They are not a super high end spa, but what they have is nice, and for the price, it is hard to beat. Get your tanning done while at the gym will save an extra stop around town. The hydro massage tables are limited in what they can do, but they do take the edge off the sore neck and back, anything more and you will need a professional massage.

Clean and accesible gym in midtown! The facilities are very nice considering the low membership fees, which are also a huge plus. The locker rooms are big and always pretty clean. It’s never very crowded when I go, and they have a pretty wide range of machines and free weights!

Went in to sign up today. Found out you have to sign up using the app. Nice seating area available to sit and sign up. After signing up, I went to front desk and asked for a tour of the facility, what I needed to do when entering, how to sign up for tanning and massages. Overall I thought there was alot of cardio equipment and a decent amount of nautilus style equipment. Not alot of free weights, but those don't really interest me.

I appreciate this gym, but I'm not trying to be offensive or racist but the only front desk people that are working after the year I've been here are the loudmouth/terrible costumer service black dudes?? All the decent people I've seen working at the gym have left and its only the unprofessional guys?...Anyway the price is cheap and I can get my workout in so I appreciate that at least.

Great deal! $10 24hr (can use on 2 consecutive days) pass for out of state folks and $20 for in state. All the weights and machines you could need.

I feel like PF gets a bad rap sometimes because of the whole water bottle thing or the "lunk alarm". I've brought large (30 plus oz) water bottles in with no issue and in the several years I've been going here never heard the alarm sound. There's a huge range of folks that work out at the one that I go to, and no one stares or laughs from my experience

The facility isn't every large but they have some good equipment and the establishment is very clean. The staff members are also very attentive It can get pretty crowded at times so I usually try to go around 2:30 or 3 to beat the rush.

Very clean facility, they do a good job at keeping it clean. Friendly and accomdating staff. Just a very suitable workout facility. Of course this type of gym isn't designed for power lifting or any of that due to their small selection of free weight equipment but they have a wide variety of cardio equipment as well as many machine based weight lifting equipment. Great place to get in shape.

The Black card gets you access to a clean gym with a great selection of machines, a good selection of freeweights, and free tanning & various massage chairs/beds. For under 25$ per month, it's a five star experience. There is training available, but no classes, swimming pool, or basketball court.

We signed up about a month ago and have found this place to be just what we needed and wanted. From the friendly welcome as we enter to the workout and special treat of a body massage to end our session we have appreciated each moment

I like to come here and get my cardio in as I train with a trainer elsewhere. It’s always clean and tidy, and the locker room is always clean as well. Staff is usually super friendly when I forget my scan card.Never had problems with the staff before until tonight. I wasn’t super aware of what time it was and figured to get my cardio in for the day. Walked up to the door and noticed the employee locking the door- politely just said, “Oh! You’re closed! Sorry!” and he was pretty rude about it in his response. It was awkward as there were other employees standing outside.

My favorite Planet Fitness to visit. Only three Smith machines and some of the equipment is down due to covid social distancing requirements (April2021) but there's never a long wait. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. *Edit to add: Covid restrictions are enforced fairly with the member receiving benefit of the doubt. Sometimes masks slip past the nose during sets, but as long as you're social distancing and fix your mask after your set is complete there is no issue. The very few times I have been reminded were always done in a kind and respectful manner

It would be great if it wasn't so crowded and then there's the fact that people blatantly ignore and move around the covid distancing markers. Which I'd prefer even without covid because people smell really bad.

Ricardo and TT (I'm pretty sure that's his name) were hella dope!! I locked myself out of my place and had to catch a plane with only 2 hours to spare and I still needed to pack and those boys got there within 15 mins!! SUPER fast!! They did what they did best.. and popped that lock within SECONDS!! Thanks guys!! You guys are amazing!! I LOVE New York!!

Best gym! By far the best PF in all of Anchorage. I usually go late evenings, where you can find the staff (who have served the place very well since its inception from Benson.) keeping the place clean, and very professional. Any members, need to visit. The lockers are nicest ive seen! Nice job.

I've been a member here for about 6 months and, so far, haven't had any issues. The billing has been accurate and billed as explained prior to my signing a contract. There are busier times (the typical lunch and after work crowds), but I don't think I've ever been at a loss of finding a piece of equipment open that I intended to use. The staff members that signed me on are great! They are professional, knowledgable and kind. They remember regulars and seem genuinely happy to see familiar faces. They recently (spring 2015) signed on some younger crew that could work on their professionalism, but, given the professionalism of the crew these kids are learning from, I have no doubt that they'll get up to speed soon. Clean, affordable, well-maintained.

Plentiful amounts of machines and equipment and there's different areas ; lobby, main floor, 30 minute workout, pf360, and an abs and stretching area. Also men and womens locker room.

Great for what it is. Staff, machines, and weights are nice. This just isn’t a serious gym if thats something you are interested in. They have an alarm that sounds if you place weights down too loudly which I just repeatedly set off without even dropping my dumbells that hard. If my company didn’t pay for my membership, I would go elsewhere due to the atmosphere that seems to make fun of people who are serious about working out. They should rename it to “Politically Correct Fitness”

Good gym, clean, friendly, haven't had many problems personally. Only issue is that it's small and doesn't have a lot of options for free weights, nor space to use the free weights they have. They prioritize cardio, even though most of their ellipticals and treadmills are not used. Dumbbell area is packed while cardio machines are empty.

Standard equipment. Felt a bit cramped. No change rooms. Showers were roomy. No wait. Not sure if bad side of town, questionable folks around. Shell gas nearby had 4 cops cars taking care of something.

Benson Blvd is my favorite location. The gym is typically jam packed from 6-9 very busy time and would not go around this time as you can't get a decent workout in. I'd recommend going at 5:am.
