I have had the joy of being part of the First Stage family via my spouse Erin Whitehead. Every time we have attended one of the amazing First Stage plays at The Todd Wehr Theater it has been unforgettable. As a family we recently attended Arthur and I for one was blown away at the talent these kids as well as adults have. Do yourself a favor and attend a show. You'll be supporting the Milwaukee Arts community while having an amazing time!

Wonderful venue. Back again to see the production of Matilda. This play was outstanding. The performances by every cast member just blew me away. The staging and use of props in that small area was really creative. And the live orchestra sounded great and contributed much as there were a lot of songs.
This was a very special event and obviously took a great deal of effort to stage and direct.
Hats off folks...

Parking is easy to access north across the street ($15). The venue is cozy, and our experience with the volunteers and staff for the Matilda play put on by First Stage was great!

Obviously the content of the entertainment is 99% of the experience however, this theater has excellent seating and the acoustics are good ...even without mics. The theater is located on the river side of the PAC and there are steps to 🪥 mb to the entrance. There is handicap access through the PAC itself. …

As an actor, I can share that the Todd Wehr Theater is truly amazing. The design of it is beautiful and is well put together. Me and my fellow performers come here to the theatre pretty much everyday. The theatre is very nice and helps us with our rehearsals\performances. Also, the people there are so nice and welcoming! Thank you Todd Wehr! We love you! :)

This was the most awesome theater I have visited in a while. We went to see A wrinkle in time. It was an excellent play, proper time management. The only concern I have was the elevators were out of order so everyone had to climb the stairs. I felt that was not a good look. I was miserably tired from all the flights of stairs you have to climb then go down to get to the first stage. But other than that the ushers we're very friendly and took the time to show you to your seat. I would recommend everyone visit this theater at least once in their lifetime. The detail of the building is amazing. The design is out of this world different but spectacular. We will return again.

We came to see The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and it was AMAZING! The actors were totally in character, the singing was right on and my entire family (4 year old included) was entertained throughout the entire production. Bravo! Additionally, the seating was comfortable and our views of the stage excellent.
