This spot is a church that was converted into a venue/event space. Its very dark - dark paint, low lighting, candles. I went for an album debut/performance and that could be why the place was so dark - ambiance, maybe? I do think the space would be great for a Halloween party or a masquerade ball, it gives that haunting goth kinda feeling. Parking on the street under the 6 Train - not so great. Parked far away and had to dodge piles of dog poo on the way YUCK.

I run this place and we aim to make every visit worth the trip. The only space that seamlessly integrates the LGBTQ community and it's artist, primarily of color, into all we do. An open space with a fun, funky vibe.

An artist's utopia in the ghetto of the Bronx. From the moment you walk in you feel as if you've walked into a pocket dimension where you can express yourself in any manner you feel. And those who perform here do just that. Its worth the distant travel to experience the shows and festivals that happen here year round.

This is a wonderful performance space. I've seen many wonderful shows of exciting new & established artists here. They've been producing a variety of festivals yearly like the BAAD Ass Women series, & many more. They also work with local youth & talent. Charles Rice-Gonzalez & Arthur Aviles are wonderful artists themselves & have made a huge contribution to the Bronx & the city at large with their collaboration in this theater. The space is brand new & fully renovated. I haven't been yet, but the pictures are stunning. It's very polished.
