Saw ‘Hairspray’ at this theater which was an amazing performance! Broadway quality performance, will be going back.
Theater itself is pretty, but our legs didn’t fit in our seats and our knees hit the seats in front of us (we had to sit sideways). It was very very cold inside, and a toilet flooded the women’s bathroom. Few renovations and it could be a stunning venue!

Employees are very nice and helpful, the theatre is beautiful but the seating needs improvement. I am 5'6" and the seating was so tight. Fortunately I had an end seat where I could stretch out otherwise I don't think I would have made it through the whole show

Greatly enjoyed Mandy Patinkin's show "Being Alive." Thought the parking garage at 11th and Orange was very convenient even on a cold night.

Beautiful vintage theater located in DuPont hotel. Home to Broadway in Delaware series. Saw Fiddler on the Roof last night it was excellent. Posting additional photos from seat in mezzanine, row C seat 101

The view from most all seats are great. The tickets to The Wizard of Oz were a little pricey. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. The reason for the 4 star review is that the seats are quite uncomfortable. We will go again in December to see the Illusionists. Very hard to find parking for a truck. The garages have low ceilings.

I have attended several performances at the Playhouse and haven't been disappointed. It is an old theater, so there is a balcony section, the seating is a little tighter than newer recliner type seating in some places. The place isn't huge, so even in the back you have the feeling of closeness.

The Playhouse Theatre is so gorgeous & exciting. The programs offered are so impressive. Instead of traveling to Philly or Baltimore for a show, try the Playhouse. The venue is convenient & comparatively easy to get to, the shows are fabulous.
