Outstanding venue and comfortable chairs for the show. The actor portraying Red Skelton was superb and spot on for all of his characters. The center had places to sit as we waited for the doors to open. Visited the Red Skelton museum as we waited for the show. Parking is plentiful and just across the street. Good venue for all sorts of shows.

I had such a Great time in Vincennes being a tourists and seeing local history . I wish I got here in time to go into the Museum. I'm a fan of Red Skelton. But what I did get to experience just makes me want to get here earlier next time .

The building is awesome. The stage has the best acoustics in town hands down. You can hear a pin drop in there alone. The only reason this is a 4 and not a 5 is because this venue is too nice. They never have anyone that the kids like play the venue. They're worried that the venue will get torn up. I kinda understand. But the part of me that has hosted shows feels that the management of the venue is lame. The school has the resources to bring major artists to Vincennes. They just don't. Adult contemporary grade stand-up comedy shows are about as far as they go. They keep is way too vanilla.

A wonderful building both in artistic design and and quality it shows plays, movies, music you name it has it, plus a neat little museum dedicated to the great red Skelton Indiana's famous actor and comedian, born right here in vincennes, the home he grew up in is just 2 blocks away and is an historic building.

Poetry on the Green was a nice extra during the visit. Professors were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable in the Performing Arts Center. Nice building on a beautiful campus.

We toured the Red Skelton Museum. It is a wonderful museum. We were there to watch the new movie Mayberry Man at the Performimg Arts Center. It's a beautiful facility.

This is a must stop if you are traveling through Vincennes, Indiana. The museum is full of memories and laughter from yesteryear to today. The museum administrator Doug was super helpful and very knowledgeable and a super nice guy. As you walk through the museum you can see childhood photos and timelines from childhood until his death. There are interactive spots in the museum that are fun for the kiddos and adults alike. There are also several of his original paintings as well his original outfits that he wore in his skits. The gift shop has a great selection of gifts that you will want to take with you. You won't be disappointed I guarantee!!!

I had a fun time and some good laughs. The Host at the front counter that we paid for admission was very rude. There were also some students there at an information counter they were very nice and one of them took the time to chat with us. We really appreciated his hospitality.

This is the defacto repository for all things Red Skeleton! This museum contains all kinds of memorabilia belonging to Red Skeleton, from his early days throughout his entire life. You can learn just about anything you ever wanted to know about this American icon at their museum. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, even though I didn't expect to.

This is a beautiful theater, well laid out, with good lighting and acoustics. I was there to see the Children's Theater performance of The Nutcracker and throughly enjoyed it. VU should be proud to have this facility on it's campus.
