Really enjoyed the place it was my first time there. I saw Travis Tritt play his acoustic show and love it! The theater is very nice the only reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because they closed concession stand in middle of show. I ran out there to use the restroom and to get another beverage and they said they were closed. Other than that love the place.

An amazing treasure of a place to see concerts. We have been a few times and thoroughly enjoyed being there to soak up the talent. It's a medium sized theater so all of the seats are good. Lots of parking choices with some pay and others on the street.

The Theatre was beautiful and big. The handicap seat that I reserved was so comfy and near the doors. I had the last seat in row L with my husband. Awesome view of the stage. I would recommend Ikeda Theatre in Mesa to all that love music and an absolute view.

Fab Four tribute concert! Awesome concert! Easy to get in and out of this theater! Parking is $10 and only a very short walk to the theater! Staff was great!

Wonderful theater with great shows. Ticket prices are a bit high, but I guess you can volunteer to usher here and see shows while working. Thankful for this venue and arts in Mesa!

Great amphtheater to have live performances. I was near the middle of the orchestra section so my body was feeling the pounding of the double kick drums and the wahing of the guitar. Can't wait to come back for another event!!

The medium size venue makes every show feel like a personalized experience. We loved that we could purchase a bottle of wine and the wait was not long. Staff was very friendly and facility is clean and well-kept.

My wife and I and a couple friends just attended the Andy Grammer concert and it was amazing highly recommend. The theater was small and intimate. Sound was great and much better for live concerts compared to the large stadium concerts.

Love this place, but they need to allow for prepaid parking for people who do carry cash. Also, on the mezzanine they need to lower the bar when people sit in seat A. As the bar obstructions a person view. See the bar at the top of my picture.

Went to see Kurtis Conner Live and we had such a blast! It was a great show. The line to get in/get through security didnt take as long as we thought. Seating was nice and organized, plenty of space. It seems like any seat you get will be a great view of the stage. Would definitely come back! :)

Had a great time coming here to see We're All Doomed; great show and nice venue. Felt as though there could have been more clear signage on what buildings contained which stages. But there were also these chairs outside whose bottoms were like a spinning top? So you could spin around and around in them. S tier facility furniture, would love for home as well.

It's the largest of several small theaters housed in the state of the art, no expense spared, contemporary Mesa Arts Center. brilliantly designed for optimum acoustics and aesthetics, a theater beautiful with geometry and symmetry. Mine is from stagehands perspective and is different than the audience experience so I can only judge it by the love of theater and passion of the house crew evidenced by the care they take to ensure the audience experience is unparalleled and unforgettable. The schedule of upcoming shows are on the website and worth the cost of a ticket if you're a fan of performing arts.

Awesome little venue for live music. I saw Wardruna. The staff was friendly. The theater and restrooms were clean. Seating in the theater was comfortable enough for the show. I'm 5'10" and 250 lbs and had no problems seeing the stage or sitting in the chairs.

Watched Salt River Brass concert. It was a very nice performance. The venue wasn't large which is good thing since I only got the cheapest tickets. Even nosebleed section is decent distance from stage.

Ikeda is the perfect venue for Tower of Power. Very good acoustics! Cold beers, polite ushers, and good-sized bathrooms. Beautiful theater which is clean & comfortable.

Nice place for an event...went to the Belinda Carlisle Concert. Seats are nice, but a little hard. The speaker system needs some work, sound for the concert wasnt great...but it was a very good concert. Overall its ok

Saw Simply Three there two nights ago, 2/21/2020. The theater was great for the performance. Getting to any seat is straightforward and egress following a concert is quite quick and pain-free. The venue was great for the concert. The views of the stage were good and the sound great.

The concert was great! Saw Amos Lee. Sounded great. Ushers were polite and helpful. My only complaint was this is that there was paid parking which oddly enough was cash only! I see many shows there and attended many events and never had to pay for parking. So boo on the parking and double boo on the cash parking! So thankfully, I could buy a drink with a credit card. However, to tip the bartender I would have needed cash which I did not have.

Great performance of Peter and the Wolf! My children and I attended along with other members of our homeschool group. I really enjoyed the way the conductor introduced each instrument and the performance was very kid friendly. Great way to introduce kids to the symphony. We were directed to sit up front, which frankly was way too close for my comfort, but it was very interesting to see the instruments a bit closer.

Building and area is really nice. This view is from top balcony seating. On the ticket it said I "may have an obstructive view", I didn't experience that at all. My sister and I end up really liking the balcony area. Minimal people, and quick access to bathrooms, for during intermission, and most importantly, affordable. Note, my phone camera makes the stage look far away, it's not that bad, it's a good view point. My sister and I are used to cold theaters, so, we bring back-up sweaters. This place stayed comfortably warm the entire time! That was a pleasant surprise. Parking fills up fast. Buiding is right next to light rail for those who might want to Park and Ride there. Leaving after the show is really fast and easy compared to bigger theaters. It was nice not having to deal with heavy traffic when your ready to go. This is where I removed 1 star. Wish they had more savory selection for food snack items, as is, was just (gourmet?) popcorn, cookies (which they ran out of) and candy to choose from. We tried finding a place to eat, that was close by, which, pro, few restaurants within walking distance, con, get there an hour before show starts and all those places are packed, with people waiting to be seated. Maybe get their 2 hours earlier would help, unfortuantly, for those who have to work late, and the soonest you can get there is an hour (or less) before the show starts, you'll want to make and pack, or pick something up, to eat on the way there. This is where it would be nice if their concessions offered a little more of a food selection. If you enjoy spirits, there seem to be plenty of alcoholic options. Water comes in aluminum bottle.

This is one of the best venues in the Valley, we think. Staff is always upbeat and efficient. The acoustics are great for live music. The seats are comfy and there's more space between rows than usual, it seems, so those people who always have to go somewhere in the middle of the show are less intrusive as they "excuse me" all the way to the aisle past a bunch of knees. Go there when you have a chance.

Decent place. We saw psychic and medium Matt Fraser here. Balcony seats were pretty decent. Good sound. Definitely an opportunity for improvement is the beer and snacks/candy sales. Maybe 4 cashier openings, not sure how many cashiers though. The line always moves slow. I also saw the G3 concert here. Lower level. Great view and sound. Same slow line for beer or Coke or candy.

A nice theater with a good amount of room for the taller people since I'm 6'7". The sound was solid and the stage scenery was nice. The show we saw was dark but definitely worth the time we spent.

We went here for our daughter high school band concert. They played very well. The place sounded more amazing than the school auditorium. I have never seen a play here but i can imagine it would be nice. Lots of parking, the metro light rail has a stop here as well.

Beautiful theater. Had a great experience. I think the only problem is there is not a central aisle. If you have a seat in the middle of the theater you would have to disrupt a number of people in order to get out. That said if you have a small bladder I suggest sitting on the side.

Recently, shared my experience of the MAC when we visited for the OK-GO show. It was definitely a fun show and the venue was accessible and simple. This is a great place to see shows in a more "intimate" setting vs the larger places around the valley.

What a great venue! I have done some work at the MAC before, but never in the theater. Every seat had a great view, and sound was great. Never felt to busy as well. We went to see an food comedian, and felt like he was right there. We were back behind the house board. Only complaint was parking, but that is the city of Mesa trying to push the homeless train on people.

I did not enjoy the concert, however, I did enjoy the time with my son. The sound guy totally dropped the ball, and did not do the band any justice. It was way too loud, and took away from the way the band actually sounds with a good sound system.

Every Mesa Arts Center theatre has its own vibe. Ikea has great acoustics, feels intimate yet seats plenty, and great variety of performances. Salt River Brass Band, Bruce Dickinson, Stacey Abrams, and Shen Yun are just a few of the outstanding performances we've seen since connecting with the theatre in October. And if you're budget minded AND civic minded, become a volunteer usher!

If you like an up-close-and-personal experience when you see a concert or performance, this is the place to go. It only has 1,600 seats, and the parking garage right next to the theater makes it super easy to get in and out compared to wandering around hunting for a parking spot elsewhere. Both shows we saw in the last couple of weeks had adult beverages and memorabilia for sale if desired. The acoustics here are phenomenal - we saw one show that was all about the vocalist, another show that was much more about the guitar and fast, hard drumming, and both sounded amazing here. It's also great that this is a nice, small venue so that every seat has a good view of what's happening on the stage. If you're a fan of a more personal experience rather than being among the masses, this is the place to go.

Saw our high school's Christmas extravaganza here. Acoustics were great. Staff was pleasant and helpful. They even had a good alarm go off mid-performance, the theater had to empty, and everyone stayed in good spirits to get back in and continue the show. Nice place!

This was the first time we attended a venue at Ikeda Theater! Sound quality and seating was fabulous! We saw the Hendrix Experience 2019 tour, with multiple performers. After 5 pm, parking cost 5 bucks. No complaints! Would definitely attend another venue here!

Great hall. I've both performed and attended performances in this hall. Good acoustics and also amplified sound. The outside hallways are not set up well for all the foot traffic after shows but even the best venues have issues.

I've been here a few times for different shows/performances. My rating is based solely on the venue, as the shows change regularly. The seating is comfortable. It's well-designed for sound and acoustics. I can't vouch for all the seats, but I've been pleased with everywhere I've sat so far. The amenities and services at the venue are nice. The parking is close and free (but do be sure to arrive early for parking if it's a large event).

Beautiful theater with great acoustics. My only complaint is the lower hallways did not have enough workers to direct people were to go. Many people were frustrated with it. Once we got to correct door it was fine. Saw Mannheim Steamroller there. It was fabulous.

It was a lovely theater. The employees were professional and friendly. It was a pleasant experience overall in the Mesa Arts environment. If you haven't spent time in that area, you'll want to make sure to look around and see the many statues Mesa has placed in the blocks of the downtown arts district. They're amazing.

We watched the MCO (Millennial Choir and Orchestra) concert. It was a wonderful performance and the sound in the theater was great.It really felt like we were surrounded by angels. Also, we were off to the side a little bit but we could still see the whole stage perfectly.

This theatre is a gem. I've been there for a variety of events and the sound was fantastic. There isn't a bad seat in the house. Arrive early though, security screening could delay entry to the venue.

Great venue. Came to see the BYU Ballroom Dance Company with some of my young children (we all loved it!). The venue was clean and tidy, the staff was all very helpful (I even changed my seats because of limited view and the lady in the box office was very understanding and helpful). Cool water feature and palm trees outside.

Saw the new production of "The Lamb of God" composed by Rob Gardner. It was awesome! We traveled here from Salt Lake City to participate in this Easter extravaganza. We enjoyed the excellent facilities of the Ikeda Theatre. This is the first time we have attended any event at this beautiful facility. No disappointment, except for a couple oversites by the audio techies. But they were forgivable.

Great venue inside a fantastic performing arts complex. Very comfortable setup while waiting predoors opening, and lovely theater, stage and seating. Very vast and varied lineup of shows in this theater alone, not to mention the complex. Conveniently located along the Mesa portion of the light rail.

Always a great time, very well organized, volunteers are very friendly and helpful this theater is my favorite, every event my husband and I have been to and had others accompany us to has been a time we'll never forget. Parking is inexpensive or free. Mesa Arts offers a very well variety of shows, music and festivals.

Great acoustics and good visual from any seat. Parking right behind the theater was only $5 and you got a certificate good for $5 at any of the merchants downtown Mesa. All in all not a bad deal. If you get to see simply three do it they are great.

I really like this venue...the one negative I would note is cramped seating for anyone taller than 5'10. Im 6'1 and my knees were up against the partition in front of me. Had to leave the show early because it was so uncomfortable.

This venue is so awesome! Super modern with a roof that opens up making it an outdoor theatre. Great location and there's always something playing like bands, orchestras, musicals, plays and dance. I highly recommend checking it out!

My family and I attended an event at this location last week. The inside of the building is beautiful and accommodating, however, there is inadequate parking for the amount of people who can fill the building and the surrounding businesses. The parking garage is close by, but not big enough. Also, the parking spaces are very small, certainly not big enough to accommodate an SUV.

The show was fantastic, but I was sold a seat that didn't exist. A folding chair was used where there was no chair. I was also disappointed that there was a speaker in the way of my view. Otherwise I would completely recommend the The theater.

I am temporarily disabled from a fall. The volunteers arranged to meet me at the curb and got me to a wheel chair friendly location. I was able to see my son perform Carmen as a violist for the Youth Symphony of the Southwest. A dream come true. I plan on paying them in volunteer services in the future. This is a wonderfully run entertainment location and gets my first choice for ANY LIVE PERFORMANCE.
