Saw The Lost Boys Live. I very much recommend this show, it was a ton of fun. The Siren Theater is a great venue with a solid vibe. I did not expect seats to be assigned, which was a nice bonus. Bathroom is outside, behind a caged door with a code then a bit of a journey upstairs to find. The bar had a solid selection of canned drinks and snacks.

I saw The Lost Boys parody stage show here. It was fantastic! The venue itself is nice, with the exception that you have to go outside to get to the restrooms.
Also, put on your nice clothing if you go here. Definitely a little more of a dressy affair.

Really enjoyed seeing SPEECHLESS at The Siren, an improv PowerPoint competition that was HILARIOUS! A lot of reviews lament the parking situation but there's a parking lot close by. Really appreciated that the seating was sturdy chairs instead of bucket seats like most theatres have, made it much more comfortable. A bar at the back served beer, cider, white claws, sodas, and snacks.

Cute venue. Upstairs to the restroom 😂 smells but old buildings with charm. The events hosted here are awesome. The bar area has snacks ($3 for candy) and beer/wine. …

We went out to "that chain comedy club" last night and after writing their less than stellar review I decided The Siren needed a shout out. This place was great! The comedy show was awesome, you sit where you want to, no constant interruptions, the sound system was top notch, overall just a really fun night out. We will be back! Compared to the other place The Siren is a 10 star venue in my opinion, even with the cons. Cons: parking if you drive, neighborhood can be a bit rough although much better than we expected, and the bathroom situation is a bit funky.

Lost Boys was amazing! Everything this troop does is hysterical, thoughtful and a total hoot!
Carissa Fitzgerald
My husband and I love the Siren! It's such an intimate venue, that any show or event you attend has a sort of charm you just can't fake. The owner is incredibly nice too
Timothy Nishimoto
We have seen several shows here, and always have a great time! The size is perfect for sketch comedies because you always feel like you're a part of the show. The Aces should have their own network television show!!! Please???
Janice Wenrich
Small, inconspicuous, very casual venue. Always enjoyed the shows I've gone to but be sure to check out the ratings before you go. Most are G or PG-13 and are comedy's. Bar selling beer wine and sake. Friendly staff and actors.
Janet Bardossi
Great venue....Shelley is gracious, funny and welcoming as the manager. I have been to a number of shows and found them hilarious. A perfect Portland gem!

Interesting older theater, not in the best area of town after dark, but the architecture is nice. No air conditioning to speak of. Was a pretty small venue. Parking nearby can be a problem.

Came here to see Road House: The Play! The venue is a great old building with wide open seating and good sight lines. The group who made this theater space happen have done a great job on making it a welcoming and open venue that should be great for many performances to come.
The neighborhood is Old Town with any sketchiness that may imply to you if you know the area. I've never had trouble but some have. There is brand-new bike parking tracks immediately in front of the entrance and I locked mine up without worry.

LOVE THIS PLACE! It's not like an upscale theater, it's a place where people go who LOVE local theater. We've seen several performances here (Nacho Gold, Road House, Nightmare on Elm St and more) and will keep coming back for more.

What a delightful little theater, so unassuming from the outside. And the maze to get to the bathrooms during intermission was fun, following arrows along multiple hallways, up and down stairs, and around corners, listening to voices through walls, wondering if it were all an elaborate prank 😊 …

Great comedy venue! You get to be up close and personal with the talent.
Derek
Quirky lil place to see a comedy show. One downside, you better use the bathroom before you go. The bathrooms for this place are difficult to get to several flights of stairs away from the theater.
Greg
Loved this place! We saw A Nightmare on Elm Street followed by Dreadful Dreams. Both were highly entertaining and well worth the money! The cafe at the hotel next door is cozy, too.
Janet Grant
Live sketch comedy. So fun, interactive, and not too big so didn’t have to wait forever in line.
James Morales (JM-A!)
Great place for underground comedy. Very funny and diverse group! There was a little noise pollution coming from the club downstairs, but besides that it was a very welcoming and hilarious place.
MallSoft 95
Great theater with great shows. Seating is a little awkward but once the show starts I seem to forget that's even a thing. Would definitely recommend it as a venue.

Go support local comedy, it's cheaper and more fun than the other clubs and you'll be contributing to young careers in a great venue. I've heard their classes are some of the best in town as well!
Garrett Stone
This was such a pleasant, cozy place to see a show. They had a lovely selection of ciders, some snacks for those that needed it, and I had a great time.
Tyler Hoyt
Great venue, amazing talent! Laughed so hard my stomach hurt for three days
Jacob Kelley (Cake Jelly)
Had a very homey feel and the talent was amazing. There was a guy who tried to sell me drugs on the street nearby but he was actually nice and didn't pressure me when I declined.
Nic Gerbase
Performances were great. Venue was clean and well maintained. Drinks were reasonable priced. Only complaint is the cheap uncomfortable chairs.
Rohit Popat
Fun times with random PowerPoint slides! If you've ever given a PowerPoint presentation, you might feel that it's freeing to see others just 'wing it'!:)
E Parnon
Interesting venue for edgy comedy - doesn't always get but worth trying. Beware of sketchy neigh or good and leave with others when the show is over.
Sm Mm
Small theater, good show every now and then, but good luck finding the men restroom it's like you are in a human maze.
Riley Berger
Tiny little venue that's easy to miss in the Old Town // Chinatown neighborhood. It's a great use of the space, and it's super chill.
Fraser Barnes
The outside is a little bit creepy, but it is a wonderful place. It is very cozy with a very good stage.
Amy Collins
Strange seating in an old building. I like the location but it feels brightly lit and sort of odd. The comedy was alright
Mezmon
One of the most amazing comedy experiences in Portland hands down! Went to see The Aces. Look em up!!

Beautiful, intimate theater hosting dinner if the greatest comedy in town.

Dingy and small, old and musty. Parking is a nightmare. Not a good place for an event.
