Nice and cozy theater with a very friendly staff. However, some of the plays are a little repetitive in terms of plot it seems recently.

I just left the Arden Theatre and loved everything about it. The staff were so accommodating over the telephone and in person. The theatre was nice, clean and small enough that every seat was close to the stage. If you arrive a early enough you can find free street parking and if not, you can park at a lot near by or on a street just a little further at a meter. Finally, the Glass Managerie was so good and the actors were amazing. I can’t wait to go back to visit this theatre.

If you love theater, you have got to go to the Arden. Every performance is outstanding. And the small theater gives the performances an intimacy that just levels up your experience in a way large theaters never can. Their shows are for all ages. And they bring the same quality of professionalism and expertise to every show. From the incredible General Tubman to Charlotte's Web. The icing on the cake is how affordable their tickets are. And I believe they also have drama classes
Silly Bear
A Philadelphia mainstay celebrating its 35th anniversary. With two black box stages, once big, one small, they produce quality theatre. Recently enjoyed their wonderful production of Every Brilliant Thing.
Sadia Bynum
Love this place! The service was AWESOME! I found parking right up the street but they also gave me a coupon to park in the lot across the street. The snack stand was good, the line moved pretty fast. Bathrooms was clean. I’d recommend catching a show here.
linda roberts
I had an awesome experience watching Charlotte's Web with my daughter. We were seated very close. The actors were great.

Charlotte's Web was incredibly creative and clever. Actors were incredibly talented and on many levels. Highly recommend.

I have never seen a bad show at the Arden. Clyde’s did not disappoint. Stellar acting. Timely subject! Don’t miss it!
Neil DiFranco
We really enjoyed seeing Every Brilliant Thing at the Arden. Excellent theater, can't wait to come back for Charlotte's Web!
Joseph Lunine
I saw Once here, and it was truly magical in the Arden. I had seen clips of it at other more traditional theaters, but the Arden was able to use their theatre-in-the-round style to bring it to the next level. It was really cool to have the music surrounding you, and be able to see audience reactions across the room from your seat.
One minor thing I did think was a bit of an inconvenience was that the seating on rows near to the exits only had one entrance side, so you had to clamber over twenty people if you had a seat all the way on the end.

Wonderful theater company performing both a regular season of classics and new plans and a children's season in a modern two stage venue in a historic part of old Philadelphia. The Arden makes excellent contributions to Philadelphia's live performance scene. We have seen many plays here over the years from both their mainstage and children programs, and recently attended the surprising and amazing Charlotte's Web. Highly recommended. The Arden also works with the community to bring low income children to performances and has a drama school for kids.
Ashley Marie
Went to see Backing Track on opening night. Great show with a good message! Phenomenal actors.
Terry Baraldi
Last night enjoyed a most excellent production of Into the Woods. The set was so well staged…it let the actors shine. Loved the cow. All of the voices were amazing but hers was the most surprising. The prince duets we’re perfect. I could go on, but instead I’ll just tell more people. See you next season.
Rashaad Pound
Great customer service, the performers are excellent. The theater is set up so that there are no bad seats. The position of the audience to the stage makes you feel like you are apart of each scene. I really enjoy each performance at this place.
Steve Salvitti
Today we went to the Arden to see a production of the Snow Queen. The play was great and the kids (4/5 age range) sat still throughout! The theatre is intimate with great seating. The actors were professional and entertaining. We had 6 adults and 7 kids and everyone enjoyed the show. Would easily go back. Parking is available right at the theatre (albeit tight fitting and not free but not expensive either).
Joe ODonnell
I took my grandson to Charlotte's Web. He was enthralled, excited, and loved it.
He begged to come to the next show, Little Red Ridinghood.
Melvin Goldberg
A wonderful venue. Staff were all very efficient and helpful
The play was fantastic
Going back for the next show
Sondra Weidman

Rebecca “Moss” Brannon
Very enjoyable performance in the round. An intimate space and distinctive thought-provoking show!
Janet Phulwani
Loved the theater in the round experience. The audience was definitely part of the show!
musicandtheoffice
Very well done! (Into the Woods) I was very impressed by the actors. They were excellent singers and the overall production was well put-together and executed perfectly.
Ann Burruss
Went to our first show at the Arden, saw Into The Woods. It was wonderful. There is not really a bad seat in the house, although B, C , and D are more central, A and E are to the sides. They don't have food and drink for sale.
maureraloha
Arden theater is very minimalistic as far as sets and costumes go.
Kay Clark
I chaperoned on my son's kindergarten trip to see Charlotte's Web, and it was an awesome show
Abba Asal
I have a very nice experience there
I went and my daughter there with the school
It’s clean nice
We enjoy every moment
The actress was marvelous
The theme of the play was very nice
I like the place very very very much
LaToya Keys
Great show, please donate to the Arden Theater Company to allow them to continue their shows, keep ticket prices low, and maintain the building!
Loved "Into the Woods"!
Jennifer Jenkins
Excellent productions, as good if not better than NYC.
Regina Cotter
Saw Every Brilliant Thing this evening ….wonderful one man performance…highly recommend!
Ju M.
My mother had the leading role in " Gem of the Ocean" . An August Wilson play. The entire cast was amazing. But the set and prop designers. ... kudos!

The Arden is another outstanding theater company in Philadelphia but it’s not always consistent. And there was one instance where they performed Romeo and Juliet and it was so bad, it was almost impossible to sit through. Some people did leave at intermission. With that said, 95% of its productions are absolutely wonderful and worth seeing. It’s definitely among my top 6 theater companies in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Craig Alner
An intimate and comfortable theater. Would definitely go back for another show.
Robert Leonetti
A great theater experience in Old City. What they do best is new takes on old classics as well as edgy new productions. We are subscribers & hope to be for many years!
Jennifer Ng'andu
I experienced the Arden theatre as a joyful place and one with pride in its work. We went for a play called Backing Track, fabulous in and of itself, a story about grief, and love, and finding oneself, mixed with a flair of gentrification. The theatre had great COVID protocol which I hope they will continue, checks for vaccine cards, I assume negative PCR tests for the unvaccinated, and masking. Hope to come back and experience more of its work.
Brian Thalhofer
Excellent theatre in Philly. Took my wife to their production of "Into the Woods" and the cast was amazing.
Leola Mobley
The play was great. The actors are very talented. They could all sing. They kept your attention , they made you laugh,as well as wonder what would happen next.
Admin 001
Saw a heartwarming play by Eric Thomas here called Backing Track. Loved the intimate theater seating and seat design. The staff was friendly.
Heidi Everhart
Beautiful space, excellent acoustics, and an amazing theater camp production of Sweeney Todd tonight! 5 star performance!
honeyjbc1
A theater company that likes to present modern plays and take risks with casting and tries to help young people get experience.
They try to do a Sondheim musical every year.
Charles Vortreflich
I really enjoy the theater experience at the Arden. The productions are generally superb (exceptions, but few); the actors are marvelous, the entertainers wonderful. The theater is intimate (you're never far from the stage), especially their theater in the round where a slight effort may actually bring you in contact with the stage. They periodically change the seating configuration to accommodate the play. They occasionally present new plays and these have generally been enjoyable. Discount parking ($10) next door.
Tina
What a great experience for the kids! We have been there for 2 different children's shows now and both were very well done. It is a different experience then what you would think of as classic theater. They make full use of the auditorium, including the ceiling and seats at times, and invite participants to join the show sometimes too. After every show there is a short question and answer period with the actors and then you can meet them in the lobby to take pictures with the actors. My boys are 12 and 9 and have both greatly enjoyed attending here and are looking forward to their next production.
Judith Miller
Great theatre with thoughtful staff.
valerie castile
Nice Theatre❣ Small Personsonal Setting with limited seats, And The Play❣74 Seconds, Wonderful ❣
Ron Williams
Outstanding play by August Wilson. Wife took me for my birthday and it was truly awesome. Casts was great, there is not a bad seat in the house. I wish they offered more refreshments for attendees. I was there for three hours or more and all they had were cookies, alcohol and granola bars to snack on. Not to mention the cookie was like 3 bucks.
Nigel Dunne
Great little theater with good view from every seat. Sadly not the best chairs they definitely need more cushioning.
kevin Monaghan
What a great place for a play to be watched in the round.
June
Nice place to take the kids. Performances are always kid-friendly and the seating arrangement is just the right size, allowing everyone to see from all angles. The price is right and discounts are often available. The actors are always phenomenal! I will keep coming back with my grands.
Nitzan Ben-David
Small theater but nice. There is very little leg space so be warned if you are tall or large.
Kathleen Fernandez
The Arden is a great company in that it offers traditional theater and new productions. Traditional shows are extremely well done with talented performers. New shows are well done, but perhaps not to everyone's taste. We've seen great ones and ones we still shake our heads at because we are still not sure what they were about. But kudos to Arden for having a place for them to be seen. Always a great night out with lots of places to eat nearby.
MrsCink
Went here on a school trip with my daughter today, to see The Frog and The Toad. It was such an amazing performance. The actors were great and had us laughing and singing along the entire show!! I will definitely be back again to see another play, this time with my family!! The cost was very reasonable too!!
Danielle Speaks
My girls and I love the Arden theatre, we attend more than twice a year. Snow white was our most recent stage play and the classic tale that stood out the most. This particular production was most exquisite and a must see again and again. I mostly enjoyed opening up my imagination, and the vibrant creativity effects that came to life along with it. Moreover, Greg Banks is very talented and my girls and I would love to see more of his stage plays at the Arden theatre.
Dana Robinson
This was a memorable staging of The Glass Menagerie, beautifully acted.
Mitzi Corbitt
Please go. The place is very conscious, of contagious anything coming down the pike. Cleaning before shows and after. Please use the sanitizer all around the place.
I must say wear gloves/masks...whatever you need to do to protect yourself and others. Folks will come into the general population/mainstream with their coughing, sneezing, and contagious illnesses. Folks will not cough/sneeze in their shoulder or elbow.
They hold on to their snoty tissues, or drop them in chairs or on the floor.
The actors are phenomenal.
My goodness, these are millions of dollars pay grade performers. Bestowing this high quality body of work for a mere fraction of what the actors are worth is a huge blessing.
The staff are so nice, professional, educated in doing their work. The staff displayed so much grace in hosting their guests. I've been to the Arden Theater many times. However, the theater has been enhanced to an optimum level.
I thank you Arden Theater and I applaud your efforts...to see that your guests have a wonderful time in your facility.
Chas Fisher
One of my favorite places to enjoy a show! Great variety of shows each and every season. No matter where you're seated there's not a bad sight-line in the house. Excellent children's programs/camps thoughout the year.
Robert Wharton
I take my class twice year and The Arden plays get better and better. My students always love their experience. The staff is always very friendly and the actors are as well. I usually end up bringing my family of 7 at a later date. I truly enjoy the Arden Theatre!
Jacqueline Taylor-Adams
A staple of Philadelphia theatre. Love my experience of August Wilson's GEM OF THE OCEAN starring Zuhairah McGill!
Nhi Cao
A very welcoming, cozy and we managed theatre. I love the announcement at the beginning of the show. Good marketing. Saw Tony Morrison's The Bluest Eyes. Adaption from the novel. Brilliant brilliant directing. Making the harsh, dirty moments so pure and transcending. Hats off to the director !
Nothing has ever made me feel like this. Time froze. I was on the edge of my seat at times grabbing my heart, at times wiping my nose, at times looking up to breathe. Nothing has ever made me feel like this and I know (and I hope not) it would be a long time before I ever see something like this again. This production, this adaptation, this bringing to life of a masterpiece with an all black cast infuses you with a complexities of emotions, aesthetic responses at any single moment, a fleeting moment that lasts longer than they are supposed to be, that hangs mid-air your heart, your brain, whatever you have brought here with you tonight to offer to the stage.
What I'm trying to say is, for other productions, you will feel certain things at certain times: this moment you feel wonder, this moment you feel pain, this moment you feel regret or joy, but with this production, what I experienced was so so rich; it was a multitude of you-name-its, happened and infused your whole being in any given moment. It was rich, so so rich in truths in history in humanity. It was way beyond me and it took me over.
I have to catch my breath writing this to you. I love the show, very much.
#ArdenBluest
Seeing black souls giving voices to their stories shook me to the core.
Michael Jackson
Great play. Excellent and quality effort put forth by the actors. The Arden does a good job intreprating the theme and story in a small venue. Affordable ticket prices makes the Arden a very attractive value. Gem of the Ocean is a very good play.....See it and one should consider a membership subscription.
Alex Caroline Robboy
When I first told my 8 year old son that he was going to do this camp he was very upset. In fact, we had a fight about it. Much to both of our surprises he LOVED IT. Basically Arden Theater took a child who had no interest in acting and made it really fun. He is now not only willing, but interested in signing up for more. This is an extremely well thought out camp. It's very educational, and supportive and well done. At the end of every day parents are handed a summary of what was done, along with some guided questions that you can use to illicit a conversation between you and your child to learn more about his or her day. I was thoroughly blown away by this camp. It exceeded all of my expectations. A very grateful parent.
Jose Ortiz
Loved it. the location is easy to get to, the actors are very talented, and the props are very well made. Oops I forgot to mention the music and sound effects are awesome. This is my second time going my daughter and I hope to go again soon.
Mike Webb
My first time at the venue. The play was set in the smaller intimate, stage at the theater. Confotable seating, with enough personal space. Very helpful voluteers. The crowd seems to be for the large part patrons or members. I get that the theater deserves the community support it's earned. Enjoyed the production. The acting and stage crew were top notch. Very Professional.
Old city is tough to deal with if you drive a car. Consider public transportation. There are many great restruants and clubs in the area. Make a night of it.
Mercedes
I saw an August Wilson play in the Haas theatre on the first floor. I love the unique stage set up. Seating is on all three sides of the stage and it's small but not uncomfortably tiny. I prefer a more intimate theatre. Seating was also a stadium set up so everyone gets a good view of the stage. The only issue is finding parking that's not too high. Meter parking is up to 3 hrs for $7.60 or $20+ for a parking lot. U can get a discount with your ticket stub though.
Robert Leonetti
The Arden knocked this one out of the park! Beautiful rendition of Ragtime. Strong cast, beautiful music; they made the best of a spartan set. The issues of race, immigration & the growth (or not) of relationships rang as true today as when the play was set.
Go see it!👍 …
Micki Goldberg
This production of Ragtime is spectacular.
Brilliant cast and staging. Theater in the round is so wonderful. I can’t say enough in praise of this show.
Saw Ragtime on Broadway in 1999 with the original cast after it won many Tonys and I was so excited to see it again.
My takeaway, my laughter and tears were heightened in this production because of the trauma of this world we live in now.
Don’t miss an opportunity to see theater as it’s meant to be seen. Til October 27.
sally mcgraw
The acting and theatre facilities are excellent. After a full day of work and then driving into the city it would have been wonderful to see a light-hearted, fast paced 2.5 hour play. In "A Dolls House" we did not have that. The actors certainly deserved a standing ovation - you were drawn right into their story and their lives. But the audience was overwhelmed by the hopelessness of of the situation and personalities of the characters when "A Dolls House" ended we could barely call up enough energy to clap. Kudos to these actors -
We purchase "A Leap of Faith" subscription and have been in every theatre in the Arden facility. We have never been disappointed in a production that we've attended.
Anne B
Theater seating is good from any angle, both auditory and visually, since the theaters are relatively small. Some steps up for most seating. Two theaters here, one on first floor, one on second floor. Elevators and accessible seating available.
Always a line for the ladies room. Food and drinks for sale, a few small tables for sitting while waiting available. Performances are always excellent and music is live.
Robert McCarthy
This was my first time there. I took my six-year-old daughter there to see the Charlotte's Web production. The venue is awesome! It is very intimate. My daughter and I were captivated for the entire show.
DGR
Great small theater. Not a bad seat in the house. Great acoustics. Could hear everything clearly. Saw a final dress rehearsal for Fun Home. It was a little chaotic in the lobby since seats were not assigned, but everything worked out fine. Not much parking around there so it would be nice to have a list of places to park. I was very early and got a spot in the lot in the alley.
Joe M
First time attending a performance at the Arden to see "Once". Shouldn't have waited. The show was wonderful. The cast weren't just very good actors, they were very good musicians as well.
As far as the venue, the seating nearly surrounds the stage 360° with the performance all around the theater, in front, in the isles and behind you. The seats are comfortable & larger than most theaters.
There are many local restaurants that will give a 10% discount by showing your ticket. Check the Arden's website for list. We visited "The Plough and the Stars" to start off our night out. It'sjust 2 blocks away..
Cindy Russ
I took a quick trip to the theater while in town and found this to be a fantastic experience! So well done! My Uber dropped me off at the Arden Theater building down the block so be careful about finding your way to the actual theater down just a block. Worth the trip!
GAil Welsh
Very nice theatre, anywhere you sit is a great view.
Samantha Lott
Amazing final dress rehearsal performance at the Arden. Pay what you wish for the final dress rehersal, a bit if a wait for tickets that aren't guaranteed, but it was cool. It's a nice little theater with a very versatile stage, and potentially nearly all around seating.
Ari Kuroda
It's been years since I last went to the Arden but I'm so glad I went back. Every show there is a true treasure. Part of it is the layout of the theaters; they're wonderfully designed to fully immerse the audience in the performance. The performers are definitely the best part though.
There's a certain quality about the performers at the Arden that I can't quite put my finger on but they put on the best shows in town. It's the little things about the performances that will stick with you forever. I still remember like it was yesterday when Erronius was jogging between the sections of chairs counting his laps in the 2006 performance of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Likewise, I'm sure a decade down the line I'll still remember the Emcee coming around to hold hands with audience members and the other stars of the Kit Kat Club coming around to chat (in character) before the show Cabaret began.
If you haven't been to the Arden yet or if you've been away a while like I was, I urge you to go. It's an experience not to be missed!
Jenn Levito
Awesome theater! We have been annual subscribers to the children's theater program for 10+ years. The drama classes are fun and very educational. All of the actors, actresses, and crew are professional and eager to introduce children to all of the workings of a theater!!!
victor dunson
This is a wonderful theater with great sight lines and comfortable seating. The productions are top notch as well.
Katie Burrows-Stone
A great little theater! I brought about 25 kids here to see the play The Bluest Eye, based on the book by Toni Morrison. They did a great job of thoughtfully and carefully showing the power themes.
Claudio Kuhn
Theater is configured well and seats are all good. We take our kids to the children's shows every year and it's been great exposure to Theater for them. Most of the shows I've seen here are pretty good.
Russ Troyer
The Arden consistently presents excellent live theater. Their five adult and two children's productions each year are unfailingly great stories, creatively staged, well-acted and well-directed.
Marlene G Smolen
Second year having a subscription. We love it. Outstanding local theater. Terrence Nolan curates great selection of plays. A Dolls House was most recent. Loved it. Also loved Cabaret. Glad to live close by.
Tinuke Oye
Phenomenal theatre that produces insightful shows, utilizes space incredibly, and leaves audiences mesmerized.
yolanda jennings
Love the new building additional building!
Mike Sherman
Seems like always a good performance. Thought provoking. Good acting. Good direction. Small theatres bring you close to the stage. All at very good prices. We are subscribers year after year.
Alex Ochs
Ragtime was my third show at the Arden and I continue to be amazed at the production quality of their shows. The voices and acting were Broadway quality! Love that this theatre is here in Philly!
kathy sheridan
Great theater. Entertaining shows. Always a variety, with excellent actors.
Mick Chorba
Brought AP Literature class to production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at The Arden Theatre. Top notch performance. Laugh out loud show. Really creative use of music. Plus the cast stayed after to answer questions. A+ experience.
Chris Wyatt
All seats are excellent in the Arcadia Theater in the Arden. We saw My General Tubman...highly recommend this. Well written, outstanding actors, all from Philly.
Bettyna Duprey
Loved it the staff was curtious, and the facility itself was clean. As far as parking, well its center city. You will need to pay at a parking lot. Not one available in the theatre itself.it. We saw Peter Pan. It was great. It had a modern twist without loosing its originality, or syory line. The kids used their imagonation and still found it to be magical. We had a good time and a great experience.
Matan Barnea
Great theatre with excellent productions. Some are better than others but I've never been disappointed. Parking can be a challenge in this area so consider alternative modes of transit if possible. Plenty of great restaurants at all price points nearby.
sandra o'connor
My son adored Charlotte (from their production of Charlotte's Web).
You can meet the actors after and he was just enamored. Wonderful children's theater production, with wine for adults in a sippy cup!
John Lyden
My wife and I saw Once on Broadway for our 10th dating anniversary several years ago, and when the chance to see it at the Arden came up for our 12th wedding anniversary this year, we jumped at it. We were not disappointed.
Once is a show that thrives on being in the scene, where you're transported to a bar in Dublin, a music shop, an apartment...and a Hoover shop. The setting in the round was more effective than the production was on Broadway. You're there, and in the middle of it, and the entire soundscape surrounds you.
The cast was top-notch. In a show like Once, where everybody is playing their own instruments the entire time, you need a level of dedication a cut above your usual musical: you can't relax if your downtime is also playing during the show! Musicality, both instrumental and vocal, was amazing. The a capella reprise of Gold was stunning, with the cast surrounding the audience on catwalks.
We loved it more than the original production on Broadway. We're thrilled with the production and the Arden. We'll be back.
Michelle Lofton
Productions at the Arden are always high quality and they are not afraid to bring shows that are thought-provoking, and deal with themes such as social justice, racial inequity, equality, and more. I've seen a dozen or more shows at the Arden, including most recently My General Tubman; but also Ragtime, 74 Seconds to Judgement, Treasure Island, and I have never been disappointed. meteted parking around the theater can be hard find and lots are expensive. However, its an easy walk to the bus and subway. The Arden is one of my favorite theaters in Philly.
George Shal
Highly... and strongly... recommend "General Tubman" that is playing at the Arden now. The run has been extended a bit so you may still have a shot at tickets.
Do it. Learn something. Feel something strong.
Curtis Farrow
Saw my first show last weekend. Regret waiting so long to get there. Wonderful performance of Once. Terrific atmosphere. Comfortable seats. Loved it.
Mindi Glachman
The productions have been really well acted. The price is very reasonable, upstairs, the seats are roomy and the setting is even more intimate than the main stage down stairs.
Jessica Fisgaer
Fun Home was one of the most amazing shows I have seen!
Louis Hansell
Arden Theater has been presenting excellent theater productions for about 30 years. They are a natural treasure to the city of Philadelphia. In Olde City, so you have your pick of amazing places to dine, then see a terrific show. Always top-notch.
Lily Sugarman
We had a very nice experience on opening night of Charlotte's Web. Everyone is so nice and the activities for kids that went with opening night were excellent. Very well produced and acted play.
Maureen Cimochowski
The Arden Theater was wonderful! The show was great, the cast took time for a Q & A with children in the audience and greeted everyone in the lobby. Great outing!
Roman Brant
Arden is a great community theater!
William Jantsch
Productions are generally of high quality and the actors are very strong. Some new plays are better than others, but it is a delightful adventure to see a new show. My wife and I are subscribers.
Nick Cvetkovic
Puts on some very interesting plays including a few musicals. It is a rather small theater and the seating resembles a slight upgrade from your high school bleachers. Reasonably priced, it's a decent trade off.
Tiras Maiyu
Very nice place. I watched the play "Gem of the Ocean" and the actors played their parts well. Seats were okay and the actors were very accommodating after the play. Good place for a trip with the family.
M Yuille
We saw Peter Pan and it was amazing! The actors, set, and story were wonderful and told in a unique way. Even my 2 year sat still and enjoyed.
Rev.Mrs.Harriet M Snowden-Jackson
Awesome play & Actors. Esp the lil children, we went to see *RAGTIME* HISTORY & HUMOR, Great prices. Esp for seniors. Hubbie & I love it. We will be returning in NOV.
Sierra Wright
I always think I'm going to love a show when I go to the Arden, but it's pretty hit or miss. They're well established as a company but their vision is pretty limited and culturally lack diversity.
Ronni Barton
Aside from being a great venue, the Arden's current production of Once is wonderful...far better than the national touring company version that came through several years ago. Go see it!
Nicole
My family and I went to see the stinky cheese man over the weekend....my son really liked it... the performers were very energetic and involved with the audience .. it was a really cute show... I was kind of disappointed in the costumes.. I thought they could have done a lot better with looking like their character... they were just in regular clothes mostly with just a few props on them .. mostly made of what looked like bed sheets and recyclables... other than that it was a good show.
Bruce Mcmahon
Very good theater in choice plays, presentation and outstanding talent.
Have been a subscriber for years and always enjoy ourselves. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys good theater.
Liam Gnzlz
Great performance of Cabaret, and a very spacious building. They had nice clerks, and very talented actors/actresses to wow the audience. I would return again.
Nancy (Nance)
First time there and I will be back . We took our 2 year old grandson to see Charlotte's Web. We never saw him sit so still. Great job to all that participated.
Leila Abdelmeguid
We go here on school trips for my kids school. So far, I have seen three of their plays. The plays are excellent. We have so much fun there, I would definitely come back!!
diana Holden
Just saw ragtime tonight. Absolutely fantastic job as always at the Arden Theater. Wonderful actors, fabulous voices. Such great talent.
Craig Cleveland
74 Second to Judgement is an incredibly powerful and timely play that deals with very heavy topics that our society continues to struggle with. The cast is amazing in how they draw upon emotions in walking us through these complex issues.
Connie Leber
The theatre is intimate - all seats are excellent. The play we saw was fantastic! The acting was outstanding. A great experience all around!
Donald Bakove
Inventive production of the exciting musical, "Ragtime". A must-see show dealing with race, bigotry, love, and family values presented by an extremely talented cast acting and singing to a wonderful score.
Jennifer Herrera
Absolutely love the children's theatre! Best part is my kids love it too.....went to one show two years ago and became a subscriber after that.
Warren English
The performers were unbelievable. I can't believe that they have done so much work in such a small amount of time. I cannot wait to see the final.
Warren
Michael Brown
Excellent! Wonderful experience for children. My daughter has been to two shows and both were very well done. Look forward to next chance.
Nene Slay
We saw Peter Pan! Excellent experience! Amazingly helpful and friendly staff AND actors who actually met with the kids after the play to answer questions and have photos taken! Incredible experience!
Chris Tempro
Saw A Doll's House in an intimate setting in the round. Powerful performances in a great space. Looking forward to the next production on the main stage.
Harm Scherpbier
Fantastic. The musical play Once was a great performance, story, music, singing, acting, staging, what a wonderful show. Best theater in Philly!
BeeBags
I loved the intimacy of the theater in the round. The ingenious interpretation of the production's use of the actors' talents as instrumentalists was well appreciated.
Maryam Suluki
Loved it. Every seat a good seat. Sound was good. Enjoyed tonight's performance. Ushers friendly and helpful.
Sandy Wetzler
Charlotte's Web was fabulous! Must-see family experience. All seats are good. Welll be back for Treasure Island!
Luis DeVelasco
So glad the Arden is back. Excellent production of Strretcar Named Desire
Mudkipz
It was a great theatre, saw Ragtime in the round. Sound sounded wonderful but there where times where the actors where above you and you couldn't see them.
Angela Hou
