I've been working with David for about months now and I have to say it's the best experience I've had with any trainer/coach I've worked with. He puts together workout plans for exactly what your goals are. He's understanding about the balance of life/fitness. He'll give you whatever you need to succeed. My goal was to gain strength and work at having a better relationship with fitness (as I'd been bodybuilding for a couple of years and was in a bad place mentally) and I've never been stronger or happier.

He really understands what it takes to get you to your goal. I've not only lost a ton of weight working with him, but I've also added a ton of muscle mass.

A really remarkable coach! I began working with David in August 2021. I've worked with several coaches in the past, and David has taken personal training to the next level. David has worked with me in meeting several different goals, from weight loss to building strength. Beyond training, David has also coached on my diet and nutrition, ensuring that my diet consistently aligns with my goals.
Last October, David coached me through both a ballroom competition, and 3 weeks later, a fitness photo shoot. He ensured I was fueled and prepared to perform for the competition, and then to quickly shift my diet and training to make sure I could cut, and look my very best for the shoot. He was present and attentive to my needs and my goals in this very short amount of time.
David is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and supportive of his clients.

I started training with David back in September of 2020. I had plateaued with physique and strength for months before hand. With his training and nutrition expertise, I have lost a significant amount of body fat and have gained significant muscle mass. With David’s background in gymnastics, powerlifting and amateur body building, his training and nutrition is next level. Some exercises that he has programmed for me I would have NEVER seen in a commercial gym. Overall I would 110% recommend his training for anyone regardless of your goals. He works very close with his clients and he makes a plan for YOU. I've worked with Dave for about 20 months. I have had 9 personal trainers over the last 12 years, He is not your standard personal trainer by any means. After doing initial assessment of lifestyle, physical and health goals, he tailors both nutrition and fitness chapters for each individual client. I use "chapters" because he's willing to adapt to changing goals. For instance we routinely have periods of time where I'm more interested in strength (and not so much on diet) as opposed to muscle mass, physique and nutrition. His technical attention to form is superb as is his attention to detail. Dave also comes to know all of his clients really well and so it's never going through the motions with him. His garage gym is essentially a full gym and he is constantly improving it and adding new equipment. Finally, Dave is one of the nicest people on the planet with an immense heart. If you're looking for fitness program that can be tailored for your specific situation and goals, you must check him out.

I reached out to David late last year to help me reach some goals with my nutrition and powerlifting. His help and guidance was beyond amazing. Without his support, I wouldn’t have been able to perform as well at USPA Nationals. Everything that he has given me has been so amazing and insightful.
Going into my competition, David devoted hours on end preparing me through a water cut. On the day of the meet, he helped me refuel my body and continued to advise me through proper fueling so I stayed energized throughout my 10 hour meet. David helped me throughout my entire prep staying calm, focused, and hopeful. To say I am grateful is an understatement. I cannot recommend David and his other coaches enough!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! I am a single mom of a special needs child that cannot go to the gym. I was able to have my own fitness program tailored to my needs and have had amazing results. I started at the end of August 2022 and by November had went from a size 13 to a size 6. I've gained muscle and am on the best shape of my life. As a 38 year old with diabetes and lupus, it made me feel so good that my trainer Landri had worked with others who needed specific treatment. Strength training has made my inflammation flareups further apart and lessened the duration and severity. My favorite aspect of this program was the on demand workouts that I can do anytime and any place. I've even done my workouts on my child's hospital room! You can see demonstrations of the moves and there are variations to help challenge you as you progress. I had weekly check ins and a positive upbeat encouraging atmosphere. I'm not even in the same state and have had the best experience. This is the best gift you can give yourself. I started at 256 lbs. And this program has just helped me physically and mentally to push myself to goals beyond what I had ever envisioned for myself. If I can do this anyone can! Highly recommend David for your fitness and nutrition coaching needs! He combines the best of expert knowledge and deeply caring about his clients. He’s always reading up on the latest exercises that will be beneficial to my goals to make my workouts both fresh and effective. He also has expert knowledge on how various muscles and tendons interact—if a specific movement is painful for me, he can explain why it’s likely painful and offer numerous alternate exercises to work the muscle pain-free (although his first alternate suggestion generally does the trick!). I also find his explanations of each exercise and how to know if I’m doing them properly so helpful—it can be intimidating doing some exercises you’ve never done before, but he makes it both educational and fun! He works to deeply understand my fitness and nutrition goals and is a fantastic coach and supporter—I’ve always felt he’s in it with me and will do anything to help me achieve my goals. My husband and I have been working out with David since February 2021. We are in our late 50’s and truly appreciate David’s methodology. He is very knowledgeable, attentive and kind. He is clearly a very gifted athlete and coach to elite and world class athletes, but he is also well versed in coaching the middle age set who just need/want to build strength, flexibility and balance. Often I am intimidated by trainers, gyms and the various levels of weight training. David works very hard to make us comfortable and to ensure that we are performing the sets correctly in a way that achieves results but does not cause injury. I enjoy working out with David at Spitz Fitness! I was so scared to start working with a fitness coach because there are lots of people who don’t care and I didn’t want to “waste” my money. One of the many things I appreciate about David is his attention to the differences in training women. If I'm having a bad period that day, he alters my programming so I still get in a great workout, but don't hurt myself in the process. Spitz fitness is an excellent gym/fitness alternative for the ones that like me doesn’t want to go to a gym to workout by themselves. David offers personalize programs that fits your specific needs and offers a detailed explanation of the importance of that specific exercise, what areas of your body works and how to do it correctly. David also careas about your eating habits knowing that exercising without having good eating habits is worthless. This garage gym has everything I need and is spotless and always clean. I feel safe in his gym Definitely one of the best investments in my life.

(Translation) In December 2019 a car crashed into the back of my car when I was waiting at a traffic light. Since then I had back pain, especially when carrying. I started training with David in August 2021. We have worked on strengthening my back and arms mainly, and I no longer have back pain. I can now load the supermarket bags!
I have also begun to notice changes in my body in general and I have learned to eat more balanced. Now I can bench press 65lbs and my max is 75lbs.

En Diciembre 2019 un auto se impactó en la parte trasera de mi auto cuando yo estaba esperando en un semáforo. Desde entonces tuve dolores de espalda sobre todo cuando cargaba. Empecé a entrenar con David en Agosto 2021. Hemos trabajado en fortalecer mi espalda y mis brazos principalmente, y ya no tengo dolor de espalda. Ya puedo cargar las bolsas del supermercado!
También he comenzado a notar cambios en mi cuerpo en general y he aprendido a comer más balanceado. Ahora puedo levantar 65 libras en la bench press bar y mi máximo es 75 libras.
