Reviews of West of Lenin
West of Lenin is such a special place. I attended a play, which was fantastic. But this facility felt like a secret playhouse. The building is unassuming but close by great bars and restaurants. The staff were all very friendly. Nice snacks at intermission too. And if you didn't buy a ticket in advance, they will try to fit you in at the door. Tickets are reasonable and support the community. There is also sometimes weekday discounts, so check on the website.
Lovely energy in the cast. Acting and script was just ok but the cast energy carried the day.
This place is a national treasure! It's a little further west of Lenin than you always think, but well worth the walk. C'mon, the weather's really nice!
Cool little indie theatre in Fremont. I've seen some great productions here, and some downright terrible ones. It's a great place to see up and coming voices and to support the local arts community.
I saw "Twin Peaks Live 3" (an original, locally written piece) at West of Lenin, it was great. The theatre is very nice, concessions has good choices, and the people running it are courteous.
An intimate and cozy venue. An amazing variety of performances! Great staff! Awesome location. Close to so many wonderful bars and restaurants.
Saw a film screening here. Great space, great concessions, great people. Looking forward to going to a theater performance here soon!
Saw an improv comedy show through jet city. Funny show! Nice clean place.
Great theatre spaces for rent with a very nice, helpful staff. It was a great place to hold my auditions.
Several small performance spaces just west of the heart of Fremont. What makes it particularly great is the quality of productions that it attracts.
