Reviews of The Palace Theatre
My husband and I saw Grease. What a terrific show! The actors were incredible. We both loved it so much! I was able to get another friend to go the next day because I told her it was so great. We actually talked about it today and she told me she was blown away as was I. Great job everyone! I can't wait to visit The Palace Theatre again in the future. Beautiful venue! A++++
First time here with the family to see Recycled Percussion. We had a great time! The theatre was beautiful and very clean. My family and I would definitely come back here to see another show.
Wonderful historical theatre...teeny tiny seats... Saw 'Who's Bad' The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience. Fun show! They kindly asked for no dancing in the aisles but had a small dance section on either side of the stage instead!
Went to do some preliminary research on the Palace Theater as my Paranormal research team is hoping to be doing an investigation there soon. The staff was INCREDIBLY helpful and friendly. The architecture is jaw droppingly beautiful and the rich history of this Theater makes it WELL worth the visit!
Went to watch Recycled Percussion on New Years night and it was a GREAT show. Enjoyed the night with my friend.
I like how the entrance looked with all the lights on the 🌲 s. Inside looks nice. Seats are a little small. If you sit directly in front of the stage, you may have a problem seeing what is going on with the performance in the back. Sound was good, in fact, it was loud at times. I saw"Spamalot" and I had a great time. Bathroom, though in good shape, was overstocked with supplies. The Palace Theater is a good place for an off Broadway performance. Parking garage nearby. Wifi was spotty, even guest relations had a problem. All of the staff were friendly and professional.
Update: Saturday afternoon, May 2022; AC works! Nearly 90° outside and inside was cool. I saw Mel Brooks "The Producers", which was good! Same courteous and helpful staff. Bathroom was in good shape and the air freshener had a pleasant aroma.
I recommend this theater 🎭!
It's a great old theater experience and there's really not a bad seat in the house!
I love going to The Palace! Acoustics are great, has that "historic theater feel", if you know what I mean. Staff and ushers are great and they host some wonderful shows. I just saw "A Christmas Carol" for the 7 or 8th time there with my grandson, it was amazing.
Smallish venue with no bad seats in the whole house! Thinking about joining the offered "membership " to enjoy some of the perks. Lots of nearby parking (garages within walking distance). Diverse events such as comedy, concerts, and plays. If you're in the area or live locally, this is a "must try" for entertainment with many types of popular restaurants nearby!
I have been here several times, for all different types of shows. It is a small theater, that is not a bad thing, instead a positive as there really isn't a bad seat in the place (I haven't found one). The employees have always been friendly and the place has always been clean. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and if you want to eat before or after the show, there are many local restaurants (within walking distance) which will put a smile on your face and fill your belly.
The Palace Theater is in downtown Manchester NH. We found that it quite easy to get from route 93 with plenty parking around the theater. The place was very clean. The experience was great. We went went for the children's performance of Newsies and it was really well done. It's worth going for one of their many shows.
We saw Another Tequila Sunrise at the Palace. We loved the theater. It has that 1940s feel. The show was great. I would definitely go back to the Palace.
Very nice quaint theater. The staff are very helpful in getting you to your seat. Even though I was in the back row I still felt close to the stage. (Lower level)
Great place not a bad seat anywhere
Killer Queen Tribute Band @ Palace Theatre on 3/25/23, was fantastic! Great vocals, entertaining, and highly recommend seeing.
The seats were absolutely wonderful.. We're 1st row on the balcony and couldn't ask for better seats. My whole family enjoyed it. A Christmas cow is one of my favorite Christmas movies and they performed it to perfection
Great place for a show. #whosbad
Really great show tonight - Tramps Like Us. They were high energy and so much fun to watch!
Seat was great until they let a person sit in front of me that refused to leave his walker that had a seat on it sit in front of me blocking my view. I was there to watch my Grandchild dance and he blocked my view 75percent . It was a wheelchair seating but he was not in a wheelchair. He sat about 6 feet tall in front of me. I was very upset they allowed him to sit there. He should of been in the back row.
We saw a Billy Joel review here. The show was spectacular, and the theater is a cozy, comfortable, traditional place with solid acoustics. Worth a visit, depending on the show.
Great spot. Not a bad seat in the place. Smaller venue but makes you feel like your a part of the show not a mile away.
This was my first time going to the theater.
We saw a Christmas Carol and the venue was great. When we purchased the tickets I thought the price was steep but the show was amazing 👏 …
Great shows and venue for live entertainment. Parking is an issue so show up early. Good area restaurants so good early and have dinner before show.
It is a beautiful building. The associates that work there a wonderful and the show was perfect. The singing the dancing was fabulous.
One comment I had box seats overhanging the stage and there was obstructed view on the side of the stage which was disappointing...
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. It was very clean. It was beautiful with that old time charm. We can't wait to go back for another show.
The theatre is as great as ever.
Highly recommend shows here. And while you're at it get dinner at one of the many great restaurants short walking distance away.
Nice historic theater. Closest parking is Red Oak Parking Garage. On Saturday the event rate was $20 and they only accept credit cards. Recommend arriving at least 30 min before theater performance begins to get a space in Red Oak Parking Garage.
Love this cozy venue!! Saw The Piano Men there. Fast, easy to get in and every seat is good!
We attended the first on stage practice of Christmas Carol. We saw a couple of scenes, and it looks amazing. If you have not purchased your tickets, the show opens up this weekend until December 23. We highly recommend it. We have seen it before, and every time is superb. Have fun. Enjoy the show. For the entire cast, success and brake a leg. See you soon.
Great place, no bad seats, Recycled Percussion put on an absolutely great show.
Wow! Beautiful building. Extremely nice and helpful ushers. The musical Legally Blonde was fantastic.
My husband and I were just passing through your beautiful city and saw the ad of the show in our hotel.
What a fun night! Well done!
Such a beautiful theater. We went with the kids to see Frozen (which was really good by the way) It is very clean and well maintained. The staff is super friendly and make it easy to find a seat. Shows are quite reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back.
Love the Palace Theatre! Fantastic venue to see a show of any kind. Everything from Plays like “A Chorus Line” to Stand Up comedy like “Bob Marley”. They’re reasonably priced too.
The most amazing, professional, experienced and kind dancers, actors and actresses!! Gentle and passionate teachers with so much experience with children. Anybody that works there has always been so kind and helpful. The front desk customer service is impeccable
Saw 2 performances back to back nights, Intimate venue, no bad seats and decent pricing make for a fun night out.
Attended a recycled Percussion show there on new years. The performer's were top notch and the theater is amazing good ole theater with lots of history and amazing staff
Jim Brickman Live Concert
Was our first time At The Palace Theatre and First time seeing Jim Brickman in concert
We enjoyed it so much and You will see us again When And If Jim Brickman does a Christmas Concert
I have been fan of Jim's for over 20 years. I have so many of his cds and would love more too
Outstanding show! Performance was awesome. The cast truly amazing! So talented.
Great seating, layout and service! Prices were not as badly over priced as other theaters! Watched "Cabaret" here on Friday night with my sister, awesome show!!!!
Saw Jim Brickman today, show was great, theater is comfortable and sound is awesome. Jim was like hearing a nice hug!
The staff at the Palace are amazing. Very friendly and helpful. I went to see Grease and enjoyed every minute of it.
The Palace Theater is excellent. The quality of the performances surprised me the first time we went with how good they are. I highly recommend people try them out
Great little venue to watch a show. Have never had a bad seat, always a pretty good line of sight to the stage. Seen a few different types of shows here, little shop of horrors and recycled percussion to name a few. Especially for its age, everything is in good condition that I could see. Bathrooms are in working order. I'm 6'2" and the seats actually have a little bit of room so you don't feel like your sitting in the lap of the person next to you or your knees are in your chest. I recommend this venue to go see a show at.
Friendly, helpful staff. Show was great.
Beautiful, ornate theater with balcony seating that ensures there isn't a bad seat in the house.
Saw the secret garden here January 19th at 7:30 pm. A wonderful play, job well done, by everyone. A nice atmosphere, clean, and friendly staff. We'll definitely go back and see another play or show.
Great show. Really nice staff. Loved it. Clean.
The palace theatre is a true get. Every summer we enjoy the summer series. This year so far we have attended 6 shows, each one better than the last. The palace produces incredible shows at affordable prices! Legally Blonde this year was amazing. Thank you for being such an incredible venue with fantastic entertainment. I feel so fortunate to live in NH and get to see so many amazing shows! The palace academy for the arts is another 5 star program! Thank you for offering dance, voice, theatre and camps to children!! Everyone has been very professional and kind and caring.
Went to see the first Recycled Percussion show of the New Year. Despite some small technical difficulties the show was great. The venue is clean, staff are super friendly and helpful. An usher walked us directly to our seats rather than just pointing and sending us on our way. The staff near us also really seemed to enjoy the show! It was adorable watching one of the ushers dance away. Would recommend seeing shows here!
Love the Palace Theater in Manchester we go often and are members. Most shows are 39.00 dollars each for tickets. Can't beat a nice night out and a good show for under $100.00 for 2 tickets. If you become members you get 2 free tickets each year also. Also some good restaurants near by that the theater gives coupons to members.
I have enjoyed Jim Brickman’s shows so much! Couldn’t wait for him to come back to the Palace in Manchester, NH, but will be away when he comes in Oct. Envious of all of you who can see his show! Please make The Palace in MHT a yearly event, Jim!
Drinks were pricey and seating was tight however the atmosphere and old history was just amazing. Such a great intimate play to watch a musical. So much fun!
First time going to the theater to see Legally Blonde and it was an incredible experience. It is a small historical theater but I feel like there are no bad seats in the house. Everyone we met, from the ticket staff to the bartenders to the membership ambassadors, were all very friendly and eager to talk about the show and the history of the building. I wish there were more places like this around but I am glad that this theatre remains (fun fact there used to be 22 in Manchester but now this is the only one!)
Palace Theater in Manchester, NH is an outstanding venue for plays and concerts.... Saw Stayin' Alive - Bee Gees Trubute there tonight. Third time seeing then at the Palace.
Saw A Christmas Carol. Great place, clean, crowds well managed, good prices, plenty of nearby parking...
I took my 1 year old daughter to one of the summer series "The Little Mermaid". Tickets were only $9, the show was an hour long, and we both loved ever moment of it.
Great Theatre, very clean and friendly staff. Stage was well done.
Saw Little Women. Fantastic!! The staff were also Top notch.
We saw Little Women on opening night and it was incredible.
Excellent historic playhouse. This place is a great venue for concerts and plays as well as anything in between. It's one of the only such locations in the state so make sure to pay it a visit.
Went to see the Palace Youth Theatre performing Cats, and the show was fantastic.
Took my so here to watch A Christmas Carol and the show was amazing!!
Pianomen was a Great show. Incredible choreography.
Excellent performance, theater was easy to get to and it's beautiful.
It is not only lovely, but historically accurate. A must to experience
Great shows at great prices! No bad seats anywhere in the house!
Great little theater and the staff were super friendly and helpful! Every seat is a good seat to see the stage. Can't wait to come back.
Great show.great view, Small seats
One of the best performances of "A Chistmas Carol" I have ever seen.
Always a great show here. Highly recommend!
This theater is a great value for local entertainment. I have seen a few shows and have been very happy every time. If your in the area check it out.
Saw "A Christmas Carol" here and it was our first visit. How did we not go sooner! The only down side is the Bar is very expensive. Other than that the venue is awesome! This is something that if you have not gone, you are missing out! Parking garage across the street, restaurants around the corner in either direction. Perfect for a date night.
A vintage theater featuring current acts. A very nice venue.
Great venue. The seating is a little tight.
Great place to bring the kids to see other young theater performers. We've seen multiple Disney based plays here and they always very entertaining. They close down the snack bar during the performance, so no snacks or drinks during the show. Bit if you get in a bit early, you can get everything you need before the show. Would definitely recommend if you like theater.
Myself and a good friend attended the production of the Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. The show itself was outstanding. However, the seating space was simply horrible. Imagine the cramped space of an airline seat magnified 100 times over. It is a beautiful theater but the lack of leg room seating space is absolutely ridiculous! A munchkin would find it cramped!
I've been coming to this theater for years. I saw my first Broadway show here when I was just 3 years old: "Guys And Dolls". The quality of shows here never fail to disappoint. I've seen: "A Christmas Carol" (twice), "Oliver", "The Diary Of Anne Frank", "Altar Boyz", "Miss Siagon", and "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" all here. I can't wait to go back!
Great theatre, fantastic location and a perfect size. Stage is a little small for Broadway type shows but it works and the sound is great!
We thoroughly enjoyed The Palace Theatre’s 2021 production of A Christmas Carol! This was our family group Holiday event, and we loved the quality performance of this classic tale. We’ll be back!
If you aren't seeing the kids shows this summer for $10 each ticket you are missing out. The cast has done an amazing job with these shows and I can't wait to see them each week. These are done by professional actors and are about an hour long. This week we saw Beauty and the Beast, next week is Rapunzel. I think there are two or three more shows after that before the series ends. The singing, the lighting, the creativity, the costumes...all very well done. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Another first time. Great classic venue, beautifully maintained. Saw Mama Mia, very well done! Snacks and drinks available, Parking available just across the street. Family friendly.
The Palace is a beautiful, intimate theatre that provides a stunning theatre experience!
I accompanied a children's group to see "The Little Mermaid". The show held all the kids in rapt attention! Nice job. The Palace always does a very nice job presenting all of their performances. And they have the best Ushers and volunteers!
What a fantastic theater. Classical setting .
Adult beverages (and kids too) before you enter. Plenty of friendly ushers to show you to your seat.
The production was absolutely perfect.
Saw The Christmas Carol. They did such a great job bringing the full meaning of Christmas. Music, dancing, acting was all on point.
Would highly recommend . Great for the family .Took my 6 year old and he was really into
So happy to have a wonderful place to enjoy .the fine arts of all they offer .its is beautiful and the people who work there are very kind and will help you if you are handy caped. They make sure you have a good experience. Thank you. For bringing such joy to my husband and I.
First time at the palace theatre, loved it! great bee gee's, tribute band!! Can't wait to see them again.😃 …
Love ❤️ this place. We've been members for years now.
The palace theatre is such a beautiful venue. The seats are fantastic no matter where you sit. The staff are extremely professional and helpful. And the actors are always amazing. We see plays with our kids and they love it every time. We also see plays just the 2 of us and have an amazing time with other adults. My favorite venue for a good play with a fancy feeling
Lovely small to mid-sized theatre for small concerts/plays. Balcony seats are stadium style, so no nosebleed sectioning, not a bad seat in the place. Great venue.
Wow, just like i remember that wonderful place. "Little Mermaid" was like nothing I'd ever seen. Still floating
We had an amazing time seeing the Christmas Carol.
Great seats everywhere... Ushers know what they are doing. Restrooms both levels is a huge plus!
Very nice venue. Everything was organized.
Was a little nervous to go to an indoor venue, during Covid-19...first time out to a place like this, in a year. Went last night, for our 21st wedding anniversary, to see Juston McKinney (he's hilarious, by the way).
When we went to be seated the seated patrons in the row noted that we seemed to be sitting a little close, with only one empty seat between us. The usher agreed and went to work it out so we could be moved. We were moved to even better seats and I believe we had 2 or 3 empty rows both in front of us, and behind us. Our row was just the two of us on our end, and two other people at the other end. The entire venue was socially-distanced well. I'd say about half of us decided to keep masks on, but it was spaced out so well that masks off would have been fine!
Not only were the ushers(and bartender) friendly, but because the attendees felt at ease, everyone was cheerful and happy to be there.
We noticed, as we left and they prepared for the next show, that the staff were all busily washing down the seats, etc, with spray bottles and paper towels. Great job, Palace! ⭐👏👍
Mama Mia is outstanding!
Another great job on Legally Blond. The youth program also put on a great show.
The performance was much better than I expected. The facility is beautiful. The volunteer staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I will definitely go again.
Performance of Momma Mia was excellent! Staff were very cordial n helpful! What was disappointing, everyone wore masks into the theatre n then removed them as they sat down! The perforormers were EXCELLENT!
The show was fantastic. The box seats we had were great. The view, the staff the performers. What a magical evening.thank you Palace theater.
I have been bringing my children's to the children's series productions for the past 3 summers. The shows are really high quality and entertaining. The 45 min run time is perfect for children and there is a lot of singing and dancing. We usually stay after the show to take pictures with and get autographs from the stars who are always friendly.
I've been a patron of the Palace theater for as long as I can remember. My favorite playhouse for any kind of venue. The shows put on are fantastic, and it's a great place for local arts to display their talents.
Love this beautiful theater! Don't get front row seats though, they're too close.
Good size. Nice lighting. Best seats in the balcony. First few rows on floor lack a view of the stage. Good air-conditioning. Met and greets in the lobby can cause lines. Public parking structure about a three minute walk, Street parking closer
Peter Pan at the Palace was fabulous! Gigi time with a great friend and hers made it even more magical!
Shows have been fantastic - really high quality acting and singing, and not a bad seat in the house! I’d also recommend the summer camp - best camp we’ve done! Fun, engaging, and the final shows were AMAZING!!! We will be coming back for years to come (to camp) and becoming members :)
This is a wonderful and historic theater. They have made renovations in the last few years so despite the age (over 100 years) it is surprisingly comfortable and accessible. They host a diverse array of shows and the talent is amazing. Fun themed drinks for each show and you can bring it in the theater with purchase of a reusable Palace Theater cup!
I think maybe they should lat off the fog for now?
We went to see a Christmas Carol and we ended up leaving after the first half. We were in a good spot, they did a great job in the stage just that all the fog they used for the flash backs...just a bit lung crushing, I tried really hard not to cough because...you know we are in a public space and you don't want people stressing that you have covid..even though we all are choking to death of the same thing.
All and all of was good. There was an old man at the entrance who took his job way too serious, threatening to pull people to the back if they don't get to their seats on time?
Anywho, the theater seatjng..like others have said..is way to cramped. They need to update the spacing.
The musical theatre here is the best around. I have seen multiple productions here, and the creative staff (though very small) never ceases to amaze me with the grand scale of the productions they manage to mount.
Lights are stunning, in Rock Show style.
Costumes are exquisite and beautiful.
Choreography is VERY high energy.
The Live music (YES they ARE actually playing) is incredible.
They're sets are sometimes lacking, but in recent years they have gotten much better!!
+820 seats in the house, and though no seats are BAD, I'd recommend the front row balcony, or very back of the orchestra.
(Do not sit in the front row, as the pit rail will block some of your view)
Their traveling shows are pretty great too, big names like Seth Myers, Cathy Griffith, Jim Brickman, and a slew of fantastic tribute bands; its guaranteed to be a great time.
If you're a local and haven't gone, look into joining their marquee club (you'll save a fortune and get some great benefits). The theatre also does group sales and student rush, just inquire with the box office.
One of the best things to do in Manchester, is go to the Palace. For real...there's not much else to do.
Great performances for reasonable
Prices
I've been here 3 times. 2016; A Christmas Carol, 2017;The Wizard of Oz & 2018; Beauty & the Beast. Each time I had a great time, the shows were great and the employees were respectful. I have sat with my, at the time 3 year old, in the very back & also in the very front and we could see fine sitting at any seat. The drinks were better than I would have assumed.
The cast is always enjoying themselves and putting on a great production. Its always a treat to enjoy a show at the Palace Theatre.
Love the palace! I danced there as a kid and now enjoy shows a few times throughout every year. Staff is helpful, multiple bars throughout, multiple bathrooms, and wide variety of shows. I've seen cabaret, bad, dancing Queen, bob Marley (the comedian), and so many other shows and entertainers here. Lots of great food options within walking distance and parking is usually pretty easy and not too pricey. So glad this theatre is so close.
They put on great plays here, with terrific actors and gorgeous set design. If you are visiting Manchester, I would highly reccomend seeing a play here, as they are usually superb. The theater itself looks very nice, with a good amount of seats and a lot of space. Tickets aren't to expensive, which is great.
For an inexpensive price, this theater puts on a children's summer series which my daughter has fallen in love with. The production value is above average and the entire theater has a friendly atmosphere and staff
A beautiful theater with amazing acoustics! Ticket prices are very reasonable and a membership is only $75! The staff were wonderful. The merchandise was cash only so be prepared...there is not an ATM at the venue.
One of my favorite places in Manchester! They have great shows and do a lot in the community. Take advantage of all they have to offer, you don't see this much programme anywhere else nearby. I love going to see shows and keeping up with their latest news. The Palace is also a beautiful theater worth a visit any time!
Went 8/24 to Old Friends tribute concert. Seating is comfortable and there is literally not a bad seat in the house. Everyone has a great view of the whole stage owing to the small size of the theatre. Place was packed but entry and egress was easy. Ushers very helpful and friendly. Lighting done well. Not sure if the band or the theatre set up the mics, but "Art's" mic was set far to low to hear him for the first six songs. Will be going back to see future shows.
The Palace Theater is the gift that keeps on giving. A well preserved theater with its share of old time charm is the back drop for a vast array of plays, musicals and concerts. I have never seen a bad show there and I have gone may 12-15 times. It is intimate enough so there are no "bad" seats. There are cocktails at intermission and a private room if you have a VIP membership. It is very affordable - particularly compared to say...Boston venues. I highly recommend it...it is a treasure.
Great clean facility. Helpful and organized staff. My wife and I have attended several shows at the palace, the last being Bob Marley the comedian. A nigh full of belly laughs certainly makes for an exceptional evening. Definitely a good place for an adorable evening out!
Saw Aladdin with my grandson. stayed to see the cast.we saw little mermaid last week.he had a blast and said was fun and gives it 5 stars.so there you have it, from the mouth's of babes. (Well 8 year old) It was fun.
Taking our grandchildren to the plays here for four years or so. Great way to introduce your young children and grandchildren to the theater and Broadway shows. Reasonably priced and get a seat in the rear right to quickly get in line to meet the characters. On second thought actually inexpensive considering the quality of the performances. Check out Palace Theatre website
We were able to buy tickets online for the Palace Theatre and pick them up at the counter. They had a very warm welcoming ushers. The place is truly historic and very well maintained. Mama Mia was a treat as we really enjoyed the show.
My husband and I adore this venue! It is a true gem. Just when I thought our experience there couldn't get any better.....
I recently broke my leg and called the theatre in advance of our arrival to see if they could make our seating a bit more accommodating. When we got there my husband was handed our tickets with a smile from a young lady who told us that our seats had been changed to accommodate the situation. We were with another couple as well. We were given a whole row for our use. From that point on we were acknowledged and greeted with care an concern by each staff member, and there were many. They checked in with us through the night and made us feel most welcome and cared for and couldn't do enough for us. I was very hesitant to attend the show as my experiences in public have been trying to say the least. I will never forget their kindness and compassion and I am truly humbled and grateful. I now have the confidence to go in public again and move forward knowing that there are indeed folks who will help. I thank you for that.
In closing, please continue to support this theatre and the great works it provides. Also, be mindful of those who are struggling physically....a hand up and a warm smile is the greatest gift of all.
I give this gem 5 more stars for a perfect 10!
Just great and very safe. They greet you with a warm welcome and my children absolutely loves watching the Disney summer series. We plan to attend each week.
Great dancing dancing, male voice stupendous. However I did not care for the high-pitched female voices especially in the first half. know that this is part of the era of the play. Would not see this play again anywhere. however it is not a reflection of the performers. Overall great dancing and singing.
My friend bought tickets for the tusk show, "will call" tickets. They were easy to pick up, lines flowed smoothly, not a long wait for a drink. Not a bad seat in the house really. Good show.
Balcony seating has very little leg room, but staff helped to accommodate me by moving my whole entourage to the lower auditorium with much more leg room. The ticket sellers should ask if there are any special needs in your party. Still, all in all a nice experience.
I can't say enough good things about the palace. We are so lucky to have such a real gem in Manchester. The shows are great, concessions are awesome, staff is perfect.
And, I got a wonderful thank you not for being a member. Everyone should be a member. The Palace's staff have gone out of their way to accommodate me multiple times.
Yep, the Palace is awesome.
Prices are affordable and everyone that works here is amazing
Loved the small theater! Great seats anywhere. Saw Mama Mia! And it was as fine as anything I've seen in Boston. The affordable ticket prices make it better than going to Boston. Only down side was the parking garage.
It was our first time and we enjoyed it. The concierges and stewards were very friendly. We shall patronize the Palace theater again.
absolutely a delightful! friendly and definitely would go back!
The shows and talent are always on point. They have a bar / snack stand which makes it more convenient. The seating is great from any section, though from the balcony you have a hard time seeing the orchestra. The seating is slightly outdated.
This was a treat for my 89 year old dad to enjoy this wonderful musical. When we found out there was not an elevator the staff made the extraordinary effort to find us seats on main level. Amazing kindness
Great show. The upper seats are at a steep angle and don't line up with seat in front. I had to constantly relocate my knees being a taller guy. Don't sit up top took 45 minutes just to get out
My 7 year old daughter and I went to see The Secret Garden. My daughter loved it so much she asked me if we could go back the next day to see it again. There were two women walking out in front of us as we were leaving the theater that overheard our conversation and smiled. I told my daughter I wished we could but they only had one more show for the Secret Garden and that we could definitely go to another show at the Palace Theater another time. The Secret Garden was truly amazing! We bought the DVD movie afterwards and watched it together.
I love the palace theater. Talented people perform complex awesome shows at good prices.
what a great place to see a show. Great venue right here in our own backyard.
The seats in the balcony are very uncomfortable. If you want to see a show get your seats early or it may not even be worth going. I've been to a few shows and the talent is incredible. I'll go again but I'll never sit in the balcony again my seat number was 320.
Great shows and very welcome.
We love it
This beautiful old theatre is such a great place. They put on stellar shows Grease is coming to a close and Momma Mia will be starting in just a few weeks.
Along with long term shows they also bring in many different types of other shows such as comidians and music acts as well.
If you've never been I would say that's a shame this is truly a temperature in Manchester NH.
My husband company had an event here and it was great. Preshow apps were yummy and nice perk to get in private entrance. Great show and super attentive ushers. Went out of their way to be sure we were comfortable!
I had a great time with the girls!
Went to see the Nutcracker and it was fabulous!
The Palace Theater was an awesome experience. We watched the play "The Buddy Holly Story" All the actors were top notch, the music was excellent, the story was in true to life form, and the seats were very comfortable!
Beautiful little venue! The staff were very friendly and the overall feel of the venue is just cozy. Would highly recommend this place and make sure to stop at the Crown Tavern prior to your show for dinner and drinks.
Have only been once but definitely plan on going back. Saw the play Spamalot. The actors were awesome! The theatre has a great layout for seating and has easy access for everyone.
seen the piano men was a great show !!!!
The Palace Theatre is a great venue for fun family entertainment. We just enjoyed Mamma Mia! And had the best time. How convenient to have this wonderful entertainment right here in Manchester so easy to get to and plenty of parking.
Great local place with the Briadway feel!!
We had such an incredible night last night at the Beauty and the Beast! Not a bad seat in the house and they totally deliver on the performance! Definitely planning on going back soon!
We saw Mama Mia, The show was spectacular! Couldn't have been better! Actors, musicians and sets were spot on!
I have loved the Palace for more years than I could count. The atmosphere, casting, choice of venues, and after parties offer so much culture and clearly show of love of the art of acting. It isan honor to enjoy the history of Manchester come to life.
The greeter and concierge was friendly and outgoing. The ushers were helpful with finding us our seats. The refreshments were mildly pricey. Parking garage directly across the street. Overall, a good experience.
Marvelous, 100+ year old historic venue one block off of Manchester's primary downtown street, The Palace Theater was restored in 1970-something and has been going strong ever since. It's an intimate size, so pretty much all of the seats are good seats.
There really is no beating this place. Fantastic shows, wonderful theater, and amazing membership benefits. I love supporting the Palace and encourage everyone else to! A truly great asset to all of New Hampshire.
Great place! The lack of parking is bad. The garage is always full just a heads up.
Moved up from NYC to Manchester and I love Broadway shows so I had to check out the Palace. It did not disappoint. High quality production musicals, nice theater, comfortable seats, amazing prices. A must see when you are in Manchester. I will be coming here often!
We went to see The Full Monty and I loved it. Everything about this theatre is gorgeous and the play was hilarious. Loved it.
Always a great time whenever I go to the Palace. These people really know how to put on a show! Great staff and the best ushers. Don't miss a chance to see any show here.
One of the best local places to catch a great show in a beautiful venue!
Absolutely love the historical feel, makes me feel like I am in some film noir movie. The seats are tight but the performances are always first class. The Christmas Carol is a must.
Saw Grease. Very nice location pleasant afternoon.
What a fantastic place! There are no bad seats and the talent for Secret Garden completely blew me away. I felt like I was in Boston more than Manchester NH! I loved it so much I went twice.
Saw Bob Marely the Comedian and had a really good time. The only down fall is the line for any drinks was ridiculous. So get there early if drinking is your thing!
Great performance with small seats however they definitely need to pump some fresh air through there. Possibly they could open all doors during intermission, very stale and a wee bit heavy.
This place is so much fun. The people are friendly, and the shows are creative and well done. So talented!
Always a GREAT show! Beautifully maintained part of history! Our own piece of Broadway in Manchester, New Hampshire! Still waiting to see Fiddler on th Roof!
The shows may seem a bit pricey at first, but they do not disappoint. Simply fabulous!
Loving the summer children's series! We've seen two shows so far and both have been AMAZINGLY done!! Can't wait for next week's show!
I have had the pleasure of visiting The Palace theatre twice now and what draws me to this theatre is fact the theatre itself isn't overly large and crowded. I find cosier theatres, where I can get a great view of the stage, just an overall better theatre experience for me. The staff have always been friendly and helpful and there is an abundance of parking nearby. I'll pop in again soon when I am in Manchester!
Great venues but not convenient parking. Being in downtown Manchester gives you a variety places to visit after a show. Prices for tickets are reasonable but the seats are somewhat small and close together.
This is a cool old theater. Its pretty well maintained, and while I was there to see a kids show (so not a high bar entertainment wise) they had done a very nice job adapting the Wizard of Oz, and while there were a few flubs, they soldiered on and managed to delight my kids.
Great old theatre! Big enough to have that proper Theater experience and still have every seat being a great view
Beautiful little theater on one of the nicest side streets of Elm. With some of the best restaurants in Manchester right nextdoor, the Palace is perfect for nights out. The Palace itself is a local treasure, there isn't a bad seat in the house and the staff clearly care for and create an amazing atmosphere there. It is a unique spot and part of an amazing community of people supporting the arts.
Staff was professional, and showed excellent hospitality. The theatre was clean and comfortable. The bar had beer and wine. We saw the show Recycled Percussion - which was awesome.
Saw an ACDC cover band. There was technical difficulty in the beginning, but they got things working! I had so much fun. The band was shooting a video during the concert and it was neat to watch all the videographers.
Saw "A Christmas Carol" here and loved it! The facility is clean and lively with a vintage atmosphere. A little cramped in the lobby but it makes for a cozy environment. Best place to see a play in NH!
This venue is absolutely amazing! Just the right size to get great views, awesome sounds and great shows! They do an excellent job with the youth!
If You're looking for an old time theater atmosphere, you'll have a great time... Not really a bad seat in the house.. Comfy feel... City parking just across the street, just takes a little time to exit..
Nice theatre, bar service was friendly and staff also friendly. The covid guidelines were reasonable and we actually enjoyed having no one in front or next to us. Overall nice experience.
Always a fantastic show! Staff there couldn't be nicer! (Just wish the seating was a little roomier.)
We saw a great show, parking near bye, many restaurants and pubs in the area. Whitney Houston tribute show was excellent
Love attending events there. Great sound and everything runs smoothly.
Very nice venue. The play was just long enough on a weeknight for kids. Good entertainment for a great price
Very cool place to go and watch a show. Very friendly staff!
The Palace Theater is a landmark in Manchester and I recommend everyone see at least one show here. I've seen musicals, movie screenings, and live music performances here and they've all been a blast. This is a place that provides granite staters the opportunity to see hit performances without having to drive all the way to Boston. My only gripe is that the theater, for all its improvements, still needs some work. Black dust (mold?) covers the ceiling and the paint up in the balconies is chipping and in need of a new coat. The prices are a bit high with not many discount options other than the typical student/military ones, but at least the concessions don't break the bank.
The Palace has great entertainment for everyone. The plays that are there are quality. It’s like going to shows in Boston without the stress of the traffic and the expense of the parking.
Great show. Seating on upper level wasn't great and same price as lower level. Parking was hard to find and drinks were a bit pricey for a novelty cup.
First public outing since March. The Palace had worked out a very nice arrangement to keep the social distancing. So sad tho to see so many empty seats.
Very nice theater, quaint, very friendly staff. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Reasonably priced.
Jessie's Girl 80's Show was a lot of fun! Great band and they give it their all! The Palace Theatre is beautiful.
Love going here, about 4 - 5 times a year. Every show is always entertaining. Clean and everyone is friendly.
Nice theater. Always put on a good show. Don't think there's a bad seat I've sat in. Very good job.
What a great venue for a show or concert. The staff were wonderful and helpful. I'm sure we'll be returning for future events.
We went to see the Bob Marley show. It was hilarious. Seating, well there isnt a bad seat in the house. You can see the stage perfectly from pretty much anywhere.
Great place to see a show
Here is a place that has spectacular shows and you all need to come check out the Christmas Carol.
They have plenty of time for tickets and the folks there really make you feel at home and there is a freshment station and just wish.
I could get the two tickets to enjoy it with you all and Merry Christmas to all of you and my family at Palace Threater Manchester NH
Always an excellent experience. Our girls love going to see the children's summer theatre. The plays and productions are always incredible.
Whatva great experience. Enjoyed the atmosphere and show so much we joined as members!
I went to go see The Secret Garden. The ushers were very friendly and more than willing to help! Drinks were fantastic, the show was phenomenal!
One of those "great bones, needs some renovation" theaters. They do book some great shows, though, at great prices. Seats, at least in the balcony, have very little leg room.
Top shelf in accommodations and performance. It is the place to go for top notch acting, singing and dancing
Nice old theater. Good acoustics and sight lines. Balcony seating is for short people, but a great place to watch an opera!
Loved how they decorated for Christmas
I just saw Chorus Line and was blown away by the professional Dancing, singing, acting and overall production quality. Broadway quality at affordable prices. Support this treasure!
Great seats and kids did a super job!
This theatre has such a history to it. I've been to the palace theatre since I was a kid. And its placed perfectly in downtown Manchester. I just wish there was better parking. Though there is the parking garage just behind it.
Beautiful theater! I don't think the is a bad seat in the place. We were there to see Bob Marley who was hilarious!
Been to 2 different shows here and both were amazing!
Amazing venue! I had an amazing time. The Palace is beautiful and timeless and the sound was fabulous! Thanks for an amazing night with Blue Oyster Cult!!!!
Had such a great evening! The Christmas Carol was amazing! The building is in need of some repairs and the seating is very tight for adults.
We saw a wonderful production of The Nutcracker and enjoyed friendly staff, great lighting and acoustics, and naturally a great show. Convenient parking quite near by.
Great place to see a show. Went to see the Producers on 4/24/2022. Excellent show. The Palace employees were exceptional.
Wonderful venue and wonderful production of Dickens Christmas Carol. The staff and volunteers are amazing too!
Great place to see a show or concert. Always enjoy the smaller theatres - you can see no matter where you sit.
Great talented performers are always on stage. Excellent views from most seats. Overall great place to watch a play.
We saw a great musical at the Palace Theater! Gifted talanted profesdional actors and actresses. Beautiful surroundings! We will definitely return!
Great place for entertainment. The shows and casts are incredible. The childrens series in the summer are always a big hit with my boys.
Children's theatre is so fun! My kids can't look away. The prices are good. The actors are so talented.
Saw the current production of "Grease" there. Small theater. Not a bad seat in the house. There is a paid parking garage across the street. A few restaurants nearby stay open after the performance.
All seats are good. I reserve seats early and always sit front row at normal pricing. Almost intimate setting.
Kids enjoyed it. Short play I think 45 mins which is enough to hold their attention* most of the time*. Was overpriced in my opinion and long line to meet characters.
Took my granddaughter to see Peter Pan she was very excited and the actors were fantastic we will be back thankyou.
The palace is a remarkable place to visit. They have something for everyone throughout the year. Affordable prices, great seat options. Definitely recommend giving it a try
I love the Palace. The drinks are generously poured. The seats are ok but not for the husky gentlemen. But there is not a bad seat in the house for viewing
We came here on New year's day to see chaos and kindness and not only were they beyond amazing but so was the theatre i was super impressed and it was cozy
Beautiful theatre, not a bad seat in the house, and fantastic performances!
Such a beautiful place, very kind and accommodating staff, helpful to first timers and gentle with kids. Look forward to seeing more things here, we loved it.
Such a great new venue and Jake Clemens (and his band) was awesome!
We can't wait to go back :)
Historical theater in downtown Manchester. We saw A Christmas Carol the show was well done! Great actors and the singing was Disney quality!!
The production value was excellent. The seats are dreadfully uncomfortable - knees in the people in front of you
Great local theatre with high quality shows at affordable prices. I've been to a number of performances here over the years and so far every single one has been fantastic!
Awesome! Place I met David Cassidy at the meet an greet October 13 2016 it was the best night of my life!!! RiP David :(
Remarkably first-rate theatrical experience. From the orchestra, the singing, the choreography to the acting...Bravo! I will be coming back as often as I can.
I enjoy the shows that they put on but the seats are small for people that have hard time with the seats there tight and no leg room
Smaller Theatre with a grand feel. So beautiful and very helpful with handicapped access seating. Saw a Christmas Carol and it was incredible.
It was wonderful and the actors put on an awesome show all the time
Watched "The Christmas Carol" on stage! What an absolutely wonderful experience and beautiful theatre! Will definitely be making a return in the future!
My daughter was part of her school’s play and it was held here, they did such a great job. She loved every minute of it. Great staff such a great place.
Beautiful old theater, love hearing about the buildings history. Been to 2 awesome shows and will definitely be back soon!
Nice, small venue. Good acoustics. Good place to catch a show.
Seats were tight/legroom lacking, but the show was great and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommend for a night out in Manchester.
The most beautiful experience!! So relaxing and pleasant and beautiful artist performing i enjoyed it so very much. And the staff are amazing.

Awesome show!!
Cozy theatre in Downtown Manchester that frequently has good shows. It's a very friendly staff. It's also a quick walk from many great bars/restaurants.
I really like this place! They do allot of fundraising to keep this historic charming little theater! I had nothing but good experience here!

What a great theatre! Love the theatre, love the bar, love the members area and love how the performers meet and great audience on the way out!
I'm happy we have this entertainment option in Manch, even if they rarely have events that interest me. I like rock music & not cover bands.
Love this place. Great theater for shows and its small enough where all the seats are good seats.
Nutcracker was good! The theatre has a great nostalgic feel for an old place. Lovely!
My kids and I love this theatre. We've been to three plays and they've all been fantastic.

Great atmosphere. The play (Buddy) was one of the best that I have ever seen.
I love the intimacy of it all. My inly complaint is that the seats are to small for someone of even normal size.
