This was so fun! I loved the audience interaction and actor's connection were perfect. It takes a lot of talent for the actors to keep up their story and connect with the audience, remembering names and conversations too. The staff was friendly and we never had an empty glass. Definitely worth it!

Amazingly fun entertaining place. They’ve redecorated since the last time I went and it’s beautiful. Good food, great drinks and desserts. So funny! And the music is so fun! Bathrooms are clean and prices aren’t bad. Definitely the place to go for lighthearted fun!

Such a fun experience! Took our cast and crew of the current show we are working on as a learning experience. They always have a fun drink special for each show, and it's super interactive. The cast is always so good! They even let us take a group picture on stage!

Hilarious show, decent food. Wait staff was kind and attentive, but only 1 free refill per soft drink stuck me as kinda cheap of the venue considering the price of tickets. Wouldn't stop me from coming back, but would have been nice to know upfront! Very talented actors! A good time!

Very good shows and food. We went to the Halloween show in October 2021. The show was great and lots of fun. Now we are at the Christmas show. Great food and show. Fun for the whole family. Gets the audience involved with oohs and awesome, boos for the bad guys.

My sister and I came to Wichita for a girls' weekend and Mosley Street Melodrama was suggested as something fun to do. It did not disappoint. We had such a wonderful time! It was the opening weekend for the show, Petey's Playhouse and the As Seen on TV Musical Review (hopefully I have the name right). The 6-member ensemble who performed was spectacular and funny, so, so funny! We laughed so much and really enjoyed the audience participation. I would be remiss if I didn't at least mention the dinner service, which was also really enjoyable (BBQ catered by Pig In Pig Out). The wait staff was excellent and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Easy to find, public garage parking right across the street, good food, good fun, what more could you ask for? Go and support live local theater! You will not be disappointed.

My 1st time at mosley st. Melodrama. And it was such a blast. I haven't laughed as hard as I did in YEARS. the food was so Good. Our waitress was so so so good. She was kind, knowledgeable, polite, friendly, all of the things you want in a waitress, she was it. We had a fishbowl drink that were on sale. We wanted something different in our fish bowl. And she made it happen without the price changing. She is amazing.

We came into town overnight to celebrate a special birthday. We stayed at the Marriot across the street overnight with free parking. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and delightful live performance within walking distance. It was a jewel of an experience. We plan to make it a yearly trip. The show this afternoon was completely devoid of taste, class and sophistication. Furthermore, plot and character development were non-existent leaving only bawdy humor and crude innuendo standing in their stead. In summation: great job, I left with a smile plastered on my face. I hope I can make it to the next one! Update: Dancing in the Moonlight. I love the song, and I loved your performance of it. Update 11/3/22: my main review of your melodrama really hits the nail on the head - I really can't find a more insulting way to compliment the play, but I want to say that your musical reviews have been *killing it* recently. It's to the point I'm not sure which part I like better: the puerile drivel up front or the stunning exhibition of talent that you drive it home with.

Wonderful Little Theater packed away in Wichita. My girlfriend and I went and saw."Halloween, the melodrama and was rolling laughing! It was an excellent show! They even included the wait staff and the audience in the show. They have pretty good food and drinks too! Highly recommend!

It was a lot of fun, dinner and show was great.. It would be nice to know the extra charges for soda refills, ect... I requested a cup of hot water, had 2 cups we were charged 2.50 each for that. Won't stop us from coming back but that was not what we expected, being charged for a cup of hot water

Always a fun time, been going for 15 years and never disappointed! You can do dinner & show or just the show. Usually packed & now with less seating definitely need to make reservations. Great adult oriented slapstick comedy with some of the very funniest local actors & actresses around!

We had so much fun at the show last night! The melodrama was outstanding and hilarious and the music medley was both funny and entertaining. The performers were amazing with their talented singing and acting. WOW! My only regret is that I haven't gone here sooner. I highly recommend for an outing with friends, a date night, or even a company event!

We love going here. The show is always fantastic. The actors have fun on stage (which is infectious), interact with the crowd without being "too much", and they improv as needed. The dinner is always BBQ (which is tasty I have no complaints!). The staff has always been incredibly friendly and fast to bring drinks. Oh, and they have popcorn at the tables to snack on. It's an A in my book. :)

Fun melodrama, well performed though a tad long, and a nice musical olio with talented, nuanced singers paying homage to the movies! We could shorten the Richard Simmons bit as it grew tedious. A bit of confusion on the service side, often erratic and uninformed, but Brandon rose to the challenge and corrected most issues quickly and professionally... Not a fan of the melodrama genre as a rule, but I had a swell time. One note: Diction! Accents are fine, but clear words are more important.

Recently my mother was in town and we made it to a later show; although hilarious we definitely weren't expecting what we got into!

(this will be a review of the establishment, not the show.) Four friends and I went to Mosley for the Scooby-Doo show. This was my first time here, and it was such a cute, quaint place. Dinner was good, the wait staff we're helpful and attentive, and all around awesome. The only complaint I would have about this place is how tiny the tables are in the way back. Four people eating with plates and water & wine glasses, made for a very crowded dinner experience. Other than that, it was a very pleasant experience, and I definitely would go back!

We were skeptical at first, not knowing what to expect. The performance exceeded all our expectations. They were funny and interactive. Not perfect, but they make it seem as though the mistakes are intentional. Performers are able to flow smoothly throughout the night and keep the customers ' engagement. Place was small, but cozy. You felt connected and valued by the all the staff. Food provided was catered BBQ. We were able to satisfy our appetites adequately.

Good food, great service, and wonderful entertainment. If you're looking for something outside the ordinary to do in Wichita, this place is a real gem. The salad served with dinner was a bit generic, but the meat (pulled pork, chicken, and brisket) and sides (green beans and potato casserole) were delicious. Their selection of beers was minimal, but they had all the basics on tap (Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Amber Bock, Blue Moon) plus a few others in bottles and a decent selection of wines and cocktails. Each member of the wait staff appeared to be responsible for a number of tables, but our server did very well checking on us periodically to refill drinks and ensure we were doing alright. I'm no drama critic, so I won't speak to the "quality" of the performance, but I thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Overall, it was an extremely enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend stopping in for dinner and a show some time.

You have to realize this is not a "play" like on Broadway. Here you will see something more akin to Saturday Night Live or Second City. We had a great time and laughed a lot. I would give 5 stars except the food is not outstanding. Its just fine but not 5 star food. The service was great and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone but you have to have the correct expectations.

We went to the Christmas show and loved it! Dinner was salad, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, with choice of smoked turkey, beef, and pork, or enjoy all three. The show was funny and the music was wonderful! Be ready to laugh at the "top ten!"

It's a small intimate theater experience. We did the dinner and a show. They served Pig in and Pig Out BBQ which was amazing! Popcorn at your table all night. The wait staff was really nice, totally on top of things and a complete delight. The show was soooo much fun!! We were laughing all night!!! Everything about Mosley Street Melodrama is great!! It is places like this that really make me enjoy theater. Every single aspect of Harry Squatter and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day was fantastic! The production and cast itself were hilarious, and the audience participation gives it a very fun and friendly atmosphere. Also, the food was great and the wait staff was super friendly throughout the entire evening. I will definitely be coming back soon!!

If you like live performances then this is a good place to visit. There are two things to mention about seating. Some of the seats are difficult to see the stage. The other thing is the seating itself is very uncomfortable over time as they are the cheap stackable padded seating type chairs. Overall they work well with the limited space they have available.

My parents took me on Friday night for my 41st birthday, urban cowboy was my favorite movie as a child so they took me to see suburban cowboy.. Everyone was friendly. Dinner was delicious. The mixed drinks were very tasty. The actors and actresses of the play we're very interactive with the audience. We went to see the Halloween special. This was our first time in dinner theater. The food surprised me because it was more like a Sunday church buffet, but the food was okay. People brought around drinks to order, but don't expect it to be like a restaurant. The cast was friendly, and funny, and very interactive with the audience. I was even pulled on stage which was a little weird, but alright. It is not my favorite thing to do, but there are some real die hard fans, and I like that this cultural option is still available. Would be great to expose my older kids too. (Sometimes the content was a bit over the top for little ones.) Great first time experience.

(Catered Barbeque from Pig In Pig Out) The play was quite funny, but the singing part afterwards was even better. I've been to 4 different shows here and each one was jammed packed with comedy and music, yet drastically different from one to another. The food served is good and so are the drinks. We celebrated my oldest daughters 50th birthday had a really good time, with the exception of a few seating arrangements thru no fault of the mosley street melodrama, we all experienced great time my grandson now wants to have his birthday party there. He said "I've never laughed at anything so much in his life. I told him thats because only 15 years old he's never known about such places. Best entertainment in Wichita, as far as I am concerned. Comes with a simple BBQ dinner catered by one of the local establishments. There are two shows included. The first part is a short play written and performed by local artists, all of whom are very loveable and talented. The second part (post-intermission) is kind of a musical/comedy revue, and it a riot. Lots of improv throughout. Very good comedy, though certainly a little edgy (as a warning for those who are young or conservative/stuffy). I have been to a number of shows and go as often as I can.
