Traditionally, when I write reviews, they tend to be lengthy and detailed. However, I won't do that in this case because I don't really think it's necessary. As you'll see from the 45 pictures I uploaded in the photo section (not in this review section) you will see that this place is actually quite beautiful and remarkable. The seats are very comfortable and cushy, and the stage is fairly large! I was there for a production of Tennessee Williams's Cat on a Hot Tin Roof as performed by Kirkwood Theatre Guild. Overall, I enjoyed the full experience. From the photos I uploaded, you'll also see that the men's restroom was pretty immaculate! I honestly wouldn't expect anything less for a facility and building that is so new. Everything was pristine. I'm confident that if you ever decide to see a show there, whether it's with Kirkwood Theatre Guild or stages or some other professional production, I'm sure you will enjoy your time there. My five star rating is solely based on the aesthetic of the building, the interior of the decorating and the stage itself, and the overall cleanliness both inside and out.

My wife and I went here on a Saturday night to watch a performance by the St Louis ballet. It is a really nice venue. The staff was friendly the seats were comfortable, and we weren't crammed together like a lot of other places. The only negative was the parking. Get here early if you want an easy parking place. The parking lot here only has enough room for maybe 1/3 of the audience.

Very nice theater and stage. My only complaint would be if you plan to sit in the first few rows, you need to be tall. I'm 6,0, sat in the first row, and part of my view was blocked by the speakers on the stage. It was my first time there and I wanted to see Karate Kid up close. Beautiful place and in a great location.

Last week was my first time watching a performance at KPAC. I found that it was very easy to park, and the staff was very kind. The seat is wider than any other seat of any opera house I've been in my life, which is great because it allows for more privacy / distance from the person sitting by your side. The acoustic is very good too, and the opera was wonderful. Overall, a five-star experience.

My wife and I attended a performance of A Chorus Line. We love the new theater. Even near the front of the balcony, we felt close to the stage, and had a wonderful time.

I can't say enough about this venue!! It's beautiful, the staff is top notch! I hope I get to play here again sometime soon. I will def be back for some of their theater events as well!

It is a beautiful theater with an interesting seating plan. There doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. The lobby is very elegant.

The seat was comfortable. The temperature was just right. I was seated 3 seats from the wall on the left, so, I couldn't see all of the stage but I was pretty good.

I recently took a group of seniors on a tour of the kpac and I couldn’t believe how amazing our guide was! He was animated with the residents … had them laughing , smiling and asking questions but was so knowledgeable , informative , and explained in detail the purpose for it being there or it’s significance of why it was on display. I also would like to mention the attention to details… the hidden K or the railroad tracks ….as the city of Kirkwood is a railroad town . Not only did we learn a lot but when we returned to our community , the residents couldn’t stop talking about how much they learned that day even though they had attended shows such as STAGES or KTG or lived in Kirkwood for years. I as their leader went back and said …. You do not have to be a theatre buff but it is well worth your time just to go on the tour as he was that good! So hats off to you …. And to the Kirkwood community…. You hired the perfect person to be the spokesperson for your venue. I appreciated your efforts that day as you went above and beyond in making our residents feel valued .

The center is beautiful and the stage was great. The seats are a little small for a plus size person. It is very intimate which made the opera very enjoyable. There is also a screen above the stage for subtitles which was helpful and yet blended well with everything around it.

My first visit here to this "new" venue. Easy to get to. Nearby free parking. Accessible restrooms on both levels. Excellent sight lines and good acoustics in an intimate setting. (I was in the balcony.) I saw Winter Opera's "Madame Butterfly". Excellent job for a small company. I was impressed with principal singers. Enjoyed the event.

Watched the performance of Forever, Patsy Cline last night. It was perfection! Amazing vocals, acting and live music. The new theater is very nice... larger than the original theater without losing the intimacy! All Stages performances are exceptional and professional. Impressed as usual.

As former patrons of Stages at the old theater we found their new home to be equally enjoyable. Like the old place, with their stadium seating and slightly larger theater there's still not a bad seat in the house. The acoustics are excellent. Get there early and you can park in the lot adjacent to the theater.

This theater is truly beautiful , the seating was good and staff was wonderful.We enjoyed the Karate Kid it was a fun production colorful and actors did a great job singing and dancing, it was great to be out and made to smile and feel good.

Went to see Jersey Boys tonight in this brand new beautiful theater !! It was quite the Broadway Quality Show !! Such the Talent ... top to bottom !! I can't wait to see what the future holds at Stages St. Louis !!

"Always Patsy Cline" is a great show, and Stages did a fantastic job presenting it. Be forewarned, however, that the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center has a Taliban-style mask policy that far exceeds St. Louis County guidelines and even common sense. For example, masks are required for those sitting down in their seats, facing forward -- not even moving around. The night I was there, a man was "masked shamed" by "Louise" in the middle of a scene, in front of the entire house because he had taken off his mask -- and he was sitting in the front row at least 20 feet from the actors! (BTW, the actors smoked on stage and weren't wearing masks.) Really distracted from the show and was uncalled for, even if the actor thought she was being righteous. Being "right" doesn't condone being rude and embarrassing a patron who had probably paid good money for that front row seat.

The very hungry caterpillar production was awesome, just wish there could have been shade covering for those $100+ pods (a tarp spread out for guess to sit or lay on- no chairs allowed). The girls enjoyed themselves, while the little boy was fighting fatigue from the sun(my little busy body had no energy just laid there and watched). I'll be glad when the inside opens back up.

Went to an outdoor showing of the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Impressed by the COVID precautions and safe practices. But more impressed by the show. Wonderful puppetry, great performances, and the kids were delighted and captivated.

OMG. Outstanding venue, can't wait for the show season! Our daughter was here for a silks n cirque ariel training event with ON THE FLY and as a former theatrical assistant thos joint was done right!! Get your tickets early, get them often! (Yes that is my just turned 5yo, up on the fly rig!)
