The Capri isxa beautifully restored theater. Intimate setting with comfortable seating. The lobby and surrounding areas are clean and contemporary and mixes old and new beautifully. We saw An Evening With The Divine Miss E! featuring Erin Schwab. Erin was fabulous and captured the spirit of Bette Midler with her remarkable voice and her gift of performing in musical theater. The Staggering Harlettes, Kimberly Michaels and Emily Villano, were great backup singers and entertainers. Pianist Lori Dokken was amazing at the piano and also humorous as part of the show. Bassist Ian Young and drummer Dave Stanoch completed the band and gave great performances as well. The entire performance made for a wonderful evening.

I've been to this theater several times before and after the renovation. It only gets better and better. What an amazing location with amazing performances.

Really nice inside and they have a parking lot which is super because often times easily accessible from the street means street only parking but not here! Went here for an art show and yep, the whole facility is very nice. I highly recommend checking it out especially if you live around the neighborhood and they have an event or something. Have only experienced good things here even if neighborhood might make some people nervous. I felt safe there!

Very nicely redone venue with a main theater, green rooms, rehearsal areas and classrooms. They have a large parking area and good lighting. The sound system is much improved and makes this iconic Minneapolis landmark a must visit entertainment venue.

The very first EVER Prince stage performance was at the Capri Theater! The Revolution had not been born yet! It just went through a renovation a'nd looks great! It's approximately a 300 seat theater with dressing/green room and 2 kitchens, one upstairs and one downstairs!

When I was a kid, almost every weekend we would walk down to the Capri Theater to catch a kung fu, Godzilla, or the latest blacksploitation movie i.e. "Shaft", "Superfly". Today its a different story. I had the opportunity to catch a couple shows down at the old Capri, one was a teen talent show which was very entertaining and the other was a fundraiser featuring a jazz ensemble with some of the best local musicians and singers the Twin Cities has to offer. This place is definitely a hidden treasure.

I have attended Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra events at the Capri and loved the short concerts. I recently attended a free Thursday movie available to Northside residents. I was impressed with the movie selection and hope to attend more events at then Capri. The Capri is a Northside gem for sure.
