oriented and I returned later that day to work out. Kvell Fitness didn’t disappoint! A friend inspired me to try Kvell because she has had great success with the program. I have always had a gym membership but have not been very good about consistency and only run on a treadmill or used an elliptical...it would be fair to say that I was incredibly nervous to go somewhere new- not know what I was doing, look ridiculous, etc- complete gym intimidation. Kvell has been fantastic for me- it is 45 minutes with numerous times which is a big factor in my attendance success, they have options for all fitness levels (from an amateur like me to an athlete that has been at it for years), it is an incredible work out- difficult, definitely- BUT, that is why I go- to change my body and strength, and Brett is great at helping a newbie like me learn how to do the basic things I've never done (since I've only done cardio in the past).They have challenges they offer frequently, and for those looking to see big results, I would highly recommend trying one. Being a part of Kvell was a great move for my wife and I. The workouts compliment our active lifestyles and prepare us for running, skiing, cycling and all the other things we do. The workouts are under an hour and can be customized in intensity based on your individual fitness level or modified due to injury. It's the first gym that my wife and I can workout in the same class, at the same time and get a workout that is appropriate for both of us. Kvell is the best gym in town. I've be an active member for a year, and just talked my husband into joining too! The trainers are awesome, and extremely knowledgeable. They care about their clients and want to keep you uninjured and motivated to achieve your goals. If for some reason you can't do an exercise they have ways to help you get the same results doing an exercise you can do. In the past I have not enjoyed going to organized classes but this is something completely different, there is no competition or trying to out do someone else everyone is there for support and you are doing what you are capable of. I have belonged to many gyms over the years and this truly is the best gym I have ever belonged to.

Joining Kvell raised my fitness to a new level – in only 6 months. My personal fitness plan was stalled for years and I was reluctant to shell out the $’s for a gym but not see results. Kvell overcame that barrier with the “bring a friend” program and I saw how I could work hard in only a 45 minute session with a bunch of other like-minded people. I signed up and go to sessions 3 or 4 times per week with the result of increased strength, flexibility and a personal commitment to monitor my diet resulting in a 15 lb. loss over 6 months. The sessions are a sequence of intense exercises which are rarely in the same order making for variety and never boring. The focus is on resistance training and core strength with weights, resistance bands, etc. but I also learned some fun sounding exercises such as the “break dancer” and “renegade rows” which really work the core muscle groups. Never a dull workout. I see that people are NOT excluded due to their fitness level with 1, 2, and 3 levels of fitness for each exercise. Fitness level 1 is for those who are new to working out, or have lapsed in their fitness, and I can see they feel very much included – especially when Brett, or other coaches, spend time with them. Level 2 (where I am) and 3 simply apply more resistance/weight/difficulty to each set of exercises. I think this is a great concept because so often people don’t work out because they are out of shape and get intimidated by the super fit people at the gym. That is NOT the case at Kvell. I really like the workout session availability and set my own schedule to mesh with my work and personal schedule. For example this week for me it’s Monday 4pm, Wed 9am, Thurs noon and Fri noon – all to fit into my crazy work schedule. Plus, signing up for a session is so simple using the Kvell app on my iPhone. Highly recommend Kvell for people who want to get in shape and are tight on time.

The workouts have great variety and are adaptable to all strength and flexibility levels. Such a relief from my prior self-directed gym or home exercises. Kvell isn't a normal gym! This is a training program designed to challenge every person from all different fitness perspectives. I love the High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T) classes. Being a “typical” gym meathead for the last 20 years, I was skeptical on how good of a workout I could get at KVELL. I wanted a change from my normal routine and tried their 21 days for a dollar trial. I am glad I did! KVELL is a great place to get a good solid workout in 45 minutes. (Guaranteed 45 minutes every day) The trainers are always watching and making sure that you are using the proper technique. They are also very good at keeping you honest and making sure that you don’t slack on your workout. (Esp the ones named Glenn ) :) If you are looking for a good solid workout and don’t have a lot of time, you should definitely try Kvell.

I've had a long history with Kvell. I took a four year break and after dealing with back issues for several years I decided it was time to get back to the gym. Kvell was where I chose to go. The workouts are designed to make you stronger and not waste your time. Brett is constantly walking around making sure proper form (very important for people like me with back issues) and he helps you find a modification if you find that a certain move doesn't work. The workouts change every three weeks so your body is constantly challenged by new movements. I rarely give anything 5 stars but Kvell is the real deal.

I started going to Kvell back in 2013, although it was called Fitness Revolution at that time. I have experienced the evolution of Brett's gym over the years from Fitness Revolution to "The Lab", now Kvell. These changes are more than just re-branding. They are a representation of Brett's commitment to the improvement of his fitness methodology, not his profit margin. There are cheaper options out there, but unlike most gyms that thrive on large membership numbers and low-participation, Brett has created an environment of motivation and accountability. He wants you to show up. He wants you to succeed. The fact that classes are scheduled mitigates the mindset of "oh, I'll just show up whenever" - which often results in not showing up at all. The social aspect of the gym is unmatched - you will make friends who struggle with you, challenge you, and celebrate with you at the end of each workout. I have tried several big box gyms, like Planet Fitness, Axiom, YMCA, etc. This is the only gym that I have attended consistently and achieved a fitness level that I can be proud of. I am constantly motivated to improve and keep showing up. If you want to be stronger and healthier - this is the place to make it happen.

I started going to Kvell just over a year ago with one idea in mind which was to get as fit as possible before I went in for a hernia operation. Brett and the rest of the coaches were great to work with especially as things kept getting worse. I finally had the surgery and I credit the work that I did at Kvell and their help in getting me back up an to full strength in 2 weeks as opposed to the 4 plus that was mentioned to by the doctors. I have continued on after that and it is great since it is never really the same workout twice, they tailor everything to being short and intense but not boring. Would highly recommend them to anyone at any fitness stage.

I've been training at Kvell Fitness for a little over 1 month, and am very pleased with my experience so far. Each workout can be tailored for different levels of fitness, from beginner to elite, and the trainers are constantly moving around the gym, checking for proper form and encouraging you to dig a little deeper and give a little more. The workouts last about 45 minutes, from beginning to end, and start promptly on the hour. The first 7 minutes of the workout are spent doing foam rolling, followed by a warmup and explanation of the workout, and then the workout itself. The monthly membership includes unlimited classes and body scans - I find the body scans particularly helpful because the trainers help you learn to read it, and you can see a breakdown of your body composition (body fat, water weight, lean muscle mass) so you can really get an idea of what you need to work on (drinking more water, eating more protein, decreasing body fat percentage). There are numerous classes offered during the day, starting as early as 5am, so there are no excuses not to get your workout in!

I joined Kvell about a month ago and it's been great! I love that its a little different from regular gyms, varying workouts but not needing a lot of specialized uquipment. They maximize the routines, giving you a full workout in only 45 min. It's a super efficient way to bust out a workout - even if you're always feeling rushed on time! (like me!) Listen, I hardly ever take the time to write reviews. However, as I have gained so much from my short time at Kvell, I thought I would provide some thoughts on my personal experience. I hope that anyone considering taking the Kvellian leap (or squat) will find it useful. I have been attending Kvell since early February 2019 when I took the 21 day trial after being brought by a friend. I was struggling mentally with personal issues and numerous attempts over the years at getting back into a normal routine of physical activity typically floundered after a week or two. Finding motivation to get to a gym and actually push myself while at the gym were difficult for me. I was in a rut. The most immediate benefit after a few sessions was a profound improvement on mood and outlook. I knew exercise was supposed to help the mind but I did not realize how important it was. I also learned how weak I actually was and over the few months I have been attending, I have seen big improvements in my strength, stamina, and endurance. Kvell exercises are in a group setting, which for me has been a new, but more effective and enjoyable fitness experience. Sharing sweat, pain, and encouragement builds camaraderie and there is a sense of community at the gym. This is further fostered by periodic opportunities to exercise for charity, participate in group and individual performance-based challenges, group hikes, and even a Spartan team. It appears that there have been a lot of friendships formed while Kvelling. There is a common message of achieving not just fitness goals, but lessons for success at anything you do. The most basic description of the program would be that we cycle through a new 3-week set of exercises or “Phase” planned out by the Kvell staff. Together they result in a total body workout. Week one, the “recovery” week, we learn the exercises and proper form. There is a different routine every day of the week. Weeks 2-3 follow the same routine but increase in intensity and duration. Each individual exercise can be modified for difficulty. There is no room for boredom or slacking with this format. There is no judgement amongst members and it is a very positive environment. A coach will walk through the room providing encouragement and helping people with posture and technique. (Still working on keeping my back straight!) The coaches (Brett, Glenn, & Alyssa) are great teachers and awesome people and I have been amazed at their ability to remember the names of all the Kvellians. Kvell is not the cheapest gym membership around but there are financial incentives for attendance, which is a great motivator. Speaking from experience, I have easily spent more on gym memberships that I wasn’t using regularly. Conversely, attending is now one of the highlights of my day and I am bummed when I don’t get my Kvell on. There are other benefits to Kvell which I have not yet taken advantage of: group/individual challenges, nutrition and diet information, routine 3-D body scan analysis, and more. I realize that this is getting long, so to sum it up: Kvell has been the most unique and effective fitness/gym experience that I have tried. It has become an important part of my life and I have experienced many positive mental and physical benefits. I really can’t recommend it enough. You can give it a try with the 21-day for $1 intro, so what do you have to lose? It was certainly one of the best uses of $1 I have ever spent. Own it!

Here's the thing, kvell is expensive, but if you don't show up, I'm pretty sure a team of henchman come to your front door and drag you to class. Ok, I don't know if that happens, but it's expensive enough that I'm not going to not show up, like I did at every other gym I ever joined. The coach will welcome you by name when you walk in the door from Day 2 onward and then ask where you've been if they haven't seen you in a while just to make you feel extra shame. You are paying for accountability but also a concise workout adaptable for all skill levels, but damn some of them older folks can crush it. Also the first three weeks are like $1 so you pretty much don't have anything to lose, except $1. So go spend 45 minutes at kvell.

I have been going to Kvell for years now. I am a rediculously busy full time vet and full time mother. I live for my kvell workouts. They are everything I need and I have seen incredible results. Its the only program that I have tried including F45, crossfit, YMCA, all the other gyms that has given me consistent and exciting results. I am going into early menapause so losing weight is difficult and KVELL makes it happen. My before and after pictures are so fun to look at because I did that (with the help of KVELL). More importantly it makes you so strong and functional in the real world. Picking up kids, rushing them to school, running up stairs, climbing mountains, carrying in groceries--thats where I noticed it. Not just the abs and muscles but my ability to do everything and it all felt easy. Not into the latest fad diet or exercise program, but well researched exercise and common sense nutrition. Professional staff, very efficiently run and you always feel good when you leave (bad when you're working out:) ) and look forward to coming back for the next session. Kvell offers effective, efficient, and well-researched workout programming in a purpose-built space with excellent coaches who know you by name from Day 1. Like many people, I was struggling with working out consistently. I knew I liked working out, but I would quickly enter "analysis paralysis" when starting to think about what I should do for the hour I'd given myself at the gym. I'd put in tons of time researching, only to get to the gym and need to compete with everyone else for equipment and the smallest piece of open space to actually do the workouts I'd planned. I'd end up spending most of my hour at the gym moving equipment out of people's way, which I guess is a workout unto itself, albeit an ineffective one! Kvell is addresses all these common issues. They do all the research for you - figuring out the most effective exercises, pairings, and scheduling. The programming occurs in three-week chunks, which is enough time to get the hang of the movements without succumbing to boredom or plateaus. Coaches make sure you're doing the movement correctly to prevent injury and will push you to increase weight or difficulty once they've seen you consistently achieve at your current level. The classes are 45 minutes, exactly, including a warm-up. They limit class sizes so that there is enough equipment for everyone to do all the movements without any waiting around or mid-class reorganization. There is only one class "type" to choose from, and it is offered multiple times throughout the day to accommodate all sorts of schedules. I didn't think I was going to like Kvell as much as I have - I was used to solo, self-directed workouts where I would show up when I wanted, put on my headphones and zone out. I was nervous that group fitness was going to require I share a fun fact about myself every class (honestly, a nightmare) and that having sign-ups and set start times would feel limiting. But…the results have spoken for themselves. Where previously I might have made it to the gym once a week (or less), in the 10 weeks since starting at Kvell I’ve made it 3-5 times a week, even amidst holiday and work travel. I am genuinely sad when I can’t make it but feel all the better prepared for how to efficiently make use of my hotel gym while on the road. Out of everything, the thing I've loved best about Kvell is that unlike other gyms with similar programming or formats, you are not competing with the other people in your class. No one is recording reps on a board, timing workouts, or ranking participants. You are accountable only to yourself, which I've found to be way more effective and motivating than the more common external competition. At my old gyms, I might push beyond what was healthy on a given day to get a PR or beat someone's record. I'd end up injured or so sore I couldn't workout the next 3-4 days. Conversely, sometimes knowing that I'd be pitted against other people in the class kept me from wanting to show up for fear of not performing well. I’m sure this, along with everything else I’ve mentioned, was by design. Brett and his crew are incredibly thoughtful and intentional with every element of the programming, space, and community. If you want to get stronger or fitter, it’s hard to imagine a better place to do so than Kvell.

I've been going to Kvell for about three months now from a company sponsored challenge. Now that the challenge is over, I'm still going! These guys are fantastic. In three months I've lost 9% body fat, and about 20 lbs of fat. I feel so much better about myself and I have so much more energy every day. I sleep better, I eat better, and I really do feel better, and it's because I've been coming in to Kvell 2-3 times a week consistently. They have a great team that is engaging and supportive. They start you with a 21-day nutrition reset that really helps set the tone for what you need to do. They're very encouraging and helpful, without being pushy or arrogant about what they do. If you're open to making a change in your life and health and physique, this is a wonderful place to come to. The workouts are great and varied every day. Everything is group work, and very flexible, with times throughout the day. I have co-workers that like to make it in the morning and I find it easier to go in the evening. The trainers they have leading the sessions are fun and encouraging. I've never felt uncomfortable or awkward or self-conscious going in. All you have to do is bring yourself and an open attitude and be ready to push yourself. Not knowing what you're going to do on any day you go in is fun and keeps it fresh. Update 9/27/2021 - Kvell is STILL the best! 10 years a member this December. After a round of chemo this spring and summer I'm back and improving every week. Kvell is an essential part of my recovery plan. There is much more to fitness than pushing weights or doing burpees. You need a complete plan for both mental and physical health. The Lab covers all the bases with great coaching. They check in with each and every member with support and encouragement. They give attention to the details of form and level of effort. They put the work in to understand the nuances of nutrition and pass that knowledge on. I'm into my 4th year now. I cannot believe I've stuck with it this long, but the Lab is that good, I'm still learning and I'm still getting stronger at 60.

I joined Fitness Revolution 4 ½ months ago on the recommendation from a friend and haven’t looked back. I’ve never considered myself in shape and core strength was a figment of my imagination. I’ve had a few stints with other work outs like P90X but an hour + workout 6 days a week was not realistic for me long term. Nothing has stuck until Fitness Revolution. 30-45 minutes, 3 times a week? I agree with many of the other posts--Kvell provides a great, high intensity workout that incorporates movements and exercises that I've never done at other classes or working out on my own. I have been going to Kvell for about 6 months and noticed a huge difference in some of the trail races I've run this spring--I have run Race to Robie for the past few years and generally train the same way. I shaved about 9 minutes off my time this year and the only thing I've done differently is go to Kvell--I felt so much stronger on the uphill. I am new to the area and so grateful that I found the best gym in Boise! I wasn't looking forward to finding a gym and navigating workouts, programs, trainers, etc. A friend invited me for a workout during "bring a friend" week and I've been going since. I just show up and everything is in place for an awesome workout. It's like having a personal trainer as the staff is very into making sure you are working out correctly (posture, body alignment) with surprisingly minimal equipment. They also have great motivational challenges and prizes, including a discount on one of the monthly membership options for showing up 12x/mo. The 45 minute workout is the perfect amount of time and they offer lots of times throughout the day. I always feel challenged (you control your level of exertion) and feel great the rest of the day. I am noticing changes already in my strength and tone after just a month going 2 times/wk. Can't say enough great things about Kvell. Own it!

I will just start out by saying... I hate the gym. And I LOVE Kvell!! 45 minutes of structured workouts that have me dripping sweat by the time we are done. Staff's number one concern is your safety - consistently ensuring everyone's form is correct. Number two concern - maximizing your results, whatever your goals are. And - they are all pretty rad on top of knowing their stuff. Group classes, but everyone works at their own level, thanks to tiered options so that you are comfortable. Seven weeks ago, my goal was to lose 5% body fat. Today, I am up one pound, down 8 pounds of body fat, and down 4% body fat. Minor changes in diet, and a few days a week in the gym have produced more results in two short months than anything else I have ever tried - and I don't hate it. I really can't say enough good things!

I adore Kvell and here is why: I have NEVER been a gym person. I would join one, attend for a week or less, feel intimidated, become self-conscience, get bored and never go back. There were no ellipticals, treadmills, weight machines, floor to ceiling mirrors or dozens of beach bodies taking selfies while judging other patrons. I REALLY like the workouts. 45 minutes of non-stop, heart-pumping, butt-kicking fitness. My first day, I was concerned that others would judge me for my lack of ability or that I wouldn’t size up to everyone else. I was wrong. I was met by nothing but friendly faces from all levels of the program who were more than happy to give me pointers. Nathan, who is the afternoon instructor, makes sure that all participants in that 45 minutes of raw work are poised correctly as not to cause injury and explains how each task is done to there is no confusion. I found the workout to be a pretty efficient total body workout (HIIT) and despite being a regular runner, I am definitely a bit sore the day after, as I obviously had some muscles not being exercised. Kvell is the best fitness program I have ever been apart of. I've done it all, to classes at the local YMCA to Personal Trainers to being on sports teams to buying popular Bikini guides. Why is it the best? The honest first reason is because YOU GET RESULTS. I've lost almost five pounds of fat and not a bit of muscle in just the first four weeks of classes. Also, it's about proper form. You are instructed on the appropriate technique and how to care for your muscles. Secondly, the coaching staff, lead by Justin, is above and beyond. I appreciate the group workouts because I get the same attention as I have received in personal training without the awkward one on one pressure. Truly the hardest part truly is showing up since Justin and Nate guide you through each HIIT workout movement. I feel challenged. Each time I go in I try more weight (as long as it's safe). Also, the classes are 45 minutes and the first 8 minutes or so is all foam rolling and stretching. I always go hard because I know "I can do anything for 37 minutes." I really push myself to get to the next level each time. I tell everyone about it, and when the finally show up they always wonder why they didn't listen sooner.

I tried out two other boutique fitness studios in the Boise area, this one is the best by far. The environment is very motivating and they do a great job scaling the exercises up or down to my level. Loving the results and community feel always looking forward to my next workout!

Great workout, never boring, always challenging and good for any fitness level. They even make it easy to take your workout on the road. In the 2 months I’ve been going my strength and stamina have noticeably increased. 45 minutes in and out and good to go. There’s even a monetary incentive to make it in regularly. The folks here really care about helping clients stay healthy and meet fitness goals.

I stopped by Kvell about 2 months ago and after an incredible introduction by Chelsie, I felt that the facility might meet my needs. So I decided to try it out. Over the last 2 months I have enjoyed the flexible class schedule. Sometime I go on my way into the office, sometimes on my way home, sometime at lunch or a free time mid morning. It's fantastic. The trainers took time to know me, by name, and learn my goals and concerns. They have been fantastic! Results? In the 2 months I am down 5 lbs of body fat (or 2% PBF) and I am feeling fantastic. The work out are sweaty and nasty be fun and effective. Now ... if I reduce my monthly Cheeseburger intake, the results might be even better (not likely).

Feb 2017 Update: I'm back this month after a little break, and man am I happy to be back! Working out at Kvell put me in the best shape of my life, and I want that again! The classes are amazing, the results you get are fantastic, and honestly, I look forward to going, knowing that they are going to push me, and that I'm going to get results. Coming back to Kvell is the best thing I've done for myself in a long time! I just finished a 6 week program and I can't wait to go back for more! The classes at the Lab took my fitness to a whole new level and I have never felt better. I lost weight, gained muscle, and for the first time ever, I can do a pull up! I just finished my second week here and I am so happy I joined. The workouts are intense and tough but you have great trainers helping you through them and great people supporting you. I especially appreciate that each workout is different and has multiple levels of difficulty so you never feel like you have to do something you may not be ready for. If you are struggling with something, the staff will make sure to find a modification that works and they are focused on making sure you do the exercises right, not just fast. This program feels like it will be much easier to stick with and I’m excited to see even more changes. I’ve already seen Some Differences on the scale after just two weeks. If you have 45 minutes and want to get in better shape and health, definitely go here.

Simply put: Kvell is typically the best money I spend every month. Price structure: The more you work out, the less it is. Typically you’d pay about $119 a month for 12-25 sessions/month! Pros: ⁃ Locally owned and operated ⁃ Professional yet kind and fun ⁃ Amazing 45 minute workouts ⁃ A great community ⁃ Focused on the big picture of health, not just fitness ⁃ Wildly convenient if you work downtown Possible cons: ⁃ no showers ⁃ Relatively large classes. Can be a bit crowded for the space they have. They’ve experienced growing pains the past few months. Great service, some classes are fully booked and can’t get into. Book ahead of time. ⁃ At times can value marketing material over private results. In the fitness industry before and after photos are the most compelling form of social proof and testimony. They run incredibly effective 6 week challenges where they require you to submit before and after photos (cool). However, they require you to allow them to post the photos publicly on their social media, website, etc if you’re a challenge winner. It’s their prerogative, I just don’t care for it as a requirement. Overall I highly recommend it! Would send my friends and family.

I am a busy mom of two, I work night shift at the hospital and I felt making fitness a priority just wasn’t in the cards, but Kvell has helped me realize balance is possible and I couldn’t be happier. It feels so rewarding knowing I’m making time for me, three times a week, 45 minutes a day, who could say no to that, I couldn’t. Even on mornings when I get home just a few hours earlier from work, managed to get maybe five hours of sleep, I’ve been woken up by my three year old, my sleep was interrupted countless times and everything in me is telling me to hit snooze and go back to sleep, there is something unique about Kvell that I haven’t found anywhere else, they motivate me to get up, show up and bring it. I’ve never experienced a fitness center/gym where I felt I belonged. I am on my fourth week and have been to eleven classes and I can already feel a change in my mind and body. Thank You Kvell for being different and impacting my life in such an incredible way. It is out of my comfort zone to try new things, especially when it involves exercise, in a group setting no less. Being someone who has never set foot in a gym, it was a huge new thing to try. I did not know 90% of the movements and was very uncoordinated. Three months later, after going consistently for three days a week, my confidence, coordination, and strength have greatly improved. The amount of personal training I receive in a group setting is impressive. My body and mind are in a better place having found Kvell.

I train with Kvell because I need the accountability, to be productive, and someone to teach me new workouts so I don't get bored. Having a 1.5+ hour commute between going to work and home each day makes it hard to find time or to want to workout. Having signed up for a class during lunch allows me a break from work and the accountability that I need to show up. My schedule is tight (as most people's are) and I need my workout to be productive. I don't have 1-2 hours each day to spend at the gym. A 45min intense workout 3 days a week works for me. I'm not an exercise science major I don't know what workouts will help me the most. They do. That's why I go to Kvell.

This place is amazing! I've been coming here for over two years and absolutely love it. I took a six-month hiatus and tried to find other programs like it, but nothing honestly compares and had to come back. The programs are best if you (like me) need group workouts, but some level of individual coaching. Brett, the coach is amazing and really cares about making Kvell the best program it can be. This program is challenging, but totally worth it. Own it!
