I attended PoleLaTeaz regularly & it introduced me to pole. Many of the girls and instructors (Emily was my favorite) were talented, helpful & encouraging. Floorplay was my favorite class. But there are a couple reasons I didn’t have a 5 star experience after many classes at PLT. I did struggle with how many girls attended each class. There were often so many of us in a class that we were literally on top of each other, bumping into / tripping over / accidentally kicking each other. For the fee, it would’ve been a much better experience to have more space to move and more time on the pole / practicing moves with the instructor with fewer people around. Along with attending several classes, I also did the level 1 pole series and for the most part it was cool. It raised my comfort level on the floor and taught me basic pole moves. I do however battle with hyperhidrosis (which means my body sweats way more than the average person) and it was tough to grip the pole. When I learned about pole grip I was excited because it was my only shot at staying on the pole with constantly slippery hands. Sadly my excitement was met with weird energy and words from my level 1 pole instructor, Catalyst. It was odd to me how overtly against & unsupportive she was of my using pole grip. She even regularly tried to discourage me from using it and acted like there’s a hidden rule that’s says you can’t use pole grip in Level 1. That experience threw off the whole series for me because there’s no point in coming to pole class if you can’t stay on the pole (my strength had nothing to do with it - all good there). Everyone at PoleLaTeaz, including Catalyst, hyped up body positivity. But I did not get body positivity vibes from my instructor when it came to supporting my body’s very real need to use pole grip. For those considering enrolling in a series at PoleLaTeaz: take a class or two with a couple instructors and pick the one(s) you vibe with before committing to a series. And for Catalyst: lighten up. Be supportive when your students need assistance even if you don’t agree with the assistance they need.

I had a BLAST. I took the Intro to Pole class and Sticky Sweet (Not sure if we can post their real names 😅) was absolutely wonderful 💚 She set such an open, accepting, and fun learning environment. Very thorough with instructions and also in correcting/improving techniques. I am so excited to be taking classes with this studio. Will definitely enroll in a membership once my Groupon expires.

I love this place. It is very welcoming! I’ve been taking pole dancing classes here for about a year now. Instructors are not just pole dancers, they really are very well trained to teach how to pole dance. Who should take classes here? Literally anyone, I’ve seen all body shapes, all ages, all genders and people with a lot to no dance experience. Everyone can do it at this place. For those in doubt, just take an intro class of your choice and give it a try, it’s only $20, I promise you won’t regret it. Also, they have their own app which makes it very easy to book a class, see the schedule and who will be the instructor. Catalyst, SubXero and Indigo are my personal favorites.

I just LOVE this studio!!! The space is so inviting and extremely supportive! (And very clean)! I love that everyone cheers for each other. My confidence was so low when I first came here. Due to their wonderful staff and teachers i can do things that I never thought I could do and my confidence is the highest it has ever been. I am so grateful to the owner for creating such an amazing environment and really helping women believe in themselves.Every darn teacher is so good here and have their own styles. Plus they take safety and proper breakdowns seriously. You will not regret coming to this studio. It has changed my life

Updating my review, but only to add more detail - still a solid five stars! I'm working to get back in to lyra and pole and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend Erin and Angela, but all of the instructors are dedicated and professional. As a teacher, you get a sense for who teaches out of passion and enjoys seeing their students thrive. It was a big change to not only move, but come out of the pandemic out of practice and let's be real - out of shape! The front desk staff, instructors, and students, are encouraging and supportive. If you've hesitated coming because you think you aren't strong enough, that you'll be feel judged about your body or fitness level, that this type of workout is only for a certain age group, etc. please don't let that hold you back! I'm 40, starting with the basics again, introverted, and building my strength and stamina. Every week I look forward to my pole series. I promise you'll see growth and feel more confident each time. I definitely see why Poleateaz came highly recommended by my former studio.

Great diverse all female dance studio that has classes tailored to students of ALL levels of dance experience/skill. Think body friendly, fun, sexy work outs! Update: The studio's prices recently increased making it a splurge to regularly dance here but ultimately, the additional expense hasn't dissuaded me from coming here several days a week. It feels great to consistently practice and experience results alongside other women doing the same. Each woman is on her own dance journey; we support one another.

Came here for a Mother’s Day class. Was very fun and the instructor (Catalyst) was very pleasant. They gave us a discount on everything in the boutique and a little gift when we left. Definitely a workout my legs are still hurting lol. You even get a pole certification after the class lol! Would definitely go back again.

The studio is in a somewhat obnoxious spot, so pay attention to where you're supposed to turn! The studio has a nice lounge, with apparel for purchase and rental shoes for pole. The Lyra room and sky barre room are well stocked and spacious. Expect to hear the sounds of the next door room, but it's not too distracting. I liked that they don't allow outside shoes in the studio space and how welcoming the whole experience was.

My friends & I had the absolute BEST time for my birthday! Their website is very easy to navigate, it is thoroughly detailed with descriptions & prices! Lots of different styles, classes, & just about anything to fit into a good fun time!! All of the communication was great, the emails with all the info to share with my guests & the phone call was great! The studio was very nice, the lighting, the poles the sound was awesome! Everything to make you feel like your alter Ego! Our instructor Milan was just a sweetheart & did her best with the ones who just couldn’t get it right LOL!! Our hour was filled with a whole lot of laughs & learning new things!! I was so very happy for my day & my guests had a wonderful time too! The only recommendation/suggestion I would give is that you follow the directions on their site & that they provide, not the GPS! Other than that THE BEST!!! I’m definitely going back!!

Wow! There’s so much to say about this place. Honestly I started with just a group class for a friend’s birthday and just the customer service alone from the instructor, made me sign up for a class by myself! Literally the best place in the world to workout. I can’t recommend Pole La Teaz enough if you’re looking to get into pole, silks, or Lyra. I went from zero rhythm to an acrobatic circus performer in 9 inch heels. Do yourself a favor if you’re looking to start somewhere in your aerial journey and start here.

I’ve had a great experience at Polelateaz since I started taking classes 18 months ago! There is a great variety of classes to try, and the instructors are so friendly and knowledgeable. Even in drop-in classes, the instructors give you individual attention to help you improve. I have fallen in love with Lyra and I’m working my way through the leveled series. I also like that there are several membership packages to choose from which was helpful when I used to travel extensively (pre-COVID) for work. As a chronically late person, I did have to get used to the late policy (not permitted to attend class if 10 minutes late) but this policy is very clearly stated when you sign up for classes so I make sure to get there on time or early. I highly recommend this studio for dance and exercise!

Great place with great people. I attended the workshop sampler and I loved all of the techniques, but aerial silks are my favorite. It was my first time trying them, but I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be back in the future. Also the instructors were so nice and informative. A no judgement zone as well, all types of beautiful ladies were in attendance.

I went to Polelateaz’s first open house soirée, which allows you a little sampler on all they have to offer. I genuinely had so much fun, that same day, I took advantage of their specials. I had my first two days of classes last week (two classes each day) and I had so much fun and it’s definitely full body. The little hour goes by quickly but you definitely work your body. The instructors are charismatic, patient and encouraging...they hyped me up and made me feel sexaaaay! Once my $40/30 days is up, I’ll be signing on for a drop in class membership and once I finish Level 1 pole (so excited to get started!) I’ll be signing on for full membership to continue levels. I definitely recommend this place for women of all ages and sizes (I’m a plus size gal myself). The work you do here and the instructors will make you feel sexy and confident while you’re having fun and getting your workout!

Loved the Jiggle It class! It was fun and definitely a workout. I would say that I came with a group of friends and we weren't aware that we needed to buy knee pads. That could have been poor planning on our part but was a downer since we only were on our knees maybe 20% of the class. The instructor we had was great and made everyone feel welcome and encouraged us to have fun with it!

Overall myself and my guest loved my two hour party. It was super fun and the music was great. The only part I did not care for was the badgering for tips by the front desk receptionist. We brought enough cash for the final payment since only the deposit could be made online. In the past, classes I've previously been to, be it a fitness class or a dance class, there was never such an emphasis placed on receiving a tip since it was a paid class. I discovered from my guest that prior to me exiting the aerial silks room (I was the last one), that the receptionist made it her business to continuously mention the tip to them and then proceeded to inquire about a tip once I approached the desk. I did ask the receptionist if she had the instructors' cashapps, paypal, or zelle information available to tip electronically, and unfortunately she did not. I personally just think the badgering was distasteful, especially when we paid good money for the party itself.

I took the intro to sky barre class and it was a workout that definitely had a mix of barre and aerial yoga but with aerial silks. My experiences thus far have been good with PoleLaTeaz. Poling is an expensive hobby, but they are competitive in their prices. The studio space is nice. They have great hardwood floors that don't scrape up your knees/ankles when transitioning from the floor. The poles are bolted into ceiling beams and are nice and tall. They also have different rooms so one can be used for class and the other for open pole/practice sessions. I used my Maps app, so I didn't have any trouble locating them. I'm a stickler about parking, so that's the only area I could complain about. There are limited spaces up front, but I was able to park on the side of the building. I went during the day, so I'm not sure how well-lit this area is at night. The instructors are knowledgeable as well. Of the two studios in this area, I prefer PoleLaTeaz.

Learning to dance here has been a life-changing experience for this old nerd lady. I'm consistently humbled and challenged, yet I feel sexier and more in tune with my body than ever. I love the variety of drop-in classes they teach and all the instructors (although Quietstorm is my heart, my first, and my pole mama).

I just left the Girls Night class and it was so much more than I expected. It’s a 3-1 class consisting of a coyote ugly, 50 shades and pole dancing. I was super nervous at first since I’m a beginner, but it take long for me to fit right in because everyone else were beginners as well. The instructors were patient, kind and let you be you. Most importantly, the class was only $20 and was absolutely FAT FRIENDLY.

According to me, the pole dancing is the best training. It does not only improve your body but benefits your health as well. Because you are required to lift and hold your own body weight it improves your muscles in the most healthier way. Most of the tricks you are doing help you improve multiple muscles at the same time. This sport improves your flexibility, grip strength, and so on, and so on. The best part of the pole dancing is that you develop a self-confidence. It's the best way to make some workouts and have a fun time. The instructors at this studio are great, very friendly and always there to catch you if you fail :) Highly recommend the sport and the studio! Happy pole-dancing all!

Update 02/20/2019: I still go to PoleLaTeaz every week! Really loving the vibe and support from all my pole sisters! Signed up for their 8-week Pole Level series last year, and now I'm in level 5 (10 months later!) Also signed up for Unlimited Drop Ins again to learn new tricks outside of the level series and I'm still as obsessed with this studio as I was nearly a year ago! Oh, and best part is they have Lyra classes now too! I took a 4-week intro series and had just as much fun as I do in pole class. Still highly recommend PoleLaTeaz to any women (beginner or expert) to come and join the fun with us and see why we keep raving about it! Old Post: I joined using their Groupon promo with my friend, and we've been going to Polelateaz almost every day since, including weekends! If you're looking to try out something new, you want to feel sexy, you want to feel amazing, you want to sweat and see results, three words: SIGN UP NOW! :) Every teacher I've had here are super sweet and encouraging no matter which class you're taking. So if it's your first time doing pole, chair, floor, cardio row, etc. fear not! They'll do their best to help :) An AWESOME fact I'd like to share: I lost 4-5lbs during the 4 weeks I've been to Polelateaz! I didn't do anything different with my diet. But I did take a lot of Cardio Row and Tuck and Tone classes, about 3-4x a week. Let me tell you, these classes are no joke! But the results are definitely worth it all. I was able to lose a few problem areas, my waist got smaller, and my abs (which were nonexistent at the time) are starting to look like ABS. My significant other noticed my results too, and he couldn't be more happier for me :) Once my Groupon ends, I'm planning to focus more on their 4-8 week Pole series! So ladies, I highly encourage you to try out Polelateaz! You'll find yourself coming back for more and discovering new things you thought you couldn't do :)

OMG! Sista getting her groove back and my first class was just a glimpse of where I'm headed! AWESOME! The hostess at the front desk was very helpful and inviting (Terri) and my first instructor, Nurse Poundcake...now she is the truth! She is very supportive and encouraging; you always feel like you can do it and you never feel like anyone is judging you. You WILL work up a sweat, ,especially if you haven't been working out in a while, but this is FUN and I'm ready for more! The classes are a fun way to stay active. The groupon was worth the money and I'll be looking to get a membership moving forward. *Update, I did get a membership and do not regret it at all. I get a workout, fun, and stress relief all in one.

I will say; overall I really enjoyed my private party session with about 12 ladies (Jan 2014). The people were EXTREMELY rude to my party as we came in. Given, we were late getting there (more like on time but we didn't have that extra 15-20 minutes to spare to sign paperwork) since we came from out-of-state to attend the pole session. I totally understand the frustration that tardiness can cause but there was no need to be rude to the extent they were. They actually yelled at us even but I didn't want to ruin my birthday, so I just went with it to avoid any altercations. One of my friends was so pissed about the way we were talked to, that she opted out of even doing the pole class altogether (she sat and watched). Once the class got started, everything went well. Our instructor did an awesome routine that got everyone hyped, the studio was spacious/ professional, and everyone that took the class had a blast. I wish we would've learned more pole tricks than routines but I still had fun. I was SOOOOO TIRED by the end of the class and they made me freestyle since it was MY BIRTHDAY being celebrated....I wanted to fall out but I put it down lol Regardless of the trouble in the beginning, it is worth it to take a class there.

I've been a student at this studio since January 2013 and I absolutely am addicted. Pole fitness presents a serious challenge, but the program here is set up so that each new goal is highly attainable. No, you will not be going up side down or climbing to the top of the poles on the first day. Some studios around here do that but this studio focuses on safety and perfecting each trick versus just learning how to sloppily do moves you see on youtube. I must note there is a significant difference between drop in classes and 8 week sessions. If you are only attending classes you are not going to progress to high level moves. The 8 week sessions are there to provided serious instruction to pole students. So if you feel like you're doing the same moves over and over, pay the extra cash and join a session. They have various plans for different pocketbooks. The year membership is by far the best deal. Also, before signing up for a big package, I suggest taking classes with different instructors. Each instructor has a different style. Some are more focused on acrobatics, some on mostly trick and some on sensuality. My own pole mama is the queen of sultry. At PoleLaTeaz, the fantasy meets reality making for an exceptional experience of empowerment!!! I participated in an open house event and was extremely impressed with the skill, technique, knowledge, and energy that the instructors so easily shared with students! PoleLaTeaz has so much more to offer than “just being sexy” there is information, accountability, opportunity, understanding , loving correction, and for lack of better words—vibes. The instructors are dignified, admired, and respected, yet they hold space for so many women and students. I am so excited to have visited, I plan to bring others as soon as they are ready to meet their upgraded alter ego in the mirror!!!
