Every visit and performance has touched and engaged me. So many original performances, always well set and acted. Love the flexible approach they take to the space and how to best connect with the audience. (Photo below as audience arrived for a final and snowday performance of We've Battled Monsters.)

Been to many shows here and participated in summer theater camp when I was a kid. Masks are a requirement on and off.

Arts west is a wonderful community theatre. The plays are thoughtful and relevant to todays world. Comfortable small space and nice wall for art. They have been very respectful of all to require vaccination and masks during Covid.
Debra Morrison
Wonderful intimate venue, and a great show.
Stephen Matlock
I'm never disappointed in their shows. Peter and the Star Catcher (2017), for example, was great.
But I was blown away by the caliber of the show tonight. Jane Eyre exceeded my expectations so much that I still can't believe I was there to see it. The actors were perfectly cast, and they all had incredible singing voices.
This venue should be much more well known than it is.
Excellent work by an excellent team.

This little Theater packs a big punch. Always great productions in an intimate setting. Steeled ourselves for the tragedy that is Jane Eyre only to find an excellent and true to story musical. I have enjoyed every show I've seen here.

Just go! Arts West is a jewel in Seattle's crown. Intimate theaters staging challenging plays with excellent productions are something to savor and support. I suggest attending the Preview show and the closing show. It's fascinating to see how the performance changes over the weeks. And you can literally sit 3 feet from the actors. I feel so fortunate to have this place here (and this is a totally unbiased review. I don't work there.)

Small venue, which allows an intimate connection between the players and the audience. There is not a bad seat in the house.
Judging from the two performances I have seen, the quality of the work meets the standard for a larger theater. I consider this neighborhood theater to be a destination art house for the entire region.

We only started coming here recently, after 10 years of living in West Seattle. It's a small, intimate theatre, but the shows you see here are incredibly diverse and challenging. They have a great season-ticket program, and really value the local arts community.

I am a season ticket holder and have been incredibly impressed by the quality of the programming and productions at ArtsWest over the past two seasons. I have been a season ticket holder with the REP and with The Paramount and 5th Avenue theaters and ArtsWest offers comparable quality with so much more intimacy its amazing. After every show I find myself telling my friends and colleagues that "this one was the best yet!" I plan on being a subscriber for many years to come.

Best venue in Seattle. Each season is tied together with a single theme, both musicals and "straight" plays; comedy, drama (often simultaneously), classics, new; always provocative, always entertaining. Staging always top notch, acting always exquisite. Can't say enough about the quality of performance.

Lovely community theater with a cosy auditorium and excellent gallery space. Great place to support local arts!

Came here for an evening show, the ticketing process and website were fairly easy to navigate. The venue itself is small and intimate with seating designed on all four sides of the stage. Parking was easy to find on nearby side streets and overall I would recommend!

Sw Sweeney Todd 6/2017. The theater is really nice. Pretty good wine and they serve cocktails! It was fun to get there early, get a liberation and look at the artwork hanging on the walls. Nice place to catch a show! I'll be back!

This is a small venue, the perfect size to see, feel, and experience the plays featured here. There are no bad seats. It's a really great place for teenagers interested in the arts, to see a play.
Mike Kelley
The play, the actresses and actors were amazing. The venue was fantastic. The location is better than downtown.... In my most humble opinion.

Great performance space that features local performers. The quality of the productions range from excellent to good. It's a great spot to stop in to try a smaller production, which can really draw the audience into a performance.
Peter Morrison
Surpassed expectations, the cast was fantastic! The set design reached out into the audience, and the use of simple flowing prop movements made the scene changes seem effortless.
Christopher James
Great local theater in the heart of West Seattle. Diverse and provocative plays in an intimate setting. Many good places to eat/drink nearby for a pre/post theater meal/drink.

I saw Death of a salesman here, and I was blown away by the quality of the production, especially the performances. I would definitely go back here the next time I'm in town. Intimate small local theater.

Fantastic theatre. Every seat is a good seat and I've yet to see a performance that wasn't beautifully done. Art Gallery is a bonus!
