Reviews of Glenn Hughes Penthouse Theatre

Enjoyed the theater layout, have never attended a performance where the audience sat all the way around the stage. Led to a much more immersive experience.
Audio and choreography was also especially well done.

Good space. Not too cramped but no greenroom, just wardrobe areas. Restrooms are kinda a free for all based on what I can see. Next rehearsal I'll be bringing bathroom cleaning supplies (unscented of course)

We've supported the UW School of Drama productions for years and always find them to be first rate. The Penthouse Theater is an intimate setting in the round. Parking is convenient and free for the weekend performances.

Saw a wonderfully hilarious performance of Moliere's Learned Ladies at the Playhouse. A theater I had not been at since I was a student at UW 40 years ago. A beautiful Art Deco, in-the-round, theater to which the performers took full advantage.
Gentleman Otaku
Unique theater in the round with a small capacity. As a result, it's a very immersive sense, with a fly on the wall perspective that really shines during dialog.

The a/c for the theater needs improvement. The evening wasn't terribly warm, but the theater was quite warm.
Hassan Abou-Ghalia
Attended a show for UW drama. Awesome place and performance

Pleasant and initiate theatre in the round on UW campus.
Connor Tee
In the round, which is super cool. Kinda small.

Quiet and empty.

A tasteful place like an old drama center
