V is an excellent trainer and a great person. Having spent years in the weight room without making material progress, I could not be happier with the results I've achieved under V's careful guidance over the past 2 years. With his medical background and refusal to entertain fitness industry gimmicks, he takes a disciplined, no-nonsense approach to training that I appreciate. V is highly intelligent, reliable, and cares a lot. Needless to say, at this point he is also my close friend. I enthusiastically recommend V without reservation.

Injuries are why I’ve had to stop lifting in the past. V shows me how to lift so I will not injure myself. Finally, I see strength training as a long term exercise since V is teach the correct methods for lifting.

I worked with V for almost a year (the only reason I stopped is because I moved out of the city). He not only helped me get in shape and improve my general health, he completely changed my outlook on how to approach fitness mentally.
I think it’s really rare to find a trainer who has such a human approach to the way they do things, he truly cares holistically about his clients health and well-being. V knows how to get results and doesn’t buy at all into any of the fitness/nutrition pseudo-science bs that’s out there.
I genuinely never thought I would be able to attain and maintain the level of strength I’m at now, and I don’t think it’s something I could have done on my own

Been a client for a year for primarily strength training and muscle growth. One of my favorite things about V's training is he takes time to explain what muscles I'm activating, why, and how it should look and feel when done properly. He is careful to correct minor errors. V has also provided limited nutritional advice, which is helpful for someone who finds it difficult to gain/lose weight. Finally, every session is different, which keeps it interesting. I would recommend V to anyone who needs an encouraging trainer and help learning a variety of exercises.

V is awesome. He is an extremely knowledgeable trainer with a medical background (which was most appealing to me), so he knows what you need and how to push you in a safe way. He listens to his client’s goals and observes their areas of development and focuses there whole building on their strengths. For example, I was getting married to wanted to be lean but strong with definition but also needed to work on flexibility. V has developed workouts for me that address all 3. As a former D1 college athlete, I haven’t had better training in my life than with V. Book a session with him ASAP!

I have been training with V for almost 4 months. What makes me a unique client is that I'm a T3 paraplegic. So I'm very limited on the number of exercises I can perform adequately for strong workout. Do to V's experience as a trainer and his medical knowledge we were highly productive starting from the first session. With past trainers it has taken a few weeks to tailor a routine, but not with V. He immediately understood my limitations and optimized a routine that reflects his training style.
My results have been significantly noticeable. Shoulders, chest and biceps have filled out nicely and he has helped me overcome barriers with other sets of muscles. I'd highly recommend V. His approach and temperament can fit any client's needs. He is reliable and keeps timely appointments.

I have worked out on my own for several years and I can definitely say that training with V has been the best way for building up my strength and endurance. He is enthusiastic and professional. Our workout sessions are very productive and efficient. No time is wasted and the price-quality relationship is very good. Only after 3 weeks I could already notice the results. V pushes me to higher limits than ever before. I honestly recommend V as a very professional personal trainer. It really works, but get ready to suffer a bit as well!

I’ve been training with V for almost 2 years. He is really good with his workout sessions and he tailors them to fit your needs and your abilities. He doesn't set up the workouts as a "one size fits all approach" which is good because everyone is different. He will even demonstrate each part of the workout with you so you're able to understand! Amazing trainer! I started working with V after a minor car accident. I had never been big on the gym and generally had no idea what I was doing when it came to weights but that all changed when I started working with V. V's knowledge of the human body and great attitude got me back to running. V is always on time, super responsive to calls and texts and makes sure that you get the best work out in the time period you choose. If you are not at all experienced, like I was, or alternatively if you want to continue to achieve and surpass fitness goals, go to V.

If you're looking for a trainer to challenge you, then V is your guy. After 2.5 years of essentially no real exercise due to a torn hip labrum, I was ready to get my health into shape. Along with my husband, we've been seeing V about 3 times a week for almost 3 months. Our energy and heart rates have vastly improved, and we look forward to each work out (V, don't read that line because then you'll push us harder!!). Each day is different and challenging, and V typically will join you in the workout (usually by the time we see him he's done about 2-3 workouts and then he still participates in our session!). I wish we had found him sooner!

One of the things I appreciate most about V's training style is his ability to constantly challenge me with dynamic workouts that never get stale, alternating between the use of body weight, free weights, and other exercise equipment. V has also been consistent in educating me on the importance of proper form to avoid injury and why certain exercises are needed to meet my specific goals. Additionally, he’s taken an interest in my nutrition and is always reminding me that exercise alone is not enough. Furthermore, he’s not shy about working out with me and encouraging me to power through.
Since starting my fitness journey with V, I’ve gained seven pounds of lean muscle and have lost two inches in my waist. I’m looking forward to continuing working towards meeting my fitness goals, surpassing them, and developing new goals with V.
I don’t usually write reviews, but Atlanta should know what a great trainer V is (even at the risk of him becoming too popular and booked to train with me). I’ve worked with a few different trainers over the years, and V is the best, by far.

I'm seeing results and feeling more confident. I came to V a couple of months ago after getting an osteoporosis (OP - decreased bone density and quality that can lead to greater fracture risk) diagnosis in my spine. Reading that heavy weights can increase bone density, I looked for a trainer with experience with OP clients. V's medical background and training experience sold me and I've been happy. He's worked with my budget finding other clients with similar needs and strength for my sessions. Our twice/week hour sessions are yielding results so that after building up my stabilizing muscles and working around my bum knee and runner tightness we're getting into the weight ranges that make my friends use the wow emoji face. The workouts have been varied, the music selections good, and V's direction, support, and camaraderie invaluable.

Incredible results. In less than 4 weeks of training with V, I'm already down 12 lbs. For years I had allowed my multiple injuries limit my perceived ability to workout hard, but V has helped me break through these barriers to realize they were self-imposed false limits.
A few highlights on why training with V has been great for me:
1. As an MD, he understands my injuries and how to work around them, and can push me harder than I've ever trained before without any threat of aggravating the old injuries or causing new ones. In fact, much of what I thought was chronic pain has gone away since training with V.
2. Every workout is different, challenging, and focuses on multiple muscle groups. Everything from calisthenics, weights, kettle bells, resistance bands, low hurdles, TRX, cardio... he incorporates it all. He takes what I think is my limit and pushes me beyond it during every training session. And it's not just about getting through a set routine or number of reps - form trumps all. One of the great ways V challenges me is when I start to tire and my form starts to break, he has me slow down and really focus on getting the form right as my muscles fatigue (and not counting reps when my form breaks). As one muscle group tires, he switches things up to hit another group and push that to its limit, then another, then another...
3. Stretching - every session ends with 5-10 min of stretching which has really helped with muscle recovery and flexibility. This is something I have historically neglected, but I am definitely seeing the benefits now.
4. He trains my mind as well my the body. What I mean by this is that he explains why he is having me do each movement, what muscle groups are being worked, how he adjusts things to work around my injuries yet still target the right muscles, and the important elements of each workout.
5. He is inspiring. He's not a cheerleader; don't expect him to stand there with pompoms and cheer you through each training session. Also don't expect him to stand there and bark orders at you. What inspires me in addition to everything else I have listed above in this review is that he often jumps in and works out with me. As I'm going through my sets, he often does a variation of the same movement/exercise along side of me (much more advanced version, though); seeing this pushes me even harder to master what I'm doing and continue to progress so that I can one day do those same advance movements.
My one regret is not starting to train with him sooner. V has my highest recommendation!
