Reviews of Mesa Amphitheatre
Have seen a couple shows here including Russ and G-Easy. Great experience both times. No matter where you are is great view of the stage. Sound was crisp and loud. Gates opened on time and show proceeded as planned. Concession and drink lines moved fast but had limited options. If this venue could do music past 10pm it would be the place to be every night/weekend. Hopefully more artist start performing here. Great midsize venue with occupancy near 5,000
Great venue with grass seating. If you miss grass and love an open air venue you'll love this place. Lines moved fast for food and drinks. Entry took minutes to get through and they were very thorough. I highly recommend attendees and event organizers to use this for medium to large venues.
Nice venue for live music. July/August isn't a great time for a show but there is decent shade at 6pm. They allowed sealed water bottles which was nice. No blankets, no chairs allowed.
My girlfriend bought us tickets to see Russ and my guy killed it! We knew almost every song and we stayed at the hotel adjacent to the amphitheater. It was so easy to walk to the show and grab a bite to eat before the music began.
We had a great time. The venue and it's restrooms were clean and the concession stands were efficient. The general seating area is wide and allowed us to feel like we had our own space. The only downside was the show was forced to end at 10:00 pm due to Mesa's city noise ordinance. It was a bit odd having such a large police presence for such a mellow gathering, but it was explained by the headlining performer (briefly), the police were there to make sure things wrapped up in a timely manner. Would have loved for the show to go on 🙂
What a great place to have a graduation! I bright my yoga mat and my 9 year old and I watched my oldest two sons walk across the stage and graduate❤️ 👨🏽🎓👨🏽🎓❤️! 🎊Congratulations class of 2022🎊 …
This is a great venue. We like the size a lot. We've been to Ak-Chin in the Phx area and Ava in Tucson & this is similar but this place is much smaller so it feels a bit more intimate. There's really no bad seat in the place plus there's a huge space up front if you'd rather stand. Acoustics are great as well, all the music sounded clear and undistorted. Probably our only complaint is it seems as though they cut down 2 fairly large trees so there's very little shade AND IT'S MESA WHERE 110° IN THE SUMMER IS A COLD SPELL! IDK what the story was with those trees: struck by lighting, disease or what but I hope they figure out another source of shade quickly.
Love this venue. Always a good time and plenty of room to spread out, get comfy and enjoy your favorite music!
Great night watching Young The Giant on Saturday. Mesa did a phenomenal job of celebrating the "re-opening" of downtown Mesa.
Getting into the venue was hectic and disorganized but once in everything was great. Acoustics, staffing levels, service, and atmosphere were excellent.
Well done, Mesa 🤝
There's seating sort of built in to the hill, behind the standing-room area where all the serious concert-goers went. The acoustics were great and overall it was an awesome concert (LANY). Got a bit of rain but it was still worth it
Pretty much either you sit to the left or right you'll still hear the music really good. No matter how far back you sit.
This has been a great place to see a concert for many years!
The sound and lighting were awesome and there were plenty of vendors so you don't have to wait in line forever for a drink or snack.
The Nachos and Pretzel 🥨 with cheese were very tasty. Much better than I expected.
Customer service award goes to Tanner!!!
I am going to a concert this evening and had a panic attack trying to find my tickets apparently the email with my tickets and it was accidentally deleted and I could not find my tickets anywhere I called and he let me know that my tickets were still available he looked me up by my name and address and everything and found my tickets for me thank you so much for your help and being so patient and understanding! I cannot wait to go to the concert tonight I have been going to this venue for years and it is always a great venue I am just so happy with the customer service that I received today and because of that I will continue to use this venue for future years to come 😄
Flogging Molly & Violent Femmes - great combo of bands and venue. Sitting on the grass and watching a concert is a great way to spend an evening. Sound was great and the facilities have held well over the years. I remember coming here in the 80’s and brought back many a memory.
Great outdoor venue. Saw Offspring, Bad Religion, and Penny wise there a while back. There are no real nosebleed seats. Bathrooms are bright and clean.
Best place to see a concert in mesa for sure
No line to get in when I got there, however the merch line was so long nonstop had to wait a whole bands set to get merch. Portapotties had no toilet paper, restrooms lines nonstop as well. The food ad beer lines were long but kept up with the crowd. Lost my friend in the pits, when I was by the side of the stage looking for her first time was fine, then another guy came up and started yelling at me to move. Even after explaining I was lost looking for my friend with no phone at the time. Threatening to kick me out if I didn't move
A decent venue, sound is pretty good for an outdoor arena. I wouldn't buy tickets at this location again unless its a good band that never tours through phoenix. Other than having to park on the surrounding city street it was easy to get in and out of the amphitheater. The staff was friendly which made it a good night. Smashing Pumpkins put on a good show!
Great parking. Easy access. Great setup for bathrooms and concessions. Sad that no music on Saturday after 10 pm. Also strange no blankets allowed.
Great outdoor venue with general admission standing/sitting areas. Bass was a bit loud close to the stage, but if that is what you like it adds to the experience.
Fun venue and has some good acts. The all general admission, tiered grass seating is comfortable and makes the performance easy to see.
Would have thought it was the first time most of the food and drink vendors have ever sold there - a disorganized mess.
If you arrive early or the event isn't crowded, parking isn't a big deal. If the event is popular or don't arrive before the gates open, parking is difficult - you'll probably end up in a nearby neighborhood.
Sound was OK, but for a professional music venue, they could do a lot better. Investment in upgrading the sound system would go a long way.
Awesome Concert of Flogging Molly & Violent Femmes. Great outdoor environment. Very nice and easy to relax.
There is no venue like the Mesa Amp in the state. The enviroment makes you feel like you’re in a movie like the sandlot or ferris bueller. The grass lawn and the trees take you out of the desert for a moment. And it’s impossible to not feel a reckless sense of youthfulness.
Nice outdoor theater. Grassy areas to sit away from people. Mesa was extremely hot, bring water! Parking was not bad at all! We arrived 30 mimutes before gates opened and were able to find a spot no problem.
Really fantastic venue. The grass can get a little steep so wear comfortable shoes. For the venue: There was confusion at tee shirt sales. This could have been avoided with larger signs that should have been allowed to be completely back-lit, not taped to the wood as high. The photo here is the long line of people missing the Violent Femmes set because of the poor signage.
Great outdoor venue, comfortable tiered lawn seating, get there early if you want to park in a lot rather than have to park on the street and walk a few blocks.
Great venue and very cozy for an outdoor concert. They definitely need to improve the food/drink options and line management, but i will be for sure coming back to catch more shows in the future.
The Mesa amphitheater overall is such a cool place for a concert. At 1st it seems kind of small but once people start flooding in you realize that this place can house thousands of people. In the arena on each side they have places where you can buy a food, drinks, and alcohol. You will need a band to buy alcohol though. Your more than able to walk around and move to different places in the arena. My only grip with the place is that they have real grass that can make it extremely humid during hot days, and also attract tons of bugs like mosquitoes. Pro tip you must have clear bags and/or clear empty bottles to enter the place!! Parking can be a joke if your late so plan ahead!
The place was so neat and green, and open, and the grass is very rich and lively the only bad thing was the ants there are a little plentiful you will get a couple bites, and I guess this is just the worst part of the summer, with all the rain and stuff. but we went and saw Cypress Hill and Atmosphere and it was amazing👏👏👏 and the cold water at the water fountain is a great touch 👍 because as usual, drinks are around 8-13$
Great venue. Great sound. Not a bad seat in the house. The 10 o'clock hard curfew is abrasive. $ 5.50 for a bottle of water is robbery.
Really cool venue. Parking can be hard at times to find a space, and drinks are pricey.
I visited the Amphitheater for an O.A.R concert. Excellent acoustics. You cannot bring in anything unless it's in a clear bag. No blanket, food or drinks other than water. I had travelled from out of state for the concert and didn't know what to expect. I wore jeans since seating is on the ground and it's Arizona. Dumb move since it was 108 at night! There's a lovely set of lawn covered tiers. No need for lawn chairs. Concessions are the usual crazy prices.
Overall the venue is good- the grass really helps keep you cooler than cement and adds a nice touch to desert life. But when we went only one set of bathrooms were open and 3 beer lines. Hard to understand how this is possible for a packed concert with a few thousand people.
Love this venue! You get a good view wherever you are, and even the back seats are pretty close to the stage!
Had a great time. No problems at all.
Great venue for great shows! Dirty Heads was amazing Slightly Stoopid and Pepper were fun too.
Went to a dirty heads concert n had a great time
Good sound, nice sloped grass areas to sit as well as grass steps, as always there should be more women's bathrooms than men's because during busy times there's always a wait. They also allow smoking which really dims the experience for those of who don't, really hard to get away from it.
Took my daughter to her first concert here. We loved the atmosphere. Lines went quickly. Sound was great.
Great venue. Easy to see the stage from anywhere.
The best place for a concert. Nice green grass to sit on and no mosquitoes. I've been attending concerts at Mesa amphitheater for probably 30 years.
Great outdoor venue. Ample restrooms. Soundstaging is really good. Lots of vendors for beer so the lines are not too bad.
No seating but any where u stand was a great experience and can still see the stage at any where on the grass.
What a great 4th July. Just need more to do there.
saw Gary Allan tonite & was impressed with the layout. The acoustics sounded great & the concert itself was awesome. def exceeded everything i was expecting from an older outdoor venue
Amazing event! Had so much fun, groovy location
Went here to see The Smashing Pumpkins and the place gives back so much nostalgia of days long who in younger years spending time watching concerts at this very location! I still love it! Great place to see a show as there are only 4950 people allowed! It’s a great place with a lot of great bands that play here!
Classic old school AZ venue in DT Mesa. The early curfew is pretty crazy though. Saturday night show ended at 9:45 pm- way too early
We went for the fireworks on July 4th, but there were several other activities that the city of Mesa put on for the celebration. I didn't care for the band, but there was a small car show, a presentation about historical flags of the United States, a food court and laser light show, among others. The fireworks were the best show I've seen in quite a while. All in all, a very pleasant way to celebrate July 4th.
Mesa Amp is one of the best venues I've ever been to. I love the outside stage!
Went to see Playboi Carti, Ken Carson, and Rico nasty last year in november.
If there weren't technical difficulties it would be a five stars. Very nice venue and nice people. I think thats just most of AZ though. Rock Out 🙌 …
The grass was green and soft, much more comfortable to sit on than most stadium seating. Beers were $12 - $14 but they were big 32oz cans and a great value for an event venue. It was my first time at Mesa amphitheater and I can't wait for another visit.
Ooh-wee-ooh, I look just like Buddy Holly
Oh oh, and you're Mary Tyler Moore
I don't care what they say about us anyway
I don't care 'bout that
Always an amazing venue for shows.
One of the best concert venues in Phoenix. Great audio quality, wonderful layout affording good vantage points from all around a sloped green and concrete steps to sit on further back.
Entering was a breeze too. Ample security personnel to handle the crowd. Mind you it wasn't too crowded. Not even COVID crowded.
Great venue! Definitely favorite place to see a concert in Az
Weather was great, go early if you don't want to sit on the hill.
Very cool outdoor amphitheater! Wear closed toe shoes because there are some steep grass areas.
This is an awesome venue. Open air and friendly staff to help expedite entry or provide concessions. Clean bathrooms and facilities also, so that is definitely a plus. Always a great variety of bands coming through, so there is sure to be something you'll enjoy. I've been a few times and look forward to taking my family to see their favorite groups.
Great spot just bring an umbrella or 2 =]
Best venue in the valley for a concert. Staff Very organize, very nice. The acoustics for an outdoor venue is amazing. Very chill atmosphere. Love the Venue wish they had more shows there.
Very nice venue for a concert! Possibly not wheelchair friendly, as there are lots of stairs. Also, only port a potties.
Here for the 311/pepper/the Wailers concert back in 2006. This place was awesome, and still looks exactly the same. Going to a concert with bolted down seats SUCKS! Mesa Amphitheater is where it's at! All lawn is the way to go for any good concert!
Located downtown mesa, food drive today. Thank you to our troops and volunteers.
Not very wheelchair accessible, especially if you want to be near the front. Food lines were ridiculously long, and I didn't see anywhere to get water without purchasing.
The sound was good, but the show was too early and Mesa crowds are pretty square.
Grassy plains mixed with concrete shelters, ones of which we rely on so heavily. This amphitheatre really tells us why we need it, and why it's here. With the large open space inviting you to want to gather, it wants you to experience the scale of the theatre towering over the lush, grassy stairs, leading to the clean, and orderly concrete bathrooms and entrance. A lovely place, I enjoyed my journey here.
Had an absolute blast! Great show staff was strict but respectful, just learn what is ok to bring in and you won't have problems. Buying alcohol is extremely expensive but that is common in Phoenix at venues. Other than preparing to pay 16 dollars a pint there was nothing I didn't enjoy.
Best venue in the east valley
No bad seats in the house
I have been going to events at this amphitheater longer than I want to say! It is a great venue, not too big, not too small. It is a true amphitheater so you can always see the stage. The grass is beautiful and easy on the feet when you want to dance the night away. Concessions feature a good selection of beers and mixed drinks, but they are costly, so be prepared. There is also a decent selection food if you are hungry. My only complaint is there is almost always a good size line for the ladies room. Ladies don't forget there is a 2nd bathroom that seems to be more available than the one at the entrance! Go and have fun!
We saw Slightly Stoopud here on 9-10-21 It was a fantastic venue, it always is. Quaint with great sound not to mention comfortable and it feels like our home field amphitheater. I've seen a lot of shows here over the last 30 years. It never ever disappoints.
It's been about 17 years since I've had last been there. Both times have been a great experience. I went to see the Trinity of Terror tour with MIW, INK and BVB. Truly a great night
Ample space to sprawl out, AMAZING sound and good view in the entire place
Very nice outdoor evening venue, some seating would be great.
This is one of my favorite places to go, to see concerts. It offers amazing sound quality, and a great area to chill and watch some of your favorite bands or groups play. I would highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already.
Lucky enough to live close to this down town Mesa Gem.. great seats are easy to find here.. lucky enough to catch a great concert and ask myself why I don't come here more?
Easy in, easy out. $10 cash only parking is super close to the gate. Drinks are extra PRICEY but aren't they always? Great sound under the stars & home by 11pm 😂 …
I love Mesa Amphitheatre it's one of the greatest venues in the valley and they always have great bands.
Expected levels of business and community service lol with sweet incline for maximum veiwerability Rock and roll
Watched sublime and dirty heads last night. Place was packed!! Clean reastrooms .
Great atmosphere for concerts and plays. Watched the Danzig concert and enjoyed the vibe. Concessions were great and easy to access.
Always a great venue
Parking does take cash only, at least for this event. But I loved the amount of workers present which sped up the lines. Concessions available. Plenty of seating and standing room. Great acoustics.
Great, small venue, intimate setting. I look forward to going to more concerts here!
Smaller than I expected but it's a great venue. parking does get exciting if you aren't early to the venue for your event .
Well laid out and easy parking. Tiered lawn seating is unique and good for sitting or standing. Downtown Mesa is underrated.
Sound system was not great, a bit too directional resulting in distortion when sitting directly in front.
Graduation held there. Glad for cooler than normal temp and breeze since sun went off us just before 7:00 ceremony. Bathrooms newer and clean. Sound good.
Gate opening went from 4:30 to 5 to ~5:30. But once gate was open the security check was quick, noninvasive, and I was in within 5 mins. Clean everything. Cold fountain. Amazing sound and enough room. Def added to the show.
Great sound. Good crowd control.Very entertained by The Bare Naked Ladies.
Have been to several venues here and it's one of the best.
Would give 5 but 14$ a beer!!!!! I felt violated!!
Always great, no covid protocols which was great
Great venue and the Dirty Heads were awesome!
So full disclosure this is a completely biased review lol Just took a date night with the wifey is with the wifey and went to go see The Used and Coheed and Cambria. Totally amazing show so blown away.. The lines for concessions are pretty long but nothing compared to the merch table. Try to leave 5 to 10 min before the last show so that means at least 40 min before 10pm if u want merch. Head out onto center rd and north to mckellips. Turn left at mckellips and center to get on the 202. Trust me fastest way back to phx. Have a good time . If u drink don't drive of u drive don't drink ;) #datenight2021 #theused #coheedandcambria #mesaamphitheater
Great venue for concerts. Love the open vibe
Nice casual place to relax. Saw Henry Rollins speak at the Mesa Music Festival & it was a good venue for him.
By far the best concert venue in the valley. Old school set up, so to the front you go.
Nice open area, alittle less enjoyable during the summer months but this time of year best place to see a show. Also next day work friendly as their shows have to end at 10pm due to city ordinances.
Nice venue however the concessions line was very slow.
Very accommodating staff, my husband has mobility challenges and the staff was right there to assist as needed, allowed him to sit in a chair on the upper lawn level so we could sit with the group we came with. Lawn seating was very comfortable for me. Good view to stage from lawn seats. Will definitely come back.
Seen Dirty heads and Sublime with Rome. This venue is amazing!
Super fun place to see a band. Somehow provides a personal performance space without feeling like an arena or festival.
Last time I was there was around 2005 and it has improved so much since then. Plenty of areas for sitting during the show (if you're in to that), clean facilities, lots of ATMs for the cash only booths, and I think 6 lines for concessions? Saw the Dropkick Murphy's and Flogging Molly. Fantastic show, great experience.
I wish more bands played this venue. Really great location, easy to park.
I absolutely LOVE this venue! It's truly a hidden gem in Mesa, AZ and gives the live music goer an amazing concert experience. Everyone from the box office staff, to the Security team, to the Concession crews are so friendly, helpful and professional. There is NOT a bad seat in the house and the sound is amazing. Mesa Amphitheatre is a MUST for all live music enthusiasts!
This place was awesome! its all outdoor seating. I was lucky enough to have a nice cool night with a nice breeze making it a very comfortable temperature.
This is one of my favorite venues when the weather is nice. Wonderful grassy tiers to relax on and enjoy the music. There aren't as many popular shows here as there used to be, but if a band you like is performing here you should go.
Venue is a great size, anywhere you sit or stand you can see the band you went to see without a view obstruction. Sound is decent, and parking is free if you can find a spot. Make sure to check policies of what your aloud to take in, the concert I went to said only clear bags and no blankets. Staff was friendly and getting into the venue was fast.
Local 10 pm curfew stinks. We have been to early evening concerts when 100 + weather, and was still enjoyable because of grass and shade. All of the facility was very clean. Bathrooms are indoor stadium ones, with additional portables added in the further corner when they have the food and drink tents.
Love this venue. Small and intimate, it makes for a really enjoyable concert experience. I have seen dozens of them here and never been disappointed. Just remember outdoors means rain or shine!
The summer traditions Tour 2022 was Lit. Common Kings! Hawaii in da house
Pleasant open-air venue with well placed wheelchair seating areas. The acoustics are excellent. Staff were friendly and capable. The only real problems that I saw were related and not entirely at the feet of the venue: the band swag booth was only accepting cash payment for purchases, and this had not been publicized ahead of time. As a result the ATMs were emptied by around 7 o'clock. The dealer lost sales and many fans were disappointed.
Great fourth of July celebration. Has been a time that we will never forget. It's a great environment with great foods and music and an incredible firework display. Security was on point in making sure everyone was safe and had a great time
Nice venue, but their bottle cap policy is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. Also, they have strict rules on their website about what's allowed inside, but don't abide by them. I was very disappointed when I got there and I saw people with blankets and yoga mats that I didn't bring because I was mislead by the website.
Epic night with Maren Morris and company!! One of the very best nights of my whole life!!
This venue has its pros and cons. It loses a star for having atrocious parking. There is not sufficient parking if they host a sold out event. They also lose a star for the fact that they have not been able to figure out how to serve at concession stands and keeps the lines to an acceptable level. If this venue has, not only the built in stands plus 8 auxiliary stands spread out throughout the venue why is it still taking an hour to pur hase an over priced beverage? It boggles the mind. Other than those two cons, it is a very nice venue. Its clean and well maintained. The step design lends itself for a variety of events and the grassy areas are very convenient for a beautiful night out.
My details may be much different than you think. The Amphitheatre is closed for any shows but
The Salvation Army is helping us with their Food Assistance Program. You must drive a vehicle and be wearing a mask when you get in the area. It starts at 7am but you may want to arrive earlier to get in and out. Food is distributed by Lovely Volunteers and our Army Men and Woman and cars are lined up by our Mesa Police Department.
So I'm writing this evaluation for the Wonderful Way Mesa is helping our Community. There are other Food Assistance Programs around the areas also.
Thank you to all that are involved in helping. We appreciate it
Ziggy Marley was awesome and Michael Fronti just always puts on a great show! The venue was perfect and the vibe was great! Plenty of parking but be sure to take a blanket to sit on and closed bottles of water. Ladies- clear purses are a plus.
I would love if they added more shade, some of the best tours happen during summer because most of the country is having good weather.. we fry out in the sun in Mesa summertime. Other than that, the venue is great.
This venue is such a gem. There is not a bad seat in the house, sound is great, drinks aren't too crazy expensive, and overall the staff is very friendly. If you ever get the chance go see a concert here!
I haven't visited this theater yet, but I called to get help purchasing tickets to a concert and the representative helping me was so kind and patient! I will update my review after the show.
Staff were so nice, fantastic venue for a concert! Bastille was amazing!
This is a really nice amphitheatre because its got grass, so you can sit comfortably. Unfortunately, because its right in the middle of town, bands must stop playing by 10:00PM, so get there early. They have mist by the refreshment area, but they really need a way to mist the whole amphitheatre in the summer, or at least fans or something. It can really get unbearable fast. If you go to the large refreshment area near the merch stand, the lines are not as long.
Good views, bummer all shows have to end by 9:50pm Mesa policy,,, Major bummer. Main headliner starts usually about 8:15ish Drinks are avg. 12-15 dollars, usually allow up to 20 oz clear unopened water bottle, and see online specs for clear bag policy.....
Beautiful place to have a Graduation ceremony. First time I was there. Will return sometime in the future.
Fantastic venue. Easy to see the stage no matter where you are! Definitely want to see more concerts here.
I've been to the Mesa Amphitheatre a few times. Either you have to get right in the very front or take to the sides of the venue to have a good experience. The problem is that if you are standing in front of the stage, it's flat, and being any more than two or three rows back you simply cannot see unless you're tall. They do a nice job of getting people in and out easily. The parking lot isn't big enough, though. We've had to park on the street a couple of times.
Great, medium-sized, general admission venue. I almost took a star away due to the underpowered PA system that really shows it's age. But otherwise I've always had a great time at concerts there. Facilities (restrooms, concession stands) are good enough. The parking situation is almost a breeze compared to downtown events. Mesa ought to sell naming rights and use the money to remodel the place. Should be good for another 50 years.
Loved the Chance the Rapper concert here. The outdoor seating in Nov was perfect (thanks global warming). Parking was free but far. No problem my feet whips didn't fix. Bathrooms were terrible though. Not enough and two were clogged within an hour of opening. Recap: I'd come back again fosho
Didn't go for concerts, went to pick up food for my daughter, it is now the biggest and most great full thing ever. God bless the army men and women who helped out today. The park was so clean
Great Venue, always have good shows. Lines could use some better organizing but other than that a great time
Great venue - large enough, but not too large that you lose the intimacy. Comfortable atmosphere - perfect night under the stars. Saw 2 Cellos in concert.... Very memorable night!
The venue was nice, easy to navigate. The Public Address (PA) system has a little to be desired. The Band's (The Bellwethers, The Fran Cosmo Band, and REO Speedwagon) amps were great, but the vocals were muffled. The venue exceeded expectations.
It is a nice little concert venue, not too small but not to big. My only complaint is the sound mixing was not all that great
This is not a bad venue for a concert. Nothing too special about it, but I never had any complaints. My problem is that they host other events, like the annual Wingstock event, that this venue is just not suited for. At these other events the crowds aren't handled well, the events can get split in half with half of the stuff going on outside in the park and the parking lot, and they have to form lines going uphill on the amphitheater seats.
Nice outside place first time here, to see Los Tigueres Del Norte
Thisvis a very cute venue. I like how the general admission seating on the grass is tiered. Most of the amohiteater is shaded by 6:30 pm so no direct sun blazing down on you. The concession lines were never really too long. The line to get into the event was very quick and they provuded misters in line to keep everyone cool.
This place is an amazing concert venue (once upon a time) today I went and witnessed atleast 10k people getting food boxes. Mesa PD was doing an amazing job of directing traffic OUR military was even helping out it was amazing. Thankbyou and God Bless you all
The amphitheatre was nice. It's an outdoor venue entirely, no seats.... The opening act for Social Distortion was not music, it was noise. I hope the bands are better. :)
I liked this amphitheater a lot. I saw Smashing Pumpkins there, and enjoyed sitting in the grass and watching them play. The prices for food and drinks are high, but that's generally a given for any music venue.
The merchandise line eas not organized so we did not buy shirts. The rest of the concert was amazing!
Great outdoor venue. From the patrons to the staff, I love the people and the place.
The greatest venue in the valley. I wish every concert was held at the Mesa Amp. Clean, fun and affordable.
Fantastic place to see a show. Hands down the tidiest venue I've been to
Love the vibe.. lines are quick for drinks, security is nice and the only thing if you come in the summer dress cool because its really hot. Overall its great.
It's the little but big venue
A fantastic venue. Love the lawn seating.
Good set up with a nice grassy area. However, terrible set up for cooling. Fans would’ve been a huge help. I saw 2 people faint which required them to be taken away. Why not just add some airflow?
This might be one of my favorite venues in Phoenix! It's outside, not too big, not too small and has great sound!
Went to see the dirty heads concert and it was a blast!
Rad spot for good shows.
I have only visited here as a polling place, but it is great for this purpose...no wait, easy voting. Don't believe the Democrats, voting is easy, non-partisan and unrestricted. AND SAFE, plenty of security.
Intimate outdoor venue to see live music. Prepare to wait in line a long time for concessions. Due to noise ordinance, shows seem to end around 10 here. Also, there is a 'clear bag' policy.
Parking and getting in and out of the venue was quick and easy. It was very hot being outside with little shade. Prices for food were as expected. Prices for drinks were pretty high.
Great people good music, security was there and extremely well done. Our experience was even better handled by Emily "T", thanks to all employees of Mesa Amphitheater.
Historic 80's 90s, 2001s venues saw love and 🚀 here. Bubbleman
Cool place. Music is good for a neighborhoods. …
One of the best places to celebrate July 4th.
Such an amazing experience! Loved the concert and the area!
By far the best outdoor venue in the Phoenix area to see a concert. The acustics are amazing and the lawn is always mown and comfortable to sit on. The parking is free too.
I love this venue!!! I have seen several bands here. Including my very favorite band, The Smashing Pumpkins, twice! The Offspring rocked the Ampetheatre also!!!
I was here in August and it was amazing but the security was very rude. I understand that it is their job to protect the band and keep people away from the stage, however I felt that keeping people away from the gate was unnecessary. Like the person below me said, one of the security people even flipped Rydel off while she was singing after Riker tried to tell him that it was okay for people to be by the gate. Also, after the concert, security was very rude to people who were waiting by the buses. They kept saying that the band had already left (even though the bus was clearly still at the venue) and they started yelling at us telling us to leave. Eventually, they started threatening people and telling them that if they didn't leave, they would get cited for trespassing. Then they took the gates down that are supposed to keep the people from the band but, like we thought, the band had not left and when they came back, the gates were gone and the were bombarded.
Love concerts here. Excellent Excellent Excellent venue for music!
Best venue I been to in the whole valley. The city back drop is insane.
I had an awesome time watching Phoenix symphony fo pink floyd. The only bad was how rude the Amphitheatre employees were, vendors were nice. Once you got past the rude security and staff. Venue was good.
Great venue for a concert. Strange policy, however, of placing the water from a water bottle that you purchase into a styrofoam or plastic cup rather than handing you the water bottle.... Just creates more garbage....
Good show. Food and drink choices very limited. Staff was good.
Parking a joke. Was full but no signs or employee to indicate such. We all winded through the lot and exited the other side.
Great venue, easy entry and a nice atmosphere.
Chicago West Fest was well-organized and well-attended on a perfect weather day!
an outdoor venue in AZ seems like a bad idea, no matter what the season, but if you can't take the heat, get out of here. Mesa Amphitheater stays true to it's roots with is coliseum style , and is a great spot to catch a concert. Saw DEFTONES here in August 2016 and rocked out on the lawn!
Very cool. I went here for a rave and it was wild. So much fun, and it has great surround sound. 😍😍😍 Come and visit. Seating is at a wide range. …
They never opened the gates on time.....
This amphitheater was amazing!! There is a great amount of space and it was a great experience overall!
Well laid out for bathrooms, food, beverages, etc. Acoustics sound better away from stage.
Tedeschi Trucks Band...awesome show.
Great place to see a show. Intimate "early bird gets the worm" terraced seating. The facilities however are very dated and the food and drink options are slim.
Good venue, close parking. Only knock is after a show trying to leave the parking lot is sometimes a free for all. No police directing traffic so it took a while leave.
Super casual, great place to relax and listen to music. Get there early to claim your spot. Drinks out of control expensive.
Great venue! Weezer was fantastic! I wore the ugliest sweater known to man.
Seen Smashing Pumpkins! They were amazing live! They have food and restrooms. Plus a few vendors for beer. I would definitely go back to Mesa Amphitheatre!!!
July 4th event seemed to be well organized.
Great place for concert.
I'm grateful for the United Food Bank and sponsors for providing us with a donated Thanksgiving meal.
Great venue to see a show. Wish they would just have a line for just drinks though. Takes a long time to get served when people are ordering food.
Really great venue. Not a bad viewing area in the place!
Fantastic! Reospeedwagon and surprise guest..Boston. Great seats. 40 bucks. Such a great time. Security was polite. Very organized.
Saw Chris Stapleton last night. Sold out crowd, no surprise. Long lines to get in, long lines for the ladies room and even longer lines for beer and they ran out! Way to go Budweiser, this Bud is NOT for you! Having to get a wrist band to buy a beer in a separate line from the beer line is ridiculous! Who else does that?!?! Let's stand in two L O N G lines cause we have nothing else better to do (besides run out!) They need more beer booths, bathrooms and entry ways! I didn't like not being able to bring a blanket though, #gotgrassstains
Great concert though and who knew his wife has some pipes on her as well! Wow!
Seen chance the rapper here! Amazing experience! I love the fact the it was a stand up concert, but wish I would've been taller to see better.
Great little venue!
Outstanding venue! Great sound, super nice employees, concessions good and not too expensive. Go to a show here!
Saw the Phoenix Symphony play Pink Floyd songs. It was great.
Was set up very well, love the seating in the hillside
I went to taiyou con on saturday. A very memorable experience. Really pretty great crowd. I fully recomend
I was scheduled to work at Mesa Amphitheater, and the experience was AWESOME, the staff were professional and the crowd was having fun
Only been here 3 times. First time seeing System of a Down was at this venue. There should be more venues like this, perfectly mid-sized and General Admission all around.
Love going to shows here. The lawn seats are the best. Great views of the stage and it's an amphitheater so it sounds great, too.
A nice sized venue, kept pretty clean, security was nice
Awesome location and free parking if you get there early. Loved the lawn seating, and staff at the concession stands were amazing.
Plenty of space to lay on the grass if you get tired. Or floor space to dance your shoes off.
The Ladies Are Dressed Sexy And Casual...The Miguel Concert, Here They Come! The Red Tape Was Cut Back In The 70's And The Parties + Major Events Keep On PushN'. On The Grassy LZ, This Outdoor Theatre Has Overlapping, Ruffled Like Seating Accompanying A Capacity Of Up To 4.9G+. However, If Your Group Gets Hungry Or Thirsty Prepare To "Pay Out The Ying Yang!" Otherwise, It Is A Happening Spot.
Lots of fun. Great outdoor venue. Friendly security, police and paramedics on site to help you. Recommend concerts there.
Always a good small place for big music.
JUST STARTED GOING HERE FOR CONCERTS AND I THINK ITS A GREAT LAID BACK PLACE. WITG THERE GRASS NOT HAVING BUGS LIKE ANTS IN IT.
What a great spot for a venue!
Saw the Eagles show last night and it was fantastic! Perfect weather, excellent music! A really nice time!
Still a great venue. The Humdinger fest is a blast. So glad to see local music talent being showcased.
This place has been my jam for the last 20 years!!! Thank you for being so badass Mesa Amphitheatre!
Best 👍 open space for listening to music in Mesa. …
I really enjoyed attending this Arena. They moved you in fast they had everything well organized it was my first time there and I would go back.
Awesome place to see a show just seen Boston to Berkeley great time🤙 …
I just love this place! Best outdoor venue in the valley and doesn't charge huge fees like lucky man.
Big, airy and most important...shade from the sun.
Great small venue to see a concert. Highly recommend you go and see a concert here
Great venue any place you sit or stand is great..looking forward to see many concerts there
Very nice place. Nice places to sit on the grass if u want to. As well as a very nice stage to listen to music and wherever ur standing at u can see everything.
Best place in Mesa AZ for live music 🎵🎶 and smoking 🔥 that makes me want a 🌮 …
Parking sucks and ticket prices are outrageous but I like the levels of seating and it being outside.
4th of July festivities were good
It was a little warm out but it was in September but really nice venue and the sound was really good! I was impressed!
Great little outdoor venue, grass and concrete seating. Not many large mainstream headliners, but a great lineup nonetheless.
Nice outside theater with a wide range variety of music shows. Good prices on beverages and food.Fun for everyone!!!!
Great place for a show staff was friendly and the venue was loud
Make sure to get here early to find parking, concessions are all via credit and debit card, for the most part.
Love watching outdoor shows in the spring and winter time. Love the setup for seats here. I've seen some pretty amazing shows here
Beautiful laser lights display. AMAZING!
Went to this venue for a Ozzy Osborne concert, venue was great, security was fast, plenty of booths, had an awesome time
Love this venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Just under 5000 capacity
Small area to watch concert. Good visability. Nice grass to sit. There is no TV screen
Attended a Cypress Hill concert here last night it was amazing!!
We had assigned seats. They were really close together and uncomfortable. Thankfully the concert was great
Good venue. Good viewing angles and good amount of services.
Great concert, Eagles cover band. Love my seats on the grass! Perfect weather!
Great Venue! Big enough yet small enough to where you are not waiting in lines for ever. East to find parking and leaving the venue.
Nice place terrible security, the security was VERY rude I went there for an r5 concert and the band had told everyone to stand up and go crazy and the security guards were telling everyone to sit down, during Rydel's song lighting strikes the security was pushing everyone in the front yelling at them to get back (even though they paid for those seats by the gate) when the band member told them to stop pushing the fans he walked by her and flipped her off.
Great venue for outdoor..music.. small venue feel .. not a bad seat in the house
I love this venue. Being able to sit in the grass or wherever you like and still see
The sound is decent and the lawn area is cool too!
Not to big but made the social d and flogging molly concert 10 times better getting up and close withbur fav bands !!
Great spot for a concert. Places to sit not far from the stage. To be expected food/beer prices (expensive).
Great spot for a concert! Love this place!
Awesome outdoor venue. Too hot in the summer. Depending on the event may be worth it tho
Clean and comfortable concert venue. Night concerts under stars along with fair amenities, it is a great spot
Great music venue!! I've been going there since late 80's.
A little warm in the summer time but staff very creative in accommodations. Great time had at shows here
It was next to a convention I attended. Property was nice and we'll kept. BE WARNED of the clear bag policy
Always a pleasant experience! Clean with great vendors and service.
Always love going to this amphitheatre it's still one of the better ones in town.
Went to Hatchet Attacks 2009. still is one of the best amphitheatres I've seen. will never forget the experience.
Beautiful Amphitheatre that's small and simple, but is a gem in its own right
Great place to see a concert in the fall, winter, or spring. I would stay away in the summer.
The venue brings in so much talent, a 5 star venue if given a proper revamp.
Went for my step daughter graduation. Very nice place
Sound was good, not amazing. The setup was great, great place to see a concert
Great outdoor venue. Very easy to get in and out. Great acoustics.
Great lawn awesome venue for tock concerts! The acustics are amazing and the whole experience was amazing.
Love the venue! Great sound and clean bathrooms.
Great place to see a concert or watch fireworks on the 4th of July. Mesa has done an awesome job with this place
Always a great place to go for concerts!
Best seating is the lawn, but questionable policies regarding blankets. Cash only concessions, no debit or credit cards.
Always a good time to be had here. The concerts are always amazing.
Amazing place for concert's
Went for the wingfest, it was great, the entire place is pretty big so there's plenty of walking.
Parking kinda sucks, but I have been enjoying this venue for years.

Friendly staff. Super easy to get to. Lots of parking. The grass so green and clean.
Great cosy outdoors amphitheater to see a band or Symphony..
Great small venue! Food blows but who goes to a concert to eat????
Great concert, very nice security and good Audio.
Cool (outdoor) venue, can get pretty hot though.
Great place for concert, but vendors should not gouge prices

Mesa always puts on a great 4th of July!! Venue perfect, and wonderful music.
Went to see Floggin Molly and was amazing experience!
Amazing multi-leveled outdoor concert venue with room for a lot of people.
Really could use more and better concessions. Venue is fair. Easy to see performers.
